I love history, and Mr. Paris makes me love history even more! He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is very helpfull and a fair grader. He makes everything very easy to understand, and the way he grades and sets up tests is perfect.
its been two years since i m in cod and this teacher is one of the worest of them. he is really unclear what he is saying dont help much two thumbs down :-(
Take this teacher. Take this teacher. Take this teacher. Take this teacher. You shall not regret it. If you participate and study, he gives options on his tests, you cannot lose unless you A) sleep in class B) don't care, so care!
This is one of the easiest courses I've ever taken! Does nothing but lecture but makes what he says interesting. Take notes and study a little for the test and you can't help but get an A!
This is one of the best teachers ever. He never goes by the book always by his lectures and he never takes attendens, he does give home work but its easy. Dont miss any class take alot of notes and review them for tests.final paper 5 pages long really easy class to pass if you drop TO SAD TO BE YOU!
This is by fat the best teacher that I have ever had! I wish that he taught more classes! You dont need the book. Tests and based on his lecture. Then the day be4 that test he tells you what you need to know. He so nice and is more then happy to go over info w/ you. Must take this teacher!!!
He is the best teacher that I have ever had. He caused me to fall in love with history. His lectures are captivating and inspiring. I want to take more classes with him.
Mr. Paris is very nice and helpful. He lectures the whole time. But he makes it interesting. I didn't really like history before this class but he made me actually enjoy learning about history. Tests come from your notes. He also tells you what you need to know for the test the day before. I would recommend taking this teacher, you won't be sorry!
Very knowledgable. Knows what he's talking about. Class is lecture, but interesting. friendly, helpful, good guy.
knows a lot, lectures a lot, tests are VERY EASY, take this professor if you have any interest in history
Loved his class...easy tests and homework. Just pay attention to the lectures and you will do fine. Have to do a 6 page paper on a book you have to read on your own...which is easy too. Take his class...
Definitely did not like this class... hate History so that's probably why. And his entire class is ALL lecture or video. I hate lectures so it's hard for me to pay attention... he's a nice guy, but it was hard for me. His tests are really hard, very little M.C. and about ALL essay & short essay. Talks over time limit, get out 5 mins late usually
He is very passionate about history.
He is very interesting to listen to. He knows his stuff and makes the lecture interesting. If you take good notes you will do fine on the test. Only complaint is that the test is only about 10 MC and the rest essay!!!!!
I don't know how people can say that they liked this class. His lectures are so boring and he usually goes off on some subject, loses track of time and you end up getting out late. Don't get me wrong he is a nice guy but, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. It took all my will power not to sleep during his class, and I actually LOVE HISTORY.
HE IS A HORRIBLE TEACHER. he should not be a teacher!!!
LOVED HIM! You can tell he really enjoys the subject matter. He makes geeky jokes, and is super nice. Even though tests are mostly essay, if you come to class, do hw and take the notes, you WILL get an A! He does tend to go a little off topic, and sometimes goes over class time by 2 min. But compared to some of the bores I have had, well worth it!
Dont buy the book for this class because any homework that is assigned the mini letters can be found online. You have to attend all the lectures to get a good grade but he the class is easy and he tells you everthing that you need to know before a test. He loves history and his lectures are long but the tests are easy as long as you take notes!
Nice guy but i don't recommend him at all. Ridiculous amount of info on each test. Tests have very little multiple choice and mostly essay. He grades harsh. Test review consists of him quickly trying to tell you what is on the test and you can't possibly write it all down because it's so much. I am a 4.0 student and will probably lose it now.
I took him for History 1120 and 1130 and he is the only history professor worth having at COD. He makes it easy to come to class and he makes history interesting again. Also remember that his tests are easy, you do not need to know everything. Just make sure you study the units that are easiest to understand for urself and you will do fine on them.
Mr. Paris is awesome! He loves history and his passion for it is apparent in each of his classes. I took him for the American History classes up until WWII and I enjoyed going to his class each week. His tests are easy, only 10 multiple choice, a few short answer and an essay. take notes from lectures and you'll do great.
I love history, but he is so boring. He;s extremely geeky, and just plain boring. The class is very easy, and he gives assignments regularly. I don't recommend him.
Great professor! talks a lot but very helpful.
He is a great teacher! He really knows his stuff and is very passionate for his subject. His tests are easy ( I got all A's on them. He gives you a study guide. There are regular assignments but he gives a week to turn them in. I definitly recommend him!
