Dr. Pedicino is a great teacher, he's extremely enthusiastic, thorough and helpful. Sometimes he gets the physics wrong, which is annoying to me, but in general, it was a great astronomy class.
he was awesome. even tho I only got a C. he passed me when i would have only gotten a D (during the winter session) b/c i bombed all of the other tests... and got a B on the final. wayy awesome!
Pedicino is the man! He gets so excited thats its hard not to like his class and get interested in it. Pretty easy as well...just take notes and study them and read your text and you will do just fine. Oh and see if you think he looks alot like Jason Biggs from the American Pie movies.
I really liked the class and I thought he taught it well. His enthusiasm in the subject was obvious and made the class a lot more fun. It's really easy just lectures and multipe choice tests. There is only one paper. I would recomend the class.
he is so excited about astronomy and he makes a lot of sense!!! you dont even have to read, BUT take good lecture notes... passed with an A. YOU MUST do the paper. he is easy to understand tho
He was awesome. He is so enthusiastic and loved to throw humour into everything and didn't mind me endless nerdy references to various things (Space Odyssey series, Star Wars, etc.) However there were times when he spoke to fast during a lecture. I was only a few points away from getting a B in that class. Had I taken it during a regular semester rather than winter session I would have easily got an A. But 4 hours a night, 4 nights a week just got really insane. He's a great professor though!
This guy is awesome. He is really hyper, loves what he does, gets so excited constantly and just has fun while teaching. He is how I would like to be if I were a teacher.
Jon is so excited about astronomy that it makes the class fun; also he is very good at helping you when you don't understand, answering any questions you have; also he's lab is a lot of fun too. Worth it.
Great teacher, funny, but he tells the same jokes in all of his classes.
Great teacher. you can tell he loves what he does. a fairly difficult class but easy if you like science. one major paper and medium difficulty tests.
Funny teacher, interesting class, makes everything easy to understand. You can tell that he loves to teach. Tests are pretty easy too.
He's hot.
Pedicino is the most enthusiastic teacher at CR. For fun, tell him you heard a rumor that the moon landing was fake. Sleep while he spends the next half-hour defending America.
he's fun and energetic great for a professor he'll keep you interested in the subject, just watch out for his loud outburst ;)
He's a great teacher and has a passion for what he is teaching about, it's almost impossible to walk away from a lecture of his and not think about it for the rest of the day, the subject matter is intriguing.
Very cool teacher who brings astronomy away from textbook science into real life. I learned sooo much about light, planet formation and separation. It was the best class I've had so far at CR. He is funny, cute, and loves what he does.
I was NOT blessed with a brain for science. I did not study science oh so long ago in high school. The book, however, presumes we are all rocket-scientists. Jon is an enthusiastic instructor, however, and will get even non-traditional students through IF you attend. His excited outbursts will keep you awake during an afternoon class.
Jon is very entertaining and this can be a very difficult class if you don't stay on top of the material. His tests are all multiple choice ... and fairly difficult. Take good notes and study them, he tests only on his lectures.
This guy was a lot of fun, and had such great information. I would take this class again in a heartbeat!
Loved his class. He tests from his notes only - thank goodness - not impressed with overpriced textbook. He will keep you awake and keep you coming back - Great teacher - he has found his calling!
Awesome teacher. Very into teaching. he makes it fun and exciting throughout the whole year. i highly reccomend this professor to anyone taking Astronomy.
As one who loves science, this was an easy class. It could have been a whole lot harder, and would be not so great if someone was going to major in Meteorology. The textbook is not optional, but is used in the course. Like the Astr 10 course, the exams are *mostly* based on the lecture notes. Overall, as an intro to the subject, it was great!
He's a great teacher but his tests are so hard!
Jon is really funny and is very passionate about the astronomy! he test only on the lectures, so come to class, take lots of notes and study them for the test! he doesnt grade the homework, and the text book is a joke, so as long as you listen and understand what he says youll do great! the summer session was intense, id recommend the full semester
Jon is very passionate about astronomy and is funny while teaching it. The tests are based on the lecture, so take good notes and dont miss class! the homework isnt graded and the text book doesnt explain things as good as the teacher! Summer session was INTENSE, id reccomend the full semster class!
I love this teacher. He is so funny and makes it so easy to learn. All his tests are multiple choice but they are difficult, so you have to prepare. I wish he taught more classes. One of the best teachers at CR!
Wonderful!
