Very easy exams, but he still teaches you plenty. Very humorous, and friendly to all. A lot of A's and B's.

Indeed, Mr. Smith enjoys political science and loves teaching it. He delivers the material very clearly and gives many real-life examples, tells many historical stories related to each lecture to keep you interested.

This was the easiest A I ever got. You don't even need the book for ths class he teaches everything from real life. I strongly recommend this teacher for a fun, no homework, no classwork only perticipation, easy-easy-easy-A.

Really cool teacher. Most of the class discussions are not related to the book, but to everyday politics. He makes you understand that rather or not you are into politics, it still effects you in some way.

THIS PROFESSOR IS AWESOME!I took this class over the summer so it was a little accelerated, but I learned a lot from him. I think other teachers in the GPC system could learn a few things from Mr. Siler. Great college experience!!

If not the best, one of the best teachers I have ever had. Textbook will not be needed really. He teaches you what u need to know by discussing everyday politics. If you don't get an "A" in his class there is something wrong with you.

Mr Siler is a truely great teacher. He could inspire anyone to be interested and involved in politics. With his personal experience of politics he brings the subject to life. Hes got a great sense of humor which is evident in his teaching style so theres never a boring moment. Not taking him is a big big mistake.

Don't buy the book there is no need for it. All the work consisted of papers that you can bs your way through. Very easy class just get involved in the class discussions and have your own opinion and you will do fine.

This class is so easy, you dont even need to to buy the book. Anyone can make an A, if the try. He will only give u an midterm exam and final exam for taking a half semester. I reccomend u taking this class so easy.

Man dont waste your time buying that book. He literally tells you everything you need to know for the midterm and the finally exam and you will only take the midterm and final exam and a small "project" which is an outline of your political views. He makes political science seem interesting. He is just not some boring o'white guy.

The coolest teacher i have ever had

ALL I CAN SAY THAT THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER PROFESSOR LIKE HIM AGAIN. THIS TEACHER GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO EVEN HELP YOU WITH YOUR PERSONAL PROBLEMS, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS. YOU LEARN EVERYTHING WITHOUT EVEN OPENING THE BOOK, AND YOU HAVE THE BEST TIME OF YOUR LIFE IN CLASS. HIS CLASSES WERE THE GREATEST PART OF MY JOURNEY AT THIS COLLEGE.

He is the best teacher ever. He puts you in with the material that he is teaching. I wish I could have him for all my classes. I love this man. He makes it worth going to classes, even when you have a bad day at work or in your other classes. You have to pick him or you WILL regret it.

Do not buy that book! I skip class like twice every week and still don't miss much. He's cool though with real life experiences. And wonderful personality.

Mr John Siler is more than a teacher, he is like a life navigator, your mentor. Mr Silver LOVES his students and his subject and it makes SO interesting to learn from him and encourage everybody to grow politically and generally. :-)

I recently returned back to school after many years and Mr. Siler made the transition comfortable. He is a no holds barred teacher that gets the point across in a meaningful way. His use of analogies were excellent throughout the whole semester. I would definitely recommend his class to anybody.

Mr. Siler is the best teacher to ever teach at Georgia Perimeter. I was not at all interested in POLS before I stepped in his class and he changed all of that. I wanted to come to class not just to get the credit, but to see what he was going to talk about each day, because he made it just that interesting. I loved the class.

WOW. Can't say enough about how great this man is! He is brilliant and just plain fun. Never a boring word in anything he says! Plus he is a hottie! I want to take every course he teaches!

Here's the d/l. This class is an easy A. Siler gives study guides that are the actual exam! He clarifies all points and answers questions at. He hates electronics especially cellphones, and he swears. I came late to class for a month (20-40 minutes late) and I still made an A, just explain your situation. He's a lot of fun.

I had Mr. Siler for Criminology AND Corrections. Hands down, Mr. Siler is an incredible teacher. He challenges each and every student to THINK, but he doesn't kill us with homework!

He is the best teacher I've ever had in college. I met him the first day and had a cool conversation with him and since that day I've learned a ton although I only took the class because it is required. He relates the class to things everyday, and trust me you think you know, but you don't.

He is good at what he does. When I first started, I could care less about politics. However, because of his class, I have a bettenr understanding now more than ever with the election coming up this year. I highly recommend taking this class. Always know "What's Going On". 2 test, mid-term and final and they come directly from the study guide.

