He is an extremely good professor. He is one the best math teachers I have ever had. He obviously cares if you learn the material and gives you all the resources needed to succeed in class. His tests are not really easy but if you put some effort in his class you will do well.

Excellent professor! I took him for Developmental Math and liked him so much that I worked his College Algebra class into my schedule. He is knowledgeable and keeps the class on it's toes with quips and humor.

It was an easy class for me (but I had algebra before).He is pretty good in explaining and tests are fairly easy as he does not put any diffiult or comples problems.So if you know that basic material you will pass tests.Annoying part-he knows he is hot and he boasts about it plus he talks about his family a lot.

I took intermediate last year and failed miserably. I took him this semester and made an A. Very easy class especially with this whole my math lab thing. I never even opened the textbook. He makes the class interesting but he seems to get annoyed easily. Still, I would strongly recommend him if your background in math is less than good.

He is one of the BEST math professors I have ever taken! Before I had him I hated going to math, now I look forward stepping into the classroom. Mr. Bickham is always available whenever you do not understand a section and will work with you until you do. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone to take him if you struggle with math!

An amazing proff. who is more than happy to explain a problem in as many different ways as it takes to make sure everyone in the class understands. He encourages students to ask questions, and is patient when explaining things. He is highly recomended!

2nd semester w/him. He keeps the class entertaining and he explains everything. His test are straightforward and he gives alot of extra cred. opportunities. Made an A twice with him. Never use the txt book. just review his notes. Only bad thing is he makes alot of mistakes when grading so be sure to catch them. He lets you do test corrections.

Mr. Bickham is the best math professor at ACC. He is extremely helpful! He will go over material as many times as it takes until you understand it. If you put forth the effort and he knows that you are trying there is no reason why you should not pass his class. Mr. Bickham is really caring and very optimistic about the success of his students!

Mr Bickham REALLY cares about his students. But, unorthodox teaching style combined with too little homework (all on the computer), and you end up having to teach alot of stuff to yourself without getting the practice and repitition this particular course demands. Had to retake with a teacher who gave tons of WRITTEN hw and got an A.

Great instructor! Talks fast but doesn't mind stopping and going back over something for clarity. Great sense of humor helps with the environment factor of class. Hated math now kinda like it to be honest, would definately take another class of his.

Enjoyable lecture. Fun sense of humor. Teaches pretty well. Online homework did not seem to prepare some of the students for the exams. Struggle with math? You might want a more traditional class with a teacher who assigns written homework and then goes over it. He's fair, can get the information across in class, but is not easy.

This guy is good if you really suck at math you will fail with any other prof. He's cool his teaching style is Super makes thing simple to understand. His lectures are clear easy to understand. Real helpful he tries hard to make math easy and does. I would recommend him to anyone without a doubt.

Mr. Bickham is one of the best math professors at ACC. Whenever you are confused about a topic, Mr. Bickham comes up with as many different ways as it takes to help you understand the material better. I highly recommend him if you struggle with math. I took his class last summer and made an A. He keeps the class interesting with his humor.

Teaching techniques are fun and fantastic. Very helpful when solution isn't clear. Notes are pre-made handouts. He will tell you which problems will be on the test. Test are simple; able to do test corrections.

Best teach ever. I'm terrible at math and he's great at explaining why things are the way they are. Prints out notes so you'll follow along instead of writing notes. Tests are hard so you'll do better on the final. Drops lowest quiz and gives opportunities to bring up test grades. Hands down best math teacher I've ever had. Even taking him next semester!

He is very smart and good at math. He loves what he does which makes for a good teacher. Learn with him in class, then go home and learn more on the comp. (my math lab) and then i suggest going to his office and getting him to help you. I made an A+ because of his help. very fun and entertaining. Not the easiest class though

Mr. Bickham is a great at keeping us entertain. He is so funny. However he is not the easiest. Don't expect a review for the test. He does talk fast so you might get lost. He does test corrections. Overall I recommend him if you get easily bored.

AWESOME Teacher! Things that didnt make sense even as far back as Elementary Algebra he made total sense of them. I love that he is available in the learning lab. I will take him for all of my math classes to come. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!!!! Bonus** He is really funny!

Great Teacher, test are a bit hard but he teaches the material well. Tells lots of jokes so math will be more fun. uses my math lab so if you don't like to use it then don't take his class.

