Prof.Nielson most definitely addressed homework assignment and exam related instructional directions through both via email communications and online website including live Zoom application meetings. Although, we honestly recommend avoiding off-topic historical news press commentaries from co-authorsEdgarBenitez;GabbyLopez; andRobertDees please.

Fellow classmates including friends and acquaintances honestly recommend Prof.Nielson's history courses, because there were plenty of talented lecture meetings given during class sessions and reminded me of CNN's NEWS REPORT Anchor Gary Tuchman talking outloud presenting clear relevant historical information. We felt INSPIREDandMOTIVATED everyday!!!

At first his class was confusing since he does not use Canvas. Each week is a new chapter in the book. Since he does not use Canvas everything will be turn in by email (Weekly or end of semester). His class is really easy if you read the syllabus over and over. This class is not for everyone since you will have to keep track of your own work.

The history course structure and homework assignment expectations are thoroughly stated on published Microsoft Word documents, which I noticed other classmates were slacking off and procrastinating until last couple of days approaching due date deadlines. I truly appreciated Prof.Nielson's news broadcasting delivery style and course representation!

He's a good professor in terms of organization, but he doesn't use Canvas, (he has his own website) so it tends to be confusing for students because you can't track your grades through canvas. You have to e-mail him to get your grade and you have to turn in everything by emailing him. He's nice, but there is alot and i mean ALOT of work.

Over 85 writing assignments in this class, very heavy in writing. I would not recommend if you are not passionate about history and dislike writing like me.

This class was insanely easy. I took his summer history course and literally finished it in 20 days. It's so easy to just do a chapter a day by giving 2-3 hours for it. Albeit his grading and submission is really weird, he's a lenient grader and I had no difficulty in this class at all. My high school history was 10x harder than this.

This prof was very unorganized. The class overall was not difficult... everything was done at your own pace. My biggest issue that was very frustrating was that he does not use Canvas AT ALL! Everything for the class was done through his own personal website that he created. The website does not include grades so you cant follow your progress. 5/10

This class is pretty easy, the final was just how he did, only downside is that you have to his website instead of Canvas.
