His is great! he teaches u wat you gotta know and he makes everyone laugh! he is hilarious and helpful and the same time....MR.V is the best!!!!!
He is a very easy teacher. If u want a teacher Mr. Verosky is the guy to have. He makes it simple for u to learn by breaking down the math step by step and section by section. U'll get an A in the class for sure. So take Mr. V if u want a good grade.
Mr V is a good teacher. Knows the material well. Very helpful and always gives good examples. Great teacher to take.
Although this class was not easy, Mr. Veroski try to make it really easy. He gives you practice test that very identical as actural test and he is very nice.
HAHAH, VEROSKI RULES! This guy is the best math instructor, I recommend anyone to take him! This guy is so rad
Mr. Veroski is the best math instructor ever. Just look at these reviews. He does a very thorough review of his exams, and the homework assignments are tailored to them. I recommend taking him if you have trouble with math, He goes out of his way to make sure everyone understands.
This is the easiest and most interesting class ever. Mr. Verosky never bores his students. He tells jokes. If he makes mistakes, he always fixes it. Tests are easy as long as you attend his review sessions. No homework collection. Always very helpful if you ask him anything.
He is a very nice guy, he is willing to help anyone with a question and try his best to help you understand the subject. His tests are very easy, he has a review before all his tests. The review is the exact same thing as the real test, he just change the numbers but uses the same steps as the review.
He's a great teacher. I've taken him three times including Math 70 currently. He does go off topic sometimes but that balances the class out from being super serious and fun. Do your homework and you'll do good on the tests.
He is a highlander. If u don't know the meaning of the word "highlander", ask him. The problems that he assigns are pretty wild. But he makes many jokes in the class. I like him.
hes a really good teacher but he sometimes is kinda boring. he'll help you if you ask and explains things really clearly.

This teacher is great. He goes over all the problems, but sometimes sounds like Ben Stein. I was horrible at Math, but he will help you succeed like he helped me. He counts attendance and homework, but it somewhat lenient.
To be honest his class is not really easy but he is willing to help you out if you ask questions. The downside is that he spends the 1st half hour of class joking and talking.Anyway whether you pass the class or not its guaranted that you will learn something about cacrouches, cats & mouse, and most of all "Highlander".
he is a wonderful teacher, it is so fun to take his class. And very helpful too. if u got stuck in any problem just ask him... so nice... recommend this teacher
he is a funny teacher, he is very very easy to pass his class, you do not have to show much work to his homework, his tests are easy as long as you do show the work the for homework (ironically), he lets you use the whole calculus book for his final, however, study up in his class anyway for an guarenteed A
This was the easist class I have taken since 3rd grade.
Great Teacher! Funny, easy, and helpful! Take his class!!
Total Dork, in the best possible way. He is very interested in the topic and makes it relevant. I can't say that I actually retained any info but that may have more to do with me than him. However, I passed the class with an easy A.
This course was developed by John Verosky for people like me -- smart with words, hopeless with numbers. Do your part, and he's kind, fair, reasonable, and makes the class fun. He's a real pro (I'm sure he's just as good when he teaches calculus). Don't let mathphobia ruin your life! Take this class so you can go on with college!
He is the best math teacher I have ever had. His class is fun, interesting, and straigthforward. Exams are not difficult if you ACTUALLY study. He is very technical. You will learn alot of math techniques for him. His class can get rid of your math phobia.
Great Teacher! I hate math, but I loved his class and before I could look at my watch, it was already almost over every day. If you are transferring to SFSU, this is the class and instructor to take to satisfy math requirement! Doesn't transfer to UC. I can't speak for his other courses, but he was a great teacher for this one. take him!
VERY VERY VERY EASY! he spends the whole class time talking about everything that DOESNT have to do with math haha. just remember to go to class on days after a test or holiday, its double or triple attendance day
Pretty wierd teacher, but the class is really easy. Only four assignments due during the whole semester. Allows you to bring notes during test days. Has study sessions a week before the test. Basically, tells you what is going to be on the test. Doesn't explain thoroughly though. Hard to understand at times. Talks off topic all the time.
