You walk into his classroom environment relaxed and ready to learn. In fact, I find myself thinking critically about ideas in the hallway and look forward to returning to the next period ready to pursue knowledge and more ideas.

He teaches with passion and intensity. He encourages and does not nitpick like the other English teachers I have had. You feel like you want to learn when you go to his class. HE makes class fun too!

Great Teacher. You can tell he loves his subject.And because he loves it he wants you to love it to by being helpful instead of critical. He really brings out things in literature that maybe you didn't see before or think about.

He teaches his students with respect and dignity! I have never saw him treat students badly.

Enjoyed this class. Good teacher, study for the tests, and be prepared for the essays/papers you have to write and you will do well. Tests are a little confusing, sometimes questions that you are not familiar with even though you study hard. I took as an intersession class 1 essay, 1 paper, 2 tests.

Great online professor. Asks students to interact on discussion boards, so be ready to communicate your ideas. Is objective on his grading. Make sure you pay attention to due dates. If you miss a quiz, you cannot make it up. One of the best professors at OKC!

Professor Inglett is rude and rough on his discussion board gradings and essays. He does not reply to emails and ruined my honors credit because of his laziness. Although I did get an A, he posted a final grade without grading all my work....not a good teacher.

Difficult material. Worth the time and effort if you truly want to have a deeper understanding of WORLD religions. Be prepared for conversations that challenge your belief system.

Mr. Inglett is one of the best English teachers I have ever had. I hated English until I took his classes! He makes the class fun. Some important lectures, but interactive and engaging. Doesn't nitpic on grammar like some teachers and helps you revise your paper before submitting the final product. Excellent experience.

I enjoyed Professor Jon Inglett's Comparative Religion Class. It was my first online class and I found it to be a very positive experience. He greeted us with an email at the beginning. All the lessons were laid out very well and he gave us a weekly schedule to maintain. That really helped me keep up and stay focused.

Teacher is very nice,cool,and eye opening.He gives you basic guidelines for each essay and during lectures gives you very good advices,ideas,and tips to do well on each essay. I revised each essay, wrote a good amount, and was on topic of what I needed to write to get a good grade.There is inclass work for points as well so ts madatory.Got "A"!!!!!

BEST TEACHER!!! He answers emails super fast, sends students encouraging emails, and the work load is great! Once when the net kicked me off he reset me test and let me redo it! Best teacher at OCCC!!

I took his online Film Studies class. It was fairly easy. No tests at all. Just quizzes every 2 weeks and discussion boards every week. If you want to dispute an answer on the quiz, he will most likely give you credit as long as you have an idea of the subject. He is a lenient grader. I would take him again for another class if I needed to.

He always answers text messages, haha.

WAYYY Fun class. This was Film Genre: Science Fiction. I had to re-take this class because of personal reasons and not showing up got an F the first time but got an A the second. Inglett is very cool and a great teacher. Was very helpful and always got your papers graded on time which is a rare thing in it's self. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I took Prof. Inglett's Comparative Religions class this Spring and it my most favorite class I have taken to this day! I chose to take it online and as long as you do your weekly discussions and quizes, then you will make an A. There are 2 papers due at the end of the semester, but they are easy because everything in this class is opinion based.

The greatest professor that OCCC has, I highly recomend him.4 papers only.

By far one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's funny, open minded, creative and truly cares about his students. I wasn't very excited before taking this online creative writing class. However, I fell in love with writing and Professor Inglett is THE BEST!!!! You can tell that he really is passionate for the subject and truly cares about each student. He is probably one of my favorite professors at OCCC. I would recommend everyone to take his classes! Great professor! I have taken two of his classes Comp 1 and Comparative Religions. He makes class interesting and exciting. In Comparative Religions the class practiced Tai Chi! Even though the journals weren't fun, I still enjoyed the class and work take it again.

GOOGLE YOUR QUIZZES. Participate in weekly discussions. Write two essays at the end of the course. Straight up easiest and laid back professor ever!!!!!! No reason you shouldn't get a A plus.

I really liked Prof. Inglett. He has a dry sense of humor but a very nice guy and funny. He graded fairly as long as you follow in the essay guidelines. Attendance is important.

I took his 10 day intersession film study class. He is a very good professor, of course everything is kind of condensed in an intersession class but you get to watch some good movies and learn a little bit about cinematography. As long as you show up, write properly, and have the book to study for the second exam, this class should be a breeze.

Professor Jon Inglett is very easy going and super flexable. I would take his class again.

My favorite professor at OCCC. He is the man. If you need a humanities course take it with Inglett he is easily the best.

This online class was one of my favorites. One quiz and one discussion due at the end of every week. Sometimes two discussions and a quiz but nothing super difficult. The guidelines are very clear on what he wants and what hes looking for in each posting. No exams. There is one papers due at the end of the semester.

I his 8 week online film class. It was great! Two films, two discussion boards, two quizzes per week, and one paper due at the end of the class. Even though the book store says you need Connect, you don't. He says you can use earlier editions of the book so that is a big money saver. Great class! I would recommend this class!

Took this class Online for 16 weeks. There were 9 Quizzes, 18 discussions and one big paper and another paper at the end of the semester. As long as you do the work, you will be fine. He has it all laid out in his syllabus. I would recommend this for a humanities class.

You do NOT need to purchase Connect! Just a book. I took the 8 week online course and it was actually really fun. 2 papers (discussions) + 2 reviews each week, & final thesis at the end. Loved the encouraging feedback I received. Will be taking him again for another class for fall 2019.

I took this English class online this summer. It was a relatively easy class, however, there were a ton of papers to write. The topics were simple enough and with all the discussions there are, you typically wind up writing your essay one section at a time. Overall, an easy class just be ready to write and use your book for references.

I took his film studies course for 8 weeks. At one point in my life, I struggled to balance that and school, so I asked him for an extension. Granted, it was not the best timing. But he was still very sympathetic and allowed me more time. As long as you do the reading, posting and writing, you could easily get yourself an A

Took his class for comp 2 for concurrent. Very easy class and the professor is very chill and very approachable to talk to if you need help. The topics are easy and simple to write about and it's easy to get an A as long as you follow the requirements. A lot of the time he ends class early, but attendance is key because it's apart of your grade.

I received an A+ in this class and recieved a B in English Comp 1. I took this class online over the summer so it was 8 weeks. Seemed hard at times because hey, writing papers isn't always easy. His instructions were very clear and his grading was easy. Not a hard grader at all, although you have to follow directions which is KEY here.

Took him for Eng Comp I. His class was not that bad and he is not a tough grader. Overall, I will be taking him again. Not bad.

He's my favorite professor so far. The homework is mainly discussion posts and quizzes. There was a lot of really important conversations that happened in this class and I feel like it helped me grow as an individual. It was a breeze.

I took ENGL Comp 2 with Professor Inglett online. Despite some of the comments here, Professor Inglett currently teaches online due to Covid. I enjoyed the organizational layout of the course and did quite well actually. He is a good professor, and I look forward to taking some of my Humanities courses with him.

Took this class online and it was relatively straightforward and easy. All three essays had a clear outline and as long as you choose a topic that you are passionate about, the essays aren't bad at all.

One of the best classes I've taken at OCCC. Videos were very informative and interesting, the textbook was easy to digest, and Prof. Inglett made sure the discussion boards challenged our creativity and knowledge of the course material. Just read, take notes, and be clear and original in discussions. The quizzes aren't bad if you study your notes.