Mr. Paris is a very passionate man about history, but it very boring. He gives out these pointless assignments EVERY week that take forever. Plus he doesn't get around to grading them for 3+ weeks. Tests are easy but are all essay questions. Do NOT buy the book. Haven't read it once. I wouldn't take him again.
Tried to take the Honors section but it got cancelled. So I took the regular section instead. He kept us late EVERY day! Besides that, he is an excellent Prof. and knows the material extremely well! There are lots of writing assignments (1-2 pgs) and the tests are mostly essay. It's not easy but its not too hard. I got an A. I recommend this class!
Great teacher loves, the subject, I signed up the honors class that got cancelled, one assignment every week but given a week, make sure to show up for reviews and every day for notes, He kept us late once and that was a review day other then that we were out on time every time! Will be taking him again!
He gives alot of homework that is worth little points. Too much work for hardly any points, plus he grades very harsh. I dont recomend him at all.
I took this class during the summer so I can understand how little time he had to teach a 16 week subject. There was alot of homework and three tests all mostly handwritten essays. He was very passionate about his subject and taught it perfectly. Fantastic teacher; if you're not lazy and put forth the effort it's an easy A.
Great teacher! Yes, lectures may get a little tedious after a while, but he knows how to explain things very clearly in ways you can understand. A little nerdy but very helpful! Tests are breeze, just a lot of writing. Some assignments are long but not hard. Would definitely recommend him.
The actual work is not too hard, however he is a ridiculously hard grader! I took an online class and it was almost impossible to get full points! In order to get full points, you must go beyond what he expects of you. Objective exams answers are found online if you look hard enough. Essay midterm and final, + discussions, objective/essay exams
If you're looking for a really hard online class with tons of reading and writing, look no further. I got an A but it cost me much blood, sweat, and tears. TONS OF WRITING! Objective exams are ridiculously hard and seem to try to trick you. Essay exams are pretty simple but take 3 hours. Ugh! Midterm and Final papers each 5-7 pgs long. Have fun...
Online class so I can't really comment on lectures. Lots of work here. Two 5-7 page papers. Three essay exams, three multiple choice exams, a bunch of discussion board posts required. He is a tough grader, but I put a lot of effort in, and got a good grade out of it. I had to read the whole book, but it's enjoyable, and I don't really like History
Online class is good but requires WORK. Paris seeks orginality and to be grammatically correct! The unit test can seem like trick questions. I did enjoy the class, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO READ 4-5 chapters at a time. Barely enough time to finish online unit tests and def no time to go back and check answers, more than enough time for essay tests.
By far the best college professor I've had! Learned so much in his class. Listen to his lectures and take good notes, and you'll for sure do good on the tests. The book is only used for reference, he says to read it but I never did & still got an A. He comes to class everyday well prepared & knows his stuff. Take him!
A really great professor. He knows his subject and is always willing to help. The tests aren't too bad and you don't have to know everything.
Hands down worst teacher at COD. if your doing something other then looking at him he will stop what he is doing and call you out in class. He gives alot of homework that is worth little points. Too much work for hardly any points, plus he grades very harsh especially on his bogus tests. If your a suck up and really participate ALOT you'l do well.
A really fine teacher...he will make you do homework but as long as you do it on time you will be fine...always explains what needs to be done and is willing to make adjustments as needed...tests are simple and yet at the same time I learned something when taking his class...need us history? This is a man worth taking the class with
Mixed emotions about this teacher... he is very passionate about the class and made me laugh a couple times and he is interesting to listen to. but the class has a lot of homework assignment and if you dont do your homework, dont take this class... the tests are straight forward. he puts the study guide online before hand
Best professor yet! Mr. Paris definitely makes the class challenging, but he is by no means unfair. His expectations are made very clear, and while they are high expectations he does everything in his power to help you succeed. All assignments come back with extremely detailed and useful feedback and he is always readily available to help.
Professor Paris is one of the nicest professors I know. He is a tough grader, but he always gives you both negative and positive feedback. This class was a bit hard, but if you work really hard you should get a good grade!
John Paris is passionate, good natured, and goes out of his way to assist his students.
