Gallop is the best teacher I have ever taken I took both intro to business and business ethics with him he really connects with his students and is a very funny person I would reccomend him to anyone you will love the class's

Legal Environment of Business with him is fun. I had no interest in taking the required class, but he makes it enjoyable and I actually look forward to showing up to class.

He makes this class fun. I had absolutely no interest in business law, but he can relate the information to real life experiences which makes it easier and more interesting. I actually look forward to going to class.

EXCELLENT instructor!!! Even if you go into this class with little interest in the subject you'll leave with an overwhelming amount of information that you can actually grasp. He makes the class worth every penny. I have yet to meet anyone who has taken this class that didn't love it! He has great stories too.

He is a great teacher- Very funny, helpful, and gives lots of real-life examples (He was the "Gallop" in "Milavetz, Gallop, and MIllavetz" so he knows what he is talking about!)

This is a legal environment of business class. This is the greatest class I have ever taken. Jon is the funniest professor I have ever had, you laugh the whole class. Definitley recommend.

Attendence is not mandatory but hardly uses the book. The tests are based off his lectures. Its not an easy class but he is a great professor, he keeps you interested with his lectures. I suggest you take this class.

Absolutley one of the best that ARCC has to offer; wish they had more like him. Go to class, take notes; guaranteed to learn and will enjoy it as you go. Outstanding lecturer, he definitely knows his stuff. You need to take detailed notes because that's what the three tests are on. Attend all classes, he records who's missing.

I would highly recommend taking Jon as an instructor. He's a former lawyer himself, so he has lots of real world exprience. His lectures were very entertaining, which made the class fun. Expect to take a fair amount of notes, and try not to miss any class (it pays off in the end).

I really enjoyed legal environment of business with Jonathan Gallop. He is an excellent professor; his lectures are very interesting (funny!!!) and hold a lot of wisdom about the legal aspects of business. Even if not a business major, I highly recommend taking the class, there?s a lot of good information that you can draw from and use in life.

I took his class online-He was the best online teacher I have had. He graded assignments the same day and gave good specific feedback-The discussion aspect of the class was a great way to learn extra. The professor was very involved unlike most online discussions. Great class.

His Legal class is the best class you can imagine. He was a lawyer for over 20 years before he retired to teach and his gives us so much practical info. He is very interesting and funny, but his lectures always have a point. Great class.

I took this class online. I would suggest Mr. Gallop to everyone. The subject he teaches is beneficial to everyday life, and he is passionate about his work. This class was challenging, and very very rewarding to anyone who is willing to put the time and effort in. Anyone who doesn't do well in this class has themself to blame.

It was such a pleasure to have a teacher who seemed to really care about what we learned. His lectures are so good. He is funny and interesting and you won't want to miss class. The tests are pretty fair, more from the lecture than the book.Take this class and then take really good notes and you should get a decent grade.

A great class because the teacher was fabulous. He has passion rarely seen these days. The lectures fly by and are interesting and funny. He is a lawyer who gives you the real world view unlike many professors and textbooks. You won't want to miss a lecture. I wish he taught more classes. Tests are multiple choice with a couple essays questions.

I took this class a year and a half ago and since that time have enrolled at a university and I have had many teachers in both community colleges and university and he is so much better than all of them. Take this class and see how good a professor can be. He is interesting and funny and actually gives a damn.

The best instructor I have met. He is very knowledgeable and teaches with real world scenarios. None of the research paper BS that you will never use out in the workforce. As long as you don't miss class and take good notes, you should do great in the class. I learned more from this class than any other and had very little HW. Funny how that works.

Legal Environment of Business. Recommended that this class be taken in person and not online. Very heavy on the lecture and attendance is essential. Limited book use, but you are expected to read it. It is advised to take copious notes. This is the best class I have ever taken. I have gotten more out of this class than any other.

Took him for both Legal Environment of Business and Business Ethics. By far the best professor I've ever had. Knew what he was talking about, and taught key concepts well. He teaches everything in a way that is easily applied in tests and real life. Make sure you know your stuff for the essay questions on the tests. Multiple choice is super easy.

I took this class last fall with him and it was one of the best classes I have ever taken. He is very knowledgeable in the Law area and his past experience as a lawyer helps him give the best examples that are very easy to apply to the chapter your on. The tests are very easy!!! Thanks to this class, I am now going into Business Law!

