1 paper, group presentation, and 3 exams (25 questions). He will not post lecture slides online so attending class is a must. He does not give out study guides but the test is based off on the lecture slides (too broad) but does offer extra credit opportunities. Reading the books is not necessary to pass but will help.
Professor Park is a great professor! His lectures are really good. He explains well and gives examples that make sense. There's pretty much no need to read the book if you show up to class and pay attention. Just know that he doesn't upload his slides online, so make sure to be ready to take notes. He's very nice, so don't be afraid to ask any ?s.
There's 3 tests total, which are very easy because it's short and based on his slides. He doesn't upload his slides online, so you have to take notes. Participation and attendance matters. There are some group discussions and 1 group presentation of current event related to business or computer science. Overall, this class is an easy A.
Overall, he is a good professor. Tests are easy enough, class is fun and interesting. One thing that really bugged me about his class is his grading. He deems a perfect assignment as a 95%, and reserves only the next 5% for those that go above and beyond what is asked of them. This makes gettings an "A" at 93% relatively difficult and all on tests.
Awesome Professor. Interesting lectures. 3 test in total. The test is based on slides. Reading is a must due to frequent reading quizzes. 1 presentation but with a group. Overall fun class. Would take again.
A realy smart philosephy professer , he knows the material so good . Explains perfectly and exams are straightforward. I got an -A . Never miss the class and remeber the group discussions.
This professor is very full of himself. He demands respect, but does not offer the same in return. He grades on technicalities and, while you may get an A for demonstrating your knowledge in a paper, you will get a C on an exam for a small word choice. This professor makes it difficult to get an A for no good reason.
He gave a lot of work but that wasn't the problem. The problem was he wasn't very helpful. I was having trouble with some of the material and the tests so I emailed him for help. He made me feel stupid and basically told me there was "nothing he could do" to help me pass the class.
He gave a lot of extra credit. Hes very knowledgeable. His lectures are interesting. I learn a lot. Take him, you can pass the class easily.
What a terrible professor, used an example which included natty ice, extremely unprofessional and a very biased grader. He asks for a non-confidential survey mid-semester and has truck test questions.
Dr. Park had to be THE MOST understanding professor that I had last semester. We had 3 exams, a short paper, and a recorded presentation. There was no homework which made the course relieving but he added the paper and presentation so that our grades werent solely based off exams. I actually gained a lot of knowledge and laughs from this course.
Class is pretty simple and he lectures very well. Exams are on his lectures but still a good idea to read. I had differing political opinions than him but he still gave me a good grade which was nice. He wasn't biased towards his own beliefs which is rare to find. Good luck asking for help, he made me feel dumb when I did. Good prof overall though
Park is an okay professor. While his syllabus and lectures are clear, he is also patronizing and dismissive towards his students. I would recommend his class if you want a class with low homework and the occasional exam/paper/presentation. However, do not take this class if you are someone who likes extra points through smaller assignments.
This class requires a lot of reading and paying attention. Professor Park has 3 exams, 1 paper, and 1 group presentation. He gives quizzes after every reading. He is a very tough grader and expects his students to push themselves to work hard to pass. He only gives 2 extra credits per the semester. Hes pretty cool but I dont recommend. lol.
WORST PROFESSOR OF MY LIFE!!!! I only took professor Parks class for credits, I did not realize how difficult of a grader he is until he graded my paper and did multiple grammar and punctuation errors. He has no sympathy for his students whatsoever. His class is based off of his syllabus. Be aware of random pop up quizzes almost every class.
Not the best professor at Sac State although I will give it to him to having clear lectures but his grading is very tough. He offers quizzes at the beginning of each class so if you dont show up you wont pass.
I had assumed this professor would be straightforward, but unfortunately, he is very challenging. He offers quizzes worth a good percentage towards your grade. His papers are crucial for your grade. He also makes explicit unprofessional remarks to use as his examples. I only recommend taking this class if you are a Philosophy major.
Overall, professor park is a fantastic professor, but he has a complex teaching style. Like any other class, this class requires lots of reading, quizzes at the beginning of each class, heavy note-taking, 3 exams, 1 paper, and 1 group project. Therefore, you must attend almost every class to pass.
Dont take him! His lectures are hard to understand and he is not helpful at all if you are struggling. Philosophy is a tough class and he does not make it any easier. Several students in my course had to drop because of how difficult he makes it for everyone to pass. Unless, you're the next Confucius, good luck.