One of the best professors I've ever had. This man is fantastic. He makes the class entertaining and actually made me enjoy astronomy, which I usually don't like. He makes you laugh, and he's very understanding of real life circumstances. I only wish he taught some other classes so I could take him again.
Super cool guy. Does not take attendance or check homework! Super funny, and easy on the eyes! :)
Homework is optional as is attendance. Although you will want to attend class if you want to do well on the exams. The exams are based off lectures and are not easy. His lectures were very interesting and he has a way of explaining things in uniquely entertaining ways.
I've taken all the classes he offers at CR (they all go towards my major). Hes the best professor I've ever had at CR. He's enthusiastic about the subject, and wants you to be also. Also one of the 35 professors at CR with a Ph.D
Totally makes it interesting
Homework: go home, lay out and look at the stars. Doesn't get much better than this!
Awesome class, Professor is hilarious! Just need to be there for lectures, don't need text book, tests from lecture only...
Extremely great - took him for both General Astronomy and for Selected Topics (Astronomy 99). The instructor's personality is amazing and he is very helpful. I took the class a few years ago but I feel like I still remember nearly 100% of it well.
Def. keeps up your interest, very geeky sense of humor, which is fine with me. He may have changed his format a bit this semester, I def. recommend reading the book. No homework, though. But your entire grade depends on 3 tests, a final, and a short paper, so all those tests better be good!
Very cool guy. He really enjoys astronomy and you can tell that he loves to teach it as well. He enjoys hearing about current happenings in our solar system and is more than willing to clarify any questions that you have. I rarely used my textbook because his tests are mostly based on his lectures rather than the textbook.
OMG best class I ever took!I learned so much and he is hilarious. You have to use the book though because although he covers a lot in class it's not everything study study study. There is three tests, a paper, and a final that's is all you get graded on but don't think that means it's easy.
He seems nice but his tests prove he hates his students. They are made up of obscure factoids mostly not mentioned in the class. Test questions are all "read seven times to understand what was asked" and not ones that prove any understanding of the subject. there is NO extra credit and he gives everyone A's on the essay so why bother trying.
Good professor, tends to be humorous. Tests are somewhat difficult. There is only one mandatory assignment, and is somewhat easy.
Awesome teacher. Makes the subject matter interesting. There isn't any graded homework, just 3 tests and a final. One research paper that is also graded pretty easily. Just go to class and pay attention and you'll do just fine.
Hard course if scientific thinking is not your cup of tea. Pedicino tries to make the subject as interesting as can possibly be, but a very hard course nonetheless. However, he is a very kind professor who encourages more effort and in order to do well, just studying everything for each exam!
This was challenging;Even to the astronomy fans. JP's exams are hard and make you think in between the lines. Study your notes and the text book.If you stick with the class and he sees you are trying you will most likely pass. I did learn alot in this class but i think a teacher needs to give an incentive like the opportunity for extra credit.
Super funny lectures, he makes a lot of intelligent jokes...kinda like Eddie Izzard. Make sure to go to every class and take VERY good notes, his tests KILL! However the writing assignment is fairly easy. You'll learn a lot from Jon if you're open to it.
Mr. Pedicino is an amazing teacher! He totally loves what he does and is super funny. His tests are a little hard, but I found I completely loved the class even though I didn't to very great on some of them.
One of the best teachers I've had at this school so far. He made the 3 hour class incredibly interesting with his very energetic self. The tests are difficult, but with studying are fine, especially since he graded on a curve. I highly recommend this professor.
not only is he a wonderful teacher with all his cute little jokes and totally devoted to teaching this subject he is very clear on what you need to do to pass his class. Great teacher and damn good looking to boot.
He is interesting, funny, and very CLEAR on what you need to study to pass his tests. Lot of reviewers saying his tests are nasty but they are not they are multiple choice and EVERYTHING on his tests are in the notes he gives you in class. Don't swayed just study what he tells you too! I got an A+.
You don't need to buy a textbook, everything he tests you on are things that he said in class. There are a few tests a final (multiple choice)and a paper. He is charismatic, entertaining, engaging, & intelligent. If you want to learn and have fun doing it, TAKE HIS CLASS. No one regrets it! He has one of the best reviews on here, and he earns it!!!
