Loved this teacher! he gives you lots of ways to pass his tests are scantron; when he teaches it's not always clear but you can ask him questions overall he is a very nice guy and a good teacher!

Do not listen to the other people on here he is a wonderful teacher and he makes you get the material i have always been horrible in math but he was awesome! take him!!!!!

Best math teacher I've ever had. Very clear and engaging in his teachings and makes you want to come to class. I took his for the summer and I really liked that he didn't hassle about attendence, he left it up to you and gives you a chance to make the A.

Professor Lucke, care about all his students and really wants you to get it and love it as much as he does. He breaks it down to such a basic form that even the most challenged student should get it. It was a fun class. He's also a pretty HOT math geek being 6'4 in his goofy way.

Prof. Lucke is the best math professor I've had at BC. He is so funny and will keep you interested throughout the class. He's great at explaining things and will help you no matter how silly of a question it is, until you get it. I recommend him fully and I'm even taking his mac2311 in the fall semester. Take him! its worth it, he's hilarious!

Prof. Locke is the best teacher I have had. I wish that I could take every math class with him. He takes the time to really help you understand it. And he will work with you as much as it takes till YOU get it. I have never seen someone LOVE math they way he does.

pretty cool teacher . i took him over the summer. he was soo interactive and moved around alot when explaining examples. he also cracked up a lot of jokes. man i would love to take him again for all my math courses but i attend a different school

Great at motivating and keeping individuals thinking. He was a bit unorganized at times and can change a train of thought in an instant, But he does that to ensure his message is understood. Prof Lucke is by far the BEST math teacher. Before him i was lost and he breaks it down in a way for all to understand. He is always willing to help and really wants to see his students succeed. I WILL be taking his classes when ever possible.

Having professor Lucke with College Algebra is extremely easy. He is very funny when he teaches. Although his schedule was a little messed up when I took him, his homework and tests/quizzes are extremely easy and you receive multiple attempts for to receive the best score! I recommend you take him for College Algrebra, you will enjoy him a lot!

this teacher is pretty cool! he teaches like the class is a bunch of little kids very enthusiastic about math, He was very understandable . that only thing I didnt like is he didnt give a course outline, NO tests just random quizes that you can take and retake until u pass them

If you don not need to take Calculus II and you want to get a SUPER EASY A on Calc I take him. If you have to take Calc II AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS, because you will definitely fail Calc II!

He's a nice guy but his teaching methods are unorganized half the time no one knew which chapter we were on. What's good is you can see him after class and he'll let you do make up work or retake a test. The math lab and tutoring pulled me through

He is very nice and very helpful, but I am very weak with math and even though I went to tutoring and studied a lot, I still got a C because I fell behind with the assessments. DO NOT FALL BEHIND WITH THE IN CLASS ASSESSMENTS! He will let you got to his office to make them up, but do it right after class or else you'll fall behind and regret it!

I loved this class. It is not as easy as it may look at first. You MUST do the assessments if not you may fail the course. He gives you a lot of opportunity to make up the assessments you it wisely. Very outspoken and funny...

Mr. Lucke is a really helpful and sweet man. He's a little nuts but he's really funny. He saved my butt last semester. I'm really bad a math and my final grade was a 68%, but he bumped me up to a C because I was always going after class for extra credit. I owe him big time... Thank god for professor Lucke! Definitely need to study though!!!

Great professor, makes you laugh and he explains the lessons in a way in which you can really understand and catch on. Before this class I hated math and now I walk around and calculate things Ive never done before without the use of a calculater. He also grades really fair as well as allows make up test. Stay ahead on ALEKS though. It helps.

not only did he help me understand math, which I used to hate, but he was the best teacher I have ever had in college, and I've had some great teachers at BC. He is pretty young but he is the best! I used to look forward to this class everyday (I never thought I would say that about a math class) Take him if you have the chance!

It's a good teacher, he tries to explain you a lot of the course. He guides you step by step in the quizes and explain you if you are doing something wrong and give you hits how to fix it and get back in track.

A mathematical Genius. Teaches you full understanding of how equations make all sorts of graphs. Attempts to explain math so you will see it work. It takes your part of time to practice. Overall Great teacher who gives you time to redo tests and get it right.

GREAT TEACHER! He uses videos to show the material and you get a classwork worksheet every day to complete. He is really helpful and explains things so you can understand! ALEKS is the most annoying part of this course but there is no way around it. He helps any way he can and I would suggest this professor over and over again! Amazing!

