I took this class during the summer, and needless to say that I was very afraid of public speaking, like most of us. Professor Todd helped us ease our anxiety by having us working in groups most of the times, and very few "solo" speeches. He LOVES to teach and LOVES to talk. He's funny, and makes sure everyone has a good time. TAKE HIM FOR SPEECH!!

love this professor! He is awesome. First of all, I hated public speaking but he makes you feel comfortable. Dont let his appearance fool you! He looks a little old and strict but he isnt. He is down to earth, funny, and loveable. I wish my grandpa looked liked him!! :) He lets you do what you want in your speech and doesnt restrain your creativity

Great teacher! Teaches you how to public speak without you even realizing it. Pretty clever how he reduces the pressures of speaking in a group. Before this class i HATED talking in front of ppl but prof todd made us all feel very comfortable and was very helpful!! Hes super adorable and often brought us food... Hes awesome!!

Spc1024 class is super easy with Prof John, you dont even realize you are giving a speach, you will work in groups and dont even realizing you are doing what is needed. Easy A without knowing take this calls he is really hot and very helpful.

If you need a GPA (and self-esteem) boost, this is the class you need to take. By far the friendliest and charismatic professor I've ever had. Honestly, if you really want to learn the material then take another professor because I didn't learn anything. But if you just want to have fun and come out of the class feeling good about yourself, take'm!

EASY EASY EASY EASY!!! Attendance is NOT mandatory, I think I missed half the classes and still got an "A"! But you must do all your speeches (3 in total) which you must present! EASY grader! Funny and EXTREMELY NICE! Also, he tells you to buy the book but you DON'T need it!! I didn't buy it and like I said, I got an "A"!:) You'll like his class!:)

This professor is such a wonderful person. He emphasizes that in order to do a public speech, you must be comfortable with communication and social activity. He plans many different ways for us to interact with each other. You feel comfortable. The speech is intimidating, but you are given a long time to prepare.

There is no other class like this one, every class was fun and uplifting. Forget anxiety and fear, with a teacher like Prof. Todd those things do NOT exist. He is filled with so much knowledge and has so many wonderful stories to share. Broward College is losing one of the best teachers it has.

His class was an easy A you just have to show up, do your group work or assignment (if there even was any) and you'll have an A. I had him on a Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM but we would be done by 10:30-11:00 depending on how long your classmates took. Recommend him if you want a easy A, he's also funny and makes you feel comfortable.
