I had Dr. Patierno back in 1993 for both Anthropology and Sociology. He remains one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. In fact, I'm now a teacher myself and credit him with being an inspiration. We've kept in touch and are friends to this day!

Dr. Pateierno is a great teacher and he tells you the exact things to study for a test. He is great, you should take him.

Great teacher and wonderful person. It was a pleasure being in his class. There was a lot of reading and note taking, but he was fair with grading and just a great man to have known.

His class is soooooo easy!!! he gives you all the quiz questions and most of the answers.. all you gotta do is learn them. his tests are very easy. you don't have to go nuts studying for hours for them.. he gives you EVERYTHING!!! Dr. Patierno ROCKS!

He is an awesome professor. He writes all the notes on the board, give u the questions for the quizzes and really good reviewsheets for the exam which are usually multiple choice. He understands the his class isnt the only one in the world like some profs

I actually looked forwared to attending his classes!! He is a great teacher as well as a great person. Definitly my favorite teacher so far. He has structure which I like and bery fair quizes. I wish I had more classes to take with him

He is a really good prof. His quizzes are real easy and helpful with your grade. He gives alot of notes but its worth it for the test and the final was very easy, do the work and be in class and you will definitely pass, I recommend him, really good class too

If Prof. Patierno chose another profession, I would say he'd be a great news reporter for radio or television. He has a fantastic voice that projects well. He is considerate to provide sufficient notes and writes as much as we have to.We are fortunate to have him here at BCC. Here's an easy "A"!

Had him online, very easy. Simple tests straight out of the book. Gives you essay questions in advance. A cool guy!

Not only will you learn something from this class, he makes it fun! All M/C tests, gives you a review for each one. Quiz after every chapter, butt he gives you the exact terms to study for and there are only 10 terms. Can't get anything but an A in this class, unless you're a retard!!

Took ant-101 online; very easy class. Study the lecture notes and the tests would be easy; gives you essays in advance. Do the work and you'll get an A.

great teacher.quizes are the easiest thing, test are easy also just study a little bit.he gives you reviews for the quizes,test,final exam way in advanced and he drops the lowest quiz&test grade at the end theres no reason why you shouldnt get an A even if your not interested in the course I wasnt i thought it was boring but he makes it interesting

Prof. Patierno is the best teacher I,ve probably ever had. I'm taking his class online and it's very easy. You always know what is going to be on the test. Professor explains everything very clearly so you don't have any problems understanding the meterial.

Easy quizes you shouldnt get lower then a 100 seriously; test are a little more difficult but he gives reviews way in advanced which covers everythinng on test, he also gives reviews for quiezes. over all great professor makes socoiology interesting as possible b/c its quite a boring topic but over all A+ professor

Very nice person and an excellent teacher.Understanding to the fact that college students have a life other than Anthropology class, therefore he makes the class easy as possible with no research papers. Strongly suggest taking him as he does cover a lot of material and you do learn quite a bit!

Professor Patierno is very nice and easy to understand. Class is very easy & not a lot of work. As long as you participate in discussions & study his notes (not the textbook), you'll get a good grade. There are 4 tests, but he drops the lowest grade & as I said, as long as you study his notes, you'll ace the tests.

I took this professor for an online class and it's quite simple if you are motivated. Log on twice a week to check when things are due and you'll do fine. Tests are simple and multiple choice; there is no way not to get a B or higher in this class.

You will learn alot from this man. Take his class. It will all be worth it. Barely any work. A few quizes and only 4 exams. The lowest exam grade is dropped. Over all he is awesome and cute!

ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS HERE @ BCC. Very nice man as well. He knows his stuff and makes it very interesting. He gives you pages to read(optional)but tests are MAINLY from his notes. Just Listen, Follow his Exam Guides, and Your notes and you'll do fine. Fair amount of Notes but as long as you have em, this class is a breeze.

Very good teacher. He is very generous to those who took notes and studied the material. In my class, the lowest 'class average' was like 86.

Professor Patierno is an excellent teacher. He's incredibly kind and he teaches straightforward but interesting lectures. My advice to you is to make a friend in the class that takes good notes that you can photocopy, this way you can relax and soak up all the fascinating anthropological goodness....and yes, everything is multiple choice.

I had him my first year of college and he made it SO interesting. He is honestly a GREAT professor. He gives notes,examples and answers your question no matter how dumb it may be. He gives 2 types of test. A vocab and notes and he drops the lowest test grade. Read the texbook and thats it. easy. i'd take his again if i could.

Professor Patierno is easily one of the best professors I've ever had. He's helpful, kind, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. All of his tests are made up directly from his notes, so as long as you show up to class every day and study your notes, you'll get an A. I highly recommend taking one of his classes -- you'll have fun and learn a lot.
