Easiest calss of my life! I really enjoyed brother Johnsons class, we only had little amounts of homework, and he gives you a study guide of exactly what will be on the test. He is really knowledgable and will help you with whatever you need! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend taking this class from him!

He is easy, just show up and read the textbook and do his study guide. Study for sure. If you do, you'll ace the test no problem. I fell asleep in basically every class, he kind of went off on tangents but they were interesting, I just didn't really care. He has you do a reading journal for every class, that's how I learned though. He's easy.

Chill teacher, he's a really smart guy. You take little quizzes with the I clicker at the end of the class about the discussion you just had. Easy points if you were paying attention! Classes are basically just discussions. Just do the work and you'll be fine! I surely endorse his teaching above any other science teacher for sure.

He wants every student to do well. It is easy, but the class is really interesting, lighthearted, and organized. And isn't boring if you are actually paying attention. Great proffesor if you aren't very scientifically inclined. Very easy going.

I loved Jon Johnson. I took his class his frist semester teaching and it was great. He's not difficult and willing to explain any questions you have. Super funny! Always had a great time. Had a reading journal everyday (not too hard) and clicker questions to participate in. Tests are sort and easy. Totally reccommend him.

Bro. Johnson was a really easy teacher. He didn't want to scare students away from science especially because some church beliefs conflict with science in others' opinions, not mine (i.e. evolution). However, I learned WAY more in high school (even middle school) than I did in this class. This is college, I expected a little more.

Really nice teacher. He'll answer any question and will be honest if he's not sure. His tests are short and somewhat hard, but he has review sessions for every one. He randomly checks HW based on a lottery but has quick quiz assessments after every section. Easy class, I'd definitely recommend it.

Everyday reading journals and quizes. But not hard. He was a great teacher and did fun things in class. I liked his class and always helped us by having study guide classes to take before we would go take a test. It just sucked because I always had class when he scheduled the meeting times. Made me laugh and I learned lots! Take him!

I really really like Bro. Johnson. He is really cute, in an adorable way. He often seems unsure of himself, which he really doesn't need to be. He is a great teacher, who makes a boring subject fun and easy. There is an average level of homework involved but it's easy and if you take good notes the exams are a breeze. I would take him again.

Most of the grade is attendee/participation. He is very passionate about the subjects and really wants everybody to understand the basic concepts of what he teaches.He is very down to earth, honest and humble. Very fun. No group work, and tests are 25 questions. I would take him again.

His class was easy, my grades were good, no group work: everything I wanted. But I didn't learn anything in his class. I used his study guides and the textbook for the exams but his class was really unstructured. We would start with atoms and suddenly talk about something that came up but had nothing to do with atoms or was over our course level.

Good teacher, probably one of the better foundations science teachers. I did feel that his classes were unstructured and I prefer a more structured class. I really appreciated the no group work though which other foundations teachers do. I'd recommend him. I learned quite a bit from the class this semester.

This class was really easy. All I had to do was the reading assignments and take the tests, which are easy as well. He's a fun teacher though.

Brother Johnson is a great teacher. This class FDSCI 101 is designed to be easy, but he somehow still made it fun and interesting. His personality is very positive, and he is the biggest nerd I've ever met and he owns it well. He is hilarious with his witty humor, and he always has something to teach you that is new that he has learned.

Brother Parker loves what he teaches and it shows. He's the typical geeky quirky science teacher and it's awesome. Sometimes class gets boring because.. I mean it's foundations science, it's not exciting, but there were many times we were all laughing. There are I-clicker quizzes often. Low work-load, just basic reading and notes.

I love Brother Johnson. Some people find his many tangents annoying, but I love seeing him get so excited about science - it rubs off on you! No busy work, tests are not too difficult, just read, study, and you'll be fine. He lets you use a formula sheet which is a life saver. I love Brother Johnson! I've taken 2 classes from him. There are readings before every class, but if you do the readings, the occasional hw assignments, & study for the tests, you will easily pass the class. He gets very excited about science and he has a great sense of humor! He will definitely give you a good laugh.

If you have to take a physics class as a physics major such as modern physics or quantum physics then he's your man. How can I describe how wonderful he is? I wish every physics teacher taught using his style, he let's the students learn how to learn. His lectures are amazing and incredibly understandable if you take detailed notes.

Brother Johnson is so funny!! We did our reading on what's called Perusall. I wasn't a big fan of that because you have to leave comments on the reading to get credit. But it was a challenging class but Brother Johnson does teach well and help you out with anything.

He is so funny, he makes me laugh all the time. He teaches science a little different, he makes it fun and excited. Don't buy textbook because the reading assignments are online. He gives easy extra credit as well so if you messed up some exams it will be fine. Just remember to do the readings and make comments.

Very little to no group work which I really appreciated also super easy in general. I didn't learn much but Brother Johnson had was very likable with a slightly geeky personality.