Want to learn something? Take John Paris' class. The homework is designed in a way that drills information into your brain so you're able to retain information for the tests. While the classroom isn't the most engaging, it is what you of make it. Prof. Paris was enthusiastic and always stayed after to answer questions. Nice guy too, take his class.
Only one of the textbooks is actually needed for assignments. He is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of assignments.
Pretty nice guy. His class is very easy to get an A in. There are a few negatives about his class. The homework is very time consuming and you don't even get that many points for it. His class is pretty boring. He lectures the entire time. Other than those problems the tests are easy and he doesn't grade hard at all.
Boring repetitive assignments, narrowly graded to fit Mr. Paris' preconceived ideas. Discussion posts have to be written as essay exams - no real discussion among students or with instructor. Couldn't wait for course to end - tedious uninspired course.Textbook has typical liberal left agenda.
Without a doubt the best teacher I've had. He really knows what he is talking about, and how to teach it. If you actually go to class & listen/take notes on his lectures you will learn so much. Homework is tedious (allows late work) but it always relates back to what we are learning in class. If you want to really learn, he is the teacher for you.
He knows what he's talking about and explains well but not in a timely matter. He rambles a lot sometimes taking the entire class to recap what he covered in the last class. If you pay attention well in lectures then he's your guy but if you lose focus easy i wouldn't recommend him
Genuinely a great guy, he is respectful, helpful and an all around great guy. He is extremely knowledgeable in his area of study and it he shows that in the classroom. He is willing to help and do anything in his power he can to make this class work for you. He is a lenient grader and is passionate for History.
He cares about his student and very enthusiastic about teaching the course. The homework was lengthy but it taught great lesson. The tests were over everything he talked about in class, not in the homework. Overall i think he was a great professor!
This is a great teacher who loves what he does. He is a bit corny, but you'll warm up to him. His classes consist of PowerPoint presentations mainly, so take notes on ALL the slides. As long as you do the homework and spend time studying you can pass this class.
Mr. Paris loves history and wants you to be as interested in it as he is. He has forgotten more about WWII than you will ever know. Take all the notes he gives you because that is what is on the test. I did not read textbook at all- just took lots of notes and participated and got an A. The book report is a bit tough but not grade destroying.
All he does is lecture. ALL FREAKING CLASS. He talks and talks and talks. He usually goes five minutes over every class, and he makes super corny jokes. Class is painful to sit through. Homework assignments are tedious and repetitive but not too difficult and he's a pretty easy grader. It's a easy class but is it worth it?
Mr. Paris is a pretty good teacher and he knows his stuff. The only downside is how much he talks. He will go on and on if people dont start packing up. He does make some corny jokes but some of them are funny. As for grading its pretty simple, if you give examples in the homework you will get a good grade. pretty easy to get an B in here.
Enjoyed class. He's very helpful willing to look over work. BUT if u struggled w/ENG 1102 this class is not for you. Midterm and final are essays. 18 discussion posts. 3 essay exams w 2 essay Q's each. must read textbook. If u like writing, reading and USHIS you'll like it. Felt learned true USHIS. u read insightful documents from the time period.
He's alright. The homework isn't hard, the test are on the power points he presents in class. He sucks at updating grades, takes forever to grade papers and homework. His classes are very boring, because they are lectures. Overall, if you can pay attention for 50 mins take his class, but if you can't don't do it.
I had Mr. Paris for music and I liked it. It was a long class, but that was just because it was four hours long. It was interesting, but because he's also a history teacher, he jncorporates history into it, which I don't like. He gets easily distracted and loves talking about his family. He's funny, and the class was interesting.
Professor Paris was easily one of my favorite professors. He taught me so much and his lectures are really great. He talks for a really long time but the lectures aren't boring if you are interested in American history. I thoroughly enjoyed his class and iIreally recommend him.
Mr. P truly cares the students. He goes out of his way to reach out to anyone that struggles on any of the testshwk. People complains that he lectures all class, but that's really the only way to teach history efficiently and effectihttvely. He knows his material and his tests are based right off his lectures. Extra credit if you watch any movie.
he was a okay teacher. was good at times but sometimes some work was hard and so uncalled for. i would only take him if you are good at history or else no way!
DO NOT TAKE IF HISTORY IS NOT YOUR SPECIALTY. This class was awfully boring. Assigns homework every week and makes you answer very long, lengthy questions and also demands that you print all your work to turn in. His lectures are very long and the power points suck. He also assigns a 10 page book report at the end of the term that is irrelevant.
