he is a great professor
This teacher is so beautiful. He is helpful and his tests are easy. He is very easy on the eyes. Take him!
I wish this guy taught more classes. Easy teacher but you learn alot without studying. Take him.
cool guy talk to him outside of class
Very good teacher!!!! Nice and easy to talk to. Take him!!
Easy class, interesting stuff. Really nice guy. If he taught mroe classes I would take him for all of them.
Good teacher
What a great teacher!! I wish he taught all my classes. He is very nice and helpful if you have a problem. His tests are easy and he will tell you a honest evaluation of your work. TAKE HIM you won't regret it.
You need to do some work to get an A. but this class should be a very easy B. His lectures are always cut short ie 1:20mins is normally 45 mins. He doesnt BS he covers what you need to know for the test and normally can keep your attention. GREAT PROF!
He's such a nice guy in and out of class. Material is easy to learn, he's very fair in grading so if you deserve an A, that's what you'll get.
great guy talk to him after class he has some cool stories
hes awesome, wants to see his students succeed. take him u wont regret it.

He's a nice guy and throws in a joke here and there. The material isn't that difficult but his tests can be. Read the chapters good and study the notes and you should do ok. Go to the extra credit speakers. It'll raise your grade a couple percentage points!!
Kremser is the man, he's easily understood and has both passion and persiverence to teach. He makes CRJ fun which many instructors fall short of this specific talent. The girls like his looks and the guys like how cool he is.
Very great teacher. Took him for 3 courses and will definetly take him again. Actually cares and will work with any student. Take him for any CJ class.
Great teacher. Tests are somewhat difficult for most people, but go to class and read the book, cuz the tests are a combo of both lecture notes and book material. Highly recommended.
THIS MAN IS CRAZY!! HE'S VERY DRY AND TRIES TO CRACK A FEW JOKES. HES A VERY WORDY TEACHER WHICH MAKES THE TEST HARD. HES CONFUSING. KREMSAR IS NICE AND ALL BUT HE JUST ISNT GOOD AT TEACHING. IF U GO TO HIM AFTER CLASS HE HELPS OUT ALOT BUT OTHERWISE I WOULD LOOK FOR SOME OTHER TEACHER.
This guy is very dry. He single-handedly makess a very interesting topic boring. Not the best professor to take at 9am, either, unless you're still **** from the night before or you drank your coffee and ate your Wheaties beforehand. I would reccomend someone else.
He's a great professor. His classes contain interesting discussions about current issues in society. His classes are not entertaining, but remember he's here to teach us not entertain.(maybe class would be a little more interesting if he dressed up as a clown and performed magic tricks)
classes are boring, has dry dumb humor, take someone else if u can becuase his tests are bizarre and makes questions complicated
he's the best. if you are having a hard time in his class maybe you should try to actually go to class. his test are a little hard but if you go to him before the test he'll will help you out alot.
Kremser is a GREAT teacher to take for any CJ class. He cares about all the students and wants them to know the material. I highly recommend him.
A little boring, but otherwise a good teacher. Tests are hard but an A is very possible, a B should be no problem. If ur no good at multiple choice, might be the wrong prof. He will go out of his way to help you. Very intelligent. U'll learn a lot. I would def. take him again.
Kremser was kind of dull, but he really knows what he's talking about. When he would get heated or passionate about something, it made class more interesting. However, that didn't happen much. He's a nice guy, just boring.

He is a really good guy and really knows his stuff.
Professor Kremser is an good teacher. His tests are fairly easy to understand and you dont have to read the book much at all. Just go to class and do the extra credit. I got an A without very much effort.
he was wonderful and he helped me out alot
This guy is a great proff. and human being, unlike many of the witches roaming this school faculty. I'll be taking him again when i get to his other higher level courses
Very Nice, cares for his students.
hes a nice guy but when hes lecture he gets off topic a lot and just starts rambling on about another topic. this makes it very hard 2 take notes and study. his tests rnt that hard tho. i didnt use the book all semester and got a decent grade, but i think he tries 2 read rite out of the book during class.
Nice Guy
Really nice guy. Tests arent bad at all if u take notes. Dont need the book. Ive had him before this class and i would definitly take him again!
Excellent teacher. Straight forward and to the point. Test questions are mainly from in class notes. Would definietely take other classes he teaches. He's also attractive, which is a pleasant change from other profs at KU.
