The worst teacher ever! If you could consider him a teacher. Did not speak english very well. Most of the class taught themselves. He expects you to know everything. Forget about asking him questions. I can't believe I paid money for the class.

Absolutely ruined my experience at IUP. He was rude and extremely harsh in grading stuff that he didn't even teach. Never returned emails (because he was out of the country) and didn't care that we would have to retake the class if we didn't pass.

Very unclear. He is also quite inconsistent in his teaching, making many mistakes. I basically paid the money for the course to read the book and teach myself.

One of the worst classes I have taken at IUP. If you enjoy teaching yourself, go ahead... I dare you. Don't blink during lecture... you might miss a few chapters worth of material.

Example of a class that really shouldn't be that hard, but the teacher makes it HORRIBLE. Prepare to make yourself availiable to go to tutoring. He goes through material really fast and gets mad if you don't understand something. The only good thing: all homework answers are online

does not teach you anything, will not help you in ofice hours and tests suck, even knowing whats on them and aloowed to use a cheat sheet, the tests still suck...DO NOT TAKE HIM.. unless ur good with math and know what your doing from the start......can write worth**** either

This guy is horrible...he has no workbook, the class is computer based, which means it does all the work for you, you dont get to use a computer for the test, and he doesn't teach you how to do anything by hand until 2 days before the test.. also the tests always cover about 6 chapters He sucks alot

completely terrible teacher. you can't understand him, he doesn't understand you, teaches way too fast for anyone to follow, uses the computer for everything except the test.no idea how to do anything on the test, book is of no help, and makes it difficult for you to teach yourself which SUCKS!

this guy is an JERK! he failed me! and the class was online! i got 100 on all my homeworks and he gave me an F! because of my tests grades! DO NOT TAKE HIM!

seemed like a fairly nice guy, but the class was impossible and when you asked him questions, instead of explaining things in a clearer way, he would just repeat himself louder. i failed...

Zhang is hot but do not take him if you are not good at math. you cannot understand him. he is kind of funny but bad teacher. he is nice

VERY hard to understand, HW assigned almost every class, waits to pass out the sign in sheet until the last 5 minutes of class, tests are taken in the evening. I have learned nothing in the class and would never take any class with him again. If you are not a good math student to begin with, you WILL fail this class.

I took Zhang for Math 215 and he was probably the worst professor possible. He doesnt explain anything and is very hard to understand. His tests are at night, and are pretty much impossible to get an A on. I ended up passing the class, but I recommend dropping the class if you have him becuase it is just a waste of your money!

probably the worst teacher ive ever had. you think u do good on a test but u get it back and get an F becuase he try to Trick you on his tests. cant understand him, i would probably understand the material better by not goin to class. DONT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!

My only comment is DON'T TAKE THIS ONLINE FOR SUMMER. For God's sake, just don't do it. Unless you want to spend your entire summer dealing with Minitab and massive, and I do mean MASSIVE, amounts of homework, STAY AWAY. Nice enough guy, he even puts his lectures on video, but unless you love spending hot summer days doing stats, take someone else.

One of the worst prof I have had! Can't understand him, he says "right" and "yes" after every sentence and won't move on until you answer him!!! Tests are extremely hard and quizzes every week, even the day after exams. Oh yea...night exams too!!! Take someone else!

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. Get any other professor you can. His software doesn't work on mac's, so a lot of people are screwed there. His handwriting and english are absolutely appalling. I'm literally failing this class, and I've tried every outlet I could. I passed all my stat's classes in highschool, even AP. Save yourself and just don't.

He was not helpful. He doesn't exain how to use equations. He just teaches you how to use excell. I wasn't allowed using my calculator in class at all.

If you want to teach yourself everything, have mental break downs daily, spend hours doing work, and go to every single class, then this is for you. This is the worst professor i have ever had! You can barely understand anything he says, very poor English. He doesn't actually teach you what you're doing. You kinda just have to copy down what he does and hope you can teach yourself. We use the program R and he doesn't even know how to use it. Very condescending. STAY AWAY.

