Mr.Davis is an AWESOME professor. Make sure you apply yourself in his class,hes' full of Knowledge and Wisdom, he's a Great Mentor, and an Inspiring Professor, because of him I am very eager to learn and want to continue my Journey with college. Palm Beach State College is lucky to have him as a Professor!

He's great! Very unpredictable. Sometimes skips stuff from the syllabus but it's usually in your favor. We did have a test once a week but it's easy when there's only one chapter to remember at a time. Make sure you always make note cards he gives extra credit for them. He's very helpful and a great professor. I would take him again!

He's really nice and helpful. A good connect to keep around the school, or for a letter of recomendation. His class is also easy. A good prep class into college.

decent class, great professor. deviates from the textbook about half way through the semester, but he teaches more practical, worldly knowledge such as current events etc. and the assignments are easy. very good professor and anyone putting forth any effort has no excuse not to get an A in his class

The beggining of the semester was all book work. Study the chapters andtake easy quizes and tests. The other half of the semester was about the real world and was still pretty easy. Only two one page papers.

"introduction to the college experience" sounds like a cake-walk (and it is) but Prof. Davis will treat it like a legit class for the first month or so. Just show up, participate often, and actually study the textbook. He will lighten up if you show him that you can carry yourself like an adult.

Cried the last day of class. Professor Davis was the most amazing professor and the most inspiring. Loved to hear his thoughts on things, very very intelligent professor. Cares about his students and wants them all to learn how to be the best they can be. He's also hilarious. If you ever need anything he'd be there for you instantly.

I was debating on dropping out because I had a lot going on in my life when I started but this professor inspired me to not give up. AMAZING if he taught another class I would take him in a heart beat. He made me look forward to the class. He is funny and laid back. But don't miss the assignments and always check blackboard.

Professor Davis is hilarious, he does and tells you what other teachers at other schools wont say or do for you, and he cares about your grade. His class is easy the tests were all online. Just prepare for a lot of flash cards and online work for each chapter but for the most part those were easy and an easy grade.

Definition of BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!! He is hilarious, easy and super caring. As long as you show up and do the journals online ( which are a piece of cake) you will pass. He talk about real life stuff and is in class discussions which are really entertaining since he is HILARIOUS! 3rd time I am taking him and wouldn't take anyone else.

TAKE HIM IF YOU ARE TAKING SLS AND NO ONE ELSE! it was easy but you also learn and hes hilarious! such a joy to go to this class. if you do your work you will get an A. but he will call you out in class if you don't do your work or miss class. he really cares about his students doing well and he gives you second chances on assignments sometimes

A very laid back and enjoyable course. He posts all of the assignments online, so you know what you need to do if you miss a day. Very funny, inspirational, and motivating. Cares not only about success in his class, but every class. Talk to him and get to know him. He wants the best for you. Good amount of homework, but none of it was difficult.

Very knowledgeable about the topics discussed and spent a good amount of time on each of the topics. I took this class during the summer and what I learned in this class will help be successful in my future college classes.

By far one of the best professors EVER. He's hilarious, very nice, gives great advice, marks you on time as long as you bring a snack for him, makes you do flashcards of the chapters (a lot but not bad), and short (actually fun) essays at the end of semester. Definitely would take again, he made my Monday & Wednesday mornings worth waking up for!

Made my mornings fun, always jokes around with his students, and flashcard homework is a hassle but nothing too bad. 2 Movie/film essays towards the end of semester, and one 5-page essay as the final (turned in on Blackboard). Professor Davis is the man! Took him for 1501 and jumped on board his 1201 class because he is just that awesome. He really cares about his students and he is a bit like a tough love parent. The key to his class is just do the work and don't make excuses. He is working on his doctorate and he does his job, if he can he knows you can.

Take this class if you see an open seat! This class was literally life changing. I took him for SLS1201 and it helped me get through my other classes. He has the best lectures! He's a cool teacher but his humor is soooo cringe. like he tries to be funny and cool and sometimes he is because he keeps it real, but if you're like me who thinks everything is cringey then you'll think so too. other than that class is easy, he's cool, lets out early & exams are cakeeee.

Prof. Davis is a really chill teacher very funny. But he gives you homework that will be annoying but they are worth it. His lectures really open you eyes to things many of us should know but have not been taught.

i took an 8 am class and it was awesome hes hilarious and has so much charisma i really enjoyed taking his class.

Every assignment he gives you is easy. Towards the end of the year we got assigned a 3, 4 and 5 page paper in 3 weeks but he grades it on completion rather than the quality of your work. He was hilarious and almost always ended his classes early because class time wasnt important from this class. Take advantage of his note cards!!

Not gonna lie, I found him extremely annoying in the beginning but I've grown to love this professor. His class is really easy. It's just lots of busy work. He's the best and you wont regret taking him if you do. He touches on lots of subjects about life and that will be helpful in the long run.

He gives really good advice and pushes you to work hard and chase after what you want. He also gives a fair amount work and grades fairly as well. Just make sure you turn things in on time and show up to class.

this class is designed for traditional students i am a non-traditional student and Professor Davis is by far one of the most impactful professors I've had. besides the material his real world & college advice helped me tremendously. Take his class, you will not regret it.

Prof. Davis is a homie. I'd recommend taking him if its your first time in college or just in general. He makes the boring class not so boring and makes you laugh quite a bit. ALWAYS make extra notecards if you're taking him for SLS. tests are all online and i found 90% of the answers on quiz-let. The movies and essays at the end are whack.

Phenomenal Professor! Do the work and he will place you on a gold platter, but be warned that if you dont he will call you out on it, he doesn't play games or take excuses. Be honest and show effort and you'll be best friends. Book is mandatory, you will not pass without. Do extra flash cards! If he asks for 15 do 60, you will not regret it.

Professor Davis was amazing this semester and the class was interesting and eye opening. As long as you work with him as far as actually doing the assignments instead of waiting last minute or not at all he will work with you. Assignments are really easy and the textbook is required. The beginning is all basically on mind tap but later on you have to write about 2 or 3 papers. He makes the environment comfortable enough to make you feel like family. Took this class on campus & absolutely loved it! Professor Davis is hilarious and pushes you to be the best version of yourself for a successful future. He offers lots of extra credit. Weekly assignments are straightforward and not time consuming. Tests are based off the book. Attendance is mandatory and part of your grade. Highly recommend!!!

Professor Davis gives a lot of assignments but also gives a lot of extra credit. Ended the class with a 113.5%. Take him! He's very funny and understanding, 10/10 would recommend him to anyone just coming into college!

When I tell you this is the best professor I've ever had, I mean it. If you can take Dr. Davis for any class TAKE IT! I ended the class with a 103%, he gives extra credit like every week and basically makes it impossible to fail. He does give us flashcards to make every week but it's an easy A. This is a professor that you will NOT regret taking!

If you're looking for an easy A here it is. I took an express term and I feel the amount of work he gave for how easy it was very reasonable. always do more note cards than what he assigns for extra credit. and prepare for long stories and lectures in class.
