Wonderful teacher. You will learn A LOT.
Jonathan Rajewski is an extremely knowledgeable professor. He works in the field he teaches in and always has a ton of useful information. I have learned so much from his lectures and examples. He is a very nice guy and extremely approachable. He will answer your questions and find the answer if he cannot. Very highly recommended.
John is an amazing professor, you will NEVER be confused. He utilizes Angel to its fullest extent. Taking one of his courses is a learning opportunity that you shouldn't pass up.He also has an obsession with his pug...be prepared to vote for it in contests :)
Great Professor. You can go to him with any question and if he doesn't know the answer, he will find it for you. He knows his stuff. Very helpful and is the type of teacher that you could go to for anything. Extremely understandable.
Excellent professor. He was very enthusiastic during class and open to questions/support outside of class too.
Great professor. Jon goes the extra mile to make sure you understand content.
Jon Rajewski is a wonderful professor. Very engaging, with a clear understanding of and passion for the subject. Explains things very well, in a manner friendly to techies and non-techies alike. Does tend to go on about his pug, Douglas, a bit, but who can blame him? NOTE: Bears a passing resemblance to Lt. Randy Disher on Monk.
Easily my favorite professor of all time at Champlain College.
Great Teacher. Very understanding. Goes the extra mile to make sure you understand the information being presented.
One of my favorite teachers. Work he assigns can be tricky, but he'll help you through it and only assigns work that will benefit you. Pretty easy class, but days of just lecture/power points can get boring if you have a quiet class. Ask questions and do the reading.
Great teacher. Typically leaves helpful comments on assignments. Assignments are relevant and interesting. Would definitely take another course with him.
Great professor... really knows his stuff. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about the field of computer forensics. Very difficult/time consuming projects and assignments which definitely make work extremely hard to earn an A.
Great Teacher, even better advisor!
He is a great teacher. He really knows what he is talking about and has a lot of interesting stories to keep students interests. His classes are not difficult but they are not too easy.
This is my third class with Jon, and I have enjoyed every one of them. The lectures can get dry at times and the homework can often give you difficulty, but his attitude and friendlessness makes his class totally worthwhile. Also, he really knows his stuff.
Great professor. Knows his stuff and is very helpful. Always happy to meet outside of class and help. Also obsessed with his dog, Doug the Pug
Jon is an awesome teacher and is really passionate about his teaching. The assignments he comes up with are challenging but in the end teacher you a lot about the subject material
I took Cybercrime with Jon. I really enjoyed the class along with the previous classes i have taken with Jon. I highly recommend him as a professor.
This is a great class, i would recommend it for anyone going into the criminal justice field. Not only is the material current but Jon makes it interesting. this course teaches you not only the hows of cyber crime but also the whys, which i would argue is just as important.
Professor Rajewski is the best professor I have had at Champlain College.
Jon is a teacher that you wish you could have for every class. It will certainly be one of the classes that you don?t want to skip! He cares about what we think of the class and makes changes accordingly. He can also be very energetic about certain topics, so I have warned you!
He knows forensics inside and out. I like when he shares stories from his work outside of the college.
hes dope
Rajewski is the man.
Great teacher!
Awesome :)
He is a boss. Great teacher, lots of enthusiasm. Fun class, great to learn from. Definitely worth taking as a professor. A+ for Jon.
Excellent, ecstatic teacher. The class is hard and the assignments are hard, but Jon's teaching makes the class very easy to understand and he is very helpful outside of class.
Absolutely despise this course's topic. But he was a good teacher overall.
rajewsi is an awesome teacher, he relate e couse subjects with real life experiences. he is also very helpfu when you dnt understand a topic and he makes lectues mre enjoyable and easy to follow along with
He is a very knowledgeable man and really good at what he does. Talks a little fast which bothers some people, but a good teacher overall. Some of the assignments are a little tough, but he will help you. Charismatic teacher-you will not be bored and you WILL learn in this class.
Amazing professor. Best at Champlain College.