Professor Park has unrealistic expectations for his students. What should be a relatively straight forward course has now become my biggest stressor. This will be the reason I develop gray hair at the age of 20. He is not helpful and even if you were the next biggest philosopher I’m sure he would find a way to justify giving you a bad grade.
Please don't take this Professor. He deducts points on assignments and doesn't explain why. His PowerPoint videos are old and unclear. I only took this class as a last resort, and I regret it. Just a horrible experience. I left this class confused and stressed. I really tried and it seems like it didn't matter. PLEASE avoid this class... AWFUL
Don't take if you can avoid. Crazy ego problem. You must call him "Doctor." He asks you to argue against philosophers who have been around hundreds of years and then marks you down if he can think of a counter argument to your argument. If I could out-argue Aristotle they would probably be studying me and not Aristotle. He is extremely un-flexible.
DO NOT TAKE! He responds to your emails with a simple, 'reread the instructions' when you ask for clarity. I have received A's in all my classes before him; I barely held on to a B. His lectures are posted on Youtube and outdated. If you are taking this class for a requirement for Art or Humanities I HIGHLY suggest you find another class.
Worst professor I have ever taken. Not helpful in anyway. His lectures and videos are so outdated and difficult. Don't take him, you will feel like you're drowning in his class. Discussions and papers are a big chunk of your grade. Just avoid this class, it was a terrible experience.
His quizzes are easy as long as you read his material. His lectures are confusing since he puts himself in old philosophers shoes.
I enjoyed this class. I found the material very interesting, and the lectures were helpful. Study the lecture material, take notes, etc. and you'll do fine. I didn't think the tests were too hard, and this class was not stressful for me. Decent workload for an online class. Would recommend.
He is an extremely tough grader on assignments. Don't take this class because he is very rude. His lecture videos are a bit confusing and outdated. I did not enjoy this class at all. I regret taking him, because I actually enjoy philosophy. He belittles students and responds to you as if you are beneath him.
I felt that Professor Park was excellent when it came to teaching style and in his ability to convey materials. His lectures were interesting and thought provoking. I enjoyed the analogies he used to try to help us understand the point being made. Take good notes during lectures and read the readings and you'll have no problems passing the class
Listen to his videos and add notes to his outlines. Online discussions are tedious. He required two specific argumentative discussion posts weekly. His lecturesare the most helpful. His two midterms and final exams were mult choice/fill blank. He grades hard, and I would say unfairly, on papers. That's why he isn't rated "awesome." haha
Professor Park is a nice professor. His lectures are straight forward and interesting and I feel that I have learned a lot in my first philosophy class. The only things I'd say is to have your textbook on the first day of class and that your grade is only based on quizzes and tests.
Professor was not bad, quiz every class on the reading and lectures were good.
Solid class nothing too special. Just do the readings or read online summaries of the reading and the class was a breeze.
In PHIL6, you will not pass unless you attend the lectures. The readings were really hard for me to understand so the only way I was able to comprehend the material was through Professor Park's lectures. Overall, if you are willing to participate and put in the work then you should pass this class.
The Professor is respectful and helpful when it comes to understand the lecture.
2 point quizzes every class for attendance/reading checks. Most were T/FThe rest of the class was a power point that explained the reading in depth. Test's were not cumulative. 3 tests + a short interview exam were 85% of the grade. The prof. was always willing to work with students when they had questions. I would take him again.
Terrible teacher overall, lectures feel like him just projecting his own philosophical ideals onto philosophical subjects. Has a high ego and is condescending. Be warned if you are late to class by 3 minutes and you miss the daily quiz in those minutes, he will not let you makeup those points and say "oh well".(each worth like 2% of ur grade)
There were two interview exams for the mid term and final. This was extremely difficult as he wants you to come prepared but won't tell you what is going to be on the exam, not even what questions he'll ask. The lectures were pre-recorded and not super long. Occasional readings that are provided. Weekly discussion posts that are participation based
He is impolite. Reading will be required of you, and you will be lost if you cannot comprehend old English. I would never enroll in this course with him once more. He assists, but not to the extent that you would require. The reading quizzes are the only method available for earning credit.
The in-person lectures were confusing and it really seemed like he was learning what he was teaching for the first time. Slides are not available on canvas which is fine, they wouldn't have been helpful anyways. Online lectures were okay. Overall, I would not recommend unless you're ready to teach yourself and waste an hour of your time.