I've loathed/feared/dreaded math since 7th grade & last had algebra ~10yrs ago, so I was obv *NOT* looking forward to 1314... Surprise! Turned out to be my fav class. Bickham managed to undo a lifetime of math hatred in <3mo. Teaches intuitively, not 'memorize-formulas' method; young; friendly; hilarious; & wants you to interrupt w/ ?s if lost. A++

Since I was in 3rd grade I have had bad luck with math teachers. Prof Bickham deserves a medal for being able to communicate to his students. On top of making the class fun by being animated all the time. He explains the material well and if you show up and pay attention you will do great. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Mr. Bickham was awesome! I have not been in school since 1992 when I dropped out of high school and got my GED..After 20yrs I decided to go to college so I took the THEA test and had to take Intermediate Algebra. I thought this class was going to eat my lunch but Mr. Bickham prepared me for my future math courses that I can now take with confidence

Such an amazing teacher! Math, like most people, is not my favorite subject. He knows how to mix comedy and education and keep your attention. I wish I had him in every math class. Without his way of teaching, I don't know what I would've done!

Yes this class is hard cause it's College Algebra. I could've passed this class without his help. The textbook online helped me out more than he did. He's a very funny guy but he can also be very obnoxious, rude and egotistical. He's hot though.

Bickham is a great teacher, makes the class easy to follow because he gives you the notes. He also allowed test corrections (you get 20% of the points you missed). Lots of homework, and although attendance isn't mandatory, it's to your benefit to go. If you are struggling, go to his office hours, he really cares if you learn the material and pass.

Bickham is a great teacher. His lessons in class are clear, however if you are slow to grasp math you might have some trouble. He made it clear that if you are having trouble, not to be afraid to say anything and he will go over the problem as much as you need. Difficult tests and homework, but completely doable. He has a great sense of humor!

So Bickham is a great professor. Super fast pace and lots of homework. I will never take one of hes class because it does not fit my way of learning, therefore; that doesn't mean hes not good at teaching. Hes awesome!! He has lots of knowledge in math and many easy tricks to it.

He's a great professor, fun and entertaining. I highly recommend if you prefer a more laid back learning environment, but don't be fooled by the casual style. The exams are challenging and he doesn't do reviews.

Not understanding the "hot" rating. I guess if you're into Rick Moranis types. This guy talks about himself way too much. A lot of class time wasted listening to stories about his awrsomeness put us behind at the end of the semester.

Professor Bickham is awesome. I'm not a strong math person, but between working very hard and having him as a professor I made the best grades in math that I have ever made. He comes to class with the same energy every day which makes you want to try. I definitely recommend his class!

Mr. Bickham is a fantastic teacher. He is very enthusiastic about teaching, never a dull moment in his class. Lots of homework but if you do it you'll do great. Ask questions when you don't understand; he is very patient and will always explain things again. Would absolutely take him again!

I never imagined that easing back into math after 12 years could be so seamless. Mr. Bickham was very clear, concise and gave pointers and examples that made this often difficult subject much easier to grasp and apply. Expect homework (repetition is the best teacher) and make sure to attend the lectures! You don't want to miss any tips!

If your major is math, or science you should take him bc he will make you to understand it deeply. test are tough, and tricky tho. I would not take him again just because to get an A is really freaking challenging and I am great at math. so you should definitely considering this if you want to get an A. Overall great professor.

Great professor! Passionate and really wants his students to succeed. 5 tests, lots of homework, 2 projects that help boost your grade. Allows for test corrections for 20% EC. Drops lowest homework grade. Lenient on deadlines and gives points for partial answers. Answers email, encourages office hour visits, but splits right after class.

He's pretty straight forward and if you don't understand something just send him an email or ask. Expect lots of homework and if you want to pass the tests I recommend doing the homework. Lots of group work which I normally don't like but it really wasn't horrible.

Great professor! Mr. Bickham has really good lectures, and funny ones too. He does assign a lot of homework, which he grades by completion, but he gives you a week to turn it in. He will give you partial credit on tests and there is almost always an extra credit section. He is really good at helping students understand problems and he doesn't make you feel dumb for not understanding the first time. If you do your homework, go to class, and put in all your effort, you can easily pass the class.

I took Calc I during summer so it was fast paced. He is well organized, fun guy, has a great way of breaking the ice, friendly. Does not have a singling out manner. Goes over the material well, as usual with all math, if you do not do HW you will not pass. Very fair.

By far the best math teacher at ACC I've taken many math courses in the past and have always gotten a low c but I made a high b in this course! I struggle with math but he made sure to give examples and explain why. He's super funny and very loud so be ready! There is a lot of homework but practice never killed anyone!

