i absolutely loved this class! i learned a lot of the material very easily and each day was like going to a comedy club. he is so nice and makes sure that everyone understands the material by repeating test questions. he even goes over the test before you take it. very easy class and very fun =)

He is very interesting and extremely helpful. Tells stories related to the subject to provide examples to clarify it, and even when stories do not relate to topic, still very amusing. He will "sacrifice his dignity" to help us learn and laugh. One of the funnest classes I ever had, and sends cram list for tests through email.

He's funny and makes the class very interesting. I learned so much! I took it during the summer & it was great! He does slide show/lectures and sends them to you along with a cram list for the test. i highly recommend taking his class.

I recommend taking him all day and all nite!! He has a great sense of humor and he ACTUALLY teaches effectively with powerpoint slides...he even sends you these slides/handouts/study guides so dont have to worry about writing notes just pay attention and review terminology for tests this class is EASY he even reviews before quizzes i got an A

Dr. Pellitteri is a really AWESOME professor! He's a really funny guy, loves teaching psychology, makes the class very enthusiastic and sometimes talks about his karate, lol. He gives good cram lists for each test and be sure to studying them and do extra reading from your textbook in order to pass the tests. Easy class!

i loved Dr. pelliteri, he was a great professor. always willing to help his students. he even gives the test questions out a week before the test. three tests are given, 5 homeworks, and a debate. unfortunately i could not attend the debate for personal matters, he was nice enough to give me a chance to redeem myself and make it up. funny guy too!!

Great professor, very interesting and reasonable with everybody. One of those classes you regret get canceled because it's just that fun. Has a great sense of humor, 5 homework assignments the semester, and as long as you take good notes and study his cram list (he gives them before tests) you should get at least a B easy.

He's a great teacher. He knows how to get to the students level and actually teach the material. Go to class for lecture. I have a B in the class without using the book. SOOO many extra credit opportunities! I Highly recommend him.

Awesome teacher. You actually use your brain while sitting in this class. Lots of quizzes. Lots of youtube fun. You do have to use the book to get a good grade. Almost a perfect class except that it is 3.5 hours long.

I took him this past summer and he is a great professor. I loved his teaching style. He goes over the cram list right before the test to ensure you do good. He also has a great sense of humor as well. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Cram lists and power points are important. Take his class. You won't be sorry.

Best professor of psychology ever! Dr. Pellitteri really loves to entertain us and has a lot of good sense of humor. Before the exams, he hands out study guides so be sure to study them and read all the chapters he assigns. Easy class! Take him, you'll love him!

He is an excellent lecturer; he is organized and gives you everything to succeed in his class: cram lists (study guides), notes, and extra credit opportunities. This being said, there is no reason for you not to do well in his class. He is very fair and understanding when it comes to grading as well. Take him!

Prof. Pelliterri is by far the best professor ever! He has great personality! i took him over the summer n i was looking fwd to his class everyday! He gave out study guide a week or two before every exam and go over every terms before the test is taken. he is also willing to work with u if u have any problems. he offers fun *extra credit* too! :D

Dr. P is amazing. He is funny and his experience as a psychologist allows for him to tell some pretty amazing and interesting stories. Everyone in class was saying how they were so disappointed that the semester was over. He's fair and funny and class goes by way too fast! Learned A TON!!! P.S. he likes guacamole. =)

What a fantastic teacher! I learned soooo much in this class! He keeps class interesting and gives you all of his powerpoints which, if you study them and go to class, help a ton on the test. I bought the older book because it was way cheaper and I barely used it. Take him! You won't regret it.

His abnormal psyc class was interesting and hilarious. His class very easy as long you at least read the chapters and re-read the .ppt's. One big assignment to write a review on a clinical book, jusst stay on track and you'll do very well.

He is such a good professor. Not boring at all; very funny. His lecture notes are useful and detailed. He gives a cramlist for every "quiz", which are more like tests. Study the cramlist & make flash cards and you're good to go. As long as you study for each quiz, you'll do really well. Grade made up of 4 quizzes, research paper, 5 hws, & final.

Professor Pellitteri was probably one of the best professor I've had at Mt. SAC to date. His homework assignments were all every easy and his test are all easily passible with an A. He gives out a cram list for all exams so make sure you study those and use practice sections at the end of each chapter in the book!

You need the book. It really helps. This teacher is hella hilarious, so it's hard to be bored in class. He's very nice and leniant and you pratically have an unlimited amount of extra credit opportunity. Take him!