Please just avoid at all costs. The examples he does in class do not even answer what he is asking in the question and if you try and figure it out it'll confuse you even more in the class.

Prof. Zhang is by far the worst professor I've experienced yet. He is difficult to understand, he moves very fast, and he is sometimes unsure of what he is teaching. Additionally, much of the test material is more difficult than anything he includes in class notes and homework. I strongly advise you to transfer classes if he is your professor.

Dr. Zhang was one of the most frustrating professors I've taken. He doesn't even know the material (once said "I just learned this yesterday" in class) and rolls his eyes at you when you ask questions. Tests have nothing to do with what the content in class. Getting a B was something I had to really really try for, which is ridiculous. Do not take.

Honestly one of the most unorganized and ineffective professor i've had. His style of teaching is constantly asking students questions and chastising us if we didn't know or were wrong. Very hard to follow since he stated multiple times that our textbook was wrong and his notes had many typos. Made up hwk on the spot & didn't state his expectations

I should have taken this class online because you basically teach yourself. He is AWFUL. the worst. He doesn't teach, he fills in his notes, you can barely understand him. He gets mad when you don't know a question. DO NOT TAKE HIM

This guy is really rude. He doesn't teach much yet expects us to know all of the material. He claims it is his job to ask questions to students, not the other way around. Not very clear on what he wants at any point, and grading criteria is inconsistent from student to student. Do not take him if possible.

He is the worst professor I ever had. I asked him several time for help and he did not help. He is also very rude. When you ask question be ready for an attitude. Best thing is don't take him.

Absolutely horrible, I'm a good student who put the time into this class and would spend 10 hours + trying to figure out homework that he said should take 10 minutes. I ended up withdrawling as did half of my class. Do not take this class.

Worst professor I've ever had. I'm a 4.0 student and I can barley handle it. He doesn't teach and laughs at you when you answer questions wrong. He is constantly trying to make us use Excel when no one really knows how. All of the homework is online quizzes and if you don't pass you don't get credit. Hard to understand him so avoid if you can

Just avoid taking him at all costs. I have a 4.0 and this class is going to ruin it. I've spent all my evenings and weekends on this homework just to end up failing it. Excel templates don't work, you're not allowed to use a stats calc, he is good at stats but NOT good at teaching it. He teaches it as if we already know it. Don't waste your time

Professor Zhang was homework, test, and lecture HEAVY. There were multiple, long assignments to do during the weekend. The only help provided was excel sheets and templates. I would never take him again because I felt that he thought everyone should just know the information before being taught it. He was a cool guy, but not a great professor.

Worst professor I have ever had. I tried reaching out for help multiple times and I never got any helpful feedback. Has no sympathy towards any of his students. Awful professor, and should be fired.

In no world would I recommend this professor to anyone. However, he's the only person that teaches this class so I was forced to have him. He's very disrespectful and doesn't answer questions if you ask him. The homework is ridiculous and he isn't clear as to why you lose points when he grades it. Bottom line: avoid this professor at all costs

I showed up to ALL of the classes EARLY. He has been late 100% of those times. Expects EVERYONE to know how. to do a subject before he "teaches" it to us. Doesn't explain ANYTHING clearly. Make mistakes on lectures and spreadsheets that cause unnecessary failures and stress on homework, quizzes, and tests. Assigns way too many assignments at once.

Incredibly insensitive, and one of the worst professors I had at IUP.

He was very hard to understand while speaking, yet somehow his handwriting was worse. His excel sheets often had mistakes in the formulas that he provided, leading to missed questions that were not at fault of the student. There were a lot of homework assignments due at the same time and you were only given credit if you got more than a 70% on it

The final exam was scheduled for the 4th of July which was very unprofessional and unpatriotic. I had to miss my family's annual picnic and spent 2 hours working on an online final which was made with little effort from the professor

I'm not even done with this class yet and I know it's going to end badly. I'm a 4.0 student and I have NEVER taken a class this horrid. You can't understand him, he always cancels and still expects you to just magically learn. His excels are messed up, there is 4+ homework's each week, and he doesn't even teach. 4 exams, WORTH 80% (20%/per). Horrid
