Cool Teacher!

Morales is the best! Hes been one of my favorite teachers over at mission. I've taken to classes with him. i suggest everyone take one of his classes.

Mr. Morales is AWESOME! I have taken every class he teaches at mission and now my younger sisters take his classes. Everyone should take at least one class with him.

Great teacher. Mr. Morales knows the material and will extend an extra hand to help you out. He is not a just a man in a suit, he actually shows interest in what he is teaching.

Morales takes the subject of Chicano/a literature and applies it to contemporary issues and topics. He also includes a study of Chicano/a issues in film. He does not lecture, he speaks to you as if in conversation. He encourages involvement in the class, for he takes the subject very seriously.

KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING. GREAT GUY. HE TRIES TO SCARE ALL HIS CLASSES ON THE FIRST DAY AND BY THE END ON THE SECOND WEEK, YOU'LL KNOW ALL OF HIS TRICKS. GIVES LECTURE, HOMEWORK, QUIZZES, MIDTERMS, MINI PAPERS AND A FINAL.

He is a nice guy and knows his stuff, but he does not teach very well. His lectures are so easy but you have to read tons of material on your own and his tests are tricky. Also gives lots of assignments. I got an A but he curved the heck out of the class and gave exrta credit, so more people would sign up for his other classes.

One of the best teachers I've ever had! Classes are very informational and not boring. You'll never fall asleep in his class. He knows his stuff and knows how to make it fun! Everybody should take atleast one class w him especially all my Latino people.he'll not only make you laugh but you'll come out knowing some crazy and interesting things about the Chicano struggle in the US.

Morales you are the best. He gave me alot of information about latinos and their history. Im Armenian and have alot of latino friends, so i wanted to learn about their history. Mr. Morales did a wonderful job which attached me more with my latino friends. Thank you Morales

Thi is the best chicano professor ever!i was so interested in his class that i took all of them. If you are thinking in taking him, you are going to have a lot of fun. He is the coolest and funniest. makes the class really interesting.

It is difficult to find a professor as passionate and genuinely interested in teaching and reaching out to his students as he is. His passion oozes out and immediately grabs your attention. His classes were amazing, the material that he presented in class were intriguing, and his lectures were undeniably outstanding. He's attractive, too!

Morales knows how to tactfully approach certain topics and address them in class for students to discuss. He was respectful of student's opinions and views and was lenient with the reading load. Written assignments were quite managable. It sometimes seemed like the course objectives were not his priority--some might call that "laid back." Easy A.

Prof Morales makes the class interseting and provides many examples in his lectures so the students can understand more efficiently. There is a lot of reading but if you read you'll do well on his quizzes and finals. He has passion for Chicano Stu.and it shows through his lectures. He has an awesome sense of humor and makes the class feel at ease!

I am in his class now and love every minute of it! Morales is a great instructor and is very passionate about the subjext and getting the information across. He is not as easy as some of the professors here at Mission (Chicano) but he knows much more than them. If you really want to learn take him but you might have to settle for a B like I am!

What are you guys talking about! Morales is the ish. Everyone is getting an A in his class. He is super easy, in my opinion. If, you do all the work like you are supposed to you will without a doubt get an A+. You do not have to settle for a B if you do your work. GREAT PROFESSOR & LOVES TEACHING HISTORY! Took him online for 8 & 37 he is very easy. You are required to do work but its not difficult. You will have to read the text and write a couple of papers but nothing too long.

he is very chill he helps ou alot and i thought field trips ended after high school! oh and he is funny

Easy class if you do your work and just come to class, he is really easy. Do show up to class or he will not pass you because that is how he grades and bases it on attendance, he is really cool.

Professor Morales is an awesome teacher!! You MUST definately take him at least once while your at Mission. He is super funny and you don't dread going to class. He makes class really fun. I also took an online class with him but in my opinion meeting for class is a lot easier than the internet classes!

Morales is freaking incredible! Although, he is not too helpful, he is always willing to help his students out if they ask for help. No extra credit but you really won't need it. I wouldn't say that he is too easy because I got a b and tried really really hard but it's really worth taking!

If you do not take him then you will not get the experience of a true chicano studies teacher. As a Chicano myself you can see passion ooze from him when he speaks. He is a nice guy.

He's boring but he is really informative and he has a lot of energy which makes it fun to come to class but he only teaches in the morning and without coffee it will be impossible to survive in his class (especially at 7:00AM). He knows what's up when it comes to teaching Chicano Studies but he is too tough in my opinion. He needs to loosen up!

