Mr. Scoulios works you, but you do learn alot and it pays off. I have been getting nothing but A's in Math since I took his class. He is fair, breaks concepts down so everyone understands the work. He has high expectations. I never really liked math until I took Mr. Scoulios's class.

Mr Scoulious is the best Algebra teacher i have had thus far since i have been in P.G. He is willing to help(even when he isnt getting paid) for it. And to all the ladies in the class or who will take this class Scoulious is a rough neck!LOL. Scoulious you have made me look at Algebra in a new way!

He is the bedt. He encourages you to go above and beyond. I was afraid of numbers before I walked in his class now I know all it takes is time and a formula. He will keep you laughing and will take extra time to help those who show an honest interest. I just want to give him a big hug when I see him

Professor Scoulious, loved to teach math and help others who put forth the effort. Although, I failed his course, I used his special techniques for the math course when I had to take it over again. He breaks down steps in a way that makes more logical sense for you to interpret. The test(s) were somewhat hard to me though.

Took the self-paced course so he did not teach the class much however the times that he did explain material proved to be very helpful. Unfortunately for me he does not teach 1040; however, I would recommend him for the self-paced self-learned portion of DVM 007 if you are disciplined enough to complete the work per his deadline. DO ALL LAB HOURS!!

great teacher, its like this guy made it his life to help students love math. he is 100% clear and takes it as far as to use athreedifferent color pens for a single problem; all int he sake of clarity.

Professor Scoulios is one of Favorite professors at PGCC. His lectures walk you though step by step not skipping anything. He is also willing to work with any student that is struggling ( as long as you show interest). Even though I took him 3 semester ago, he is still helping me with my MAT1350 class. I would higher recommend him for 0070.

OMG. Where did they find this guy? I just finished the course and learnt more in his class than I did in k-12. He teaches the math way and also breaks it down so we understand it. He also advises us. He is hard but fair.

Crystal clear in his syllabus in explanation of how to receive an A in his class. Teaches math beautifully with care to troubling aspects student typically have hard times with. Great math teacher.

All I have to say is Professor Scoulios is one heck of a teacher. I NEVER thought I'd understand anything related to math. He is prally the best teacher I've ever had. Funny, cool, and knows what he's talking about AND how to teach it! He really cares.

He is probably the best teacher I had at at Prince Georges Community College. He has a passion for teaching, highly educated and it's clearly evident. I only wish I was as smart as him. Highly recommend him for ANY math class.

I love professors Scoulios class! He's very funny! He's helpful when you need he's help! But don't get caught up in the same module it grinds his gears! But keep him up to date with your progress so he can guide you! He responds to emails fast! And explains his knowledge well enough that you can understand it! He's really nice too! Easy class!

I am glad I chose him as a professor for math! He really helped and guided me along the way. Replies back to email quickly. Knows what he is talking about and is SUPER hilarious. I would recommend him to anyone that needed to take a developmental math. I wish he was teaching MAT1350 next semester :(

Mr Scoulios is different than the others professors I have had. He cares. He is always checking my progress. He e-mails you back fast. He expects you to do work so be prepared.

I had the same course last semester with a different teacher. This semester I have Mr. Scoulios. I was upset at first since he made me follow every step of the syllabus. My other teacher didnt do that. I am doing great now. Scoulios does mini lessons and always walks around to check to see if you need help . He answers emails fast. He's funny too.

I took Professor Scoulios for DVM0031 and DVM0071. He is the BEST math professor I've ever had! He walks around class asks if anyone needs help and gives mini-lessons. He really does care about his students. You have to do the Guided Notes. He answers e-mails really quick. To top it all off he's hilarious. I would definitely recommend!!!!

I wont past the class. It is not Mr Scoulious fault cause he worked so hard to make us undertsand the math. He really smart and has ways to show you that the computer program dont show you.

Honestly, at first I did not care too much for him. But as the semester went on it got better. He's caring, detail oriented, cares about what work you complete. Will keep you on a schedule if you need him to, answers emails VERY quickly. He's very thorough and expects the same from you. He also will explain something 100 times until you have it.

He teach math better then any other teacher i had he understands my problems and has good advise he help me chose classes for next year.

I didn't pass the class but Prof. Scoulios was the best professor I had at PG. I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did if it wasn't for him. He is very helpful as well as Robert. They both really help you stay on track and are always there to help with problems. He replies to emails quickly and makes you feel comfortable to ask any question.

This is the third time i am taking this course. I dropped it other other times cause i didnt understand the teachers. Mr.S teaches it the math way but he also breaks it cdown so you understand. im passing!

He is funny. Work is all on educosoft and is graded when you finish. The work an be done at anytime before it expires . You can learn at your own speed. you can do the work online and go to class for the test.

Scoulios is an excellent teacher, he is one of the smartest person I know. Math is truly is passion and you can tell from how he teaches. I was out of school for 7 years and I chose him for my first semester, he made math make sense and came to my level of learning so that I could understand. He is my favorite prof. I would highly recommend him!

