A little mean sometimes, but knows his stuff.
He can be fun, but takes music reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyyy seriously. Never have an attitude with him or he'll lash out at you.
he's a good teacher, and he's not like everyone else when they realize that they're ending class early and try to keep them there
No Comments
kinda un-organized.
He's nice, but the way he organizes his notes only makes sense to him! Tests are easy!
He can't spell, which was a huge pet peeve of mine. Honestly, how can you be a college professor if you can't spell? The class, however, was very easy. I knew nothing about classical music coming into the semester, but he breaks down the class so it is understandable, even to the most inexperienced music student. He is also a very nice guy.
He's an awesome teacher. He's obviously very passionate about the subject and tries to teach it in an interesting way. The tests are easy and he's really funny. He loves class participation and is a lot of fun. Pretty straight forward with what you'll need to know for the test, one of the nicest teacher's I've ever had.
GOod teacher. He likes what he is teaching so he keeps it somewhat interesting, but you HAVE to go to class. That is the only way you will get all the info.
You don't have to show up to class. He just reads his power point slides to you. I'm pretty sure they teach you that in teaching 101 (don't read right off your power point slides). If you don't do what he wants, you won't get a good grade. If you say you dislike any of the events you go to, you will fail. Tests are hard! OVERALL BAD!!!!!!!
Very unorganized notes...All you need to do is print off the test review and take notes on that. He acts sweet half the time
He can be really hard to listen to (boring.) He can be entertaining at times and is a really nice guy. He comes accross really tough and can be indimidating. He is resonable and likes what hes talking about. Music is important to him. Yawn, text, or put your head down and see what he does.
This guy thinks he is a High School teacher. Every day he treats the class to a "cell phone" hating lecture and will take them away from if it accidently goes off. He will also take time out of his lecture to publicly harass you if you yawn. Bottom line, the class is semi-easy, but this guy is a sraight up ****.
He doesnt care if you show up for class or not, but all of the information on the test are exactly from his notes. His tests were online. Boring speaker but hes easy to understand. I would recommend him.
plays favorites, tempermental
Ridiculously easy. Go to class and you'll get an easy A. This class is worthless in the first place, so it's nearly impossible to make it interesting. Reviews are annoying but Tuinstra grades easily. Doesn't care about attendance, but will randomly give extra credit when people come.
Great teacher. He gets the class involved and Always lets you out at least 10 minutes early! Super easy, Alot of writing though. If you take notes from the powerpoints you will get an A on the online tests. shows quite a few movies also. He doesnt like cell phones but it is only 45 minutes of a class. He isnt that bad of a teach
Hmmm - a bit obvious the same person has written most of the comments. Geez I wonder who?
He dosen't teach out of the book, but you should open it if you want a good grade. Study- it will come in handy. During the review for the last exam, he essentially gave us the answers. He has terrible humor, but so long as you hand in everything on time, you'll do well.
he is seriously such an easy teacher. all you have to do is go to class, he will give out random extra credit just for attending and there is no homework except for the reviews which you have to be an idiot not to get an A on them. The tests are super easy and I never studied. Take him for a teacher, it will be an easy A. Also just fyi, if you're a
You get graded on a total of 8 things, four exams and four reviews (write up about an art event). The exams are exactly what is on the PowerPoint, he doesn't put his PowerPoint's online so you have to get notes from someone if you skip. He is an extremely easy grader for the review, pretty much just attend the event. And he doesn't take attendance!
He's unorganized and flaky cuz he's an art guy. If you get that, you'll love him. Class is a joke because it's an intro to art for everyone so it has to be dumbed down. He is a great guy and will be nice to you if you just follow his rules. Tests online, a few vids in class. Reviews are fine if you actually give good reasons for your neg comments.
Very Nice but has strict rules in class like no cell phones at all times. Tests are easy and online. No homework but have to go to some plays and such. Overall Good!
A large chunk of discussion and notes show up on the test, so come to class and you will do better on the tests. Also, some random classes he offers extra credit. Just show up every day and it will benefit you. He knows his stuff. Answer questions in class and introduce yourself to him, he likes knowing names.
As long as you show up for class you'll do well.
WOTA! Reviews for recitals you attend are graded high. (lowest i got was a 90/100) if you include all the things he asks you to write about (shown in the question). Quizzes are easy if you attend the classes and take the notes! get extra credit and it will probably cover the points you drop in the quizzes. Tuinstra is dorky but fun.
