Dr. Isip was a great professor. Took him online for Eng 1301. Discussion post almost every week, three essays (one of them is a group essay), two extra credit opportunities, and no tests or exams. Easiest class I had. Would definitely take him again. Just do what you're supposed to do and you're golden.

As soon as I saw the detailed syllabus I knew Dr. Isip would be really good because I knew nothing would be confusing. His directions are clear and never change. He super duper realistic and can see right through the BS so don't even try to play him. He's also really good with communicating which is essential in a online class. 100% recommend.

This is my third time taking this course and I was very nervous going into it, but this professor made it so fun and interested. I absolutely love working with him. I love how all of his material and assignments are based off of things that are fresh and new and they don't seem like recycled material from previous semesters.

He is strict about submitting assignments on time but you have 2-3 weeks to complete them. If you aren't confident about your writing skills, that's okay you still do good in his class.

He is a very lenient grader. As long as you do your assignments on time and follow the guidelines he puts on the instructions of an assignment, you will get an A pretty much all the time. He also gives out many extra credit opportunities which can provide makeups for missing assignments or alternatives to essay prompts. Students should take him.

Taking Dr. Isip for ENGL 1301 was the best decision I made, so I took him for 1302 and I don't regret it at all.