I LOVE THIS TEACHER!I hate math but i actually got an A in his class. He's very clear and its very easy to understand him. He tell funny jokes sometimes and his class isnt boring at all. He allow cheat sheet for test and wil give out review sheets and go though them before the test. He's the BEST MATH TEACHER in CCSF!
He is VERY NICE, he offers review questions prior to the exam which is really helpful. as well as, his lecture is very unique and interesting!!!! TAKE HIM IF U HATE MATH!
He is a very nice person, but get distracted very easily. The class was okay. However there is homework almost on a daily basis. One great thing about him is that he gives double, triple attendance after the holidays or test days.
Very nice guy and funny. He tells stories rather than teaches math in the class. Bring up any questions if you have or he will never explain them. He willing to help after class or in the office. His exams are very esay.
Very easy teacher. He was personally very rude to me for no good reason, but nice to everyone else. The class was so easy I'd take it again even though his attitude really put me off.
I love this guy's sense of humor, but he's also a great teacher. No ego here-he realizes that for most people math is just a class you HAVE to take and doesn't make it unnecessarily hard to make himself feel more important. He's there to help you, available outside of class, & always answers all of your questions. Great pre-test study guides too.
extremely unorganized, his sylabus doesn't talk about attandance or grading policies at all, a few homework, very easy and very nice guy.
Talks off subject a lot. Told stories for most of the class. Funny teaher. Makes the class laid back and easy. He knows that math is a hard subject, so he does what he can to help people pass. Helpful practice tests. Open notes, open book exams.
This guy might be the best and easiet Math teach Ive taken at City. He is very helpful and wants you to pass. TAKE HIM!!!!!
This was the most helpful knowledgeable Math teacher that I have taken. He is very patient and compassionate for us folks who are not so great at Math or have been out of school for awhile.I would highly recommend him.You will learn from him and have fun while your at it.
Great teacher and brilliant personality. He's the typical dork you can expect from a math teacher but yet he's a genuinely nice guy. Take his class if you want to end your math nightmares. He's helpful and easy in the exams.
Please think twice before taking the class. may be his other Math classes such as Math70 or Math80 are easy. It is very hard on Calculus. His test are simple, but very very tricky. 1. Attendance is not mandatory (he is easy on attendance and barely takes the roll. 2. No Cheat sheet. not an easy A. again if you want to get A , think again taking hi
I love this teacher, nut not for math 80 :( His other math courses where very well explained. I don't know what happened this time around,(not the same structure, or clear explanations of material) I would not recommend him for Math 80.
I love this teacher, nut not for math 80 :( His other math courses where very well explained. I don't know what happened this time around,(not the same structure, or clear explanations of material) I would not recommend him for Math 80.
Possibly the worst teacher ever. He spends 40 out of the 50 minutes talking things that have nothing to do with the subject matter. Anything you learn has to be out of the book because he's too busy talking about daily menutia. Good sense of humor and nice, but that does not make a good teacher. Take someone else if you're looking to actually learn
This semester, I am taking his Math 110B and Math 80 class. In Math 110A/110B, he explains where equations come from, how it used very well. When I walk into Math 80, it's just looking at chart, plugging in numbers, etc. What happen to the concept? Overall, he's a great teacher, but if you choose to take his class, take him for Calculus, Not Stats.
Taking his 110B and 80 class at the same time. Great class. Explains well. Take him for Calculus.
He hooked us up with extra points to whoever went to class. Quite a bit of extra credit opportunities. A big sausage fest as I ended up being 1 out of the 3 or 4 girls by the end of the semester. But a fun class to be in overall. He wants his students to learn even though the whole class gets sidetracked in conversations. Easy class, just study.
Greatest math teacher in CCSF.Easy grader!Very helpful. If you want to end your math nightmare, take MR.VEROSKY's class. You will begin to love math bc of him.