The most qualified professor at Champlain. He jumps around alot which keeps your attention. This class was difficult but he kept it interesting.
awesome teacher, usually will go out of his way to help a student that is falling behind, this is one of the rare classes at champlain where you will learn something
Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, helpful, and a nice guy.
if you want to learn from an expert, take his class. Just be ready to work hard!
If you are a freshman or a senior, Prof. Rajewski is one of the great professors at Champlain. He is extremely helpful and can guide you through your issues in class. Gives students a chance to have hands-on experience, which is necessary in this field.
Great professor. Gave meaningful and quick feedback on assignments. He did a lot of hands on which really helped me understand the material. I would absolutly take him as a professor again.
Professor is hard but fair, I learned quite a bit from his experience and I appreciate the personalized online lectures, they were very helpful. I look forward to learning from Professor Rajewski in the future.
great class. Lots of hands on. Be ready to work.
I just found this site. We already covered a ton of forensic tools in this class. I cant wait to see what we do for the rest of the semester. Amazing class.
He is a great teacher who has a lot of experience in what he does which allows him to easily teach the subject matter
Amazing professor,!had him for another FOR class as a freshman, and thought he was great for both. Definitely knows his stuff and has so much knowledge to offer. Definitely one of Champlain's best professors.
He's a hard-line guy. Show up, do your work, pay attention, and you'll learn a lot from this class.
One of the smartest individuals teaching a complex course and making it easy for us to understand.
One of the Top 300 Professors in the USA. Nough Said.
Overall a good professor. There's a lot of work in his classes, but that's in comparison to the rest of Champlain College. However, if you do struggle; he is excellent when it comes to helping out students.
Jon is an amazing professor. He inspires mutual respect and will work with any student to help them better them self. He knows more about forensics than most people and has the amazing ability to teach what he knows very effectively, which is a rare talent. I would recommend him for any course, may not be the easiest, but he is the best.
really good teacher
Jon is the best professor here at Champlain College. He expects a lot of of his students but is fair when grading any assignment. If you are a CDF major, take every class with Jon.
Rajewski is a great teacher. Extremely knowledgeable in his field. As for busyness, it all depends on the week. Sometimes he gives a substantial amount of work and other times he doesn't give any. He is a very fair grader
not an easy grader. not reasonable with deadlines.
I really admire Jonathan Rajewski. He is a very amazing teacher and I have learned so much from him and his teachings. I wouldn't want any other teacher to teach these subjects. I look forward to having him as a teacher in the future.
Mr. Rajewski is a great professor who keeps his classes fun and interesting. I have studied Forensics with other professors and found that their teaching style did not impact me as much and I did not remember as much as I did in his class
Jon is amazing at what he does. You will learn everything you need from him. Voted in top 300 profs in America.
Jon is one of the best teachers at this college. He knows all his material, and more importantly he knows how to teach it. He inspires mutual respect and his classes are a great time. He is a brilliant man and if you have a chance to take a course with him do not pass up the opportunity, you will regret it down the road.
The best professor to teach computer and digital forensics classes, and the best at Champlain College. He is very clear and concise and well prepared. He is a role model and I look forward to having him as a future professor.
Lots of hands-on projects/exercises in this class. Some were hard, but very helpful.
He knows what he is teaching. If you want to get the best knowledge in this field, take his class. As this class specifically was new, it was a little unorganized.
i recommend taking classes from this professor. he keeps you engaged in the subject and is very helpful as well. this professor teaches so that everyone in the class can understand the subject.
great help for a relatively hard capstone section
Very helpful through a very difficult class. He is always willing to help, you just have to ask! Also, he is available via email at all hours of the day and you can expect an email back within hours not days! He takes a personal interest in his student's well being and success. Overall, a great teacher and a model for those working in the field.
quality class, alot of learning online. Great malware learning, alot of ediscovery stuff covered.
Very hard class. We did a ton of work on malware analysis. Great professor.
The work is somewhat difficult so expect to work hard. Great professor though!