Very good teacher. Tests are directly from lecture. He is very helpful. After taking his class, I considered CRJ as a major and he was there to help me the whole way. NO book needed. Has a sense of humor. Really good guy
Find a friend in the class and work out a schedule where one person goes to class one day and the other goes the other days. Take good notes and copy the notes for each other. Much easier and you only have to sit through class half the time. Tests based on notes so no need for the book.
keeps lectures relatively interesting. provides useful notes. attendance (naturally) helps because test material comes from notes or lectures. great professor overall
SO GORGEOUS
Good guy. Just go to class take good notes don't miss a class so you fall behind. tests come right from the lectures and your book is there to guide you as well. 3 in class tests and one final. random quizzes..so attend class!!! he tries 2 help as much as he can and relates the class to the real criminal justice world. hes good i recommend for into
i would say go to class. he gives random quizzes. if u study outta the book u should be alrite his test are based a lot on the book and his lectures
Class is somewhat boring. He gives random quizzes so make sure you go to class. They are open notes. As long as you go to class, read your notes, and read the book prior to the tests, the class is an easy B. Put some effort in and maybe an A.
great teacher. i found his class veryy interesting and im not a CRJ major. even when i was out sick for a long time, he was there to catch me up on everything. as long as you go to class & take the notes, you will do great!
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MAN
Great Professor helpful in everyway. Tests are from the book and lecture notes. Does a good review prior to exams. Would take him again.
Kremser is a fantastic teacher. He is passionate and clear. I'm not a CRJ major and he helped me immensely!
VERY good teacher. Extremely helpful and very friendly. He seems to skip around, but he really doesn't, he just picks out the important parts of his lectures. Uses power point. Random open book quizzes. You don;t even have to read the text book jsut go to class and read the power point
VERY boring! When he speaks he is very monotone. It is hard to stay awake. He is a nice guy and means well, but just extremely boring. He puts up powerpoints and just talks. I never know what to study for tests.
He's an overall good guy and really nice. He can be kind of boring during class. When it comes test time if you aren't sure if you know the material or not go see him; HE IS WILLING TO HELP :)
Dr. Kremser is a good guy,but kinda gets lost as far as course material. Seems to repeat the information over and over again, and when test time comes you're unsure of what you learned. Uses black board to post PP slides, and he posts grades the next day for exams. The book is not necessary for class, he said it himself..the last day of class!!
He really isn't a bad teacher... gets off topic sometimes though. Sometimes it's really hard to pay attention to him stand in front of the class and just talk. All of his exams are open note. Final is also open note but cumulative. All in all I would take him for more classes.
Great Prof. clear and if you are lost simply ask he will fill you in. Textbook is not needed for this class, posts all notes via blackboard, and gives a review prior to exams which are mult. choice. Would take him again.
This class was fairly easy. He is a really nice guy and loves what he does. He knows a lot of the material which is good. The exams are really easy if you pay attention in class and take some notes.
The class itself was interesting, however while Prof Kremser may be a nice guy, I could never pay attention to him. Every class he would nearly put me in a coma for how boring he was. He is very monotone and does nothing but read from PP slides. He also gets off topic, and has to look up info on issues he brought up, very unprepared.
Kremser is a great teacher. I am a CJ major, and he might be my favorite teacher out of all the CJ professors. He explains everything very well, is a very nice guy, and is very interesting during lecture. He is very approachable and a very cool guy to talk to after class too. I will most definitely be taking him again. Great guy!
Kremser is very nice and tries to be funny but was very unorganized for Juv Justice Sys. If you are one for organized notes, order, and detail (like me) DO NOT TAKE! I would recommend him otherwise.. I personally just did not know what to write or what I was expected to know
My first and only time taking him, I found it difficult to pay attention during lecture because he seemed unprepared and was often just showing us random websites and news clippings related to Juvenile Justice. It was unclear whether this info would be tested until the last minute. While I learned the basics of Juv. Jus., I wouldn't recommend him.
One of my favorite professors, he is so nice although he seems unorganized and not prepared for class he knows what he's talking about, show up to class and listen you won't have to buy the book. Test are easy if you study your notes. The paper I wrote for his class seemed hard and I was nervous about but it took me 45 mins and I got a 97.
Very easy teacher, doesn't make a big deal if classes are missed and any missed quizzes or tests may be made up at the end of the semester when taking the final.
Kremser is a fantastic teacher and would defiantly take again. He relies heavily on the book but if you look over the chapters you shouldn't have a problem. He is willing to stay after class and explain something if you don't understand. HE GIVES POP QUIZES SO GO TO CLASS! They are open book and note, prtty much giving out points.
His classes are boring, there are pop quizzes all the time so go to class! His tests are nearly impossible but he give a lot of points to balance it all out.
If you want to pass this class I suggest that you attend he does not take attendance but he gives random quizes that will effect your grade drastically. His tests are based off of information from the book and his slides correspond right from the information provided in the book so just pay close attention bring the book with you and highlight key notes his powerpoints for each chapter reviewed is located on D2L so pay close attention his tests are either 3-4 chapters
Kremser was once of my favorite professors at KU. In class things can get mundane, but sometimes that's just how this field is! In CRJ, not everything is going to be cops and murders and exciting or enthralling. Kremser is to the point and you can learn A LOT from him if you take the time to have a conversation with him. I definitely recommend!
