Prof Straub is one of the best prof at BU! His amazing lectures+color chalks+jokes helped me understand the materials very well. He explained concepts and gave us a lot of problems to make sure we understood them. He sincerely cares for his students and wants us to do well. Extremely sad that he won't teach CH110. Awesome! The one critique I do have is the grading; in a course based on quantitative analysis, we were never given an exact picture of how our grades were calculated; I've heard that it isn't even fully quantitative, but rather a qualitative discussion among Prof Straub and the TFs about each student, which doesn't seem like the best way to grade.
