Really funny and likes to crack weird jokes then laugh at himself...pretty interesting at times but the material is very dry. Doesn't care if you come to class, goes by the text book.

The Best Prof I have ever had! John is one of those few profs that actually care about what he is doing and his studnets. 372 is a challenging course but he makes accounting fun! If you do the home work its easy. Class is worth going to for his stories alone. Always available for help.

He went over the material pretty much from the book but what I really like is how he adds things from other sources. I like when he argues with stuff from the book...and I usually agree with him. Good prof.

Funny prof! Great guy! But Mos 180 was a dry course. He's great at teaching Bus020 as I sometimes went to his class when I slept in for mine! Overall, amazing prof to take! He's fair on his test and grades and trys his best to get the material across to you.

John is the best teacher at Kings by far. Takes an interest in how his students are doing. Makes the material more interesting and easier to understand in a difficult course. Go to every class if you want to do well and do all your cases!! Labs are useless don't bother.

Amazing Class and amazing prof

I was so worried taking 2257 from what I heard from friends. John has been fantastic from the first day. He takes dry material (it's accounting!) and makes it clear, useful and actually fun. He is professional yet friendly and funny. One of the greatest profs at Western and his reputation is deserved. John rocks!

John Siambanopolous or "Simba" as we call him is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. I had taken my first semester of Bus1220E with a different prof and was getting about 65. When I attended John's class in the 2nd semester, my grades we're mid to high 80's! I cannot recommend this professor enough. He is always there for students.

Can not say enough good things about John. Such an amazing prof, genuinely cares about his students and how they are doing. Sometimes he is unclear about concepts during lecture, he is always really helpful during office hours! He knows what he wants/expects from students mark wise, it's a tough course but he is always willing to help!

John is amazing. Business1220 was my favorite first year class (even though it was at 8:30am) because of John. He is hilarious and really motivates his students to do their best. If you participate a couple times per class and do the cases you can do really well in his class, I finished with an 85%. Overall, great prof and I highly recommend him.

John is a genuine guy. He cares about how you do and pushes you to develop better analytical, writing, and communication skills. He has a real good way of explaining things and if you don't get it he will do everything in his power to help you understand. Participation is a must. TAKE JOHN

John is the best. Period. Had him for Business 1220E (got 85%) and Business 2257 (got 88%) because of John's teaching. He's a great prof and really makes an effort to help every student do their best. 3 tips to an "A": GO TO CLASS, DO CASES, PARTICIPATE. If you do that, you will not get under an 80%, guaranteed. Overall, you cant go wrong with John

John is BY far the most amazing professor I've had at university. So wonderfully clear and engaging. The class was a joy to attend. My friend never came to class, didn't do any of the cases and got a "D". She didn't like him. That explains a lot.

Best biz prof at UWO. Great lectures. Goes over cases thoroughly and explains each step. Available for help consistently and has review sessions before exams. Cares about his students and is a genuinely nice guy. Go to class and do the work and you will do well.

Taking both bus 1220 and 2257 with him; cannot think a better experience of studying accounting and business analysis. John is absolutely knowledgeable and his lecture is never dry; you'll really understand the lecture rather than just remember something and take the exam. You will never regret to choose him.

My second degree and John has become my favourite professor I have ever had. I want to do Business after my first degree and he was amazing in Bus 1220E and then saved me in Bus 2257. I went to other profs classes and never went back. John is what all students want in a prof. Brilliant, funny and caring! Thank you John!!!! We love you!!

He wants you to succeed. One of the best professors I've had thus far. Was super nice having him as my prof when I heard some horror stories of other business profs at Kings. Also had him for 2257. It was a bit harder of a course but he still taught it amazingly. Heard there are other great options for 2257 if you can't get him for it though.

He is exactly what every student dreams of when they are worried about a class. I was so scared taking 2257. It's a hard course everyone has told me. John was great. He made it clear (and I've NEVER taken accounting!!) and very bearable. I wish every prof I had was like him. I know I would do great.

Amazing prof, responds to any questions outside of course designated hours extremely fast. Has the best interest for every student. Lectures are engaging and lively. Course was fairly difficult, however he really does help to learn all of the material. Would definitely recommend, as well as sign up for his classes again.

This guy is the goat, took him a while back but had to drop a 5 star for ma boy. He wants you to succeed, he wants you to understand, and he wants you to enjoy his classes. Very funny guy with lectures that keep you interested in the class. I 100000% reccomend Mr.Siambanopoulos

midterm and final exams were pretty easy if you just study the lecture notes. The weekly quizzes he assigns are pretty difficult if you haven't already studied the material. The 3 Excel assignments are super finicky and you quickly lose marks for accidentally misclicking

I had him for MOS 1023, and MOS 1033. I have to say he was one of the best teachers/profs I have ever had. I strongly recommend anyone to take his courses that he is offering as he is a very engaging, and funny teacher. He rewards people who try and participate in class. He also gives out bonus marks for certain classes *mos 1033* on the last class

John is one of the most underrated professors. super understanding of personal issues, lecture material is clear, and responds to emails/questions quickly. the course can be tough but john wants you to do well. if you put in the work, a grade above an 85 is achievable. would take him again 100%