He is nice guy and very approachable. If u are a good studen take him. If not, then he may be hard to understand. He tries to help but is very disorganized. NO extra credit, but helps u with practice test's. If u struggle with math dont take him find someone else.
ATTN:Future CSU/SFSU students...if you want an easy math course for your quantitative reasoning requirement, take this course w/this teacher--trust me. He gives you points for attendance, and we skipped over a lot of the chapters. He goes over any homework probs U need help with. For exams, U R allowed a cheat sheet & your book. Very funny guy!
Like the previous comment, this teacher is easy. Plus he is hilarious with all these stories and he would always say " isn't this fun?" This teacher loves math and it shows. He just try to make it easy and fun for you to learn. But there isn't much math involved like algebra.
man this teacher is hilarious! he gets off topic but hey less material to cover. he will go over a problem until u understand it. one time we were suppose to have a quiz but i convinced him we shouldn't and ended taking a class quiz which made it so easy. i recommend this guy for an easy grade and a lot of laughs
He is a wonderful teacher. I learned a lot and he is extremely helpful. He can be hilarious at times because of his dry humor. I would definitely take him again if I had the chance. Always gives out a practice test before the actual test and it looks exactly the same! Highly recommend him for 110A
Mr Verosky's Math 75 class seemed easy in the beginning until the calculus stuff. He allows you to use a cheat sheet for each exam which helped a lot. He usually talks off topic, but he has enough time to lecture the material. He's very helpful with questions and his humor is pretty funny at times. Great professor!
Im sure this guy use to be good, but when I took him for 110A, he was hopeless. This guy would skip so many steps that youll be lost in a matter of minutes. I would recommend some other professor than this guy. Someone who can actually teach Calculus with step-by-step and not by skipping steps. Take him only if you want to work extra hard for an A.
Taking him right now, he is a horrible teacher. gets distracted easily, skips many steps and tries to scare off people adding. He actually reads these reviews and i think he'll like this one ;)
i was dreading taking statistics, but mr verosky is awesome. hysterical. a cross between woody allen and tommy chong from cheech and chong. i mean that in a good way. i learned some stuff, too.
I agree with the person below me. Definitely a Woody Allen feel. I was pretty intimidated knowing that I had to take statistics but Professor Verosky was easy-going and made sure that everyone was really well prepared for the tests. He really simplified the material in this class and eliminated all of the unnecessary BS complications.
I also wanted to add that he isn't that clear and not always easy to understand (I even think he confuses himself sometimes) but try not to get too frustrated because he'll go over the tests enough beforehand that you have no choice but to understand the material. Maybe he should also cut back on the Republican bashing a tad ;).
Very nice & easygoing, but boring. NO homework,u can do it for practice. Not everyday take attendance, always Mon & Thu. Quiz is super easy cos he will give u a preview be4 the quiz & teach u how to do it. Actually, the preview is the same questions as the real one but different numbers. Allow cheat sheet(u can bring the preview answer copy & change
john is a awesome math teacher, he talked so much about the recent news to us, and did a lot of the math experiments for us, so funny also..love it
Very good teacher, the way he thinks about math is cool. Be ready to ask questions cause he knows lots of tricks. The course is not any more difficult than the material. Some said Woody Allen but actually more like Norm McDonald (who is a comic genius btw)
Hes very chilled and can learn all the important things in course, not useless stuff dat u dont need in future. if u need help just visit him in office hes always dere, takes attendance randomly. WILL NOT CURVE ANY GRADE, EVEN IF YOUR 1% AWAY FROM AN A.
THIS teacher is awesome but mono tone. however, this teacher is way too easy. no FINAL project like other teachers. 4 test and final. each test has one page of cheat sheet, open book. final you are able to use all past cheat sheets. 1 week before test, he goes over all problems and how to do it exactly. the test is in the exact order as he tells yo
He is so cool, pretty straight forward and stick with text book(well quite often, cuz this fall text book quite new so some chapter he skip on purposes). But overall, he is great teacher, grading is fair(only minus 2 or 3 pts deduct for mistakes).
