3 tests (45 questions each) and a final (65 questions) are the only grades for the class. Attendance is mandatory otherwise he'll start taking points off. You can easily get an A if you memorize the 100+ question practice exams he gives you.

Loved having Professor Norwood for BLAW! He was so funny and genuinely passionate about what he was teaching. I was scared to take this class because I heard it was hard, but Norwood uploaded practice tests before each exam which were key in doing well. So just make sure to put in the time to study those practice tests and you'll be gucci

Norwood is a good professor & I truly enjoyed having him. Despite this, I feel like I learned more in Greenhaws review sessions than I ever did in Norwoods lectures.

I loved having Mr Norwood for Honors Business Law. He was very engaging and funny. I loved how he made the class interesting even for people who wouldn't normally care about the class. He explains things very well and it is very easy to approach him outside of class if you need help. As long as you study and show up to class, you will pass.

The practice questions are the exact questions on the test. You get 3 free absences, and 3 makeup absences (easily made up in his office by reading a couple of short case studies.) You can miss a total of 20 out of 200 questions on all 4 tests (made up of 45, 45, 45, and 65 questions) and get an A. I missed 22 questions.

Take Norwood for BLAW! Hands down one of the best professors who genuinely cares about what he's teaching. The practice tests are the exact same questions on the test so all you have to do is study those. However the final was a lot different than its practice tests so watch out for that. Also, go to office hours for candy.

Your grade in this class relies on tests and your attendance. He doesn't accept doctors notes and only allows three misses and won't budge no matter what. You can opt out of taking attendance as a grade but due to the difficulty of the tests you'll need it.

Apparently hes good at teaching business law, but not commercial law. Avoid at all costs. Hes funny, but its at the expense of students. The grade is based on three exams and (optional) attendance. The tests are so tough though that you need the 50 attendance points but you only have 3 skips before you lose the points. Wish I would have dropped.

You have to go to class or you wont pass because he takes off points after 4 misses, but honestly not that bad just listen in class and study the practice questions that they send out before the test really well, and you will do great.

Norwood is a good guy, but his honors course is difficult because he does not write the tests. Definitely go to the BLAW reviews by other teachers otherwise the tests could be difficult. The class is easy besides that, the only reason I got a B is because I was sick out of my mind for the 3rd exam and did not do great because of it. NO ex-credit

He is very lecture heavy, but he is very very funny so it doesnt feel long & miserable. You are graded solely on three tests and a final, without anything else to cushion your grade. However, he is ALWAYS available outside of class. Youre given test reviews and guides to help for tests. Kind, funny, and a good professor! DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!!!

Honors isn't best; take Greenhaw instead. Norwood used to be better, but he is no longer in charge of making the tests and doesn't seem to have much background knowledge beyond what is on the slide. He also did no test review sessions. Tests are the only grades; there are no clicker points. He's never practiced AR law, just LA law decades ago.

Norwood is a great teacher who makes class entertaining. If you show up for this class and do a light to moderate amount of studying the powerpoint notes, you'll pass with an A. Sample test questions are a great study tool. Fun class, fun teacher, pretty easy A.

Go to class or you will have no clue what's going on! I loved having Professor Norwood. He is funny and enjoyable to listen to during lectures. Your grade is based only off of tests, but he uploads practice tests that have a lot of the same questions as past tests. As long as you study and actually pay attention during class, you will be golden.
