Best driven SI leader

For such a hard course, this professor makes it so easy and clear. You must do practice problems, if you don't understand. He is always willing to help his students understand the material.

I took him for QMB 3600. As SI leader he was very helpful and made the material of the class very clear. Prof. Sweet is always willing to help his students and he does not have any problem answering questions about the class. I recommend you to do homework, practice the exercises, and do not miss class. One of the best professors at FAU.

Jonathan was the most amazing TA/SI Instructor that I have encountered at FAU. Really helps you learn and understand the material not just by lecturing from the book, but additional examples and visuals that you can personally relate to. I would take any class he teaches, even if I did not need it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Jonathan was a great help for this difficult course. He was extremely thorough when going through the problems and made himself available to assist us outside of the class. He has a great grasp on the subject matter and is truly concerned about how well the students perform in the class.

Professor Sweet was very helpful and super knowledgeable. Without his help there is no way I could have received an A. He is clear, concise and most of all really cares if you succeed and understand the information. If you have an option to take his class, do it. You wont be sorry. Gets a HOT for knowing his stuff.

Jonathan was my TA for QMB and without him I would have not passed the class. His SI sessions literally taught us how to do everything. I DREADED going to class but definitely tried not to miss one of his sessions! He has such a passion for teaching and it was refreshing to be taught by someone who truly cared about us.

I would HIGHLY recommend taking him for QMB. Class is not easy by any means, but I have never had a teacher take as much time to make sure his students understood and were able to get the material. Mr. Sweet is everything you want in a teacher especially on a difficult class like this one.

He made QMB easier. He listened to the students about problems and always gave helpful solutions. He went over the material thoroughly. He always was a pleasure to talk to and never rush you.

Was the TA when I took QMB3600 and ran extremely effective SI sessions. I got a a 64 on the first test, but when I started attending SI sessions I got A's on the other tests. Makes a difficult subject easy to understand and is very personable! Highly recommend this professor to ANYONE!

Jonathan was my TA and SI instructor for QMB. I never would have passed this class if it weren't for his SI sessions. He does a great job explaining the material in ways that make sense. When I didn't understand something he was always able to explain it in a way that made sense. He's a great professor and genuinely cares about his students.

Professor sweet is one of the best i ever had in tau. He mad QMB class a piece of cakes, you just have to do the work and the tests are really easy if you do the test review, hw, and quizzes

This is a GREAT professor for QMB. I tried taking this class twice with other teachers and did horrible, got A- with him. He will let you attend his other classes if you cant make it to class. Very helpful teacher. Take him!!!

good professor, easy class. Prof. sometimes doesn't teach the problem, simply shows you how to reach the solution. In return, students get good grades, but what did they really learn? Remember, education is what YOU make of it.

Good Professor. Not super easy class but he tries to make it as easy as possible. Test are done online in class. Attendance not mandatory. Pay attention in class and read the text and you will do fine. NO group projects or papers. Just at home quizzes and test in class.

Do not look for anyone else to take QMB with. He is the best!!! Do not buy the book. He clearly and slowly goes over the power points and examples. He prepares you for the test 100%. online quizzes are extra credit. the only professor that Uses online graphing tools which allow you to do the work a lot faster. mandatory to bring a laptop to class.

Professor Sweet is an extraordinary instructor, he is always very enthusiastic, encouraging, and supportive. I emailed him questions, visited his office during office hours, and requested help after class, he was always available and willing to help.

If you're going to take QMB, you take it with Sweet. By far the best professor I've had, and I'm a returning double bachelor. Come to class, pay attention, follow along with his reviews, and you'll get an A. He makes everything incredibly easy and explains things until you understand. Excellent professor.

He gives really good lectures and his slides are the test. The final exam is what screwed me since its 30% of our grade and its culm dept exam. He has discussion every week & a quizzes he has 3 exams which are proctored not crazy hard if you review his slides and videos are a MUST he videos are short and explains them well. He is so nice! take him

I am an online student and took Prof Sweet Man class. Test and quizzes were easy, the only thing that messed me up was the final exam which was departmental and was very hard from his normal test. Was looking for a A but got a A- instead. Great Professor take him. Discussion boards help as well with your final grade.

As long as you watch his youtube video tutorials and understand Excel, you'll do fine. 3 quizzes, 4 exams. All exams are proctored but they are open book and open notes. He makes it very difficult to fail. Very happy I took him my last semester because I couldn't have asked for an easier online class.

He is extremely helpful! We had very clear homework assignments, tests, and a project. The project was the best part, I have never enjoyed doing a project for any other professor at FAU except for this class. Please take him, you will learn a lot and have fun while doing so. Anyone that thinks this class was hard or boring, you are out of your minds. By far one of the best professors I have ever had especially for a class that is portrayed as being really hard. Is that class suppose to be fair with a curve? NO. Everything is on you to understand and how much time and effort you put into it. From your favorite students!