The ethics class is so different from other classes. He changes the manner in which you look at issues. You have to do one oral speech. I thought oh no, I hate doing that, but it was fine and helped me get over the fear of speaking or at least have less fear. Don't miss class. Lots of class participation.

This guy is awesome. He knows what he is talking about and teaches it in a way that you will understand and remember. I learned more from this class than any other class, and still remember all of it 1 year later! That is because he actually teaches and isn't on a mission to trick you with crazy amounts of HW and ridiculously hard tests.

The best teacher I have ever had! His teaching style is like no other. His lecture is based on his real life experiences as a lawyer and is delivered in a simple, clear (sometimes funny) manner! His office door is always open and he seems to truly care about his students. I highly recommend his classes! You will not regret.

Best teacher I have ever had. He was a lawyer and teaches for fun. Great lectures that actually help you remember information. He had the whole class laughing multiple times. Tests can be difficult, but he tells you the essay questions ahead of time. Spent very little time outside of class and still learned the most of any class that I have taken.

Professor Gallup was without a doubt, one of the best teachers I've had. He was a top lawyer for years and owned and ran a huge law-firm. He is a real world teacher who cares that you truly understand the reality of the business law. I learned and enjoyed his class a lot. If you show him effort, he will reflect it in your grade. He's GREAT!

I was in his online class and really enjoyed it. I also went to lecture twice and loved it; lectures are fun and interesting which really helped me remember the material. He graded my online assignments within hours after I turned them in and was very helpful. Tests are pretty easy. There is a lot of reading though with some involved terminology.

I've taken a few classes with him and I wish he taught every class because he is seriously that interesting. He makes his students excited to come to class and doesn't just read the course material off Power Point slides, he teaches concepts, not things that you will study, memorize, & forget once the semester is over. If you can take him, DO IT!

Gallop was an amazing professor. Lots of lectures but they are interesting and his passion for law made me want to go into law. I would take him as a professor again if I could.

An amazing professor. I really enjoyed going to his classes. Which by the way, I would recommend. He does grade based upon attendance as well. He has so much experience and gives you real world tips. I feel like I could really use a lot of the things he taught after college, which I can't say about a lot of classes. He's also hilarious!

John is the best professor ever! I went to school everyday because I wanted to hear his lectures. I am so sad that this class ended. He has taught me so much in life. This is a life started class.

I want to first lay a foundation for my rating - I have taken 3 of Mr. Gallop's classes. He is not only one of the most caring teachers I've had, he is also one of the toughest teachers I've had. His toughness is fueled by his desire for each student to leave his class equipped with tools to face the real working world. Hard but worth the tuition!

Your grade consists of three tests and attendance. The tests are based off his lectures which are very interesting so I advise going to every class. Super funny professor, he uses rather pg-13 humor though.

I took his legal class online. It was fabulous-He gives detailed feedback and really calls on when you just submit a lousy submission. His video lectures are so good I had others in my family watch them. Make sure you participate in discussion by authoring and reading posts-

This was an online class, but he puts his lectures online and they are great-He gives feedback right away and this class forces you to look at things in a whole new way-really eye-opening. I only wish I could have taken him seated, but this was the best online class I have taken.

He is by far one of the best professors at Anoka-Ramey. His class is not just a go to class, do homework and get a grade, YOU ACTUALLY LEARN REAL LIFE STUFF. Its basically all lectures, but they are really interesting and you will stay engaged for the entire class. He is also super funny and made the class really fun and interesting!

I loved his class--his lectures are very engaging and I was able to learn so much about law--in this class, you cover civil/criminal court cases, contracts, torts, and employment practices. It sounds dull but he actually makes the material very interesting and you won't want to miss class! Tests are not too hard, as long as you study your notes.

He is an absolutely amazing instructor! His energy and comedy kept me engaged the entire class period. Also, he's a former attorney, so he always has a story to include during lectures which was an extremely helpful learning tool. He puts a lot of emphasis on making sure you understand the content rather than the grade.

Best professor Ive had by far! I never usually post ratings like this but I basically feel like I need to, because everyone should take classes with him if they get the opportunity.

He makes the class really interesting with real life experience and doesn't just teach out of the textbook. Take good notes in order to do well on exams, but basically no homework the whole semester. (On exams there are essay questions. Just write as much stuff down as you know. Once didn't know very well, but still got almost full credit.)