Very sophisticated and so unempathetic. When taking his course, don't have or plan to have anything bad going in your life (not even mental health). Make sure you understand old english well and don't have any other classes or a life. Make no room for mistakes or accidents. Overall one of the worst professors I've had here and wouldn't take again.
Professor Park is NOT good! Worst class ever I had to drop it. He's rude, didn't let me make something up due to a family emergency. Doesn't provide study guides nor tell you what's on an interview exam which is done on zoom with a camera on.Just seems like he's lazy and is only there to get paid and not help his students nor care about them at all
Overall I feel that Professor Park is a very fair instructor that the class was well structured. Grades consist of a discussion post every 2 weeks, and 3 exams. As long as you watch the lectures and do the readings you will do great in his class. Only reason I do not have an A+ is due to missing the deadline for multiple discussion posts.
Class was overall straight forward, but the exams are very difficult. There are 3 interview exams that he gives almost no preparation for and you're pretty much on your own. The lecture videos are time consuming and boring. The weekly discussion posts are easy, but the majority of your grade are the 3 interview exams, which are super hard.
hands down the worst professor/educator I've worked under in my academic career. Very rude, seemed annoyed and bored during zoom meetings or office hours if you asked him questions. Also was extremely condescending when responding to discussion posts that he disagreed with or were incorrect, feedback was always negative. I would not take him again.
The course code was supposed to show 134 because that's what I took but, worst professor ever! Nothing I can do to make up in order to boost up my grade a bit and it was pretty harsh. He doesn't let you make up a quiz if you're late to class and you fail automatically which is what I've already experienced once. Exams killed my grade. Worst class!
This class is not that hard. All you have to do is show up, take notes and study. Got an 88 on all 3 exams and the material wasn't too difficult at all. Don't listen to these complains, Prof. Park is a chill dude and makes the class very entertaining with sports phil banter. People are too lazy to study for exams. Would take again.
One of my favorite professors. They put in so much effort to make a thought-provoking class. Students that don't like them are likely hella lazy or can't come up with an original thought. I recommend this professor.
Basically, all you have to do is watch the lectures and take notes. To do well on the exams, just memorize the notes you have down on the philosophers. Overall, very easy class as long as you put in effort. Professor Park is chill.
The professor is straight forward and gives off a feeling of comfort, which can really help when you talk to him for any reason.
Straightforward and organized. Professor Park is clear about what is expected to be on exams. I would recommend this professor.
If you actually put in the work to try and succeed, then you will be more than alright. Professor Park is very keen on providing your own answers, but this will come easy if you actually study and listen to the lectures. He's also very generous when it comes to grading which is very cool, something you don't see often.
By no means is this class a freebee in terms of an easy pass, however if you simply put in genuine effort in taking notes of the class lectures, you will ultimately do well. Professor Park simply asks that you provide honest and original responses to the exam questions posed, which are firmly grounded in the material covered in class.
The class was pretty straightforward, the majority of your grade will be exams. As long as you study for the exams you'll be okay, he's a relatively lenient grader. The class overall was pretty interesting compared to a different philosophy class that I took, this one is much much better.
No homework but 3 course exams that make up your overall grade. Honestly, just watch the lecture videos and take in-depth notes and you'll do just fine.
Grading in this course is different from my past classes, as it's primarily based on exams. To achieve the best results, I recommend paying close attention to lectures, completing the assigned readings, and putting in consistent effort when studying. If you do this, you'll likely see positive results in your exam scores and overall grade.
Very straightforward and provides lots of clarity in lectures. Your grade is based on 3 Interview exams, having good notes and actually putting the effort in to study matters in order to do well. Overall had a good experience and was very interesting.
Class structure goes exactly by the syllabus. Assigns readings before each class, and then starts class with very simple, 2 question quiz on that reading. Won't let you take the quiz if you're late even if it's only by a minute. Tests line up exactly with the notes taken in class. Do the readings and take notes during class and you'll be fine.
Good teacher, hard exam essays.
Make sure you read the required reading and study your notes.
This professor is awesome! However, please make sure to attend the class lectures so that you are prepared for quizzes and tests!
Make sure to review material/notes before exam. There's only 3 exams and they're EACH 25% of your grade. Very straightforward but he isn't rude.
John Pork is a great philosophy professor with a strong understanding of his topic. Always willing to help students and provides a free textbook.
Professor Park was a great professor this semester. His class requires reading before class and had us do pop quizzes before class. So being prepared is a top thing regarding his class and would easily get you an A in this class. The exams are pretty much more lecture heavy and gives good feedback on the short answer! Class: PHIL 102 2401146
He is a very serious Professor, but you know exactly what is expected of you from the beginning of the class!!!