I will be the first to write on the behalf of the psych 1B class! There was ALOT of material to learn and remember but I must say after taking this class I think about life differenly. It is not an easy subject but the professor is GREAT and explains the material very clearly. Study for the tests and you'll be fine.

Best teacher I've ever had. He was amazing in engaging the class and keeping our interest even in topics that may seem boring. This class IS NOT easy unless you're good at science/ biology. It does get easier as it goes along though and the professor is very funny/ helpful. Stick with it, he wants you to succeed. Go to EVERY class. Tests heavily based off of lectures. Do extra credit. He seems strange at first, but you'll warm up to him. Give him chili pepper!

Class was SUPER fun! Had to take online quizzes after each lecture (be sure to do those on time). Also had a journal review paper, start that one early cause finding good articles can take forever. Tests are all multiple choice, nothing to worry about. Take good notes, pay attention in class, and you'll definitely ace them.

Don't need a textbook, but need to buy a workbook (cheap), there are 3 tests and a research paper. Really easy, just try. Lectures a lot but then goes over it again and again. ASK! No matter how many times you ask, he won't get annoyed, trust me. He says he teaches it like a PHD class, but he goes over things multiple times and his jokes are funny

He is the most funniest professor ever. I literally almost peed my pants a few times lol. His motto is study hard test easy. Yes you need to study to pass his class but he practically tells toy what will be on the test, there are no surprises. Study the PowerPoint slides, do workbook and you wont have problems passing the class or his exams.

Best professor teacher I have ever had in my entire life. took him in winter, he always let us out early but clearly went through the material to make sure we understood it. actually teaches it to you not just reads off a powerpoint. 3 exams & he gives you a study guide for all of them. This is my third and last year at Mt. SAC and this professor has probably been my favorite professor at Mt. SAC. He is hilarious!! And he makes a tough subject much easier. Professor Pelletteri is amazing! I wish he could teach all my psych classes and I hope that I get the opportunity to be taught by him again. I took an online 8-week class which was easy if you did the work. 2 discussion posts a week (500 words each) based on the Textbook. 4 responses a week (200 words each) to other students. A 10 question quiz each week. He gives you an A if you meet the requirements and use textbook terms in the posts. Answers to quiz/final are online.

I took the 8 week onlince class. Professor Pellittteri really wants you to understand and learn from this class. Textbook is needed, 2 chapters a week, a ten question quiz weekly, 2 discussions posts and 4 replies weekly and a final. He is a tough grader when it comes to the responses, make sure you incorporate terms from the readings.

My favorite professor of all time. I'm not even a psychology major and he made me consider switching. He taught me so much in the span of 12 weeks and made the learning process fun. He genuinely cares for his students and wants them to succeed. Definitely not an easy A but you will learn things everyday that pertain to psychology and life.

He is a hilarious professor with lots of humor, but he requires too much for a 6-week term. I want a 5-6 page research paper. He requires you to buy a workbook that you need to finish. 3 online quizzes a week and 2 exams + 1 final. You need to sign for attendance which you will lose a pt. If I was a professor, I would not assign a research paper

He is a good guy but he is too humorous on his quizzes and tests which can be a little biased. His powerpoints and test do correlate that much. take notes when he is talking because most of the questions on the test are verbal lessons. He will not write steps down on a whiteboard but will explain it verbally. you need to take notes when he is talks

This guy is really cool. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He likes messing around which keeps students stimulated during lecture. He can be a little hesitant to give clear responses; persistence is key! There isn't much extra credit, so make sure you're ready to study.

It was a very hard transiting with all the madness in the world. He stayed and SUPPORTED us 1000% of the time! Such an amazing professor. I took Professor Pellitteri previously and was really intrigued by his teaching methods, he's clear, concise, and adds humor to the class. The transition from in-person to online was smooth and he outlines what is needed at the beginning of the week. Get ready for discussions, quizzes, reading and understanding PPT's, and a paper!

I took Dr. Pellitteris class on campus & then transitioned online due to the pandemic. His lectures on campus are so fun & entertaining & continued to be so online! Online exams are 100 qs but he gives you the pdf of the exam before the due date so you can find all your answers before turning it in. He could make you laugh on ur worst day! 10/10

dr. pellitteri is incredible!! the best prof i ever had. class was really easy, very structured! as long as you have the book to work with, you will pass with an A no problem. the class is async. weekly discussion posts, quizzes and activities but i swear they are SO easy as long as you answer questions in full. very understanding, funny, and sweet

I wanted to tag Participation Matters and Hilarious because I have truly never loved a class so much! I will admit if you don't put the work in this class will be difficult. But take it from me, I usually hate any bio classes but I absolutely loved this class. He's one of the very few professors that actually cares and gives you insight into jobs.