Pedicino is the man! He's hilarious, helpful and actually makes learning fun again. If you need clarification, he'll help you. He's always spitting random facts out, and they're all interesting. Jon is by far the best teacher I've had in a long time. <3
Awesome instructor! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Fun personality and he tends to make the class fun while explaining things in a manner that anyone could understand! Highly suggest taking one of his courses if you have any interest in the field, and even if you don't!
He is really helpful but tests are hard so make sure you study.
AMAZING TEACHER. He is very passionate about his subject, teaches it clearly, and has enough knowledge that he doesn't just stick to the lectures but will discuss things brought up by students. You need to go to all the lectures and take notes bc tests are the majority of your grade & you will need to study. But it's fun stuff!
Awesome especially after the first three weeks. Took some time getting the class started, but once it gets to the real meat of the subject, he made it very interesting. I thought the test were fair and not overly hard. He's the kind of professor that makes you want to do your best. I would take him again.
a fun class with a great teacher. he puts in the effort to make the subject interesting, plus sound effects!
Amazing teacher, and so hot.
What can I say? Wow. Okay, his lectures? Do not feel like a lecture. I don't know how to explain it other than this class is bloody brilliant, and you pretty much retain everything. Like, you almost (almost!) don't even have to study, he makes the topic so interesting. Exams directly from lecture, so no surprises. LOVED this class.
LOVE this instructor! He is hilarious and fun to learn from. The class is difficult but Jon makes it fun. VERY animated and engaging. HIGHLY recommend this instructor!!!
He was an absolutely amazing teacher! He was so passionate and full of life everyday. You will retain all the information he puts out. He wants you to pass if you do all the exams and do the paper you will pass! I went up to him afraid I wasn't going to pass and he said i'd be just fine. And I was! =] Great teacher!
Great teacher, very animated. Only word of advice, study. The tests are hands down the hardest multi choice tests I have ever taken. But if you take good notes, read, and study you will be fine.
Mr. Pedicino is a fantastic teacher! His enthusiasm for his subject is contagious. I took his Astro class twice, the second time was just for fun. I highly recommend his course.
Best professor ever he makes a difficult subject easy and fascinating
he is enthusiastic and enjoys his job. that makes a world of difference.
Jon's class is exactly what education should be. There is absolutely no homework besides one easy research paper, but the tests make SURE you know the subject matter - if you don't FULLY ATTEND EVERY CLASS and TAKE NOTES, you WILL struggle with them. However, if you do both of those things, the class is very easy and extremely enjoyable.
Jon is a super enthusiastic astronomer who loves sharing what he has to know about space with his students. He doesn't take attendance, but it will be hard to do well without regularly showing up.
Very good instructor would recommend students to take his class in the future
He's nice, likes to joke, and it very passionate about science. I didn't like the way the tests were written, and I often didn't do well on them. If you read dutifully and listen attentively to the lectures, you should be okay. Oh, the essay at the end? I wrote a terrible essay and got an A... so easy points there.
His exams are based on what is lectured so if you miss class chances are you wont do great on the exams. He's really funny and always seems like hes had 20 cups of coffee and he goes off on tangents sometime but if you're spacing out it will bring you right back to what he's lecturing. He's a great teacher.
Dr. Jon is very energetic & makes a hard subject very interesting. However, you have to go to the class if you want to pass. He tests you on the lecture not on the book. So be ready to take notes. The class is fun anyway, and you would miss out if you didn't go. I always feel smarter leaving that class.
Pedicino is hilarious. I am not a science-minded guy but I loved this class. He presents the info clearly and at least once every class he would drop some nugget of knowledge that would blow my mind. I hardly ever opened the text book--you absolutely have to show up for the lectures, though. All the tests are on the lectures, so take notes!
Highly recommend if you need to take a science class for general education credits and nothing jumps out at you. Science is not my subject, but I was amazed at how much I retained from his engaging lectures. Likable guy who is really interested by his subject matter and makes you care about it, too. Hard to pass a test if you miss the class, tho.
GREAT PROFESSOR.
Made me care and understand astronomy. This man should be teaching and lecturing at universities and not at this little community college, that's how nice and wonderful he is.
Pedicino is by far the best professor I have seen at CR. His lectures are entertaining, funny, and wildly informative. You do not need to open the textbook as he tests only on his lectures. If you do miss a class, make sure to borrow someone's notes. He's very organized and SUPER excited about the subject. Planning on taking more classes from him.
Pedicino is a great teacher. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about astronomy. He encourages in class discussion and brings in current topics about astronomy. The exams are of kind hard and he doesn't provide study guides. If you want to ace the exams, be prepare to take really good lecture notes.