He's pretty understanding as long as you keep communication open and you keep him in the loop about things that might get in the way of your participation.
He is very straightforward with requirements and expectations and treats everyone fairly. Opens up class for discussion and answers questions thoughtfully and well. Highly recommend this professor, very knowledgeable and easygoing.
If you show up to class and do the small readings, then its not too bad. 75% of the class grade is based on tests. The upside is that there is no HW besides the weekly readings that are posted to canvas. The tests are also very small in size, where 1 question is worth 4% of the test. Take the class if you are looking for less hw. Easy B at least.
Good class discussions, professor was respectful of all students regardless of personal opinions and kept it professional/productive. Reading was assigned before every class and in class a 2 question quiz is given to prove you read the text.
Professor Park was a good philosophy professor that mainly weighs on student engagement in class. The discussions were very resourceful and the workload for the class was very managable but in return tests are weighed much heavier. The class mainly involves in class discussion where he challenges your ideologies. Overall a good class ans would rec.
This class is very reading-heavy but John Park is so awesome brah. He provided every single reading for the classes for free in the canvas, and there was quizzes based on those readings, but they were so simple if you understood at least the concept brah. He also offered extra credit that was just attending some speeches. Easy brah.
This course is straightforward, educational, and constantly well-structured, making it simple to follow throughout the semester. I valued that the expectations were always clear and that the task was quite doable. The readings were engaging and crucial as a preparation for each class period.
Do your readings, participate in class and take good notes and you should be able to be successful in this class.
This professor was pretty calm; he provides the textbooks, so you don't have to worry about paying for no book. Take notes in his class and you will be good. Majority of his grading is based on test, which aren't super hard as long as your taking notes and paying attention in class.
Professor Park was a great professor this semester. His class is pretty much chill and as long as you're prepared, you will do well in the class. His readings are required and does a small quiz at the beginning which gives free 2 points. His exams are based on the lectures compared to the reading. Other than that, it's a pretty easy class.
The professor is amazing in his willingness to help students express their opinions based on the moral topics. The professor comments on modern issues as well and actively challenges both viewpoints and a neutral ground, as he doesn't let his political affiliation be an outside factor. Also, the textbook was free for him on Canvas. W professor.
He assigns readings and then starts almost every class with a 2 question quiz on that reading. He won't let you take the quiz if you're late even if it's only by a minute but allows makeups if emailed before. Just make sure to do the readings and take notes during class and you should be good.
Get to class on time every class so you don't miss quizzes because they stack up even tho only worth 2 points each
He allows technology only to take notes, and he doesn't post lecture slides, but all his slides are on the readings posted online. His lectures provide clearer context and examples for the topics at hand. Everything was provided free except for the scantrons, which were less than a dollar for the 3 required. He is overall a nice guy!
He has a skill of saying "what if" in some scenario you share, but I enjoyed that because it made me think about how to beat his scenario. He is also entertaining to hear and tries to make the class enjoyable for the most part. I really liked this class.
He's pretty understanding but just make sure to communicate with him. Make sure to attend class because of the daily quizzes. They are easy but, you have to actually have to read the readings beforehand. Overall pretty straightforward if you put in the effort. I would take again.
Professor Park is cool, he's strict on attendance so if you show up late you will not be able to take the reading quiz. Other than that if you do the short reading and come to class you'll do fine. His lectures act as study guides so if you come to class you should be good for the exam.
Everything is clearly stated in the course syllabus. No devices allowed during lectures. Each class begins with a two question quiz based on the assigned reading we are supposed to read prior to class. Professor Park does a good job at keeping lectures engaging and facilitating class discussions.
Speak up early on when it comes to needed accommodations or else you will struggle. Also prepare to disagree with your classmates but know he gives everyone a fair platform. Does well in navigating discussions.
Professor Park sets clear expectations of his class. His class are only lectures but they are not too heavy. As long as you come to class and study your notes, you'll do great on the exams. There are 3, non cumulative exams with multiple choice and one short essay. It's an easy A if you put effort in learning the topics. Attendance matters!
His course is structured really well and makes required readings easily accessible for students. There are daily activities (like pop quizzes) that test your knowledge on the readings. He is a very good lecturer, and you can tell he is passionate about the topics discussed.
In class lectures are good and required class participation is easy but important. Online lectures get a little long but are good information. Over all it's a solid class.