Dr. John Verosky is the best professor I've ever had. He makes math totally fun and understandable. Great sense of humor. He's a super nice guy who's more than willing to help you during office hours. If you get a chance, definitely take a math class from Dr. Verosky.
the best instructor at ccsf..he talks clearly and his teaching is easy to understand...he is straight to the point, and i just study from my notes, just focus on the lecture and you will be fine.. i dont even bother to look at the book, it didnt helped me at all..Overall,,,HE IS AN EXCELLENT PROFESSOR..the best..
Took Mr.V for Stats. Wow he's such a cool guy.REally funny. He always jokes out of work problems and he tells the funniest stories. His quizzes and test are really easy if you make sure not to miss lectures and reviews and take notes. For his stats class textbok is not necessary. I wish all professors were as laid back and easy going as he is.
this guy is such a knowledgeable sweetie. he explains everything so clearly and well, even a person like me who still counts on their fingers understood the material with his assistance. he even provided me help when my own professor (kaiser) wouldnt. had i taken him to begin with, my toosh would have long been at Berkeley!
Good teacher but the book he had us use for spring 2012 was terrible which did not help me prepare for any of the quizez he gave us. Heard he is more easier in the summer cause cuts down on some chapters.
CLASS COMEDY ACT. YOU WILL NOT GO A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHING, unless you have no soul... Funny professors, life lessons and teaches with interesting concepts and ideas. Sometimes runs off topic but makes up for it by steadily teaching. Attend class do your work. ALTHOUGH PEOPLE TALK A LOT IN HIS CLASS AND HE IS TOO NICE
Only easy in Math 80. Hard in alg and I hear in calc too. Expects students to study hours. Lectures a mess: rambles, tells stories, material in random order scattered all over the board. Tests strange never seen before questions. True he sometime funny but boring too. Repeats things like "a squared plus b squared" everyday. Gets mad if u text.
He makes me want to cry because he's so nice. summer class is easy and he's a lenient grader. 4-5 tests, no hw. You can use a cheat sheet on the test(put w/e you want on it). Half my answers were wrong since I forgot 1 step(show your work) but he only deducted 3 pts total! Seldom use of book(its free). Just pay attn and study your notes u will pass
Holy smokes, this class is easy and this is coming from someone who usually gets TERRIBLE grades in math. You dont even need the book. Come to class, PAY ATTENTION, takes notes and an A-B will easily be obtainable. He lets you use a cheat sheet on tests. No hw! He will go over the types of questions that will be presented on the tests. No trick Q's
He is such a great, witty teacher. I just listen to his lectures and ask questions when I'm not clear on something. No textbooks needed unless for homework problems.
He is not good at explaining Calculus. But he is willing to help you and spend time with you. His exams are really easy though. A very very generous grader!!
I thought this guy was a bum the first day of class. He's a goofy character, always joking or telling stories. He will teach you some pretty useful tricks for learning math. His class isn't easy, but his tests are. He lets you use a cheat sheet, and graphing calculator. He goes on tangents about Calculus and Trig so don't take him unless you care!
Very nice professor. I took his class for MATH 75. He does clearly explain to his students the best approach to learn and demonstrate mastery in Mathematics!
He always joking or telling stories. He lets you use a cheat sheet, and graphing calculator. Very easy to pass!
Doesn't grade homework, final grade based entirely on exams. Didn't like that he didn't have a planned schedule; you were notified of exams just a few days prior ("let's have a test this Friday, whaddaya say?"). He's a nice, mellow guy, but the lack of structure and the spontaneity is just awful for full-timers who have to budget weekly study time.
Amazing teacher. I've always had trouble in math classes, but this was different. Professor Verosky really knows what he's talking about but still teaches it in a really fun and relaxed way. Sometimes I felt like he wasn't even talking about the class but when I did the homework I understood everything because of his lecture. Great character.