Lots of HW but 100% do-able. 4 exams w a final. All exams have test corrections. Class was super easy. DO EVERY HW asgmt. for 4 bonus pts on final! Show up everyday or you'll miss a sect. For each sect, there's 2 assignments-1 online & 1bookwork. EX: 1.2: 1.2 online &1.2 bookwork. Covers sect 1.2-6.6 YOU NEED A TEXT BOOK,BUY ONLINE PEARSON VERSION!

He is truly passionate about students learning the proper way of math. Uses Mathlab and textbook homework, its a lot of work but it helps. Lectures were always fun but his test were hard. He does not give out test reviews.

Enjoyed his class, he made math fun and entertaining even when it was other wise hard. Recommend taking this professor because he does what he can even when it's a hard class. He has more passion for math and he's excited to the teach not just the basics but all the math theory. Encourages better performance and expects hard work even on weekends.

by far one of my favorite teachers and I absolutely hate math he encouraged me to ask questions and now I ask multiple questions each time when I typically am the student to sit in silence and regret it later, he is hilarious and doesn't make you dread coming to class like any other math class I would recommend him to anyone.

His lectures are informative but also very easy to grasp so you understand the material. His class is lecture based but he makes it fun.

Math has ALWAYS been really difficult for me. Took his and Mrs. Izzards combined developmental/College Algebra class. It was 5 days a week, which was pretty draining. However, after many attempts, I FINALLY GOT my College Algebra credit with their help. They are excellent teachers & care about their students. Group studying is IMPORTANT!

I do not have a strong math back him and Mrs. Himes class was a life saver. They broke things down to where you could fully understand and your notes matched up with homework. They work the problems out step by step and show you how to get from point A to point B. I would recommend for any student especially ones who struggle with math!!

Mr. B helps his students understand concepts on a basic level. If you show up and do your homework, youll pass. He really makes sure his students fully grasp the learning objectives and continues to drill that down until it becomes second nature. Ive taken math 1314 twice before and Mr. B is the absolute best. Not boring and super funny!

The class isn't considered an easy A because you do have to put in the time to understand it like every math class. The syllabus was 3 tests, 100 points each, homework is worth 100, and final is worth 200 points, which I really didn't thank was fair. Professor is clear when teaching and happy to help. Tip: do all the homework to get an A!

Professor Bickham was one of the first professors/teachers to actually make Algebra make sense. Amazing professor, gives backgrounds on how formulas came to be that is relatable and captivating. Makes math easier to understand.

I took the algebra express class with Ms. G for my tsi credit. Let me say prof B Is amazing. He explains math in a way that is easy to understand. He relates math to real life and hes funny. All of his lectures were really good because hes good at what he does. Be ware he is kinda forgetful and you may need to remind him about things he misses.

Probably the easiest math class I've taken. I'm terrible at math but Mr Bickham made the lectures easy to understand. My only critique is he takes FOREVER to grade. Like don't expect your test grade until 2 weeks after you've taken the test. That goes for your final too. Still I would 100% take him again because he's really good at teaching.

You NEED to attend the lectures, and participate. The textbook is full of sample problems but otherwise unhelpful. Professor Bickham's lectures are way better than the textbook, and he's quite funny, but expect heavy exams and attend every class. Ask questions or fall behind. If you ask questions and consistently attend class, it's a mostly easy A.

Great teacher all around, the workload was abnormally heavy at times, with some assignments being assigned over breaks, but understandable due to his in detail lectures.

Super personable and will always make you feel comfortable asking questions. He's an excellent instructor and makes math understandable and not so intimidating. If you attend and engage in lecture and do all the homework (there's a fair amount) you'll do well on exams. Would love to take him for all my math classes.

The textbook is heavily used. She was very understanding of life's situations. The constant reminders will change to fewer and fewer help. She's always in the accelerator highland campus tp help those who are in need.

He was a great teacher of online college algebra, just slightly overwhelming. It was online, there was a homework assignment due every day, and a test every other week. Made the concepts easy to understand and was fun in class, but if you're taking a lot of other classes, wouldn't recommend

I took him for developmental and college algebra at the same time. You need to show up and participate or you won't understand what's going on. Ask questions, he is happy to help. There is a lot of homework! This class was difficult and time-consuming, but I enjoyed it. He does his best to make lectures enjoyable and is very funny. Take him 100%!

A great class to take! I failed this class due to a lack of study but overall it's a good course if you attend every class and do the homework. Homework helps so much so I recommend doing it. Overall the professor is nice and always answers questions no matter what!