Prof. Scolis is excellent. I tookthis class last semestre with somebody else and failed. I learned more in 3 week withProf. Sclis then all last semester. He explains things so you understand.

The problem was I didnot know this was a hybrid class with limited meetings. Prof Scoulious was great at explaining and covered eveything. I remember asking in class there was a problem in the book I didnot understand. He opened the book in class for us to see it on his screen and he broke it down so we all could understand it. After reading some reviews I was reluctant to take him. But he explained how to submit work in the syllabus. Very organized. It was clear to me. It was a lot of work but it is an online class. Glad he had lecture videos so I could understand the math better.

Mr Scoulious was really good teacher. He explains the work and marks your test. He knows his stuff. Take him and not his sub. The Jackson lady that took over his class only did homework problems in class and did not mark tests. you learn on your own with her.

If you're taking his class, make sure you take notes and read your book. When testing, it is required to show ALL of your work for each problem. If no work is not shown, expect an 0 for the question. The use of a TI-84 calculator is required and allowed to be use in the test. Best not to skip the class.

Really explains things good in the online lectures.The only problem is he don't let you use notes during the exams.

At first I did not like the course notes homework. But I realised that the course notes help me study. Also his lecture on video are excellent.

Just saw my grade. I am so glad Mr. S kept his word cause he droped my lowest homework grade and quiz grade.

At first I didnt like that I had to take note for a grade.But to tell you the truth - it helped me. He doesn;t allow makeups but he will drop lowest grades. Good teacher all round.

This class was hard ofr me because I thought it was in Zoom but was all online. Mr. Scoulios was approachable and helped guide me through the course. The online setup was organized and easy to understand.

Mr. Scoulios was always available and he responds to emails quickly. I couldn't believe how fast he emailed me back. His video lectures were long but informative. I am taking him again for my next course.

Canvas course is organized and easy to navigate. He sends too many announcements, but they are mostly reminders so that's ok. I like that he has lectures by concept and not by section. It was easy to find videos of things I didn;t understand in the text.

Great professor. I missed my first test but he allowed a replacement at the end of the semester so I did not have a 0 for that first test. His lectures are good too.

Hard course but if you follow the syllabus you will be fine. I was glad he had a evening office hour since I work during the day. He also emails you back quick.

He was so thorough and understandable that I wanted to take the next course with Mr. Scoulious but his classes are full so I will have to wait for the next semester because I do not want to take it with a different prof.

I wanted to withdraw in the middle of the semester but mr scoulios told me to stick with it becuase he sees that it takes me a little longer to get it but i will get it by the end of the semester. He was right and a got a B. You can tell he likes his class.

Didn't know there was no class. Thought online classes meet online. But those are remote. Anyway it worked out because his lectures explained things better than the book. the exams are not hard becuase his lectures explain what to do. Taking him for calculas.

He goes over material for the first part of class. Then he makes the whole class comes to the board to do problems together. Each day is different groups. I learned alot form my classmates working in groups. The class has alot of concepts so do not miss a day, but explains well. First time I got more than a C in math. Thank you Mr scoulios.

I am not good in math and cant remember formulas. Mr scoulious was always helpful in the office hours so much that I was able to pass the final. His lectures are really good and I can actually follow them.

Professor Scoulios' video lectures are ESSENTIAL and VERY IMPORTANT to watch in order to pass the class. He explains each concept in detail, goes over many examples, and demonstrates how to solve them on the calculator. He provides many forms in which you can ask for assistance if needed, such as his office hours, email, or exam review sessions.

Great lecturer who explains practice problems and math concepts thoroughly. Always answered questions, though sometimes he may make a comment about how it is something you should already know. Very accessible and always kept the class updated through Canvas announcements. Honestly one of the best math profs I've taken at this school.

Like the other student said, Prof Scoulious is a really good professor. I was struggling all semester, and when i was really confused, he broke it down so i could understand. I could not have made it without him. He used an example of a smoothie sweetness function. I totally got it.

Professor Scoulios has a unique teaching style - he makes the whole class work through problems together at the board. It's challenging but I learned a lot from my classmates. unstuck study was super helpful for study prep.

A lot of homework and testing had to be done in person at the testing center. Exams could be difficult, however, Professor. Scoulios does hold mini-review lectures on the topics before exams.

After reading the textbook I did not understand partial derivatives until Mr Scoulious gave his smoothie example. thank you Mr S. You mage me understand calculus.

BE on top of all algebra rules. you CANNNOT SLACK OFF. I dropped bc i couldn't make the time this class NEEDS. He will answer all your questions during class. Good teacher but do your part. STUDY STUDY STUDY. Tests are everything. They define you're grade. Don't miss HW's, don't fail quizzes, study hard for exams. a lil snarky but he's very smart.

I took the algebra with corequisite which was alot of work like two courses at one time and I struggle with it. Mr. Scoulious explain the work that I can understand and I just made it. Thank you for helping during your office hour. It helped.