The course started off good, then got harder as were working a lot with open source tools. Amazing teacher - he really cares about us learning the technical topics.
I learned a lot in this class. I hope to be able to take another class with Professor Rajewski again
Jon is always enthusiastic to teach each class and always knows his stuff. Definitely a go to guy for anything digital forensics related.
The class went back and forth on presentations and hand-on work. It was one of the only class where we were given multiple devices to use for future hand-on projects. Some people feel its too much work, but if you show him you have done enough research, you will be fine. He is the best guy to take forensics classes with.
This class was awesome. We worked a lot with EnCase and a little bit on file systems. Jon covered report writing, registry analysis, and gave us several E01 files to analyze. If you're a digital forensics major you'll love this class. Jon is really helpful and went over everything if you were to miss something on your assignments.
I learned a lot in this class. The final project wasn't just a paper, but more of an investigation into a real hacker. It really challenged me. I'm a professional in the field and figured this class would be a walk in the park - it wasn't.
While I did learn quite a bit from this class I felt that the final assignment was not as fun as I though it would be. Professor Radjewski expects his students to work extremely hard for your grades. Also I found that the communication was not as clear as other classes I've had at Champlain College. Take only one class at a time with this prof.
We have lecture then a hands on activity to help us understand whats really going on. So far this class has been interesting and Im looking forward to cryptology which starts up in a few weeks. There is a TON of work so dont miss a day or you will be behind.
Professor Rajewski is very good at teaching us the nuances of file systems and then how to prove things happend just by looking at data from the MFT and rootdirectory. Very cool class and great professor.
Jon is always great with any course he teaches. Attendance is important and decent part of your grade so it is easy to get great participation.
he missed class three times. very hard grader and expectations are not clear with assignments.
Great class awesome professor - Wish we had more time to work on some of the topics though. I wish we did more on cryptography.
Great teacher, learned a lot. Explained material well and pushed us to go the extra step.
Great professor full of energy. Make sure to always do the reading and attend class. He will teach more than just the slides/reading can show.
Requires work but worth it for the major.
Great professor to learn from, can be somewhat difficult at times, but you learn a lot in the long run, can be a little behind on feedback. Awesome!
He expects quite a bit out of you but is more than willing to help you understand the topics
The best professor when it comes to digital forensics.
he is a pretty cool guy i guess, he does all the forensics and doesn't afraid of anything
Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Always prepared for class and helpful. I highly recommend taking as many classes from him as you can. Deserving of all the Hot Tamales.
We got phones and Ipads to experiment with. Hands on to the extreme. First test was no joke - study.
Very great teacher. Very intriguing and keeps students focused on topic. He is a little slow with grading. One of the best forensic teachers at Champlain College.
Class is tough but Rajewski keeps it real. We use hands on and real world discussions to connect to the technical content to reality. Make sure you read and pay attention to class lecture
Tough course. Rajewski does a great job taking technical file system topics and making it understandable.
Jon had brilliant slides that helped explain everything. The most in-depth and technical course the school has for the major. The quizzes kind of sucked and miss some of the major parts and draw attention to some more minor stuff, but they do cover what is needed. Would recommend the course and professor. Never had a class more worth my time
Professor Rajewski is fantastic at what he does and really helped me learn significantly more about File Systems and their relation to the technical field. He tended to be untimely and strict with grading and feedback which made it hard to improve the work to give him. In general I highly recommend professor Rajewski for this class.
A really enthusiastic teacher with a real passion for Digital Forensics. Definitely knows the material he presents to class without coming off as pretentious.
Very tough course, but Rajewski is great at explaining the concepts and making sure everyone understands the material. Overall awesome professor as long as you put in the effort
Hard Class but worth it in the end.
Rajewski is excellent. Very knowledgeable. If you need help, ask, you will not be disappointed.
Great class so far. Rajewski just assigned us Nexus 7 tablets to put data on it so we can examine android. Great stories and he really cares about our success.
Love this class. It's hard but prof rejewski spends a lot of time explaining the hard topics.