Tuinstra is a nice guy who can also be pretty funny. Although attendance is not required, he always stongly encourages it. It's a good idea to show up because all his exams are online so having good notes means good exams. Grade is based on 4-100pt reviews and 4 exams. Easy guy if you just do good on exams and reviews!
If you go to class and take notes you will be fine. Tests are online and you have to attend four events and write a review about them. Fairly easy class. Tells you to turn your cellphone off everyday, which kind of gets annoying. Overall, good professor.
All 4 tests are online. If you attend class and take down all of the notes you will do fine. Not a class to skip..lecture notes and discussions will be on the tests. Write 4 reviews that are fairly easy. Great teacher and provides very detailed lectures. Knows his stuff! Will never try to trick you and is always clear on due dates. Take him!
Definitely has a fun sense of humor. Class is not recommended, but the exams are based on powerpoints that are not put online. he gave extra credit and brought donuts for those who showed up the day before break. Exam wording is tough but they're online.
Literally scolds people for yawning out loud, popping their gum, clicking their pen, etc
He is an arrogant teacher who thinks he knows everything. Tests are online but confusing and class is boring, if you have the option, take a different instructor
This guy takes the class way to seriously, and will call anyone out that is clicking a pen, yawning out loud, or popping their gum. Also no laptops allowed which really pissed me off because this class is heavy on notes. BORING.
SHOW UP TO CLASS. It totally sucks cause he takes it way too seriously, but SHOW UP. Everything on tests and quizzes comes from all of his slides in class.
By far the most boring class I have taken in my entire life and it is completely useless. He was very strict about dumb stuff like certian words to use and not having your phone on, and the lecture dragged on. I just stared at the clock the whole class but you need to be there for the notes. 4 online tests that are relatively easy.
Worst professor ever. He's so rude, will not let you yawn in class, has no compassion, will fail you even if you are in the hospital and can't get an assignment in on time. He thinks we all care about the arts, and let's get real: no one does in this class! He won't tell you any direct answers and he is SO.VERY. BORING! Don't take him EVER.
Yes he is a teacher who doesn't allow cell phones in class, yes he is a teacher who actually cares about a class. Don't get all pissy because YOU didn't like the class and he made it worse for you. The ones who are complaining are the ones who don't go to class and want to be on their phones the whole time. These ratings are inaccurate. Great guy.
In general, most students do not enjoy WOTA. I am a A/B student, and I struggled through this class. Attendance is not mandatory, but YOU NEED TO GO. The tests are from the notes, but a lot of questions are inconsistent from the powerpoints. Dr. T seems like a great person, but I wouldn't suggest taking his class.
Had him as University Band director. Dull music choices, seemed to be mostly recycled. Extremely strict about attendance, and yelled at us for people occasionally leaving the 2-hour class to go to the bathroom. Tells the same long stories over and over and tells jokes that make you more sad for him than anything else.
He was like a father to me and my classmates.... All his tests are online (meaning) easy to pass dummies!
Best world of the arts teacher. Always had class let out 10 to 15 minutes early and tests are online. Tests are also easy if you take enough notes. Very nice and easy class, I honestly enjoyed every event I went to. Highly recommend this professor.
He is really passionate about art and that reflects in his lectures. Respect and follow ALL his policies and you will ace the class with ease.
Nice guy. Let us out early ocassionally, gave extra credit for going to class right before the holiday. Attendance is not mandatory, but go. That's the only way you'll get notes and test questions stem from what is said during class. Reviews weren't too difficult, just follow the format. Tests are all online. Lecture wasn't too thrilling or boring
I took him for WOTA, which should be easy, right? Wrong! He acts like everyone is going to be an arts major. I have never missed a class and take good notes, and the tests are hard. They are specific and aren't always in the notes. I am hoping to get a B in this class which is extremely upsetting. Oh, and don't yawn in class, he gets mad.
Study before exams. it is hard to get A in his class
he is tough grader
Test are all online but you only have 50 mins to take 60+ questions
In the beginning this class seems like its going to be a lot of work, its not. His grading of papers is a guaranteed A if you at least try. Tests are easy as they are all online. No way you will get lower than a B
This class for me is really easy. He doesn't like when you yawn outloid,so I suggest when you yawn outloud,do it in a group of three + so he gets even more angry. He gives reveiw paper for four events you have to go to (dance, music, theater, and art studio). Those are what are annoying. The tests are online and you can take them with friends.. I do..
