I think Mr Sudlow is the most different, most interesting proff I ever had. Seriously, his class (which is my optional) is the highlight of my day. His classes are nothing but boring and he teaches in his own unique style. Good example for other proffs.

If you work hard, pay attention and attend class, you will have no problems. I thought Jon was a wonderful and charasmatic teacher who focused on the students that focused on him. I worked hard in his class and reaped the benifits.

Mr. Sudlow was the best teacher I've ever had, He was very helpful and I learned a lot from him. He made english intresting and exciting!

While a tough marker (if you do the work, you'll get at least a C-, but you're unlikely to get over B+), he is the one professor at Seneca who is a PROFESSOR and not a glorified HSteacher. Choose him if you want to LEARN and be treated like a college MAN.

He was a good teacher. He explains things well, hes very dramatic in explaining the stories. You will learn from his class. However he is a hard marker. If he says "next class inclass writing" READ THE STORY AND BE PREPARED!Be happy with a C in

Jon was by far the best teacher I had at Seneca! He is not a HARD marker, he's a fair marker! He was the only teacher in my life to give me anything better than a C in english. The was he teaches is extraodinary!!!

I think he was awesome, i didnt get a very good grade, but it was my fault , as far as teaching his class was great to go to.

Excellent teacher. You actually learn from his classes. Just make sure that you do all your readings and work.

Everyone seems to be giving him negative comments.. I think he's a good teacher, he practically gives you the answers to teh assignments, they are discussed thoroughly in class. I was getting B's and B+'s and I was quite content. Just show upto class and take notes when he explains the assignment and you will do fine!

Exellent teacher. You'll be OK if you don't miss classes, make notes, read stories in advance, and do what he asks you to do, and he is verrrry clear about that. He wants you to do well. He will tell the important point in the hand in assignment, test and exam. But he speak very very fast sometimes. He is easy to get impatient. * * Format * * Format * * I got an 'A' and you will too.

He's either the best teacher ever or the worst teacher ever depending on your requirements of a teacher. He definitely knows his stuff and presents it in a interesting way. However, if you're horrible in english, you'll struggle--struggle yet grow rapidly if you're determined. He will not fail you if you show him you're a dedicated student.

Jon is the best teacher i have EVER had through school. He pushes you to do the best you possibly can do. Thats what teaching is about. And if you work hard, you WILL get the grades. Everyone says he only gives C's but i got B+, so that proves that theory wrong. Hes great! and brings a lot of HUMOUR into the classroom. Fun teacher, I reccommend him

He was a great professor, and I would take a class with him again in a heartbeat. He clearly lays out guidelines for what he wants and all you have to do is follow them. I got A's in his class, so despite what is said on here, it is possible.

Jon was an amazing teacher. His assignments were intimidating at first, but after he explains it there is no way not to know exactly what he expects from you. I learned a lot from him and my writing definitely improved! He was always very enthusiastic and made classes worth attending. I will take all the classes he teaches.

The best teacher I've ever had. Do exactly what he wants and you'll have A. I'm an ESL student and I finished (the semester) with A. He's not a hard marker, but he marks for grammar and spelling mistakes. Also, he allows you to bring your textbook on the final with your own notes inside! Amazing teacher!

Great teacher, i'm not going to lie. He acts all crazy sometimes, but that's his teaching style. Just follow his instructions and you will see your essays improve big time.

Even though I did find him to be a little bit of a harsh marker, I did thoroughly enjoy his class. The textbook was full of interesting stories. Make sure you do ALL the required reading because he does unannounced in-class writing throughout the semester. He takes attendance ever class, so make sure you show up. He can be little intimidating.

If it's hard it's worth teaching. If you can't make it easy to learn then it's not....Uh I forgot his quote but Great guy. Funny. Sometimes he upsets me but that's cause I missed a few classes and well...it's the end of me. Don't miss class and you'll be okay. and he's not bluffing when he says to read the stories.

If you follow his instructions for assignments, you're fine. How do I get a good grade you ask! "Buy the books, do the readings, be on time, come to class and you'll be fine" will be the response he gives. Don't use a fancy vocabulary, keep it SIMPLE. If you want to know why/where you loose marks, BUG HIM IN PERSON, HE DOES NOT ANSWER EMAILS!

Hard marker? Maybe, would say fair. Tells u EXACTLY what/how he wants the work done; talks about every story detailed. Read them before class (unannounced in-class writings). He is an amazing teacher who takes pride in his work. He is HILARIOUS and was my favourite professor!