Pedicino is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. His lectures are long, but interesting. Note taking is helpful and he is clear about what will be on tests. Best class I've ever taken.
Dr. Pedicino is one of the best professors I've ever had. He's absolutely brilliant, and hilarious. He also has a lot of good thoughts to share. It's an easy class if you read the textbook but I recommend coming to the classes. His lectures are some of the best of campus. Grades on 4 exams and a paper so know your stuff, don't slack.
Super interesting class, great teacher
His lectures are like a Ted Talks on planetary astro physics. His subject matter is already interesting, but he makes it even more exciting in the way he teaches it. He's brilliant, reliable, doesn't ask too much, no homework, besides one presentation, and a few tests on a couple readings and slide show lectures. Loved this professor.
This professor has passion for his chosen field and you can't help but get excited too. Reading the text ahead of time I would be confused but after his lecture it all fell into place. He's funny and he cares. My favorite professor so far.
Jon Pedicino is a great teacher! you can tell he loves teaching and he really wants his students to understand what he's lecturing about. He is really great about including current events and making it relate to the material it keeps it interesting. I'm taking the 3 hour night class that ends at 9:45 haven't fallen asleep yet with his energy!
He's hilarious and really excited about the subject. He doesn't take attendance, but test questions are taken straight from the lecture so it's pretty important to attend.
Great teacher that really wants you to learn the material. I enjoyed class and am excited to take him again.
He was the best teacher I've ever had! He was so nice! Astro was a very hard class for me and I don't think I would have passed if I had any other teacher. Definite 10/10
He's awesome and super nice! The class is easy if you just show up. And he looks like Richard Gere so it was very easy to pay attention in class.
Amazing class. Brilliant teacher. Mind bending.
Engaging, interesting, and all-around funny and enjoyable to listen to. He makes it clear that all of his quizzes and tests will only consist of things spoken about in his lectures but that reading through the assigned text will help give a better understanding of the material as well. Answers all questions and has good pre-test reviews.
Study for the tests, that's the only thing that you need to look out for. He's super amazing and I wish I could take him for every class.
I love the fact that he acknowledges that most of his students are not astronomy majors. He teaches as much as is on the tests and is funny to keep students attention. It is truly an enjoyable class (for a lecture based class) and it can be easy to get an A. He never posted a canvas and your grade is based on 3 tests and a paper.
Jon is an excellent teacher! The grading is based on 3 tests, 1 paper and the final exam. If you attend class, watch his youtube videos and review the chapter questions from the syllabus you will get an A. He makes astronomy and science easy to understand so no need for higher math or physics at this level.
Jon Pedicino is great professor. His lectures are engaging and he really tries to help students grasp the material. The only homework is not collected and the essay is simple but the tests are very difficult. Getting an A on a test is nearly impossible, even for A students. Take time before them to ask as many questions as you can because it helps.
As someone who isn't naturally good at anything that has to do with science, this class was surprisingly fun. Pedicino is very fun, charismatic, and helpful. The only thing to be aware of are the tests; they are quite difficult. Read the book, watch the YouTube videos, and ask questions, and you'll be fine.
super cool dude
He is a very nice teacher and cares about his students. You will have fun in his class and he makes the lectures interesting and exciting. I would also recommend his 2 unit science fiction class if you need a couple more units, because it is easy and all you have to do is show up to class once a week, give three presentations, and write a paper.
Jon Pedicino treats everyone in his class with respect and care. If you need help, want advice about how to study for his (or any class), or anything else you can think of, he is very willing and very excited to help.
I enjoyed coming to class. But Im glad I took it for Honors because part of my grade was an extra paper, and that meant my Exams werent worth as much.
I was not even remotely interested in science until I took this class. Jon is an amazing teacher who changed my entire outlook on the subject. I am now a huge fan of astronomy! You only have 4 test and 1 paper for your total grade so go to the lectures (even though attendance is not mandatory) and watch his youtube videos to help pass the class.
Amazing professor. This class changed me and humbled me. he highlights our responsibility to love and preserve this tiny blue dot, and deal more kindly with each other. I thought I hated all things science related, but this class absolutely changed my perspective on everything. What a great guy. He must be a fantastic dad. And he's HIlarious
Even though lectures arent mandatory go to them because they will make your day better. take this class if you want a mix between stand up comedy and ted talks. Freaking awesome. just do what he tells u to do (lightly read textbook when u have time, take notes) and I can't imagine why you would get anything lower than a b plus
Jon is fantastic! You will have 4 tests throughout the semester and 1 research paper. The tests are mainly material from lectures, so try to be in class often. The youtube videos he has will be a life saver when studying. His lectures are fun, and he keeps you interested the whole term. Take this class - you won't be sorry!