Tuinstra gives great lectures and makes this class interesting. If you go to class and take the notes and add on what you're discussing you'll do well. Tests aren't the easiest but I also don't read the assigned readings and the tests are online. Grades the four reviews easy if you follow the simple directions again. Passed with an A.
In order to do well, you have to attend. All the questions on tests and taken specifically out of lectures. The lectures are boring, but he is really into it and knows what he is talking about. The tests are online which is nice, and are usually multiple choice or true/false. Put your best effort into reviews and tests and you should pass easily.
Everything this professor does is the complete oposite of what a good professor should be. Lectures are long and boring, never straying away from just a PowerPoint and him talking the entire time. All the slides are filled to the brim most times with words you NEED to write down because he pulls random items from the notes to put on his tests.
Dr. Tuinstra asserts dominance over the class. Always take notes and you should be fine for the tests, which are online and you can bring all the notes you want. Sometimes bringing a book or having a computer on the side won't suffice. With reviews (4 total) it seems like length matters the most and if you put the effort in you'll get a good grade.
All of his lectures contain PowerPoints with notes so be sure to bring a notebook to class. Having a textbook won't hurt but it's up to you to use it. Required to write 4 reviews but was an easy grader, four exams but they're all online, so take all the notes you need. If you attend class you should be good to go.
He does know what he's talking about, but it's all lecture. The tests are all online which is nice so you can use notes. No homework other than the 4 reviews. Don't be on your phone in class and don't yawn out loud. He's not the easiest but not the hardest. Just take notes in class and pay attention and you'll be fine.
Tuinstra IS NOT A PEOPLE PERSON. He doesn't take attendance, but his exams are based off his lectures. All his exams are online but they are still very hard if you don't understand the criteria well. Very boring class, I would not recommend him.
Not very personable and wasn't very accessible. I always have great personal relationships with my professors and he wasn't into that whatsoever. Pretty strict and intense for a 100 level class. He seems to not understand that students often respect and work harder for teachers that are caring, kind and approachable.
There are four reviews that make up your whole grade, they are essays not just sentences. They are harshly graded so you need to put work into them. The professor doesn't bother to get to know any of the students. Tests are easy and online. Easy A if you work hard on the reviews. Overall the class is a pain but it is really easy.
Super awesome guy. Attendance isn't required but he gives extra credit to those who show up regularly. Tests are online so you can use your notes or book. If you show up and take notes it is super easy to do well in the class.
Dr. T can seem a little intimidating or overbearing, but he really does know his stuff. As with most WOTA classes, the assignments consist of 4 event reports and 4 tests. The tests are all online so use your notes. The lectures can get boring if you're not into the arts but as long as you go to class and take notes, the tests are a breeze.
Dr. Tuinstra was by far the worst teacher I have had in my life. Yes, My Life. Besides him being a jerk in class, he is unhelpful, test heavy, doesn't post lecture notes online, holds class on dates that no other professor would, and is a very hard grader. overall his style of teaching is awful. If you him as a professor, run. run fast.
Tuinstra has been the worse professor I have ever had. Don't let the online exam fool you, he purposely puts trick questions in there because he knows people cheat. Write down every word he says because you never know what will be on the exam. Lectures are very boring to sit through and the entire class is painfully unorganized. Hated this class.
DO NOT TAKE if you would like to feel respected or be given clear directions on anything. Gives work with no instructions on actually turning it in. Very confusing. For a 100 level GenEd his grading expectations are outrageous.
Will make you think that talking to him about a grade will make a difference, don't be fooled. Any time I've gone to him with a question or problem he talks so condescendingly that he makes me either cry or leave his class with a huge headache. Easily one of the most frustrating professor/class experiences I've ever had and I'm not a freshman.
Overall he is a nice professor. The only thing I don't like about him is that for the reviews you have to have 3-4 paragraphs for each response and sometimes there are 6 or 7 questions on the reviews. Other than that he's really nice. He's also available to give feedback on reviews during his office hours too.
He will make you work hard in a gened. His lectures are intense and full of many little details. The test's are extremely challenging even if you study. The tests are composed of many small details that you may have not had the chance to write down while during his lectures since he goes through his slides quickly.
I went to 95% of his classes, and wrote down everything he had on his PowerPoints. His PowerPoints look like he just copied and pasted items from online and it looks pretty unprofessional for the most part. He grades really heavily on every assignment. I used my notes and personal laptop to lookup answers online and it doesn't seem to work on exams
Tests are extremely hard and he's a very tough grader on the reviews .
