Rollino is the sweetest man! He seems scary at first but he will stay and answer any question you have! he also gives so much partial credit on exams its almost impossible to fail. His material may be hard but he's just prepping you for what's on the MCAT.

I felt at points throughout the semester that there was a lot of information that students are expected to know. However, I have a miserable background in mathematics and as a result I found myself struggling. If you work to understand the material, you will do fine.

Tbh, going to his lectures are useless. He takes a whole period or two to explain a concept, while James will explain it in like 10 minutes. Although, he is a very nice and understanding professor. Tests are similar to previous ones so study those and do practice problems and you'll be fine. Gives a lot of partial credit and curves at the end.

Literally never went to a single lecture in two semesters of physics. You DO NOT need to go to his lectures. He tells you you do, but I promise you you do not. Go to JAMES review sessions and put in the work ( you don't need to get good grades on the quizzes just let him know you are trying)

Some lectures tend to drag on a bit, but overall had a great experience in his class. Recitation lectures are key for this class.

Dr. Rollino was a legend! He was hands down one of the most brilliant people I came across in my life. Dr. Rollino always used interesting examples to help us understand the material. His exams were fairly difficult but he always provided practice exams and the quizzes helped, too. May he rest in peace. Rutgers-Newark isn't the same without him.

Used real life examples in hopes to get material across to students. Intelligent. Passionate about Physics. So underappreciated. Gone too soon and suddenly. May he rest in peace.