He's probably the best CRJ professor out there, but his class is very much based off the book, so make sure you read it. His quizzes are all based off the book and his tests are (OPEN NOTE) and based off of the notes he gives in class, so i suggest you go to class as much as possible. He also makes the class really interesting and genuinely cares!
Dr. Kremser is a genuinely nice guy, but don't plan on getting an A in this class. His pop quizzes are open book but it doesn't matter because some of the questions aren't in there. His tests aren't impossible, but you have to study (read the book very thoroughly) A LOT to just get a B on a test. He didn't curve any grades. No +'s or -'s for grade.
Easily my favorite professor here. He is such an intelligent person and has an amazing background. He will always help, and never makes class intimidating. Tests are online, gives extra credit opportunity and posts powerpoints on d2l. I plan on taking him as much as I can. He may seem unorganized at times, but he knows what he's talking about!
He doesn't teach what's on the exams and it's not in the book either. I'm a really bad test taker so that's part of the problem, but I've failed two of his exams because the questions he asks on exams aren't in the notes he gives or even in the book, I don't know why he assumes that we know the answers.
All our exams were on D2L but very detail specific and had to really think about the questions. Lectures were information heavy and kinda all over the place. Never took attendance and no one came to class. I showed up to all classes and I'd say that helped me learn the material. A good person but all over the place with teaching.
I took this teacher for my senior sem class and was it bad. I highly suggest you don't take this teacher if it is online. He refuses to have lectures because it is online and "nobody will listen". We had 3 ways to get graded in his class. 1 paper and 2 tests. He is just the worst professor, he had no desire teach which made it hard to work at home.
Dr. Kremser is a really tough teacher. I have him currently for CRJ 175. He has a very strict syllabus and is not willing to go out of his way to help you. In the syllabus, it says he will not respond to emails, which is true. If you need him, you have to find him outside of class, even though he doesn't stick to his office hours.
I took Professor Kremser for Homeland Security & Management, and he always had a smile on his face. Very friendly and caring guy. There was an online assignment each week, a few in class assignments, and a paper and presentation at the end. Class was a little bit boring at times but Professor Kremser is definitely a great professor regardless.
Dr. Kremser is a kind man who will work with you no matter the question you have, trust me you'll end up talking about any aspect of the CJ system there! I don't believe he counts attendance but be prepared for exam questions to be straight from in-class notes and lectures. Overall, would recommend adding him to your next semester's course load!!
I took his CRJ 10 classes and ended up dropping it. He's the worst professor I've had here. He doesn't want you to contact him period or even email him if you're not going to class cause you're sick. He was very disrespectful to me. He didn't like being asked for exams back to even see what you got wrong. Would definitely not recommend taking him.
I took 171 not 170 but Dr. Kremser is a very laid-back prof. He actually understands we're adults and doesn't keep an attendance grade. As long as you go and do the in-class assignments you'll get an A or B. Very easy and informative. He can be hard to reach but it makes sense because he does work outside the university in loss prevention.
Dr. Kremser is the nicest criminal justice professor in the department. He always comes to class with a smile on his face and tries to keep his students engaged. He treats students with respect and like they are adults. Will work with you no matter what the issue is. Take him!!
Dr. Kremser did not make much clear during the semester. Grades were often wrong with no feedback at all. Tells you not to email him at all. Attendance isn't mandatory but a few quizzes were given randomly with no warning. Would not recommend unless you want to do all of the learning on your own outside of class.
horrible professor.
does not care about his students. won't even read your emails. calls his students adults but doesn't treat you like an adult. should be an elementary music teacher.
Wanted to like this professor because his exams were online and he did not take attendance, but your never know what to expect from a kutztown professor. passed his class with a C. grumpy old guy… tells students not to email him. overall would not recommend this prof.
My advisor told me this was an easy A. realistically this prof destroyed my gpa. he didn't answer any of my emails the whole semester.
Dude is a bot.
Would not recommend this professor to my friends. Does not teach. I went to office hours and he wasn't there. When that happened he reminded me of some of the south dining hall workers.
Dr. Kremser is a very nice man, but tends to just talk at you and class can be hard to get through. Doesnt grade much outside of tests and so far we have only had a midterm which covered 5 chapters. He is willing to work with you on things, but he is hard to reach outside of class time so try to ask questions in class or after
Avoid this professor at all costs. When he lectures it is hard to follow along and make notes off of his chicken scratch on the board. He does not do ppt slides. Ever since the midterm he did nothing but cancel class or play videos in class and then expected us to know what would be on the final exam. gives a midterm, final &class assignments.
He does not teach. Not organized, just see a topic and throws whatever comes to his minds. Always gets late to the classroom and leaves early.
He is a good and respectable professor BUT it is very difficult to follow along being that he doesn't have power points or slides. You really need to pay attention or you will fail. He is pretty easy to contact and easy to communicate too. Let's class out early most days as well. Recommend getting an early time!