Had good grades throughout the whole semester and found it to be an easy class. However, for one of my reviews I lost my ticket and forgot that you can reprint your ticket, so I went to a different play and wrote a review. I emailed him about it, but he never answered and gave me a zero on the review
I am not a fan of Dr. Tuinstra. He tends to speak in a very condescending tone and acts offended when you approach him for questions. Others who have him regularly as a professor seem to like him, but he is just not my cup of tea.
This professor is possibly the most old-fashioned, stuffy, rude, condescending person I have ever met. In an ensemble of music majors and non-music majors, he acts like everyone should have the same amount of experience. Not to mention that he expects us to read his mind. He is also incredibly rude to students who he thinks don't perform well.
His grading scale to get an A- you have to get a 93 or higher otherwise you dont get an A. He is stubborn and doesnt like to talk about assignments with you. The test are like 70 questions and you only get 50 minutes to take them, and he purposely makes the test so hard. If i knew he was like this beforehand i would NOT have taken him.
Good teacher. Do the assignments and pay attention, and you'll do fine.
This class was very easy for me as someone who already has a background in music. The one thing I had a hard time with is that is was a small classroom, with the lights turned down so you could read the powerpoint, and the professor talks VERY loud. With all that combined I came away from most of those class periods with a headache.
I had a great experience with this professor. He sent us our agenda and expectations weeks before the class started, so you knew what you had coming that semester. He is very fair with his grading of discussions and reviews. Just do the work and you'll be fine. Quizes can be difficult, so take notes and study.
Test are too hard for a level 100 class
Dont take this guy for gened110
Don't even think about taking this professor. Extremely condescending and rude. If you aren't an art major he will not like you and treat you like garbage. Lecture slides aren't online and his tests are impossible.
Online tests
Lot's of lectures. Class is very boring & tough to go to. He knows what he's talking about, but he shoves a lot of info down your throat. He can be pretty rude too. The tests are pretty difficult, but they're online which is nice. You have to attend 4 different events, & the papers are super boring to write, but you will get an A if you do it right
He puts trick questions on all of his tests in hopes of tripping up students. Grades assignments as if students are all art majors. I would not recommend taking his class, there are likely much better options at uww.
Do not take him. Super tough grader, he expects everyone to have the same background as an arts major. Way too intense for a 100 level Gened. Super condescending in his responses to discussion posts. Expects 12-15 paragraphs for each review. I don't think he's ever given anyone full points on any assignment. Way better options at UWW than this guy.
Worst professor Ive ever had. Do not take him!!
Dr. T was very good at answering any and all questions I had, and was very honest in grading Reviews. My one complaint is that the reviews require some amount of outside class obligation to attend events. I work when I'm not in class as I am a non-traditional student that has a mortgage and other bills to see to first. Dr. T was very accommodating.
He screams when he teaches. Show up to class please. Strict due dates... Like turn in ALL your papers on time because if not you will fail. He is SUPER boring!
Very full of himself and screams while teaching. Would not recommend him to anyone!
Dr. T made what should have been an easy class extremely difficult. He is a tough grader and will take points off of your assignments on questions that are sheer opinion. The class is disorganized and I would NOT recommend.
Very difficult to work with. I asked easy questions for help in the class multiple times and he was very rude about helping or not helping at all. I also tried to schedule appointment with him to talk over tests and ask for help and it was close to impossible to meet with him. He is very entitled and rude to students. Avoid him as a teacher.
As a student who pays so much to be here I am extremely disappointed this man still works at UW Whitewater. He is very hard to get ahold of and is rude when you ask any kind of question. He makes you feel stupid and has very little respect for his students. Treats the class as second class citizens like we arent paying towards his paycheck.
Terrible at teaching people that are new to all art aspects. Expects you to have way more background than most usually do. Tests are so hard, papers are so boring. Do not recommend for anyone!
This class was way harder than it should of been with him as the professor.
An alright professor. Came off initially as pompous and a hard teacher at first. The reviews you have to write for GENED110 are horrible, but the tests were online and right from the notes. He expects you in class everyday, on time for the most part. More light-hearted as he gets to know you. Wouldn't recommend him but don't worry if you have to.
Kind of pretentious, but not the worst. Don't forget to do and turn in your reviews
Very tough class especially if you are not interested in the arts.
Very passionate about all art forms. He knows his stuff too. If you put in quality effort, you will get a good grade. That's all he wants. I think it helps to visit him during his office hours (even if the class is online). It allows you to build rapport with him which will overall help you in the class. For a 100-level course it is a lot of work.