I absolutely loved Brother Johnson. Science has not been a good thing in my eyes, but hr has helped changed my mind. He was always saying if these shakes your testimony than put it on a shelf and go with the truth we have from the gospel. He was very respectful of the students views and very easy to approach about your grade. You laugh every class.

This class is extremely easy. If you're looking for an easy A, take this class. If you really want to learn about science on a deeper level, take someone else. It's a fine class for your first two semesters, but for me it was boring because he made the class too basic.

EXTEMELY easy class. Only reason to go to class is to get attendance points which are worth half your mark. I would just do homework for other classes during lectures. Physics in general is not easy. Brother Johnson gives super enthusiastic and entertaining lectures. Most every lecture involves an object applied lesson, sometimes including videos. Also,one of the average test scores was lower,so he added 10 points to everyone's scores. This is my second go around taking physics,and he made a world of difference.

He's super funny and he really enjoys the topics which makes lecture very engaging. His class is also very easy. It requires a bit of work and studying, but the tests and assignments are all straightforward.

There is a perusal preparation before every class that automatically grades you based of the thoughtfulness of your notes on the ebook. Other than that, just show up to class and use the study guide he provides to prepare for tests and you are basically guaranteed an A.

He's hilarious, he makes concepts that could be really boring super interesting, and his homework is light. The exams weren't hard, the lectures were hilarious and interesting, and the homework was light.

He is a really solid choice and he is really funny. He makes some of the most boring stuff like vectors entertaining and he tries really hard to be there for his students. My classmates, in general, were awkward and so at times the class was weird but he worked really hard to help us have a good time and enjoy physics.

Prof Johnson has been one of my favorite professors yet. I had him for science foundations and intro to robotics. These classes made fulfilling the science credit requirements fun and easy. The class wasn't so easy it was a joke, there was some studying to do and some projects, but overall it was very satisfying. Prof Johnson is fantastic.

Brother Johnson is so hilarious during his lectures. He's able to teach with any situation. We would use random situations to discuss the principles like snowball fights, unicorns jumping out of airplanes, Napoleon Dynamite getting hit in the face with steak, etc. He's so good at demonstrating and explaining in a way that anyone can understand

Honestly this class was my "easy" class this past semester, his lectures will go where the class wants to do, the tests are quite easy, and he gives alot of homework days. It's a little stressful near the end because he really sucks at grading/putting in grades, but he is such a fun person, and a great professor! I wish he taught more upper levels!

Bro Johnson is great. Very funny. He has videos that are usually for his online students that he makes available to all his students. Watch the cooresponding videos before class and you will almost never have to open the book. There are a few equations you will need from the book though. He grades a little slow.

Brother Johnson was an absolute delight to have as my Light and Sound teacher. He made the class a lot of fun and brought something more special and unique to the table. With COVID going on, he truly made the most of what he had and made sure everyone felt involved and understood what was going on. Overall the class the class very simple and easy.

He's super sweet and funny. He genuinely cares if the class is interested and engaged and tries hard not to be boring. He encourages you to share your questions and insights. Most of the material is learned through homework, while in-class time oftentimes becomes more of a discussion. He also explains concepts clearly to non-science majors.

Took his intro to robotics class. It's a group-work class, he's super caring and willing to do anything to help you out, even if it means closing his eyes to a broken robot sometimes :)

He was a fun professor to have. He would show fun videos or fun activities that could be related to the material we were learning. He loves the material, too, which made class more enjoyable.

There's lots of reading, but I skimmed most of it. He is super engaging and willing to help. He does get distracted in class, but he made lecture videos that focus on the important stuff. No calculators on tests, but it is not bad if you know basic math. Demonstrations are awesome and labs help you understand what is going on in class.

The homework can be frustrating if you try it on your own, exams are extremely short but easy. I was frustrated with him because his lectures are practically useless/he gets distracted a ton, but then I found out he has AMAZING videos on canvas that tell you exactly what to know for exams, and he lets you use notes. After that, exams were easy.

Brother Johnson is a really good teacher. He is so fun watch and ask question in his lectures for the first portion of the class, the physics portion. When we hit biology, it was more difficult to me and he did not enjoy talking about it as much either. There is a ton of content, I learned so much! I think that it's really worth taking.

He is super entertaining and I really enjoy his lectures! There is a bit of work and the assignments look big and scary, but they are actually quite simple and fairly easy. The subject is pretty difficult, but he explains it well and the tutoring center is really helpful. Really awesome guy.

The class was always entertaining and easy to pay attention to. He's organized, funny and very caring. I know that you will not regret taking a class from him! There was also tutoring that I highly encourage everyone to use!! He was my professor for Light and Sound.

I wouldn't take this class from anyone else. You will understand what I mean when you get your first exam back and you got partial credit on a multiple choice question that you got incorrect. He wants you to succeed and he wants you to show THINKING. That is what physics relies on anyway, thinking minds. Effortlessly fun and smart. 6/5 honestly