Morales is one of the BEST professors at Mission. I'm taking his class again for Ch 37! Love it.

You have to do all the assignments and participate in class and you will do fine. The first test I thought I bombed but he grades on a curve and most people did way worse than me so it didn't affect my grade. He has a true passion for teaching and is always going the extra mile to help students achieve. So much better than history 11 or12.

He is a really good he makes things relatable and easy going its easy to get a good grade if you do all your hw and participate in class. i think its fun how he puts his own twist to chicano history which makes the stories that much more interesting!!

Great professor, very funny. The only complaint I have is that he's extremely unorganized; my grade almost suffered as a result.

I though he would lecture more but everything is all on the book. Make sure you read and do all the homework and you'll pass. I did ok on the tests but still got an A because I showed up and did all assignments

hes real easy just do all the work that he give out you write alot of essays but it seems he doesnt really care about grading them. i bulled most of mine and i would get 10/10. and he uses alot of online to turn in test and all easy class to pass and i didnt show up alot cause it was usually online he didnt take role most of the time

He is by far the best teacher ever I've had here in mission he is truly passionate about what he teaches not to mention he makes it very easy to understand there's no way you won't get an A just do your work & attend class!!!

Fun teacher, taken him multiple times. He's definitely not gonna hand you an A, but keep up with reading/work & you'll be fine. participation helps.

Easy online class as long as you do the readings and assignments. Very straight forward work, he gave us options for extra credit. I recommend this teacher/class if you need to transfer.

Summer online class. Way too much work with little to no intructions. No extra credit offered. Extremely slow grader. Does not respond to emails. All essays are biographies. Dicussions, 2 quizes, midterm and final. The textbook required and is an extremely dry read. If you can, take a different professor.

Like he told all the students the tests you get are based on the homework.

On the first day of class, he is going to question your ethnic identity; Just say you are Chicano. He wants you to learn the material and uses the assigned reading to supplement his lectures. Make sure you answer what he wants in your short writing assignments and PARTICIPATE in class. Go to the Chicano events and write about it for extra-credit.

I went to all the Chicano events for E.C and was able to turn my C to an A. His tests are a combination of the book and his lectures. The HW essays are actually short. PARTICIPATION matters a lot in his class. If he see's you are making an effort, He'll help you out. If you are Mexican-American, just say your Chicano on the first day of class.

i would definitely recommend him to everyone. well spoken, funny, and not exactly the easiest class, but just do the work and u'll pass with an A. It also doesn't hurt that he's not bad to look at.

I took this class online and found it difficult to get into it. The test were difficult as I was not sure what to study for. Wrote weekly 750 word papers. Graded on a curve.

Mr. Morales is a great and funny professor to take for Chicano Studies. His class is easy as long as you read from the textbooks he assigns you to read and pay attention to his lectures. Be ready though to receive a lot of homework from him, although the homework guarantees you to pass his tests.

Prof. Morales gives lots of homework which helps your learning process. The reading of your book, the homework, the documentaries he shows and his lectures are connected. He will give you question on the tests that you find in this sources. Take notes! Prof. Morales is a humorist, speaks freely and is passionate about the subject.

Took this class on-line, I was having trouble so I went to see him and he gave me great feedback and helped me with my work. He is the type of teacher who really care about his students.

Late review but I took Professor Morales Chicano 7 class, his class was fun and went by fast. He does offer extra credit when you participated in class. Do the reading, the quizzes are based on the book. Take notes when he shows you videos.

His class was enjoyable. I don't really like Chicano studies but a lot of ppl reccomended his class. You have a couple of brochures which are a pain as well as pop quizzes and a midterm/final. He tells you information as they are with a humorous twist. You also go on field trips. Cool guy and a laid back class. Easy class overall. Would reccomend!

Professor Morales is not one of those dry professor has a sense of humor, love going to his field trips. As well get ready to watch films, make sure you take notes. Really enjoyed the class.

Morales is definitely one of my favorite professors. He's really funny and assionate about the material. His tests are kind of hard but you really have to pay attention to the videos, lectures, and read the book because he likes to take certain lines out of them and put them on the tests.

Try to keep up with the assignments and you'll pass. Get ready to watch videos but pay attention because he'll give quizzes about them so pay attention to detail he's usually tricky with that. I've learned to carry scantrons with me at all times because he'll randomly give a 10 question quiz at least twice during the semester. Overall, he's great.

While taking his classes, i enjoyed them very much. He grades fairly, test biweekly must read his books.

