Incredible lecturer, but VERY hard and a little too much symbolism.
He is very willing to help his students, and trust me you'll need it!!!!!
Has a condescending tone and there is way too much discussion in religion
Amazingly intelligent, but expects too much and moves too quickly.
can anyone say ARROGANT --

challenging and helpful to those willing to learn

VERY intense lecturer, yet extremely infromative and interesting

brilliant but dwells on irrelevant things and leaves you not knowing anything
he's more interested in himself than helping students
Intelligent but very arrogant and cold, expects too much from students
I d id well but I still think he's arrogant.
i think he carries a thesaurus in his pocket
He reads his essays, he doesn't lecture.
he's very clear, intelligent and makes you laugh. a tad harsh at times though.
Incredibly intelligent, his lectures are almost lyrical. Great sense of humour.
Likes the sound of his own voice; bright & interesting but expects way to much!
Energetic. He talks at length, but will not bore you.
Can't eat in class?! Who's the one paying $5000 bucks here

Great lectures! Very energetic professor. His lectures were phenomenal, and very informative.
He is horrible! Lectures and tutorials he speaks in a condescending manner and can be monotone. He's very high on himself and likes to hear regurtitations of what he's told you. Has a tendency to favourtise.

He is a great prof! I really enjoyed his lectures and I found him very intellectual. He definately knows his material, and he allows room for you to explore and think critically about the texts. He also give you a lot of time to do the material.
Way too self involved...needs to get over himself
Don't like him
He is a fantastic teacher- He explains things very clearly and energetically, and is always ready to add in an offhand joke or two. In tutorial he leads great discussions. He gives effective help during office hours.
his lectures are great, very ANIMATED and ENGAGING! Yet, he is a little self absorbed and a little too sex obsessed
Not a good prof at all. He expects you to understand everything he says right away.
I don't like the way he teaches. You feel a lot of negative pressure from him to understand everything he teaches.
He's unsympathetic, cold, condescending and high on himself.
Very demanding, and resembles some of the comic book villains you'll deal with, but overall, he's brilliant. Is a stickler for grades, but doesn't mark very hard. Not much of a sense of humour unless you're a TA...definitely has favourites.
Just amazing. Brilliant, challenging, dynamic and engaging. It doesn't get better than Jonathan Warren.
I dropped the class because of him.
A great Prof, very animated and fun. His tutorials are especially helpful. Rock on Warre, rock on.
He is the one professor I've had whom I would uniformly warn people against. Condescending, self-congratulatory, quick to wield his limited power. If you are looking to learn from brilliance, look elsewhere.
A very discouraging professor. He doesn't seem to realize that we ARE there to learn and therefore can't understand every single thing he says, which he expects.
Warren sucks. I can't believe the university would hire such a person to teach others. Very rude professor.
I don't like his class and his teaching style. He makes things hard on the students. I also rated the hot or not, and chose NOT. Let me just say, he's no JFK Jr.
Incredibly organized and considerate prof. Takes his students seriously and was always ready to talk about my questions. Very enthusiastic!
Explains things very lucidly and energetically. If you need help, he's there to provide it. As a TA, he encourages discussion and understanding of the lecture's material. Lots of ppl say the opposite- love him or hate him.

Rediculously clear. His close readings are awesome, though he comes off as a little intense. Never a joke. If you seriously love lit, take his course.