Professor Paris is an extremely nice person who will do what he can to ensure you pass. The lectures are long and boring sometimes, but honestly how else are you going to learn about things that happened in the past? Take notes and study for tests and you will pass. I would definitely take again just because I liked Mr. Paris so much
He is a decent history teacher but gets off on tangents that occasionally impact the class flow. He loves history so he just loves to talk about it. You will learn a ton from him but not all of it matters for exams. His tests are straight forward and easy if you do the study guide.
He is the greatest history teacher I've ever had. He is so passionate about history which makes his lectures interesting. He is also pretty hilarious and he'll relate some jokes to things that have happened in history. Overall- best history teacher ever. TAKE HIM FOR YOUR CLASS!!!
He's an amazingly kind person who goes out of his way to help you. However he goes on tangents quite a bit but he does that to ensure that you know the subject. Very easy grader
I took his History 1130 and I really enjoyed his class even though his lectures were long and sometimes he got off topic but other than that he is an amazing teacher who is truly passionate for what he does. I would definitely recommend him only if u like to take notes and if u aren't a slacker who doesn't like to show up for class half of the time
Even though Mr. Paris is extremely knowledgeable and provides lots of information during his lectures I would not recommend taking his course. Majority of his lectures and the information he provides are slightly opinionated and he isn't that great at answering questions.... Does not interact with students.
Great professor. His classes seem to fill up quickly so if you are thinking of taking him, sign up early. He lectures a lot and knows his stuff. He does pressure the class to engage in conversation. E. G. "Okay and what else..." He does tend to go over class time so keep that in mind if you're thinking of taking a class afterwards. Great guy!
Long lectures and lots of sleeping.
Mr. Paris is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to History. His lectures are pretty boring and seem to last forever but I think that's a part of every history class. Leaves lots of feedback on his weekly assignments and his tests are moderate in difficulty.
He was an decent professor. He's nice and understanding. Pretty boring class but not too difficult. Long lectures and a lot of homework. He does offer extra credit and is there to help you if you're having trouble with an assignment. However, if you don't like history, I wouldn't recommend this class.
Easy class for me
Professor Paris is overall a good teacher, he does give a homework assignment every week which could be pretty lengthy. His lectures are long and confusing so if you don't go to class, it will be hard for you to pass because all of the test is based on what he talks about in class. Overall, good teacher just be prepared for the long lectures!!
Great guy, very passionate, if you don't enjoy history, don't take him. All tests are completely based on lectures, show up and take decent notes and you will do fine. Assignment papers are given every week and get lengthy. Very fair grader on tests and on assignments as well as gives good feedback. There is a 10 page term paper due at the end
Mr. Paris is a wonderful teacher, he presents material in a way that's easily understood, and is always available to help those who are struggling. He gives lots of extra credit opportunities that are available until the end of the semester and is very understanding of any issues students might have.
Professor paris is kind of quirky but very nice. He gives out long reading assignments for you do written analyses for every week. His lectures can become very boring because he likes to go on tangents and class frequently runs past the set end time. Good prof, fairly easy, lots of homework, boring lectures.
Please take you tests on the day the are given. Very contradictive in his words. He clearly said on this first day of class, "if you ever experience a death in the family, which I hope no one does I will make an exception to any work including tests". I went in a week later to take the test an he told I ran out of time, and it was to late.
He is a great teacher and very passionate about what he teaches He can sometimes run through on the time scale but he always wants to get what needs to be done. He uses power points which make the material very easy to learn. His tests aren't hard study alittle.. He will always help out just ask for it. Only hard thing in his class 10 page paper.
I took him for History since 1865 and actually enjoyed the class. He's very smart and passionate what he teaches but tends to talk a little more than he should and runs out of time. The only thing I found hard was writing the final term paper. He gives quite a bit of extra credit. Otherwise a good professor.
Normally I do not like history, but he made it interesting. You only talk about a couple of PP slides each class, but you actually TALK about the material. Don't just memorize dates and locations.
