Dr. Pincince is interesting, but it's clear he's a new prof. He's still trying to break in to the whole teaching thing. His random tangents may be amusing, but make the class hard to follow. But he is open to student suggestions&tries to improve the class.Overall nice guy.He is not rude to students, although aloof at times.Class keeps getting better

I understand the need to be tactful, but this guy is just a bad professor. He does not use an outline (pretty much essential for any history class) and when asked one, he flat out refused. As a history major, this is by far the worst class I have ever had in this department and wonder what the highering committee saw that is clearly no longer there

On a plus side, Dr. Pincince had some pretty funny tangents and gradually improved communication over the semester. However, overall he really lacked clarity, failed to clearly communicate what he wanted in assignments, and refused to provide requested outlines of lectures. I felt like I was being read a dissertation each day in lecture.

The class discussions were fabulous and he was fabulous. Everyone in class secretly fantasized about him, what a cutie! The case studies we did were very interesting and the readings, with the exception of Captain Cook nonsense, were great! All in all he's like a toostie pop, hard on the outside, chewy and soft on the inside.

Prof. Pincince is great. I learned so much in this class. He is really intimidating at first and gives a "wall of text" lecture to scare off a good 3/4's of the class on the first day. Take him for an easy A. You're graded on attendance, 16 quizzes, and 3 short essays. He gives study guides for the terms on quizzes and drops the lowest 6. Overall, he's a really chill prof, funny at times, and just likes to yap about current events. Def take him if you need an easy class to fulfill your core.

Easy A. Take for History T1 credit. Hardest part of class is showing up because it is so boring, but so incredibly easy!

Dr. Pincince is absolutely my favorite professor. Very talkative and knowledgeable in his field, I would 100% reccomend taking this course. Most of his lectures were pretty short, and attendance and begining of slides would take up time in class. He knows his students and is a kind professor. I am curious about his screentime though.
