The mark he gives you is only based on how well he thinks you are.I am sure he doesn?t mark 4th part of the final exam coz it's theory n MC; which he hates most. the things he tells you in class is not up to date;his handouts is not accurate; he laughs at students? comments, and it doesn?t even bother him to think why lots of students hate him.

I hate his class. Sorry I am a good diligent student. Avoid him at all costs, otherwise you will have nightmares every night.

He is super fast, you have to keep up with his pace otherwise you won't learn anything. He won't teach you the easy way to do things, he will teach you his own prehistoric way. This guy takes pleasure in seeing students failing for not being able to solve his challenging exam problems!!

This is really good at accounting but hes a terrible teacher, theres a difference. He only helps the students who understands the subject, and leaves the others behind. and he makes u buy donuts for the class if he sees you on your phone in class. You have to be outside of the class to use yur phone.

Terrible teacher! Even if your answers are right, if you do not do the answers his way you will fail. Makes lame jokes, he has his favorites in class, and if he ever seen you with phone you are in trouble. He also attacks different cultures and languages, it's ridiculous. Don't take him!!!!!!

He is by far the worst accounting prof I've had to date. I raised my hand in class and he gave me a nod then ignored my question. Some questions on his tests were never taught in class. Please do yourself a favour and don't take his class.

Should be simple: To get/do the job you need to pass CPA; to pass CPS you need to learn the textbook. Varga does not teach what's in the textbook. He can't help you become an accountant, teaches things you don't need, doesn't teach you what you do need, teaches out of date methods.

Doesn't go over the textbook material, just reviews exercises. If you ask a question, he won't answer it, he'll just tell you to read the book. Gave out notes that were a little helpful, but stopped because one kid pulled out his cellphone; his irrational hatred for cellphones made him less helpful. Avoid him like the plague.

You obviously need the book for financial accounting course but if you do not purchase the ebook online you basically can't use your Willey online if you have the hardcopy book purchased. He refuses to help just because he doesn't know how to use Wiley. so many students prefers the online version just because you can practice and see you mistakes.

He is the worst. He wont see the hard work you put in. His teaching ability is one way and is not inclusive in the class when it comes to participating. Visual/kinesthetic learners dont take him. If you have accommodation he is not understanding at all dont take him. He wont even read your emails (even tho you do it the way he asks) wont help.

This teacher is one of the worst teacher you could possibly get. During 4 months of class he did not mention anything about assignment and all of the sudden he gave us an assignment for 10% OF FINAL GRADE exactly 4 days before the final exam. yeah, exactly 4 days before the whole semester ends!!!!! He's scam of my tuitions for sure. I have him during the summer semester with one more professor. Him is just awful. There are only problem solving during Test/exam. 5-8 questions with lockdown browser. I am not sure if that even allow in the school system. literally almost the entire class fail. Overall a bad experience.

The professor is good but when it comes to test and exam is very heavy that even a professional one can't complete it. Professor should be more considerate in letting the students passed because thats the reason they are teaching, he should assessed first how many minutes an average student can finished one questions with sub questions.

His teaching style is not for everyone. If you take his class you will have to do most of the studying on your own. He is not a bad person he just doesn't know how to deliver the material for his students to grasp the concept of the work, which ended up in a lot of students failing or almost failing. REPORT HIM SO OTHERS DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER!!!!!!

Worst professor. Takes exams on pen and paper. Should retire ASAP. Very tough grader. Not taking him again ever. Tried to change him by contacting dean as well, badluck.

Once a again, love yourself enough and stay away this prof. I don't know why he is still teaching after many many students reported about this prof to CfB about his teaching quality and tests as if school and the prof do that for a purpose. 10 quizzes and 2 long homework before the final 2 weeks, test and exam are super super heavy, good luck

Tough, unfair prof, avoid if possible. He spends the class doing examples, which is helpful. But there is no actual lecture, so a lot of theory is lost. His tests are extremely long, difficult, and unfair. He says it will be just like the examples he does in class, but then throws in tricks which changes everything. Way, way too long. AVOID!

If you want to fail by 0.5 percent and waste an extra semester and fees, definitely go for him.

Hey professor John, if you read this comment, I hope you will feel guilty for what you have done to your students and your international students in general. I know you are the Coordinator or the head of Business department (whatever it's called) so that every complaint about you by students to CfB will always be ignorant and rejected.

Dear prof John, every other professor I have taken before they acknowledge student's dedication and hard work and they will grade students base on what student's ability can learn and do. Your test and assignment even the professional one can't pass. You just try everything to make it harder to pass. Assignment and test only 6/30 students can pass!

I know John just want all of his students failed so that they retake the course and pay money to the school. That's why so many students complained but he still can teach. The tests are exactly the same from last semester so you just pay the full tuition to know the test. Basically it's a scam. I think that's your karma makes your dog died hahahaha

I'm sure all the tests and exams of this prof are way way harder than it's supposed to be.I take this course with him and other professor. Test 1 I did with him is terrible (4/20%) but test 2 and final I did with the other prof was 16/20 and 24/30. I study and did the same way but results is different, it says a lot about the difficulty of his test

his lectures aren't structured,has an arbitrary schedule to follow which causes him to rush through important concepts and refuse to go over them for the sake of time. The lectures will consist of solely doing journal entries and calculations and then the exams will have 80% of the marks doing financial statements which you havent practiced at all

Had to take this course twice and yet failed. The question papers are same every semester, only the values change. I feel the only good reviews are given by the professor himself. I'd not suggest anyone to take him. It's not challenging to pass it is almost impossible. He won't give marks for the assignments. If you do fine 4, if really good then 6

John is the perfect definition of how worst could be the professor. Stubborn and not answering emails are old stuff let me tell you new. Still I don't know how much is scored in final exam, nothing is on DTL or stu view. The day he completed his last chapter next class it was an exam for 180.he takes exam from his own work not from wille book.

If you really want to see where you truly stand by learning everything by yourself. He is not going to teach anything; he is only going to read those answers. Basically, reading slides and then earning money. Many of my friends had their goti in their mouth but one of our friends didn't survive this course. Consider other options please.!!!!!!!!

He is a racist, If you are person with colour, forget about passing his subjects. He will fail you again and again and again and intentionally will give you 1 out of 30 in assignments even though you did it with a lot of hard work, If you are a white student, without submitting your assignments you will get full marks.

Had plenty of terrible professor during my lifetime and this one is a high contender for being the worst teacher i`ve ever had. Not only does he not care about his students, but also his jokes are not funny nor appropriate for a class environment. Too many comments that made me and other students uncomfortable, especially towards female students.

15-20 questions per chapter, 3-4 chapters per test; good luck internalizing all that on the tests he doesn't properly prepare students for. Sometimes he lacks patience to help someone who genuinely needs help with certain concepts, but he blatantly remarks "you should already know this!" He makes jokes that feel forced and tiring to watch.