He is a really good teacher. All the test are kind of challenging. the questions will make you think is not something you can memorize, you actually have to understand the material and think outside the box. Grade=A.love this class just took in summer a. This class was a refresher of my highschool precalc class.didnt needbook. You take one long quiz the whole semester and you get to redo problems for a better score the next quiz. That "quiz" is worth 80% of the class. The final is 20% and was 20 mc questions. He's funny and quirky. I actually heard him humming the themes to Zelda and Jurrasic Park a couple times. You can tell he genuinely cares about this students grades. He's clear and concise, and he doesn't mine explaining things a few times if you're not getting it. He's by far the best professor I've had.

Really good professor, take him if you can. If you took precal in high school, it's a good refresher course. If you never took the course, it's still easy. he's always willing to help and he lets you take quizes over as much as you need. the book is only used for practice problems. There's no homework in his class. you shouldn't get lower than a B.

Sexy math geek. Very good at teaching the basics, which is what you need in this class. Gives you many opportunities to take tests over again and a lot of extra credit. Never makes you feel dumb. Dude is also hilarious although he can be moody sometimes. Absolutely take him. Doesn't care about attendance.

You need to buy the code for the class for the online work, pretty easy class, you will fall behind if you don't make friends who take good notes or show up to class every day. Tests are decent, he lets you retake it the following week & drops the lower grade.

I've taken Lucke for 3 classes. He grades fairly and posts practice tests. Lets you retake. He treats you like an adult. Come to class, don't come to class - but be there for the tests. Drops the lowest test grade. Don't buy the book, just get the online code and save $150. He is also hilarious. I've never been so happy to take an 8am class.

He is kinda funny! He gives make up tests and drops lowest. We used MyLabsPlus(HW only), which was the toughest part for me, because they require you to learn it a different way. My only issue is that he gets a tiny bit frustrated when no one understands, but any concerns ask for help (he wont bite). Very fair and nice. I hope to get a B!!!!!

Professor Lucke was excellent! Statistics is a VERY hard class, but he helped so much and had our best interest at hand. He does give second chances and is very funny and helpful. If you put the time he will help you! I said if you skip you won't pass because if you miss a lecture you will be lost if you struggle with math as I do. Amazing prof!

Extremely helpful and easy to understand. Allows you to retake tests if you do badly. His lectures are hilarious and engaging. Attendance not mandatory. MyLabsPlus online code required. Textbook may be useful. One project at the end, but it was easy. No group work. Take him if you're terrible at math and prefer to work alone.

I mean how much do I really have to say? Read my comment and 99% of the other students' and you'll see he's one of the most understanding, fair,energetic, hilarious teachers there is. He teaches in a way that's not boring and uses multiple levels of presenting the material. Just do H.W, take notes, STUDY EXAMPLES,and GRAPHING CALCULATOR is NEEDED!!

Professor Lucke teaches MATH and we all know math is not the easiest subject, but despite the tough material he engages you enough so you can understand it. He is passionate about his students learning and receiving a good grade. Good professor to take for all your math needs.

I think Mr. Lucke is great! After class he takes time with you. He allows you to retake tests which is what saved me. He truly does care about his students. No homework given and attendance was taken. Please take him and follow through till the end of the semester.

I am not lazy but tests make me extremely nervous so I forget everything I need to know. Professor Lucke took the stress away! And when I show up early I get some gardening advice. He is super easy! There was no homework at all only quizzes and tests that he allowed retakes on. In the beginning of class I actually had an F and managed to get an A because of all the retakes he allows! Super funny guy I would recommend for an easy A but not if you actually want to learn a lot.

He gives you a test every four days and their is no homework involved. If you pay attention and ask questions you will be okay. If your not good at math i would go the the math labs they help a lot and do all of you Alkes it counts for half of your grade.

First off, this is the easiest math class I have ever taken in my life. Mr. Lucke will let you take a test as many times as you want to get the grade you are looking for. You do have to buy the code for MyLabs because all of the homework is online. He also will drop your lowest test score so if you are doing well you dont have to take the final.

I absolutely LOVED having Mr. Lucke as my professor! He's hilarious and gives you many chances to remake tests. We had to use myLabs and that was the only problem (Sometimes it had things he didn't go over in class).