Professor Morales is a great teacher. His lectures are filled with passion and humor. Although some jokes may be inappropriate it's not to be taken to heart. He really cares about the material & the assignments that are given have purpose. He deserves his title and I would take his class again. Read it will help you ;)

Professor Morales is amazing aside from being hilarious and never dull. He is so wise and always so helpful with everyone. He gives EXTRA CREDIT opportunities. He also provides a study guide for the midterm and final!

To be honest, History is my worst subject and I had no interest in taking Chicano Studies 8 course. The only reason I took this class was because Prof Morales has jokes and was very passionate about this subject. He made his lectures relatable, clear, and they offered a different perspective. Be prepared to do much reading. Overall, he is on point.

Professor Morales is a gem. He is hilarious and really cares about his students. Don't take his jokes seriously he's just sarcastic. His classes are always relatable.

Dull moments are a rarity in Professor Morales class. He is very knowledgeable and his lectures are intriguing. I definitely learned a great deal and have been inspired to continue diving into Chicano Studies. The field trips were informative, fun, and thought provoking. Multiple quizzes, short papers, and lots of reading. He is receptive.

Great professor.

Nothing is hard in his class just do what is asked and you'll pass. The tests aren't hard neither are the pop quizzes. He is very funny so he will keep you engaged during the class. The final isn't hard as long as you understand the lectures that are given. He is a great Chicano Professor and I recommend all to take his class.

Professor Morales is an amazing instructor, he is very caring and passionate about his work. He takes the class on several fun field trips, which are extra credit and he provides other extra credit opportunities on campus. His lectures are never dull, they're always hilarious! Honestly one of the best instructors very caring and he is very easy to communicate with. I have taken him online and in person. Online and in person are almost the same concept all the assignments are structured so well very straight forward.

Awesome class! Essays are a little heavy but I believe thats only because it was for 8 weeks. Besides that, make sure your dates are correct and that you watch the videos.

His class is really easy. Only one quiz. Midterm and finals are super easy because he gives you a document on the module and based on that is your final or midterm. He understands if you have an emergency and asks him to turn in your assignment later. I am glad I took his class. You won't regret it at all!

I took this Chicano Studies class during the winter and it was easy. All you do is 2 quizzes and one final. You get unlimited tries on the final. You also just write biographies on Mexican heroes etc. If you need this class take it with this professor you wont regret it.

best professor i have take he mades lecture fun and interesting. Quiz are based on the lecture and from the book. I also take CH S 007 and I'm planning to take CH S 052

Professor Morales is very passionate about Chicano studies. I really enjoyed his class because everything was under modules so there wasnt any surprises. Assignments are somewhat heavy but they prepare you for the final. I learned a lot and I would definitely recommend.

I took Professor Morales for Chicano Studies 37. It's an online class and all I can say is that I enjoyed his class. Definitely recommend his course for other students.

Passed with an A but was a lot of work since I took the 5 week summer course online. Learning about Aztec and Mayan art was my favorite. Take him! Responds to emails and cares for students success.

Hybrid course is fast past with lots of reading but the Novel(s) are interesting and not boring at all, he does assign questions to each chapter. Essays are involved but nothing you should stress over, MLA format and connects with the current reading. Morales is easy to communicate with and will help! Highly recommend and would take again, Easy A.

Professor Morales is a great instructor and enjoys what he teaches, is clear and straightforward. The work is moderate, however you will learn a lot about the history of what came to be a Chicano(a). I would recommend.

Professor Morales, is the greatest professor in the Chicano department. He is super funny and straight forward with all his lectures. Very organized! Modules open on Monday and assignments are due Sunday night. He is very approachable, so if you are falling behind do not hesitate to reach out to him. Definitely recommend taking his classes!

Best Professor I ever took this class at Los Angeles Mission College for 8 weeks course. Only writing Autobiography and Events Minimum 400 words and 2 sources and 2 Tests and 1 Quiz. All Assignments are open every Monday and Due on Sundays at 11:59 pm. I recommend take this teacher for your requirements and the Discussion are fun.

Honesty Professor Morales was a good professor. We watched historical videos, weekly essays of 400 words each, etc.

Easy A. If you need help or anything email him. Very clear on what he wanted usually gives feedback. Accepted latework. Very easygoing. I would take this class again, I took the accelerated class very easy his notes help a lot. Provides most information about topics looking for sources was easy. Very interesting to learn!!!

Professor Morales is passionate and engaging. The workload is manageable with clear expectations. Though essays are involved, helpful resources like Unstuck AI make study prep a breeze. Definitely a class worth taking.