Mr. Siler is awesome, but if you don't like politically incorrect people don't take him. He based the class around discussion and he really wanted to hear what we said about what was being discussed. Overall he was awesome and very cool!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

'Amazing' just fails to sum up how great a teacher he really is. He has the ability to make an hour long class feel like 10 minutes. His voice is attention-getting and his personality off the hook. I take his classes even though I dont need them!

Took Pol Sci Amer Gov 8 weeks & loved every minute of it. I enjoyed going to class, actually I looked forward to class & when it ended wished it were longer.Great guy!He loves to joke! He made the class interesting & fun every day Becuz of him I am now more interested in politics. Study the guides do the paper EZ A! Participate he loves it!

Mr. Siler is an instructor like no other. What I loved about his class is that he doesnt BS. He comes to class and TALKS about real world events that relate to the class material. No slides (he hates technology), no reading from the text. His tests are verbatim Q's from his review sheet. He is relevant and entertaining. Easy A. Unforgetable person.

BEST TEACHER! only have 3 assignments paper, midterm, & final the whole semester! Took him SPring 08, he makes things interesting and RARELY ever used the book. Make sure you keep up with the study guides because that IS the test, they are all essay no multiple choice. But the study guide are the test. I got an A, very funny & easy!

Where can i start. If you need to boost your GPA, this is the teacher. Wow, he is the best. I took him for Criminology. Only mid-term and final. His test are his study guide, word for word. No books, don't have to show up, go on trips. Best class i ever took in my college experience. He talks about real issue. He is a real person.

If U get a B or C in this class, that mean U guys are lazy.There should be no eXCuse not getting an A in this class because the TEACHer is VERY clear and he will tell you exactly what he wants. This is a great teacher. He tells you up front what is expected of you, gives you an idiot-proof study guide for the 2 tests you'll take, and explains everything in great detail. However, he does not mince words. Do not take him if you can't take a joke. Cell phones off during class, no hats, and read the news!!

My absolute fave professor at GPC! He's totally clear on what he expects and really gets you involved with what's going on in today's politics, not just what is written in a book. Speaking of which, don't even buy the book! He's brutally honest and will tell you as it is. Wish all professors were like him!

By far and away the VERY BEST TEACHER I have ever had! If you really want to know the ins and outs of politics, this is your prof! I laughed out loud everyday in class, and even though he's what you would call a tough SOB.. he really shows how passionate he is about his subjects. Wonderful Class! I learned SOOO MUCH!

I soooo want to change my major to criminal justice - JUST so I can take another class from him! The absolute best class you'll ever have. He does not pull any punches! If you have an answer, prepare yourself for the most HONEST of answers, cause he is not here to please anyone. Very refreshing side of politics - as opposed to the liberal side

Take him. There is only the midterm, final, and one paper...if you skip class, & don't do the paper then you'll probably fail. Other than that you have a good chance of getting an A.

Good guy and teaches the basics. Fun lectures. Only two tests and there are study guides. Very practical and uses recent news stories in order to make the lectures relevant. If you pay attention, read sometimes and do the study guide- easy A. Would and will take him again for criminal justice classes

I JUST LOVE Mr. Siler's class. He's the best and very encouraging. He remembers faces and gives you credit for attempting to be in class. He also counts your PASS exam as an extra credit, even if you failed it. To his all that matters is that you are making an effort. Text book is not mandatory. He gives GREAT notes.

I took him two semesters in a row for two different classes, and looked to see if there was anything he taught that I hadn't yet taken because he is Just that awesome. You will learn and you will enjoy learning if you take his class.

Professor Siler was an easy A class and for those who complained, wake up and because he will be the only professor that you come across that doesn't teach out a textbook but out of current situations and relates it to the class. I took him for four courses and every single course I received an A in.

I'm a CJU major and professor Siler is the easiest of all professors in the world. His lectures are hilarious and he always interacts with his students. Whenever he gives a study guide for you to study for a test, the study guide tells you exactly what will be on the test. Uses current events as a textbook but he does uses textbook a little.

I had took professor siler for 3 classes and wish I could take him for my other courses . Really nice professor ! Easy A and he remembers you by name and face . Really enjoyed going to class and talking about current events . Really sweet professor . You dont find them like that anymore .