My best class so far in my 2 years at anoka! Mr. Gallop makes this class useful in life. So many times classes just teach you textbook learning targets thankful this isnt one of those. If you take this class you will walk away with very useful information that can be applied to daily life. You also will never be bored in his class Very good prof

I took a class with him online. Ask questions by email or phone and he will get back to you. He gives great detailed feedback after every assignment. Read lecture notes and do all your assignments and exams on time. Participate in the class discussion and you will get a good grade, but also learn real-world knowledge. I highly recommend him.

Was the best Professor I have ever had. He was very caring, very active lectures, Group discussions, allowed computers for notes (not phones, he would call you out of you were on your phone) I would recommend recording his lectures because some of the ways he describes and goes over notes are 10 times better.

Prof Gallop is a good professor. Returned emails quickly and was accommodating. He constantly engages with the online discussion and encourages the class to get more involved by reading each and everyone's posts. He always left a good amount of feedback on assignments, but can come off as passive aggressive if you make a small mistake.

He is a great professor who gives great feedback on assignments. I accidentally missed the deadline of a quiz and he still let me take it after the deadline. His lectures are really funny and very easy to understand and really cares about his students learning about the law of business.

The professor wrote his own textbook. The class is extremely easy, sooooo easy, IF YOU DO ONE THING, follow the textbook. I watched so many people half-assing the class. This is an easy A, just follow and do what's expected. Use his ASPIRE method for the assignments and you'll do great.

I would take a class with Gallop again in a second. Responsive to students. Just read what is required and be open with him, and you will pass. He is good at giving feedback, so if you take that feedback and try to use it - you'll do just fine. Make sure you are active in class discussions too. The work is really pretty easy if you do all this.

Prof is great. Uses real world examples to teach us to analyze. He wrote his own book, which is way cheaper and more interesting than any other text book I have read. Highly recommend this class and teacher

Professor Gallop is totally engaging and passionate about teaching . He goes the extra step to make sure you understand the material. Professor Gallop uses everyday situations to explain the material. I found his book , The CIDER Method so easy to follow and understand. He actually wrote the text book. Take a class from Professor Gallop.

Prof Gallop has so much real world experience. He cares about teaching and worked hard to make sure I was learning by reaching out to see if I was okay when I missed an assignment. Plus hes so interesting. Best textbook ever. And way cheaper than other books

Jonathan Gallop is by far, the best professor I've ever had and I'm about to graduate. If you can take any of his classes, I highly recommend you do. He gives great feedback, entertaining lectures, he's hilarious, and he genuinely cares. You don't see that very often in a professor. Thank you Prof. Gallop for a wonderful semester! By far the best professor I have ever had. I took an accelerated class with Prof. Gallop and I will miss it- I wish it were longer. He gave very engaging lectures, they were full of jokes, and so were the quizzes. He gave very good feedback and responded quickly to emails. This was my favorite professor and class that I took at ARCC! Prof. Gallop was an amazing teacher and I learned so much from this class and had fun doing it! Truly enjoyed this class and would take it again with Prof. Gallop. Textbook was very interesting too! Took this class accelerated- still learned a lot and had enough time to turn things in.

Professor Gallop is amazing! He truly cares about his students actually learning the material. This class if an easy A if you watch and read the lectures, are active in the discussion posts, and if there is one thing you must do is to follow his ASPIRE method! If you do that, you'll be set for a great learning experience and grade in this class!

Does a good job of wanting you to succeed in life with the information he gives and does not focus on busy work or grading things that have no purpose.

Three exams with 2-3 written questions and 50 questions a piece.He is a brilliant man who cares about the subject and wants to help students. He gives real life advice that will save you time,money and stress in your life.I promise not taking his class will take from beneficial learning. I will take what I learned and use it always. you will enjoy.

Interesting classes, explains concepts super well, and super funny sometimes. Little to no homework. I look forward to taking his ethics class in the future. I learned so much from his class.

One of the best professors I have had. You can tell he really cares about teaching students and wants them to learn. I took the accelerated course so there were assignments quite often but it was very manageable.

I loved his lectures; they are engaging and make you think. I took his advanced course, but the assignments were manageable. You have to read every post and discuss it to get total points in discussions. I recommend anyone to take his class. He is passionate about what he teaches and delivers it well. Great Professor! Very passionate about the class and is very good at explaining themes. One of the few professors who you can tell loves their job, and even being online, it is super clear! Looks overwhelming at first, but it is manageable. Make sure you participate in the discussions, tho.