Mr. Verosky is the man with the Math plan!!! he knows math well, he will teach you math, you will then pass math class! he is the joking man, many a day go by and he make many a joke... but for real just take his class if your not a idiot and it will be a walk in the park to higher math classes
Don't take him he does not cover the material and does not help
He is a really nice teacher who pops in a few jokes here and there. Some are funny and some are not. He is also very willing to help if you had any questions.
Verosky doesn't really teach unless you ask, which nobody ever does. He kind of just talks. He really sets you up to pass the quizzestests, but thats not such a good thing. If you don't study on your own outside of class you WILL get slaughtered in Calc. Easy grade, but I wouldn't recommend him if you don't come into class ready to ask questions.
Mr. Verosky is seriously such a sweetheart. He teaches well without being serious, he compares a lot a things he teaches to real life which makes things a lot more easier to understand. He really takes the pressure off of being scared about math. He gives practice test that explains everything that will be tested, he also allows cheat sheets.
Very clear about what's on the upcoming tests. Usually one per chapter. His lectures can be a little all over the place, but if you have questions prepared from hw, he will work through them. Doesn't collect hw, but you need to do it in order to do well. Allows a cheat sheet. Love this guy, funny and so mellow.
Professor Verosky is a down-to-earth guy and he knows his stuff. He's a really good teacher, clear in his lectures, and tells you exactly what you need to study for a test. His class was pretty tough because Calculus is hard in general... There's a lot of things that you need to memorize and understand. But if you need help, Verosky will be there.
I personally like prof. Verosky. Knowledgeable professor, and funny. He should just be more prepared when it comes to doing hw on the board. AND BE ORGANIZED!
Best math teacher I ever had!!! I love professor verosky, he is just the best, if you put attention to his lectures you will do well on the tests. Easy A.
I showed up only about half the time and got an A because he is extremely clear about what he expects feom you. No homework, but tests count for 25% while finals counts for 70% and the rest is probably attendance (I don't know) either way, take him and ask questions when you need. He's so awesome.
Took him several times! Amazing teacher! Lectures are a little bit boring but hes a cool guy! For math 95 and trig, he explains his material very clearly! Allows cheat sheets on exams. Highly recommended professor!!!!
Trig is my favorite subject this semester because prof is so awesome! Teaches in a way that's accessible and not intimidating. Material is easy to conceptualize and remember. He does not believe in being pedantic and obviously enjoys teaching trig (and drawing trig stuff). Good tests. Adorable, looks like a math prof and often covered in chalk.
I had an F (24%) during midterms, I had 1 month to pull my grade up which I did to a B (80%). I am in shock but he is fair, judges your progress not the beginning of the semester. He wants to see you work hard, go to office hours & ask for help! Your grade is 100% based on your exams, 4 tests & 1 final worth 25%. He's old so he goes off topic a lot
I had him for Math 95. He is very funny and perhaps a little nutty. He was an excellent Math teacher. I learned a lot in his class. His class was never boring with his sharp wit and hilarious analogies.
Dr. Verosky is great and very smart! He covers the material well and makes it easy to understand. He's s very patient as well and always stays after class for a long time to help out students. The best part is he is hilarious! He's always cracking goofy jokes and I found my self having to try hard not to lose it sometimes. Easy to pass if you try!
Mr. Verosky was great. Explained everything very well, and made sure you're prepared for every test beforehand.
I took a summer class: attendance 8%, quizzes 67%, final 25%. Come the final, I already had 75% of the grade. Prepares you thoroughly for quizzes & allows open book/open note final. Doesn't care if you're not on time. Very friendly and approachable. Great sense of humor & analogies as many have pointed out. Will definitely take him for calculus.
Mr. Verosky is one of the best math teacher I've met. His lecture is comprehensive and hilarious with random jokes. He's there to help you after class, so he's quite accessible. He's really patient to explain everything until you get it. Open-book quizzes and tests mean that an A is something that is feasible in this class.
Love Verosky. Quirky, funny, sweet and makes math somewhat tolerable and dare I say, fun. Will workout homework problems all day every day until you get it. Gives you sample tests which I found extremely helpful. Highly recommended!