Professor Sweet was great. I truly enjoyed the class. He really loves teaching and cares about his students. We are in college youre supposed to take test, not get Extra Credit and Homework so I dont know why anyone would complain about him. Its a tough subject but if you study (which he gives you plenty of study material) you will pass period

He will help you with anything you need in the class. And he has extra credit chances about every two weeks or so.

He is really one of the nicest professors. His ISM 2000 live lecture class is a breeze as long as you pay attention to when everything is due and don't try to cheat on the online tests. All of hist tests are open book and open note. The projects are long but he gives you a step by stem and does it in the love lecture for you to follow.

I took his lecture capture ism class and it was an easy A. He's a hilarious guy and really makes 3 hours lectures bearable, although you don't have to watch any of em to pass.

I took the fast track course, it was a lot of material in a short time but thats expected. The cumulative final was a bit unnecessary it should be used as an optional exam if you want to replace a previous exam grade. Overall, he's a nice guy but is a stickler for following certain guidelines. Class is super easy as long as you study all the PPTs

I am currently taking Professor Sweet for QMB for Summer II. He is one of the most caring and attentive professors I have ever had at FAU. The exams are based off of his powerpoints and example problems. He works hard to give the class everything they could possibly need to pass. Take QMB with Sweet and save yourself the headache.

Prof. Sweet makes QMB bearable. He is clear and makes sure that everyone understands the concepts before moving on. You are allowed a note card and text book for the tests and if you actually do the extra credit quizzes you are sure to pass the tests. This was my 2nd time taking QMB and I wish I had known about prof. Sweet the first time around.

Professor Sweet is one of the best professors I've taken at FAU. If you need to take QMB I would highly suggest taking him. There's 6 extra credit quizzes. He's always willing to help and explain things more. Super patient. Gives a lot of good tips and tricks for QMB. Took his summer class and would 100% recommend him.

The tests are easy as long as you really study the powerpoints. He likes people going to class but it was honestly pointless because he just went over powerpoint slides that I would have read on my own anyway and he doesn't take attendance. Overall easy class but it's not very interesting

Professor Sweet is phenomenal! This class was super easy. He provides a specific outline on what you need to do to pass. The tests are open book and the professor assists you through almost every assignment and classwork that he provides. You can tell he cares about the class even when it's 300 plus students. I recommend taking his class.

Absolutely loved this class! The material is somewhat boring for anyone who has experience with Excel and the lecture portion of the class can be kinda dry but professor Sweet somehow made it bearable. Tests are proctored but you can use the powerpoints so easy A's. Don't fall behind on your lab hw, it'll be a lot to do. Overall, take him for ISM!!

You didn't have to watch the lectures to know how to take the tests. There was a study guide for each test which you can use while you take the test in another tab. The labs were easy too if you paid attention and followed the directions.

Really simple course. No need to study for the test, just use the powerpoints he posts. HW consisted of practice tests which basically gave you the answers. For the guided projects just follow along with the instructions and your golden.

Easiest class Ive taken. Optional cumulative replacement exam is given at the end. If you do good on every exam or dont miss one like me you dont have to take the final. One of the best professors at FAU. I was hesitant about taking a lecture capture class, however, I'm so glad I did! So easy. three exams and final--which was optional if you needed to replace a test or forgot to do a test since they're done online. The lab projects and quizzes he does them with us in class. Take!!! consists of 3 exams and a final. Do not rent the book. You are allowed to write in your book and use during tests. Guaranteed A if you do that. Mr. Sweet's class was probably the easiest class I've ever taken. The entire class is just a few excel projects and lessons(which you get instructions for), and the other part are lecture exams. The exams are honor lock, but they're an open note and open book, so you don't have to study. Attendance isn't mandatory because it's a lecture capture

I love DR. Sweet, he is amazing and cares for us the student so much. I also know he works heavily with a group called MISA. Very likable and make sure us the students learns the most possible to better our professional career. I appericate ya DOC.

This is the best professor I've ever taken in my 4 years of college so far and the best teacher in all my years of schooling. He makes sure he gives you all the information, very user-friendly, and even supplies you with ways to know what your final grade could be depending on how you're currently doing in the class. I'd take him for any class.

Whether its ISM, QMB or MAN. TAKE PROF. SWEET. Great down to earth guy. Makes the material and discussions engaging. He goes over the material but tells you the concepts to study. Take the quiz all 3 times, the questions will help with the tests. The test questions are similar/identical to the final. I wish he taught more classes. Take him!!!!!!!!!

Professor Sweet is indeed VERY sweet. Lectures are long but he explains everything in depth. He provides you with so many resources and is easily accessible outside of class. He's upbeat and displays a passion for his teaching. I could go on and on, but honestly listen to my advice, stop reading, and take him already!

Dr. Sweet is truly a nice person and a really great teacher. He breaks the concepts down to make it understandable and makes you well prepared for the tests. He even gives tutorial videos outside of the lecture on specific concepts. He sets everyone to succeed as long as you put in work and makes it as easy as possible for this class.