I took this class as an accelerated 3 week course. He only gives 3 tests and 1 research paper. His lectures are long and sometimes he rambles, but he gives YouTube videos with all the necessary details for the tests. Memorize those videos and concepts. He is a funny, genuine professor. Highly recommend him for physical science GE.
If you don't test very well, I can say that this class is really stressful at times. But he's such a fun and hysterical teacher that it almost isn't scary. You get your grades back pretty fast. You can walk away from this class with stories you'd usually only share with close friends.
He was a really fun professor. We had a textbook that was mostly supplemental to lecture material. There were just a few tests and one research paper. He encouraged students to ask questions and engage with the material. He didn't grade attendance, but it's well worth going for the lectures.
I took Dr. Pedicino for 2 classes and found him to be a wonderful professor . He does require participation in the class, and you will have your grade dinged some, but it was so easy to participate. I would highly recommend studying for his exams, or you won't do too good on them. He is very passionate about astronomy, and all the facets therein.
One of my favorite teachers! Im awful at anything with numbers and science and he explains things in ways that are understandable.
Very funny lectures, he brings in modern astronomy topics very interesting lecture heavy. Definitly would take again.
Amazing lectures, I find myself even more interested in the cosmos than ever. No graded homework, however don't skip it because there is a lot of valuable information in the textbook (which was very cheap) that you might miss out on. He has videos that you can watch if you miss class and makes astronomy accessible for all to learn.
Only reason I got a C in the class was because of the tests. Wording can be tricky, so even if you know the material, watch out! I did great through the class and thought it would be an easy A. Lectures are great, and you can tell he loves what he does. He also has youtube study guides. Watch those before each test, it helps so much!
Pedicino is a wonderful guy! His Astro-10 class is very easy as he makes it that way. He cares more about concepts rather than the hard facts of science. The only things graded in the class are 4 tests and a research paper so you have to study well if u want the A. He adds points to everyone's test to curve the grades as well. Lectures are online!
He is an excellent teacher. His lectures are interesting and engaging. He has a passion for his subject. He encourages discussion. He has his lectures available on YouTube so if you miss something you can catch up. Tests are tricky. Tests are not just regurgitation of the lecture. You need to understand why something happens the way it does.
His lectures always inspired me to do more research into the material, Clear and concise while keeping the subject matter incredibly interesting.
This guy is a great teacher. Attendance isn't mandatory, unless you actually want to learn. He wants you to learn, and it shows. You will get more fundamental understanding from this class than from a shelf of astro books, because he's so clear and focused. He makes the Universe simple. Plus he's a genius. Ask him anything!
Loved his class. Great teacher and extremely friendly and laid back. Very little homework, and none of it is really mandatory. Barely any graded assignments. He has youtube videos posted with the content he covers in his lectures, so attending class is not super important other than a participation class.
Great Professor and fairly easy course. If you like to read and write than this class is for you.
Pedicino is a fun, understanding teacher. He grades fairly and also provides opportunities for late work and making up assignments (if you have a GOOD excuse). His lectures are entertaining and it shows that he really enjoys teaching and wants you to learn and appreciate the material. He made Astronomy a pleasant class and I learned a lot!
This class you must watch the lecture videos or attend the zoom class. There were three easy tests, he gives you all the information in the lectures. There is no homework and no real reading for this class. Besides the tests all you have is a presentation project and a paper on the same subject. This professor is amazing at returning emails!
Pedicino is Dad vibes all the way. Keeps lectures light and funny while simultaneously being incredibly knowledgeable and informative. His teaching style seems to be geared towards individual take away rather than standardized memorization of facts which worked well for me. For ASTRO 10, he provided a free online textbook which helps to cut costs.
This class was so interesting and mind opening, he has so much passion for astronomy it makes you want to change your whole major. He is so funny and you will really enjoy the class. He explains the grading criteria very well and is very flexible when it comes to grading, late work, and more. I would recommend everyone to take astronomy with him!
Probably the best professer I have ever had. I took Applied physics and with the small class size it was all a discussion going on rants and being able to write papers on what you found most interesting that day or having the option of using his YouTube videos to base your paper off of that.