Professor Park is really organized and explains things clearly. The class moves fast, but he's helpful if you ask questions. Overall a solid professor.
Not many chances to raise your grade.
He's passionate about what he does. Majority of the grade is based on 3 exams spread throughout the semester, but he offers some extra credit opportunities. It's an easy course if you're book smart and read assigned materials and watch assigned videos
Overall he was a great professor. The only homework consisted of weekly readings and he was passionate about what he was teaching.
Very clear with lecture and helping students understand. Quizzes are easy points as long as you make sure to do the readings. Offers extra credit!
Professor Park is a really good teacher. Participation actually matters in this class, which keeps everyone paying attention. The daily quizzes help a lot because they make sure we understand the lesson, and the three big tests are tough but fair. The way the class is set up makes it easier to stay on track and do well.
all of the test material comes from in class and online lectures. As long as you attend class and watch the videos it will be an easy class to pass.
Professor Park was a good lecturer and provided lots of examples and material, which was on the exams, however the class is heavily weighted towards three exams worth 75% of the grade with quizzes and class participation only weighted 10% and 15% respectively. The quizzes were only worth 2 points each so there was little room to raise your grade.
He was a great professor overall. I took this class asynchronous, so the one day of class was mandatory to attend. The class layout was discussed at the beginning so there were no surprises anywhere in the semester. You do have to read the required texts, but the quizzes on them were fairly easy. Put in the work and you will get a good grade overall
He means well but can come off a little stern. I personally like him as a teacher and would take his class again. If you work hard, study, do the readings, you can get a good grade. I hope you get an A in the class, I'm at an A before the final.
The whole grade is based around quizzes every class, participating once, and three midterms based on the lectures and readings. Overall, a pretty easy class.
Took this class to fulfill an upper division requirement and it was really chill. The lectures are cool and there is a quiz at the beginning of each class which is light. Homework are readings assigned each week and they aren't bad either. Exams are quite easy if you go over the class notes and online lecture videos he posts. Can be an easy A
He gives us a quiz every class before we start the class, and if we where lateby 2 mins you will miss the quiz and lose two points
Good professor, tough class. Quiz everyday over reading and online work every week. Not ton of homework other than reading. In class participation and showing up matters. Gave extra boost to grade at end of semester.
Professor Park was very good at lecturing during class. He made sure to engage with all students. Be ready to speak at least one time throughout the semester because that is a requirement. Really focus on doing good during the exams because they are worth most of the final grade. Make sure to do good on the weekly quizzes and read the material.
Straight forward course. As long as you do the reading and take notes on the lecture both in person and online, I would say you would do fine in the class. The content was not too hard to understand. Exams are content mentioned in lectures. I would take this professor again.
There is not a lot to be graded on besides for quizzes, exams. So if you don't do good on one things you can get a really low grade quick. It's pretty lecture heavy with textbook too No electronics, so hand written notes. Exams are no note Little to no hw so that's nice Responds to emails efficiently So far I give it a 3/5
This professor seemed to be biased in the views of the curriculum that he gave. Often referred back to the readings and of people he brought up in Lecture. If someone were to talk about a topic already discussed by one of these people or himself he would shut them down. Tests are graded heavily to your overall grade.
Attendance is mandatory with a reading quiz at the start of each class. There are not very many assignments so your grade will pretty much be the average of your three exams. He tells you to memorize your notes for the exams and they are challenging; 60 multiple choice questions and a small written portion will decide you grade for the most part.
Professor Park does a great job by letting people understand the lectures by doing group discussions. Offers an fairly easy points by participating one time during a class discussion which is easy as you need to only do one time and your group mates can help you.
Fun class, class discussions have depth and make for entertaining in-person meetings. Criteria is straight-forward and easy to follow along.
Readings are assigned outside of class, they aren't too long and they're interesting. You can learn from lectures without reading but there are quizzes each class. Class is definitely more fun and beneficial where more people read and participate in conversations. There are a few tests and I recommend studying. Professor Park is great.
has passion, a lot of reading tho
He is good, just strict
Do the readings and you will be fine for the daily quizzes. Test heavy. Good at collaborating with students.
(PHIL 131)You do have to do the readings. Mini Quizzes at the start of each class. Tests are a majority part of the course and no cumulative final. Lectures are fairly easy to understand and as long as you write down the notes they should be enough for studying
Very good professor. Class is informative and arguably worth the money. (“Arguably because of the absurd cost of education within today's America)
Great class if you have the discipline to simply show up and listen.