A very helpful teacher who understands the course and allows students to ask many questions. Some of the tests were difficult but he helps you out a lot.
Jonathan Rajewski is passionate about what he is teaching, and really strives for the students to do well. As a professional in the field, it is always neat to hear real experiences during the lectures. The book is needed, and should be read thoroughly, but during class everything is explained deeper. I would strongly recommend Rajewski!
Jon is an amazing professor who makes learning material very fun and interesting. His passion for digital forensics brings great enthusiasm into the classroom, and helps motivate you to do well. He is very helpful and always willing to listen and answer questions. You do have to put in a little effort, but it was well worth it. Loved the class.
Jonathan Rajewski is a well rounded professor that makes his students feel like peers.
Jon is a super smart guy who knows his stuff well. His teaching style is laid back and he is passionate about his subject. Definitely a very reasonable guy and helpful teacher.
We spent a lot of time learning different forensic tools. This was a great class. Can't wait to take another class from him.
Great teacher
Jon is an amazing teacher who pushes his students to their boundaries and makes them work to learn what he is teaching, he tries to inspire passion in his students and makes it fun and engaging to be in class with him .
It's refreshing to have a professor who is this enthusiastic about what he's teaching
Jon is a great professor. The subject may be slightly difficult at times, but overall would take a class from him again without question.
If you can take a class with Rajewski, I would highly recommend it. You WILL learn a lot. Rajewski is respected by students and is passionate about the subject matter. His background in digital forensics makes the learning more enjoyable. Overall, Rajewski can be challenging, but is highly respected by students.
Jon is a great professor. Incredibly personable and a great professor. Thoroughly enjoyed this class. This is the second course I took with him and it was just as great. You have to work in his class, but you will learn a lot and he is always there to help you. He also really takes time connect with his students and help outside of the class.
Amazing class with an amazing teacher!
Rajewski is a very good professor. He constantly asks for feedback from the class to fix any issues you might be having. However, he is kind of hard but it helps make you think and stay organized. Take this professor if you want to learn more about Digital Forensics and want to have fun in class.
Jon is a very good teacher. I enjoyed having him for class as he is very passionate about the field that he teaches about. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about the field and a great resource to have. He is by far the best teacher at Champlain College for Digital Forensics. He does make you work but in return you learn allot.
This is the second class I've had with Jon, and I have to say he's a great teacher. He has a lot of experience in the field and really knows his stuff. He's pretty tough, but you'll definitely learn a lot and it's definitely worth taking him.
Jon's possibly the most helpful, informative, and passionate teacher at Champlain College. He's an industry expert with a wealth of knowledge, and a knack for communicating it. Actually studying and putting effort into homework is essential if you want to pass; the class isn't easy, but while grading can be tough, it's quite fair.
Jon is a great teacher! He has a lot of knowledge in the subject, and brings it to class. He also has a lot stimulating theories and discusses them in class. Make sure to get all your work in on-time and study for his tests. The class is fun and challenging, and I would definitely recommend it.
great guy, decently tough class.
Amazing dude, hands down one of my all time favorite teachers.
You will get a lot out of this course and this professor as long as you put enough effort in. Jon is a great guy and loves to teach this field of study.
Amazing professor. He does numerous hands on projects that gets you ready for the real world fast! His lectures are entertaining and interesting
Jon is probably the most enthusiastic, passionate, and well-respected professors at Champlain College. He is an industry professional who knows basically everything there is to know about the Digital Forensics industry. His entry-level FOR-100 class is a nice blend of hands-on, lecture, and stories that illustrate the importance of the material.
Fun class, learned a bunch, but it was challenging.
Excellent class, but you have to work for the grade!
Great class, make sure you give yourself a lot of time to do the projects instead of waiting to the last minute.
Pretty good
Enthusiastic, great teacher, knows the subject well. Doesn't give a lot of work so make sure you do it or your grade will suffer.
Jon is a great teacher. I had him for Network Forensics and we learned a lot of useful information.