He really knows his stuff. His lectures will make you fall asleep but he really does cover the material. I didnt like the 10 page term paper, that was the most difficult thing in the class. Tests arent too difficult and contain essays
3 tests, 11 lengthy assignments, and a 10 page term paper that requires you to read a book. Lectures on a single slide for an hour, so make sure you take some decent notes and bring something to keep you occupied
He always runs over time, so if you have a class after his, give yourself more than 10 minutes to get there. His tests are based on his lectures. You only need the book for the homework assignments. His lectures are pretty boring, and there are only a couple in class discussions. Class isn't difficult as long as you show up and take notes.
I don't know why many people say the lectures were boring. I thought they were extremely interesting and I learned so much about history. The assignments are lengthy but easy. The paper is about a novel you must read and it has to be 10 pages, but he does grade fairly. I want to take another class with him, great professor.
He really loves history! Great teacher. Weekly homework assignments are very time consuming. Tests are off of lectures, so take good notes. Must read a novel and write a 10pg paper. Overall a fairly easy class as long as you do the work. He does offer extra credit. He is very big on turning things in on time and will doc you if it is late.
Professor John Paris is by far one of the best History teachers I've ever had. He's passionate, he cares about his students, he's extremely well versed in American History, and he overall has a great personality. The one criticism of his class was how many homework essays we had to do almost every week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND picking his class.
Professor Paris gives interesting lectures and clearly cares about his students and U.S. history. He gives weekly assignments that are not tested in exams. This busywork is frustrating. If you don't mind spending an hour or two outside of class each week, it should be an easy course. He assigns a term paper and offers feedback during office hours.
He is the best history teacher I have ever had. He makes history fun, gives you a lot of time before assignments, is an easy grader, and the tests are very easy if you do the study guide. The final is only over the last unit and is very easy because it is the shortest unit! He is super fun and nice and gives great lectures!
Very lecture heavy. Will give out assignments a week before they are due. He does have a final term paper that is a BEAST
Doesnt give much lead way on turning stuff in even just a day late and takes forever to grade things.
Very lecture heavy, he usually only has one powerpoint slide for his notes per class, but it is very vague because it needs to cover all the material per lecture, which can be frustrating. He very much wants his students to succeed, and is willing to work with them. His lectures do run about 5ish minutes long like a 1/3rd of the time though
Mr. Paris is a very caring professor. His lectures consists of taking notes from a PowerPoint he shows and discusses. There are assignments once a week and can be lengthy. I missed about two assignments but I still received an A. The 10-page paper is pretty doable. His exams are easy too if you look over the study guide! :)
He is so smart and makes you really think. If you like contemplating history, he is your guy!
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Very enthusiastic and knowledgable and his assignments really get you to think. I've written some of my best papers in this class. Not too much homework. Lectures the whole time but he is quick and to the point, answers questions, and covers everything you need for tests plus study guides. But 10page paper
This was my favorite class this semester! Teaches the material very nicely and shows his love for the topic. Tests are easy if you study and homework is easy just time consuming. I recommend this class and teacher to anyone looking for a history class.
Mr. Paris is a great teacher. He always answers my emails in a timely manner and is always willing to help. Great guy!
Mr. Paris is a very good History professor. He would record lectures and have us take notes twice a week. Once a week, we would have a 2-page paper assignment either from the Two Sides book or he'll just ask us questions regarding the subject we're on. Offers extra credit, communicates very well. If you struggle with History, this is your guy!
Great professor! I'm taking his class as a pre-rec or ISU, and Mr. Paris makes the class easy and interesting! Sometimes he can get off track and let's us out of class a few minutes late, but it's honestly fine. He cares a lot about his job and students, and is passionate about history. He's also incredibly helpful in and out of class! 9.5/10!
I took this class as a pre-rec for my major at ISU, Mr. Paris was great! The class is interesting, but lecture and note heavy. It requires a little bit of reading, but it isn't anything too painful. Worksheets and discussion boards are due every week, and there's an occasional unit test. There's also a term paper that he stresses is important.
Great Professor! If you show up to class everyday and participate in the discussions then you will definitely get an A. It is a lecture class however he makes the lectures quite interesting. The tests are also very easy.
i took his latin american history class but it wasnt an option. super educated and passionate about what hes teaching. he is very understanding of his position as a white professor teaching a latin american studies class and respects the history very much. i wasnt the best at turning stuff in but he isnt strict on due dates. great guy overall!
Probably one of the most informative classes I have taken. You do have to work for your grade as he is very picky when grading homework. Heavy reading along with analysis questions every week. Class is lecture heavy and requires full engagement. Very passionate about history and overall a really good teacher. Effort is required but worth it.
