It's a lot of lecture but the simulation we do in class is super fun. He gives a lot of extra credit/easy grade boosters so even if you're not doing so good you can make those points up. Total of 10 quizzes and final is not cumulative. He assigns a lot of readings so make sure you read them.

Daddy Keller, ugh what a man. He makes it very clear that this class is not a statistic class, and instead more so of a research class. He makes the class as easy as possible. He did give us 8 pop quizzes but they were all announced at least one class period before hand. I love his sense of humor and he genuinely tries to help you.

I LOVED this class. Dr. Keller is the most wholesome man I have ever met, his tests are hard but if your go to class, do the study guide, readings, and and ask questions you will get an A. Does a really cool foreign policy simulation (makes the class really applicable). TAKE HIM!!

Love this class! Graded on a few in class online quizzes, 3 exams, a small paper, and an online simulation. Lectures can get a little boring but is very informative. Quizzes and exams aren't super hard. the simulation was very fun and interesting. Def recommend taking this class with Keller!

Knows his stuff and gives lots of extra credit opportunities. 10 quizzes- 4 were async on canvas. 1 short paper and 3 non cumulative exams. His exams are tough but if you use his canvas review sheets, it's not too bad. The IR simulation is fun if you get a good group. I recommend him for Poli Sci and Int Affairs majors, you get a lot out of it.

he was like fine. Lots of extra credit, attendance is only required on "simulation days", the course is split up between lecture/content, and a semester long project/game called state craft (you basically run your own country with a group). If you go to class and study you should do fine. I never did the readings and I still found the class easy.

Dr. Keller is a good professor and is passionate about his work. But you NEED to show up to class or you will get behind. There's 3 exams that are a little challenging, I started studying 7-10 days out from each exam and I was okay. He gives a lot of extra credit, especially if you come to class. Read the textbook, show up, and you'll be good.

Keller is a great professor! I will say his exams can be a lot, so make sure your notes are detailed and you're coming to class. A lot of the content taught is not on the lecture slides. Lots of extra credit opportunities, but graded on a few things, so small assignments can impact your grade a lot. Would recommend his class!

i think keller makes it impossible to fail this class. there's an eight-week simulation that gives you extra credit + badge points every class to help you if you don't know a question on the test. tests are 300 points each, but it's really nothing given how much help he offers. very concise and passionate with his lecturing.

Amazing professor, his lectures can get boring but if you pay attention you'll actually learn. Attendance is only mandatory on days he'll assign to use for the simulator (extra credit). He gives incredible study guides and if you show up to class and answer top hat questions correctly you'll get extra credit for the exam.

Easily the best professor I have EVER taken! Exams were a massive portion of the grade, but if you do the study guide and go to the review session the class before each exam you'll do fine. Attendance is a need if you want extra credit to use on exams, as well as to pass the simulation. Lectures are also super interesting!

Such an amazing professor, gives you so many opportunities for extra credit. Exams are equal to 65% of your total grade but he gives you many chances to earn extra points on exams. His simulations are fun and that provides you overall extra credit. Lectures can get a tad boring but still they aren't that bad. Great professor and interesting class.