Full honesty? I had my first class w/ this professor today, but I ran over here anyway. He is really good about COVID protocol and reminding ppl to pull up their masks. Really friendly and smart guy. Im looking forward to the rest of this semester a LOT! I already learned so much just on day 1
I am a high school freshman and I took Mr. Pedicino's Astronomy class for the first time. There are weekly summaries and one research paper. He gave us many resources to use for the summaries, and during his weekly (nonmandatory) lectures, he would give a lot of helpful information. Whenever anyone has a question, he always answers them in depth.
This Professor was one of the best I have experienced. He knows what he is doing to get his point crossed. He is very funny.
Dr. Pedicino makes the course fun and interactive, I was sad when it ended.
Pedicino gave amazing lectures with his fun and enthusiastic attitude. He was very passionate and inspirational about astronomy, that's what made it fun. I took a summer class, this encompassed two optional one and a half hour classes a week and two summaries a week. These summaries were only two page lengths, and his grading was very easy.
Prof Pedicino is honestly one of the best teachers I've ever had. His class doesn't have a ton of assignments though you gotta attend class regularly for his lectures, but on the upside they're really neat as he will always answer your questions and puts humor into his explanations and responds quickly and will allow you to make up tests you miss.
The teacher is accommodating both in and out of class, has interesting lectures, and the class is both one of the easiest and most enjoyable classes I've had. He responds promptly when reached out to, and gives plenty of extra credit if you put in the work.
Pedicino is one of the best lecturers ever. I'm not joking when I say he's like a funnier, science-savvy Jerry Seinfeld. It's very clear that he knows his subject, and he keeps you laughing the entire class.
Take his classes if you can, the assignments are kinda long but the content of Astronomy 10 was so great and the book was free in the school library. Strick about late work penalties, so if you are late be aware.
Super funny teacher, took too many classes this semester so I failed to make it to class more than a few times, but he was able to look past that as I got all my assignments in on time, gotta write a paper every Friday but you can have a lot of fun writing them, super grateful for this teacher
I took this class as an elective because I have always been interested in Astronomy and gained so much knowledge! Pretty easy class; the only assignments were 750+ word papers due at the end of every unit & a midterm, no final. Prof Pedicino would give prompts and ideas to work off of for each unit. Really great class!
If I had to rank the three professors I've had so far, this guy would be at the top. An incredibly fun and interesting class that I think most should take even if not interested in astronomy, he will make you interested. Very understanding to many situations and just a generally nice guy. Only thing is I wish I took his class in person!
Dr P is amazing. He made a subject I wasn't looking forward to and knew nothing about fun and exciting! The BEST online class I've ever taken! I actually signed up for another one of his classes next semester just for fun and to learn from him again. I'd go as far to say he's the best professor at CR
All the reviews are right, he's great.
Pedicino is great. He makes the subject accessible and gives lots of freedom in his assignments. You're essentially allowed to learn however you want as long as you meet a few standards that are fairly low and forgiving. An absolutely essential class to take.
Dr. Pedicino is super pleasant and a good lecturer. He is patient and makes you feel comfortable to ask questions frequently, and is never discouraging. Take this class!
Amazing professor, he clearly loves what he's doing and that makes class way more interesting. He always had my attention which made science easier to understand. Would love to have him again
Professor Pedicino makes this astronomy class fun and engaging. The assignments are reasonable, and using resources like Unstuck ai alongside the free textbook really helps with study prep. Although attendance is mandatory, the class is quite manageable overall.
Jon Pedicino is possibly one of the best professors at college of the redwoods. His passion for astronomy and teaching is so inspiring. He is extremely caring and if you miss an assignment for any reason and explain it within your assingment he he always put that into account for the grade. Along w 0 tests/exams!!! honestly best class ever.
This class is an easy A! If you do all of the readings and homework you will do great on the tests! He is very caring and will answer any questions if you have any.
He is a very organized professor! The due dates were given at the beginning of the semester, which helped me plan ahead. He commented on every assignment with a kind little bit of encouragement. I thought this course was very interesting to learn about.
I took this during summer session (4 weeks). Each week there were 4 units to cover, each unit including a couple chapters of reading and a 2 page minimum (750 word) summary written. The professor makes class accessible with asynchronous lectures, and a free online textbook. He is generous with grading, but there's still a lot of reading/writing.