He is a great professor. You just should be ready to study for exams and do weekly assignments which is not that hard.
If you like to sit in class and do nothing but get lectured to, if you like to have to turn in an assignment each week that takes 3+ hours, If you like to have to go to class because he doesn't post anything online, If you like writing a 10 page paper on top of all of that, take this professor! have fun! Oh and its just a 3 credit/hr.
I absolutely loved this man. I took him for several classes because I love history. If you are there to listen and engage he is wonderful. It's like have a conversation instead of a lecture. With that said you best enjoy the topic his class covers because you will be writing about it.
Overall good guy but he often assigned assignments during the weekend and expected them to be done by that Wednesday. The thing that I noticed the most is that he really didn't care what students did in his class. Very lecture heavy and often very condescending. On top of the assignments THERE WAS A BIG TERM PAPER.
Professor Paris was a seriously harsh grader. Be prepared for a midterm and final that you are tightly timed on( clearly not enough time to do what he was asking) and to know all the important people within the course material and what their beliefs are. Don't take this class if you think you can slack off, you cant. I had a 4.0 before this class.
i took this class thinking it was going to be easy and it was not. there are weekly assignments that are pretty long but also all the material is given through lectures, which is all he does. if you don't show up, you're missing a good chunk of material. I will say he knows what he's talking about, super passionate about history in general
Overall Prof. Paris was an ok teacher. He was very lecture heavy and would review the previous lecture in the current class, like was living in class on loop in some ways. The assigned homework required reading 3-4 different sources per assignment. It was expected to be super thorough with each assignment, but it was hard to keep track sometimes.
I would never take awful never respond to your email. He is tougher than you would think. Picky about every little thing i bet he is passionate about history but for general education i would not recommend just awful
Prof. Paris had to make you read at least 4 chapters and write 2 to 3 paragraphs of what you read in a discussion. He also doesn't reply to emails even though he clearly says he would reply. Another thing is that he is a harder grader on the discussion assignments. I suggest not to take this class if you are good at history.
He is very passionate about history. If you are too, I highly suggest taking his class. However, if you are not, the constant lectures and long assignments will probably bore you. There are about two assignments a week. One takes ~15 minutes, the other ~2 hours. There is also a term paper. The long assignments are not hard, just time-consuming.
I have taken two different classes with him in the past and he was amazing! He was nice and understanding. There are different things due a week, like a discussion board and an assignment but as long as you do the work, read the assignments, and pay attention, you'll be fine!
There's a discussion board and an assignment due every week, which acquired you to read heavily. The class lectures last for the entire time with he only over one or two power slides. These slides are not provided on blackboard and only in class which is harder to take notes. For an elective class, it has unnecessary schoolwork.
Be prepared to spend entire evenings trying to do the weekly assignments, and if you're not a history buff you will more than likely spend the entire lecture looking at the clock. Even when class was over, he would constantly make everyone wait at the door because he was still talking about the powerpoints even though no one was taking any notes?
Mr. Paris was a decent professor. He had more cons than pros. He always goes 15-20 minutes over his lecture and barely gets though one slide per lecture. His assignments and discussion posts are easy but he never used the book at all the entire semester. I would avoid him and take someone better.
Professor Paris has a specific teaching approach, but engaging with it pays off. Lectures are informative, and staying on top of readings and assignments is key. I found Unstuck study helpful for prep, alongside the textbook and class discussion.
Really nice guy and you can tell he enjoys what he's teaching. Class is very lecture heavy but if you take good notes you'll be okay, the tests are basically exactly what's covered in class. He offers 10 points of extra credit in the 'assignments' category but nothing more.
a lot of assignments weekly hw and discussion boards. hard grader. nice and passionate about history but goes over time every single day if your class ends at 1045 expect to leave at 1055. you have a book and a ten page paper due at the end of the semester too
He is a very tough grader- I never got higher than a B on a paper. There is a discussion, reply and essay part of each unit, and there are 4 units. Prompts are interesting but there are so many of them
Professor Paris is a fine teacher. Lectures every class all period, stays on the same slide. Goes 5-10 min over every time. Nice guy, and the material isnt very hard if you just pay attention and take notes. Also a 10 page paper due at the end of the semester so if thats not your thing dont take him. theres probably better history teachers to take.
