Ok, most reviews weren't very useful. His teaching style is very much an overview but he tells you what you need to know and it's your job to look it up in the book. He has a big curve and he always has helping sessions. Basically, you HAVE to put in effort to pass which is to be expected with orgo.

Frankly, I have no idea what these people are complaining about. Mr. Baker is a great teacher. He mainly tells you you what you need to know during lecture and then expects you to read the material on your own. Organic Chemistry is not for slackers...you'll only be hurting yourself by not reading.

The fact that this man is still teaching students who are(for the majority) going into pre-health is scary. I should have paid myself for each credit hour due to the fact that I TAUGHT MYSELF. 1.) Teaches Orgo as if it is a speed reading class. 2.) Ask him a question and you will feel like you belong in pre-school not pre-health. 3.)close your eyes and pretend he cares 4.) If you have a short lecture section I will pray for you 5.) Out of 200+ students 4 recieved A's....You make the call. Yes, 80% repeat.