Really agressive and extremely picky. You are not allowed to speak in class or ask questions- you can only ask questions outside of class. The reviews are extremely demanding and you must remember absoulutely everything from the performance or you will probably have a tough time meeting his review expectations. Overall, I would not recommend him.
I took his WOTA online and it was discussion questions and a couple quizzes. His discussion questions require super long responses and hes a very tough grader that almost never gives positive feedback. He will rarely give you a 100% on them and theres always something missing in your answer that he has to comment on. I would not recommend him.
This professor is not it. WOTA is supposed to be a GENED that anyone and their mother can pass. He has extremely difficult work compared to any other WOTA professor. If you can get someone else, DO IT! His work load is insane. He is not prepared for online learning either. He had all summer to prepare and didn't.
Overall an okay professor but wouldnt take him again. Two discussion posts per week, 4 reviews throughout the semester, and quizzes after each unit. For reviews he expects 3-5 paragraphs for each question and there are usually 4 questions. Powerpoints very vague in online class. Also, very slow grader so youre not sure how youre doing at all.
Grades a little differently than the university standard. For example, if you get a 92% thats considered a B+ to him. Its not an A- until it hits 93%. Syllabus was also all over the place. One page said he takes 5 points off per day for late reviews, another page says late reviews are a 0 and he does not accept them at all.
Sometimes very unclear in his directions, and when asking for clarification he tends to be rude. Winterim WOTA class. Very tough grader on discussion posts and doesn't make it clear exactly what he is looking for within the discussions.
For a Gen Ed, it was unnecessarily hard and was a ridiculous amount of work for a 100 level class. Really hard grader, I never got higher than a 77 on an assignment, if your critique doesn't match his opinions he'll probably give you around a 60.
Very rude and the work load is just crazy for what the class is
This class is based off discussions, reviews and quizzes. He does not give clear due dates for the quizzes and closes them so be sure to keep up with that. The lectures provide hardly anything that you can learn so the quizzes/tests and discussions are very difficult.
Rudest teacher I have ever had. I definitely recommend staying away from any of his classes.
This class is supposed to be a GENED. he makes it unbelievably hard and is one of the rudest teachers I have ever had. Stay out of his class at any cost. UWW needs to do better and not have him as a teacher anymore based on how badly he is rated. I passed with a good grade but he is a awful human.
dont take him. he makes the class way harder than it has to be & is a super hard grader. hes very rude & if you miss lecture, you have to rely on other students to get notes. doesnt put any notes online & skips through the slides really fast in class. he offered 2 extra credit opportunities but didnt announce them so do all the assignments.
Professor Tuinstra is a great professor. While the class is difficult and has a lot of work, it's really not that hard. He is very educated and will answer questions when asked. Not sure why he has so many bad ratings... people must not know how college courses actually run lol (its meant to be hard).Follow and read the syllabus and you WILL pass:)
This class was way too for a level 100 class. My higher level classes were easier. He was way too tough on grading. Avoid taking Core 110 with him.
I enjoy Dr. T's teaching style, but I can see how he wouldn't be for everyone. He can be a bit rude at times. I got called out for yawning too loud in class. This class is not that hard if you actually show up. He doesn't take attendance, but your grade will hurt if you're not there. Quizzes are easy, but he grades the Event Reviews way too hard.
T isn't the worst but isn't the best. His lectures are lengthy and can be boring at times, while he does speed through them, causing you to miss notes. His reviews are terrible, they require 3-5 paragraphs per question (4-5 questions). You need to go because he does not upload notes to Canvas if you miss, so enjoy the people around you like me.
Ridiculous grading for a GENED class. WOTA is supposed to be a fun and easy class, and he ruins it. No matter what you say or do, you fail. I swear he purposefully tries to fail students. I beg of you, do not take him. Make sure you reply with a full essay and read his mind to get full credit. He is pathetic.
This is a professor that will talk at you. His lectures are boring, but he tries to make it funny or somewhat fun. If class doesn't talk or doesn't know answer to question, he will get mad and rant to the class. Very good at explaining what he wants. No homework, but very test heavy. Not bad, but not the best professor. I would take him again.
Tuinstra is a very cool teacher. His lectures get long and boring, but I have done hardly any homework besides the 4 art reviews you have to do in every Core 110 class. I find myself laughing at him a lot. Easy A all quizzes and even final is online outside of class.