Teacher is okay.... sometimes goes off and tests and quiz are okay... dont do good on quiz or test.. you will fail
One of the best mathematics Professor! Lots of fun and impro that leads for students to relate on the subject! Very open minded, funny, sarcastic but kind and understandable! Never once, did I feel dreadful about going to his class! Funny, accurate, compassionate, understanding, smart and talented Professor! Respect!!!...;-)
Verosky is a great guy--nice, humorous, and enthusiastic about teaching. He presents his Statistics & Probability class with great clarity and everyday examples, and he ensures that everyone understands the concepts and procedures. His lectures prepare you for his tests; gives practice tests that are almost identical to his exams; fair grading.
Verosky's one of the most unprepared/unenthusiastic professors I've ever had in a course as beautiful as Calculus III. Doesn't prepare lectures, doesn't go into depth, tells the class about "all the cool things we can do with those things" after vaguely explaining a concept. Also ONLY grades tests. TERRIBLE. Avoid him or teach yourself w the textbk
His Math90 was easy, and I can assume the same for all his classes. Before the exam, he gives a practice exam and the questions, for the most part, are the same. Even his lectures are easy enough to follow. Only grades on exams, no homework. He is a enthusiastic teacher though, always jokes around in class and cares about his students.
Dr. Verosky's class was great. He make Math fun. I enjoyed going to his class.
Verosky is easily one of my favorite professors at CCSF. He definitely responds to the character of his class, and our class was a lively, chatty bunch. Calc III isn't easy, but he knows that whoever is taking that course has a lot ahead of them, so he tried to make it as accessible as possible. He is HILARIOUS. His sense of humor is dry and quirky
If you have good algebra background, I can easily get A. His lectures are very organized and very clear to understand. I recommend him.
i love this man. please do yourself a favor and take his class. he is the quintessential math teacher: enthusiastic, entertaining, and super charming. he genuinely enjoys math and i regularly laugh out loud in his class.
Mr. Verosky is an exceptional professor. His lectures are hilarious & he always answers questions. He'll give you a practice test before the real one so you'll have a better idea of how it is structured, which is very helpful. His tests are really easy, no tricky problems, just concepts straight from the HW. Too bad he doesn't teach Math 110B.
He is nice, but only grades exams. Doesn't care if you showed up the entire semester, if you participate, homework, anything! Just tests. He will give a practice test similar to the exam but won't drop the lowest. No extra credit even if you beg for it...
10/10 would take again
Take his class. That's all that needs to be said.
Took him from stats to calc 3. His practice test are identical to the real test. His calc 3 most people passed, with many Bs and As. He doesn't grade hw so it's basically 100% exams. GL, he allows cheat sheet with notes - whatever you want to put on it.
I read really good reviews about this teacher but honestly i didn't enjoy his class. He gives homework every class but he never grades it, basically its only about tests. So if you struggle on exams, i wouldn't recommend taking him. I try to get extra credit and there is no option for that. He allows a cheat sheet and gives practice tests.
Grades are only based on tests and quizzes. He usually goes over what will be on the test and gives practice exams. Attendance doesn't really matter, he occasionally takes attendance. Though he takes attendance everyday for the first couple weeks of school. Come on the days he gives practice tests and do the homework problems and you'll do fine!
He's way too easy for a math teacher. All his lectured prepared you for his exams and his exams are quite easy. Don't really need to study. I barely came to class and manage to ace the test, so can you. Take him for easy A.
Professor Verosky is a good teacher. All he wants is preparing the students to get ready for math 110B. His quizzes and tests are not too hard and he will provide examples for students to get ready for it. It's not an easy class, but if he knows you work hard on his class, he will let you pass.
The most boring lecture ever. Grades are based on exams only. He gives practice ques identical to the test which is a good thing, but his explanation on lecture is unclear and boring. I learned all concepts by myself with textbook and videos coz his lecture and notes are useless. Some ppl may like his style of teaching, but not me.