Professor Pelitteri was a really nice! Really wants to be a connection for students if you are pursuing Psychology. The lectures could be all over the place but definitely nothing hard, there is a quiz every week but everything is in the slides he provides. Definitely not hard as long as you keep up with the small assignments, the usual.

Dr. Pellitteri has been one of my favorite professors I have had so far. You can tell he really cares about building a good rapport with his students and cares about their success. He is a licensed psychologist and it was great having his professional insight on the subject of biological psychology. Would definitely recommend taking him.

I really liked this professor, don't get me wrong the class is rated as easy but it is not really easy, but it is just straightforward. You definitely got to put the work in, but the professor was one of the best I've had. Unfortunately, I was going through very difficult personal things, but he understood and worked with me. Easy Class! All quizzes/exams can be found in his PowerPoint or online. Easy grader always provides full credit for just trying. I highly recommend him. He is very understanding and communicative. She provides videos and announcements to check-in. One research paper, take advantage of extra credit.

I honestly really like taking Dr. Pellitteri's class. His videos are so funny & I like that he adds comedy to everything he teaches us so it could help us learn. Extra credit is hard to get. A lot of videos. Homework is a lot if you want to be a serious student. The grade is not negotiable. Quick reply to the email. Not a tough grader. Jar review will lose a lot of points if you don't meet something. The book is expensive. A lot of workshops. Could be your monitor. He is a wonderful person. Humor and kind.

People who did not read the textbook randomly reply to discussion questions and think this class is not hard. If you read the textbook and then answer the questions it will be a hard class for you. Quizzes can not be found online. Jar paper was hard. The textbook is difficult to read. He has his rules and will not change. Not an easy A.

Be prepared for details in the textbook to appear on the exams and quizzes (e.g. which example did the textbook use to describe...). Videos were very interesting and inspirational. I was inspired by Professor Pellitteri, he enjoys his work and it made me enjoy the subject. I also loved his lectures he did on Tuesdays for anyone interested in pursuing psychology further as a career. The class was a little hard but not impossible to complete. You will need the textbook for certain parts that are harder. I would recommend him.

Every class was extremely engaging and very insightful. He really pushes you to participate as an individual and in group settings. All of the topics discussed were heavy but he made it a safe and judgement free environment to speak your mind. This class really helped me think a lot more critically and he is the best professor at Mt. Sac!

This was by far my favorite Psych class ever. His lecturing was engaging & it made me eager to learn. He verbally quizzes the class often to make sure you're retaining the information & will break things down if there is uncertainty. Really make sure you show up to class, take notes & do your cram list to ensure success. Best professor ever!

This professor is a really good teacher he gives good lectures and make sure you understand the lecture well and if you have any questions, he will be sure to answer them.

Professor Pellitteri is amazing. I enjoyed his lectures and I loved learning in his class. Prepare to study for the exams. You receive points for showing up to class. In addition, if you miss one day of class, you miss a good chunk of the learning material. Overall, I highly recommend this class.

Prof. Pellitteri is AMAZING! By far the most inspirational professor Ive taken in college. He's entertaining and keeps your attention the whole time. Vry important that you pay attention to his lectures cuz you can get lost quickly, but he is very good at answer questions when you ask. If I could, Id take all my classes from him. Highly recommend.

took psych 1b in the summer and i'd recommend him! he has lots of resources and i recommend to take 1b in the summer, since you can just get it over with. there was around 6 discussion questions a week with a quiz and an activity. jar paper wasn't hard but this class is quite heavy over the summer. be ready to put in a lot of time

I recently took professor Pellitteri during the Summer, It was a lot of work, there was a lot of information to learn in a short amount of time, Pellitteri is a great professor he is super funny too. Be sure to stay organized so that you don't fall behind. The quizzes weren't hard just have to make sure that you are keeping up with the readings.

Professor Pellitteri is a fun professor who makes a lot of dense content easy to understand. I took both biopsych/psych1b with him as well as abnormal psychology. He is funny, engaging, and actively tries to make sure the people in his class understand the topic. He also does review days before the exam that help a lot.

Professor Pellitteri's class is challenging but rewarding. Attend lectures, engage with the material, and utilize resources like the textbook and unstuckstudy for study prep. Overall, a valuable learning experience.