Professor Sweet is a great professor. The class consisted of 3 exams and 1 optional cumulative replacement exam. All the exams were open notes but monitored with proctorio. The labs were very easy and he went over the material. I highly recommend taking his class. The only way to fail is not doing anything so its impossible to not pass this class.

We have to use Honors Lock; however, it's open book & notes. Class is not hard if u have prior knowledge of MS Excel. The class was Live Capture so was able to review lectures (& during the pandemic btw), he has plenty of extra credit opportunity and just overall chances for u to pass the class w/ a high grade as long as u do ur work on time.

If you want an easy A class this is the class to take! The class was online and attendance was not required. Open note exams with a search feature on the power points to literally search the topic. He also drops your lowest exam grade. Other grades were based on excel spreadsheets with 3 tries each question. Definitely take this professor!!!!

Very nice and laid back professor. Majority of the course work is done through the lab. Super easy, he explains the steps with you. Tests are open book but proctored so be sure to study by reading the textbook in advance. He gives lots of opportunities to raise your grade through Extra Credit. Other than that, pretty easy course I RECOMMEND!!

This is a great professor who cares about their students. Weekly lectures every Monday. You have projects due that are explained in the lectures. Exams are proctored but they are open note and the book is pretty easy to navigate. Fun and easy class.

Professor Sweet as his name suggest is sweet. He loves teaching about computers and Microsoft Office. Almost all work is done together as a class, so the class is easy.

His personality is so nice. Very understanding and doesn't give much work. It's really an easy A. Exams are proctored but you can use the PowerPoints and your notes. You learn a lot but do little work.

If you do the work in this class which isn't hard at all just a bit time consuming there's no reason to fail the class unless you don't buy the book. I only watched two classes online but stopped watching and ended up with a B+

ISM2000 is a very fundamental part of a business major's college education. Sweet is a great teacher to easy students into using excel and canvas. Had a great experience in his class

Professor Sweet made this class so simple and easy to take. I would 1000% take him again. Exams are recorded but are open notes and book and are very easy to pass if you take notes. Prof Sweet was an incredible professor to take for ISM 2000. He knows so much about the topic. Everything was online, and it was self paced, with 5 projects/lessons/exams on SIMNet, and those were all self explanatory too. If you needed help, his office hours really were a beneficial resource. I would take the class again in a heartbeat.

I took his online ISM course and it was relatively easy, it can be a lot of work if you leave everything up until last minute so don't procrastinate. Lecture exams were stressful but its open note.

Professor Sweet is phenomenal! QMB could be a tough course, but he helps students' power through it (the first exam is the hardest so don't get discouraged). He offers many ways to improve your grade at the end of the semester and truly cares about you as a person. He teaches very well and makes sure students understand the lesson.

All work is easy and the lectures are informative, he goes through the exams and does questions if you pay attention. Work for the whole semester is laid out in the first week and you can work ahead if you want. A weeks worth of work is able to be completed in 2 hours ish. There is plenty of time in between assignments.

His name is Professor Sweet for a reason :) Such a nice teacher, he goes through the exams and projects step by step. You are guaranteed to get an A in his class, if you don't that's a reflection of your lack of effort. He is very clear and genuinely wants everyone to pass his class and enjoy using excel.

He talks a lot during lectures but it all makes sense and will help you towards exams. the SIMnet projects are super simple as the professor does it with the class in his recorded lectures. Multiple attempts on projects and test. very easy to follow class, didn't need to contact the professor once.

Professor Sweet is the best! So caring & fun & you can tell he loves what he does. Many opportunities for extra credit & TA's were very responsive. Unfortunately, I did not score well on the three exams throughout the course despite it being open note as the slideshows were really long, but you're practically guaranteed to pass if you take him!

Such an easy class. He goes step by step on how to do the excel assignments. Lecture exams are open book. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Gives ample of time to submit your work, basically the whole semester. Def suggest his class and you get a badge at the end to add to your resume.

Textbook not needed. The most tedious thing to do in this class is the projects but you get multiple chances and it gives you feedback on what you did wrong. 3 LECTURE EXAMS are worth 49% of grade. The are online. Gives you a choice to take a makeup exam if you got a bad grade on one.

Nicest guy ever, tries his best to make the optional weekly lectures funny! Really easy class, easy A. If you for some reason can't get an A, there is so much extra credit available. Really enjoyed his class, 10/10!

He had live lectures saved that you can go back and watch and is very helpful with any questions you had. Everything was straightforward and overall a pretty easy class. Definitely take him!

Very great professor. Walks you through all the tests and answers any questions you have in class. He even sends all his students emails of job and internship opportunities.

(Disclaimer: I'm taking him for QMB, but I had him for ISM as well) Probably FAU's best teacher. I prefer him in person because I am more engaged in the class but online was good too. He is not boring at all, he is fantastic at explaining concepts, and he is extremely understanding. There's a (good) reason his classes are always full and he's 5/5.