Class was pretty dope, this guy is a genius stays humble doesn't ever make anyone feel dumb for not knowing an answer. Definitely take this class if you're serious about calculus ! But there are somethings to know that no one talks about If you're going to take this class, 1 Be good at trig 2 know your squares and cubes to 20.
Very down-to-earth and nice guy. I liked his sense of humor. Wish I could take him for every math class ever. Doesn't grade HW so there's a lack of effortless grade padding but his tests are doable because he gives sample problems in advance. He reminds me of Dr Feynman due to his relaxed style, humor, use of metaphors and cogent explanations.
His tests are similar to his practice tests. He allows cheat sheets. He gives you step-by-steps so it's really easy to understand.
Most laid back/informal prof I've ever had. He is wildly entertaining but is extremely unorganized. Assigns HW but doesn't grade it. Doesn't take attendance. Grades solely on quizzes/exams. Be prepared to study on your own to make up for what he doesn't cover in class. Most likely the easiest math teacher at CCSF.
Most laid back and easy going professor he's very helpful and is always there for his office hours. Definitely would recommend taking him, your grade is based on exams and he allows you to use a cheat sheet. Easiest Math teacher at CCSF!!
Best math teacher at CCSF. Grade is 75% quizzes/tests, and 25% final. Gives practice tests and goes over them. HW assigned from text book but not graded. Great at answering questions and helping you after class. He has an informal teaching style and is very personable, funny, and laid back. My favorite teacher ever. Take him.
I must say, Prof. Verosky is one of my favorite professors at CCSF. To achieve the A in his class, you must: Ask questions and do the homework (HW). He assigned HW so you can follow his lectures. Yes, not a graded points but practicing the HW, gives you a steady foundation for what topic he is covering that day. Final Exam points received: 100%
I was actually recommended to take Verosky as he was "supposed to make Calc 3 easier to understand." I don't know if I felt that way, but the class is pretty easy, but that is probably because I am already a mathhead lol. Exams are fair, sometimes he will add square roots to complicate the problem. Read the book and ask him questions about it!!
Important lectures, he gives examples of problems that will likely be on the exam in class. Class graded by 4 exams all of which are similar to the homework. Ask him questions and participate in class and you should be good.
Every week was a quiz with 3 attempts, with sufficient time to complete. There are also lecture notes which help u understand the concepts that you learn that week. He is very responsive to questions, and even if homework is ungraded, they help and are similar to the quiz.
the only way you'll learn is on ur own reading the textbook. only graded on weekly quizzes, i had an A all the way till the last 2 weeks bc it was hard to understand the material on my own.
Quiz every week with 3 attempts and also 3 attempts for the finals.
Reasonable professor and makes good notes to help you understand the topic
Absolutely the easiest math class Ive had. At first I wanted to switch professors since there were no lectures or office hours. But getting an A is so easy and he makes good notes about the lesson anyway. Most of the test questions so far are on your understanding of the concepts.
He doesn't teach so you have to read the free etextbook by yourself to learn. There is a quiz every week and a short final worth about 20% of your grade (no homework). I've emailed him a few times asking for help on quizzes and he gives me an explanation (which usually doesn't help) and sometimes even the answer. He responds really quick to emails.
he provided a free program that was the best thing to use. it was a lot of material but thats expected from a 5unit class. quizzes are to the point but if you get incorrect answers make sure you ask for the correct ones right away bc he doesn't choose the option where it shows them after its taken. 3 attempts per quiz and i ended up getting an A!
Your grades in this course are based off of weekly quizzes and a final exam. The weekly quizzes are pretty much your homework assignments in this class which makes up most of your grade so make sure to complete the quizzes by the end of each week. Multiple attempts on the weekly quizzes and the final exam. I recommend Verosky if you want an easy A.
This class was an easy A. The course was completely online, and was basically a "teach yourself the material" course. The professor just publishes the reading from the textbook, and you have a weekly quiz on it. There was no midterm, just graded on weekly quizzes and a Final Exam that was also very easy. He provides notes with the readings.
