Great teacher with clear mind. The smartest professor at seneca. Quick response, fast calculation, and clear-cut answer. Hobbies: TV shows, newspapers, and puzzel-solving, and...always late for class.

no problems here... do your damn homework before coming to class and he will help, otherwise dont expect him to walk you through the course and hand you a good mark. Courses are generally tough so it isnt his fault.

This was my favourite teacher for the semester.He is funny and gets to know his students , they are not just ppl he teachers, i wish all teachers could be like him , (Take some lessons from Morelli plz Shum cause u need all the help u can get.

he is a good teacher, but his tests can be tricky so watchout! If he didn't write the test ask someone who's teacher did because he never even looks at them before handing them out and can test on something he didn't even teach

Expects students to think outside of the box, he does want you to give text book answers - rather think in a rational logical manner so that you are able to answer questions in a clear concise and systematic manner

This teacher is very knowledgable and can explain concepts very well. He gets excited about teaching the lessons and tries to make the material fun and exciting for everyone, but you have to do your work or else you'll bomb his tests!

He is a great teacher. His tests though are easier then some other teachers though. They are though still tricky. Except he relies a little bit to much on the powerpoints. He can answer though any of your questions though and do it great.

Smart,confident,kind of humurous and would like to answer any of your questions. Easy marker, but sometimes his test is kind of tricky. Don't forget,he is a CA, maybe the future target in your career!

he is a good prof. he teaches really good, answers questions but his tests r kind of tricky sometimes. he comes late to his morning classes, like 70% of the time. but still i would take my future subjects with him. he is cool.

this guy really knows his stuff. one of the best @ seneca. he explains well, does the problems on the board (while explaining how you get certain figures), gives reasonable tests, and helps students if they need it. i only wish i had him for the entire semester...

he is so so good, he explains very well, and does questions on the baord with the class, he lets the class understand where everything comes from. The tests and quizes are reasonable and he marks pretty easy, he is not picky. All those that say that he's bad, you guys must be crazy, cause he is the BEST

He reads from powerpoint too; but the difference puts him on the top rate list is that he takes time to explain the powerpoint and combine with questions. Morelli is one of the best professors at Seneca. He works very hard to make students understand the material. He does all the problems in the class and makes sure everyone understands them. If you are smart, by going to his class and paying attention, you will learn a lot and you should leaget an "A".

Classes are boring if you have done your homework. If you don't do homework, he will do the problems in class anyway. Tests are fair with compliance with classwork. Midterm and final exams are very surprising!!! There is a lack of preparation. The class material is very narrow. There is a high probability of getting "C" in this course with him.

Mr. Morelli is ONE of the best accounting teachers in seneca. He makes everything easy to learn if you actually read your book. Give this guy alot of credit for writing and explaining clearly the hwk questions assigned in the book in the board. I would like to take him again which i will :D

He is the most favorite professor I had in Seneca. He is very helpful and explain everything very clear. He not only solves the problems with you, but also guides you the way to analyze and solve problems.

Explanation is very clear and interesting, but tests are tricky. And I want to tell: Thank you, Mr.Morelli.

He is alright. Does problems from the textbook thoroughly. Sometimes doesn't post the solutions for problems. Does more practice problems than theory. If you like that then take him. Overall, he's nice and marks fairly. Final is hard not easy compared to the midterms.

Nice and fun teacher. He is also a last-minute type of person. Reading the chapters prior to class is recommended. Lots of self studying involved. Also, he's only 28 or 29 this year, at least that's what he told us. Good luck!

Prof. Morelli always entered the class with enthusiasm. No class was dull and he made sure everyone was understanding the topic by answering questions together in class. You didn't need to do much reading of the textbook if you went to his class and did the assigned questions. Would recommend.

Professor John Morelli is excellent, talented and energetic. His classes are always funny, interesting and full of enthusiasm. He encourages students study hard and exactly absorb the knowledge. He teaches students know that knowledge is far more important than marks, but he also give students deserved marks. Very appreciated to Mr. Morelli.

He gives hardmarker but easy going in class. He's funny, approachable, naughty, but sometimes moody. He can lecture well, and tried to simplify complicated lessons. But he's getting better at making his tests easier, but still tough! Overall, his class is fun with all the 1950's feedback but he has to tame his swearing and indecent jokes a bit...

You will never fall to sleep in his class.

Very helpful professor with enthusiasm to keep you awake during long lectures. Attend every class and you will pass, and you will not be bored even in a class like Auditing.

John Morelli is one of the best profs at Seneca. His lectures are great. You never feel sleepy in his class. He's a very smart person and he's also one of the funniest profs. I loved his class and will definitely take any other courses that I can with him. His teaching style is wonderful.

Clearly very knowledgeable, passionate and engaging. Enjoyed his lectures, learned a lot. Hard course and material. Sometimes, he uses profanities in class. Tests are long and comprehensive.

Just attend and listen to him and read, you'll be fine.

Great professor! I transferred to IAF degree program later, but still, I would say that he is the best. He gave a very clear outline and helped us with many practice questions.

He knows what he is doing. His teaching style is awesome. I liked his sense of humor. He doen't pass any topic until he makes sure everybody is confident about that.

The Seneca community is mourning the loss of John Morelli, after a brave battle with lung cancer. He will be deeply missed by his students and colleagues . A visitation on Thursday, Feb. 2, with a funeral mass ton Friday, Feb. 3. . Seneca flags will fly at half-mast on Feb. 3 in honour of Mr. Morelli. May he rest in peace!