When there were problems with anything (students missing class, late assignments, badly graded assignment), the students would go to talk to him at the end of class and form a line where the front student gets berated and embarrassed for whatever the problem was, and then the next would come up--rinse and repeat. Not understanding, very rude.
if you can take a different professor for wota, i would. he is not horrible but is very aggressive and has super strict policies on attendance, phone usage, and talking. he yells at students for chewing gum too loudly and yawning... tests are not super hard, all online. but arts reviews are tedious and he is SUPER STRICT on grading them.
Heavy on vocab and difficult grader. Uses lockdown browser
As long as you show up to class and take notes you will be fine. All quizzes are online with lockdown browser. I dreaded doing the arts reviews but as long as you try to sound like you know what your talking about, you'll do ok. I always felt like mine made no sense and I never got below a B-. Try's making class interesting although its boring.
Tuinstra made us pay $13 to buy the syllabus and slide positions on the trombone from the bookstore. He is extremely rude to students, so it's no wonder why his WOTA class is the last to fill up every semester. He once kicked a student out of class for saying bless you to someone who sneezed.
The lectures are boring but if you take decent notes you will be good on the exams (which are online). The hardest part is the 4 arts reviews which he grades tediously but I never scored below a 45/50 on mine. Also, he's very old school so its his way or the highway. Do what's asked, show up and take good notes and you will get a B< easily.
Take this class online! It was lecture heavy, tests based on lectures and were relatively easy. The arts reviews were graded super harshly and required a lot of work and prior knowledge of the arts. I recommend taking someone else unless you're an arts major because Dr. Tuinstra is a hard grader but is a great teacher and I learned a lot.
I'm a good student, mostly A's some B's, but I had to work my butt off in this class. You could do the papers in one night, but he is very tough on grading them. Your only chance of doing good on the quizzes are going to class, and even then he uses material that isn't even mentioned. I tell all my friends to not take him, and now I'm telling you.
Professor Tuinstra's CORE110 class has a lot of work, but using resources like unstuck ai alongside the textbook can help manage the heavy workload. Lectures are lengthy, but attending is crucial. Overall, it's a challenging yet rewarding class if you put in the effort.
Tuinstra is a good guy and I enjoyed his lectures but they are long. If you want to good on the tests you have to show up to class as they directly refer to the lectures. I think this class is too difficult for a gened 100 level class but if you show up and take notes on paper (to use on LockDown browser exams) you will get a B at the lowest.
Tuinstra is intimidating at first, he doesn't like phones in class/ loud yawning/ etc., so try to avoid that. There is a textbook but you don't use it. The art reviews have very strict guidelines so follow them carefully. I believe he wants the best for his students, but he can come off as stern which is off-putting for people, he's not that bad.
not bad. not amazing
The first week I thought this class would suck. Over the course of the semester, I was won over. Sitting in the front and participating makes the lectures a little less boring. I found him a little funny with his quirks. Only 4 writing assignments (1 page) and 7 quizzes that you do at home (30ish minutes). No homework is nice just take notes.
Not the worst professor to have but many flaws. Most of your grade is based on 4 reviews one of each arts category (Music, Theatre, Dance, Art). The others are quizzes that you must be in the lecture to understand. But all of these are online. They kind of sucked but I can understand why they must be done. Don't Yawn too loud he will confront you.
He loves his lectures like its his first born child. He hates students and has a hard on for art. He yelled at a kid for sneezing. do not take
HOLY UNC. This man does not know how the internet works at all. He doesn't know how to access a PDF, JPEG, PNG, or Word document. None of my other professors had problems accessing my assignments except for him. He is an outdated professor who needs to put the fries in the bag ASAP. #WASHED #retirement #wedonewiththe90s #old
Very passionate about what he teaches, maybe a little too passionate as he gets into very specific depth about each topic. Quizzes are take-home and graded manually, and on lockdown browser. Very tough grader on the event reviews, never handed out As. My core 120 and 130 classes were free As but I had to work much harder in this class just for a B+
DO NOT TAKE Lectures are boring. The structure of the course jumps around. Very tough grader on reviews. The final quiz had an average of a 70% and wasn't curved. Take anyone else. Also don't yawn out loud he will call you out.
He was strange. Took himself very seriously and loved the word CONVOLUTED. Arts are normally not the worst topic to learn, but he somehow made this 100 level course really hard. Everything everyone is saying about not yawning, listen to them. Also don't sneeze, he doesn't like that.