Honestly enjoyed his course. I was always prepared for the lectures and the info I got from them was very useful on tests. The interactions between him and my classmates helped to learn more about the material and how to approach it. Overall I had a great time
PHIL 131: get ready to read, he has his funny moments tho
Professor Park is well-organized and is very clear with his expectations for the class. The grading criteria is communicated clearly and consistently. Overall, Professor Park creates a positive learning experience and helps students get engaged in the material.
For class PHIL131 - Test heavy
(phil 131) great teacher 2 question quizzes at beginning of class (not hard) 3 exams non cumulative with short essay and reading material provided.
I enjoyed this class. All expectations were clear and lecture was structured well. The class debates were enlightening and engaging. 5/5 would recommend.
Quizzes twice a week. Firm on exam essay grading.
If you pay attention, read the material, and keep your head down. You'll be alright. The lectures aren't bad at all and I guarantee you'll pass if you just adhere to the structure. He structures it exactly for your success, just trust me!
Lots and Lots of readings. He only does lectures so if you're looking for something like that's more activities this is not the right class. He is very understanding when it comes to not being in class as long as you email beforehand. He lets us share our opinions no matter how extreme for some reason and doesn't judge us or make us feel less than.
(PHIL 131) Dr. Park is a rational professor. I admit, I could have done better. He offers extra credit and he assigns reading. A lot of reading but he does go over the topic and answers questions. Be warned about his quizzes before lecture starts and do read.
This is a heavy reading class, tests can be pretty hard but overall he is a great lecturer and the topics are explained thoroughly to the point that you can do well on tests despite the difficulty. Discussions are fun, participation is also really important, solid experience overall.
This course had daily quizzes on the readings, which can take up to 30 mins to an hour of time if you are thoroughly engaging with it. Essays on exams on novel situations on the ideas of philosophers discussed throughout the course. Collaborated well with students and encouraged participation, credit for participating in class.
Great class, if you enjoy philosophy and need a some what straightforward elective class. I enjoyed all lectures, but it is a lot of reading. You do have to get a couple textbooks, but other reading material is provided. ( This is for PHIL-131, Philosophy of Religion)
He is a guy who takes the time to be available in responding to emails and to help students about in class concept. But this class is not a class that is an easy pass or easy get an A. To get a B or an A, you would need to do most of the weekly readings and show u to every class and do well in the daily quizzes. And the course is lecture heavy.
There is a lot of reading required for this class, additionally with every reading there is a quiz per reading or quiz at the beginning of EVERY lecture
He's an okay professor. The class was alright not much homework but one participation assignment. There is reading and a quiz each day and three exams including the final.
(PHIL 131) Lectures are reading based, be prepared to take a pop quiz at the beginning of class as part of your attendance. Take good notes as they will be helpful when you study for the exams. There are only 3 exams in the semester. Be prepared to participate in group and class discussions, as it does count towards your participation grade.
Quizzes twice a week. Firm on exam essay questions.
He legitimately cares about his position and the content he teaches. I would recommend this class to every student who attends Sacramento state. Critical thinking is taught alongside other questions one must ask themselves when approaching religion. Homework mainly consists of assigned reading.
Daily quizzes , 2 questions in the beginning of each class! SO MUCH READING ! Expected to speak at least once by the end of the course for credit or your grade is gonna go down like 2 letter grades, class is very interesting but you better be more to get acceptable credit for talking. Good luck !
Very laid back teaching style. It helps get the whole class engaged in great discussion. He does a fantastic job using parables to covey the material clearly. I would absolutely take this professor again.
He has a very relaxed style which was awesome. He knows how to keep the class engaged in the subject. Tests require a lot of reading and studying but overall he conveys the material great. Highly recommend, would take this professor again
He clearly emphasized each topic and helped students understand the material by answering their questions during class time. There are readings for each class session, but it is doable; the only downside is that attendance is required. But overall, he is super chill and nice, and would be more than willing to help. Would definitely recommend!
Assigned reading is necessary to succeed in this class, there are short reading quizzes before each class based on the reading. Expect to participate and share an idea at least once during the semester. Attendance is mandatory and you have to be there the whole time. Prof is very enthusiastic and cares about the subject.
Highkey chill and goated. if you try like any class youll pass just fine. quiz before each class based on the reading, its literally 2 questions usually T/F. take notes from online videos/in class, the exam is multiple choice plus a small essay and its light. end of semester gave everyone 10% grade boost for rating him haha. can be an easy A.