Easiest math class I've ever taken, I'm absolutely horrible at math. He allows you to redo any of the test you feel you didn't achieve the grade you would've liked. Attendance isn't mandatory. You must do your my labs. The book isn't mandatory but I bought it because i didn't go to class much and it worked out cheaper for the book bundle. Great guy

Also professor lucke was not difficult, he gave us a second chance to retake a test and dropped everyone lowest grade. that second chance reall helped me.

Best teacher ever!! My math level was so low, but with professor Lucke Jonathan, I was able to understand the class, and get an A. He gives us good advise by reminding us every day to do our mylabs. He also drops our lowest test score. If you are not a lazy student, please take him as he will make the class so easy and fun to be in.

This is a pretty easy class to pass, make sure you complete your ALEKS LABS because those are a big grade and also the exams which you should study for on ALEKS. He doesn't really care what you do with your grade, because at the end its your GRADE. Very laid back guy and throws in some jokes here and then in class.

What a great class. Professor Lucke explains in detail how to work each equation. Always answers questions every, never skips over students. If he lets out early and a student still has questions, he will stay after with you and help out in every way possible. Recommend to EVERYONE for ANY math!!!

Lucke is the man! I took him for intermediate algebra and I had this class once a week for 3 hours every Friday morning, he made me want to go and have fun. He's hilarious, lots of sarcasm, and a overall good guy. If you don't understand anything all you have to do is ask and he'll make sure you have it before proceeding. Homework is on Aleks

Very nice teacher. Class is very simple but was a short semester. Only does attendance for the first 2 weeks... DO ALEK! Most of the learning comes from Aleks so if you don't get it you wont pass.

Professor Luke is great. In class there are 4 test to complete but before each test was a study guide on Aleks. Aleks is a websit where all of your homework is located and where mosy of your teaching will come from. Overall his class isnt hard just do aleks, study, and try your best an you will pass.

His teaching is focused in conveying the principals that apply in order to solve math problems, it is up 2 u 2 &quot;re-inforce your preparation&quot; through the online platform Aleks which offers not only your homework but a variety of explanations and endless exercices to practice, learn and master the topics at all levels of difficulty. One of the best professors I had , that I decided to take him again for another math class this summer ! For starters hes funny and keeps the class engaged. His teaching style makes math fun ? And everyone knows math is not everyones favorite. He makes it simple so that everyone is able to understand. Highly recommend professor lucke!

Prof. Lucke is an amazing professor!! I took MAC1105 last term and MGF1106 this semester and passed both classes with a B. There are 6 quizzes (some are take home), mylabs hw (mandatory), and the final exam which is 15% towards the final grade and you can use notes for it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I absolutely love this man I was surprise how well I did in his class deeming this is the second time I have taken MAC 1105. he explains lectures well and so chill man. I like how easy he makes the class seems although MAC 1105 is a hard subject already.

This class had 4 tests (lowest dropped), MyLab homework, and a Final. He made the difficult material digestible. He allowed retakes on tests &amp; was always available after class. He showed he cared &amp; did as much as he could to help students pass. Hes also hilarious. I left his class feeling liked I learned so much &amp; was ready for Calc. Take him!

I loved him as a teacher. He kept it real and was willing to help if you asked. The homework is easy if you pay attention. If you struggle a lot with math, I dont recommend his class. He explains certain lessons in a weird but somehow understanding way.

Part 1: Lucke is pretty decent. 4 quizzes and a final. The only issue is this guy gives craploads of hw prob around like 30 my math lab assignments and you can easily fall behind. Unlimited retakes for quizzes which is good cause most people fail the first time cause of the time to study but he only has like 3-5 versions of a quiz so be mindfull.

Professor Lucke allowed us the whole semester to submit the homework as well as allowed us to retake our worse quiz grade. He dropped the worst quiz grade, it was an easyclass. He doesn't really care about attendance. We only had about 3 quizzes for the semester. He gave clear reviews of almost all the quizzes so you would know what was on the test

Part 2: Overall you really got to work for your grade. If you want the A you gotta take the test multiple times and do all the Hw which I held until the End which I dont recommend. Also, he can tell if you cheat with graphing calculators cause you gotta show work so if your gonna be mindful. O Ya Btw doesn't mean you can't do whats said above :)

The homework is on math labs, its not difficult and he helps you a lot if youre struggling. Hes very patient and is funny. Just do the homework and youll pass. The class is all about how much you try and if you dont try you definitely wont pass .

I had this guy like almost a decade ago and I still remember him as my favorite professor I ever had. Super nice, funny, respectful, caring, and down to earth. I'm not sure if he's even still teaching but I hope he's doing well.
