Dr. Isip is a great teacher. While in the beginning I was a bit annoyed with the "all or nothing" grading policy, if you just follow the directions he outlines in the assignments, then you will get a 100. This was a great online class to take, the assignments were very doable, and many extra credit opportunities.

This class was wonderful and easy. Definitely recommend taking if you want a class where you do not have to worry about perfection and you can freely learn.

Do NOT waste time signing up for his class. Dr Isip is an amazing teacher. He offers lots of extra credit and gives full credit as long as the essay is about the topic and meets the page requirements.

Professor Isip is an amazing teacher. He gives us assignments that really make us think and gives us space where we can discuss it with our classmates. I have never enjoyed and English class before, this is the first! He is clear about what he expects from us and from the day one you know what you have to do in order to pass the class.

I took ENGL 1302 (couldn't select it on here though) Wintermester 2022. I am in awe that English class could be so fascinating. Professor Isip had us review/discuss relatable, current material that really made us think/want to discuss. I almost hate that this was not a regular semester. HE IS AMAZING!!!! Take his class. you won't regret it!

I attended a Wintermester ENGL 1302 class with Professor Isip and although the class was brief, I found it to be engaging, interesting and the assignments were very straight forward. I appreciated the amount of extra credit he provided and the flexibility to use it in replacement of writing essays. I wish I took his ENGL 1301 class, he's great!

I was a bit nervous about taking this intensive English course as a 3-week course over the Wintermester, but I heard such great things about Dr. Isip's teaching style and ability to make the subject enjoyable. His curriculum is very progressive and up-to-date. Be an adult, do your work, and you'll be glad you took this course.

I took Dr. Isip's class for Wintermester and he is a great professor! He laid out all the instructions for assignments so they were very clear to understand. There many extra credit opportunities as well, definitely recommend him.

If taking in Wintermester it's a lot of work, but he makes it fun and engaging. I was dreading this class, but I actually really enjoyed it and I learned a ton. Great wintermester class to take. Lots of homework, but it is a 3 week course, and at the end of the week you always feel accomplished. Offers tons of extra credit, so if you miss an assignment you will not be punished. Recommend if you need to get credits done fast.

I took Professor Isip's class not knowing anything about him. I am so glad I took this class! He makes the grading and assignments so easy to understand. Very quick to grade too. The modules and assignments are interesting and make you think about topics you wouldn't normally think about, but in a fun way. Overall 10/10!

Professor Isip is an amazing professor! You can tell he loves his job. The winter semester is very accelerated and requires a few more hours of your day to finish the assignments. He allows you to catch up with extra credit and provides many interesting youtube videos for a better understanding. I would definitely recommend taking his class.

This is the second class I've taken from Dr. Isip, he is great at assigning a reasonable amount of work. He also provides many extra credit opportunities for those times you need a little extra help. I would recommend signing up for one of his classes, I enjoyed every topic we have covered.

Dr. Isip is probably the most unique professor I have ever had in my college career. He is very chill and laid back. His instructions are very clear and simple so as long as you follow that, you'll get a 100. He offers so many extra credit assignments that you literally skip the essays and still get an A. I highly recommend him.

I took this class for the winter semester online at collin county and could not recommend it more as it allowed me to travel, get credit for a needed core class, and learn something interesting along the way. Highly Recommended!

LOTS of extra credit opportunities, and Professor Isip truly cares about each of his students' learning and he does everything he can to make sure his students do well. I took this course during the wintermester, so having a professor who was active, communicative, and organized was also very helpful. Pretty easy A, so take his class if you can!

If you are thinking of an online course for ENGL 1302 to take at Collin College, then you should 100% should take this professor. There is no way you should not get an A or at least a B at worst in his class as there are a lot of extra credit opportunities available. The assignments were easy to do and didn't take too much time out of your day.

The 3-Weekend ENGL 1302 goes by fast but is not stressful. Professor Isip made the class enjoyable and with many extra credit opportunities. It's not a typical read Shakespeare type of class I have in mind for ENGL 1302. Definitely recommend his class.

I loved Dr. Isip! I took his 4 week summer class and it was very easy. If you complete your assignments and meet the minimum guidelines he will give you a 100, I ended the class with like a 145%. Do all the extra credit he gives, its very easy, usually only have to write a paragraph. Amazing lectures never boring and always lets us out early.

Very easy class; once you reach your point requirement for an A, you do not need to attend class anymore. A lot of assignments, and you can choose which ones you need to do to achieve the grade you desire.

Great professor, clear instructions on all the assignments, great lectures and discussions. While there was a bit of work outside of class, there was also lots of extra credit to make up work. His grading policy was simple and refreshing compared to other classes I've taken and helped to not stress out too much over his class.

He is a fantastic professor. He grades as any other professor. Don't give him a reason not to read your paper; if you don't follow MLA format in the sliest bit, it's a zero, no matter how good the content of the essay was. As long as you read what you have to read, it's smooth sailing from there.

I'll keep it simple. This man is one of the best professors out there. All he wants you to do is follow guidelines on his assignments and you basically get the full points. Not only that, he also encourages his students to think outside the box, instead of just going by textbooks. His class isn't difficult and you actually learn something from it.

He's passionate about writing and English so get ready to research a lot of things! But he gives a good amount of extra credit.

It was a good experience, but there were many assignments, no rubrics, no feedback. You get a lot of extra credit opportunities to fix your grades. All 1302 classes are a bit difficult, so I recommend taking this class since it has many extra credit opportunities, and the professor reaches out to fix your mistakes and resubmit your assignment.

He is not a big communicator outside of his instructions but fortunately, they are clear and thorough. His grading system made it possible for me to finish early so I could focus on my other classes. Complete the extra credit to make this possible.

It's hard to fail his class because he has lots of extra credit you can do. There were 3 essays, a couple of plays to watch and write about, a journal assignment(writing in the text box) each week, and a couple of discussion boards. It seems like a lot, but the class is definitely manageable and gives lots of time. TAKE HIM, you won't regret it.

Professor Isip provides new extra credit almost every week, so that even if you miss an entire week or two of assignments, if you do the extra credit for the next few weeks, you can still pass with an A. Additionally, the material he provides for the course covers a wide range of perspectives and is often very interesting.

I really enjoyed having Dr. Isip, he was a great professor and was very clear on the work. The point system was good and easy and his lectures are very interesting. Unfortunately he doesn't teach anymore as he stopped teaching mid semester because of something that happened, I guess. I'm really sad because he was a great professor.

I loved this class because it was very straight forward not stressful and is nearly impossible to fail. We also got to watch plays and movies, so super fun. Not your usual English class, many topics are discuss (So so psychology in a way involved) which I loved. TAKE THIS CLASSS!!