"This class is about being a spy" Jon's very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the subject and he brings some humor to the class as well. It's a lot of information blasted at you and it's challenging at times, but it's explained very well and you learn a LOT. Loved the class.
Great professor who really knows what he is talking about. This class was interesting and engaging. The tests in this class were difficult and you need to work hard to get a good grade. He makes you work for a good grade, but doing well is possible.
Jon is a great professor who is always willing to answer questions and help students. I enjoyed take FOR260 with him however at times the class was a bit confusing and didn't have the best structure. Jon expects a lot from students and expects you to work hard to get a good grade.
Jon is a very smart individual and does a great job at explaining the content however he expects a lot from students both inside the classroom and outside. One thing to consider before taking his class is that his quiz's and test's are usually very tough so you want to make sure that you know everything that he goes over in class.
Great teacher, good class. Very knowledgeable - knows where to get info he doesn't know for his students.
The hands on assignments in his class are great. Getting to look at mobile malware with JEB was really interesting. I'm now more interested in binary analysis and can transfer these skills to CTFs and future jobs. John is great and would recommend to future students.
Dude knows his stuff. Literally a Forensics wizard. Very effective teacher as well, which is super important. When he does lecture, he keeps it interesting. Tons of hands-on work, all relevant unique scenarios that mimic real-life work. No busy work at all. He's not going to hand you an A unless you bust your ass, but it's worth it, seriously.
Great teacher, although his quizzes can be difficult.
Tough class but I learned a lot. do the work and show up.
Jon is a great professor. He always pushes to give you useful hands-on assignments and prepares you well for real world situations. He is hilarious, but also gives work and quizzes that make you think.
Jon's got a lot of real world experience that he brings to class, always has a scenario he's seen that fits our class topics. Not a hard or easy grader, but if you do the work you'll do well. He's also really concerned with people learning the content and is really fair, so don't be afraid to ask for help or question something.
Jon is a very well-respected professor at Champlain, and is excellent at his job. He is a real expert in his field of Digital Forensics, and it is great that he chose to teach, as well as working as a forensic investigator. He is a rather tough professor, though. Projects and quizzes tend to be very in-depth. I highly recommend his classes.
Jon is one of the most amazing professors within Champlain's ITS division. He establishes an immense amount of respect between him and his students. He provides you with TONS of hands-on projects and activities and is always available in his office or through email to help you out when needed. Definitely recommend!!
This class was great. Professor Rajewski has high expectations - show up or you won't pass.
Jon Rajewski is the most charismatic professor at Champlain College. His lectures are interesting and he always throws in some funny jokes. His homework is time consuming and relatively difficult so be sure to leave plenty of time to work on it outside of class. He's a very picky grader too so make sure you proofread and format properly.
He's a fantastic professor that will make you work for your grade, but he's fair and probably one of the most helpful people at this school.
Jon is a great teacher, though he sometimes gets lost when going into certain forensic topics as he really enjoys the field. Giving him an email he most certainly will help you out. Tough grader on homework but he lays out what he wants and if you do that its easy. He sets you up for success, you choose whether you want to or not
Jon is very passionate and knowledgeable about his area of expertise. He can convey knowledge very well, and won't bore. Most of his assignments are hands-on independent projects and require a fair amount of time (more than average) spent outside of class working on it. You'll learn a lot, but you have to put in the effort.
Jon is a well respected professor at Champlain College, and for good reason. The passion and professionalism he shows when teaching computer forensics is great. In class he does an excellent job citing real world examples.
You are doing yourself and injustice if you don't take each and every opportunity to be take a class with Jon Rajewski. He is passionate and knowledgable in the field of Digital Forensics. I wouldn't say he's THAT tough of a grader, but be ready to work hard. Time consuming assignments, that are hands-on and challenging. But, you will learn ALOT!
You'd do yourself a disservice not to take a class with Jon whenever possible. He's a great professor, but will make you work for it. Class has more work than most but you get more out of it than most as well. 100% recommend.