I agree that you either love him or hate him. Personally I believe he's one of the few professors at York who are still in love with what they do. He has passion and his enjoyment in the course as he lectures just exudes off of him. innovative, brilliant!
He is interesting to listen to, but definitly difficult!!!
One of the very best lecturers I've had in my four years at York.
uses a 'socratic method', which means that he'll make you work at resolving an issue, rather than lead you by the hand. definitely shows more patience and enthusiasm with those students who show it TO him first. doesn't seem to like giving out A+ marks.
I found Prof. Warren incredibly belittling and pompous. He was everything that would hinder learning in the average human being. Avoid him at all costs.
The worst professor. I don't even know where to begin.
Two of the best courses at York. Not only about comics, but a survey of art theory. If you attend his lectures you'll do well.Lectures are clear, insightful, and entertaining.Getting an A+ is possible, and likely if you immerse yourself in the subject area.
His class was one of the best that I took at York and it was also the worst mark that I received during my university career, but I loved every minute of it!!
Sucks! Don't take any of his courses. He has the tendency to make you feel stupid, purposely. If you're on his sh*t-list, forget about it. Only problem is, how is one supposed to know if they will be on that list or not? Therefore, just don't bother taking his courses.
I still don't understand half the things I learned in that class. But I learned a lot. Crazy metaphysical dialectic in each class. It's impressed upon me a unique way of teaching. So stressful getting that last assingment done. Pauline, Freudian, Saussurian, craziness...

If you can manage to have him for lectures and a T.A for tutorial, you will have an excellent year. Good survay course of the subject and of American history. He is very intelligent and amusing in lecture, but intimidating and a little unapproachable... knows how smart he is, which is annoying.
Excellent Lecturer! his lectures are for the most part entertaining, i think i only fell asleep once. The course material is quite interesting as well, although i think sometimes he reads too much into the comics.
A great professor! Lectures are always detailed with insightful information. He makes you view comics in a totally different perspective. I only wish his class was a full year rather then half.
Has some interesting moments, but it's annoying how he uses at least seven adjectives in every sentence.
Amazing in lectures but horrible as a TA. This guy can't make up his mind what he wants. You write something in your midterm and he loves it. You write it in your final exam and he hates it. He is extremetly hard and a bit of a jerk. Take his lecture but make sure you don't get him as your TA.
Great prof! Made material come alive. Always lively in tutorials. Totally approachable and helpful. Fair grader (I never got so many detailed comments on my writing before).
Professor Warren will help you grow as a student. If you are fortunate enough to get him as a T.A. he will blow your mind with close readings of fiction and poetry. If you take any interest in self-improvement, and you're willing to put in the effort, Warren is incredible. (he's also extremely funny sometimes)
Good and entertaining prof, but you need to participate a lot or he'll majorly doc marks.
the best prof I had this year!
This guy is a genius!! The only problem is he expects you to be one too. His lectures and tutorials are mezmorizing, definitely by far the most interesting class I've ever taken. But like the previous comment states, avoid his tutorial at all costs because he is an insanely hard marker. he expects you to come up with mind blowing material.
Real nice, energetic and funny. Makes you want to come to class and pay attention. Clear, detailed and always genuinely happy. As far from a hardass as you're going to get.
Renowned in the English department for his ability to make students cry. I kid you not. An obviously bright man with a chip on his shoulder. Probably because Harvard never called back.
He went to Yale! Someone, please give this man a round of applause. That's right, Yale!
He is undeniably intelligent and knowledgeable. However, his attitude was condescending and his comments were belittling and malicious. He has no problems with humiliating students in front of the class.
Brilliant man. He made the class interesting and engaging and he is a wonderful orator. So what if his expectations are high? This isn't pre-school. I would recommend anyone to take his classes, as his energy and passion fills you with the same.
His lectures made the course. I wish the lecture was 2 hours and the tutorial 1 hour instead of 1 hour with a 2 hour tutorial. I have the WORST TA EVER and would enjoy the course a lot more if I had to spend less time with her and more time listening to his lectures because they are awesome!
While a smart man, his lectures were surprisingly dull. I found him to be too aloof for his own good and generally unapproachable. The fact that the course material was interesting was his one saving grace. Take the class for the material, not for him.
His disdain for York leaves you wondering. Yes, his expectations are high. But teach! Some people actually want to learn, but can't get past his obvious condescension.
His lectures are always entertianing and insighful-he's one of the best profs ive had...really engaging
Despite his enthusiasm, he fails to create highs and lows when lecturing. Everything he says is said with passion and spunk. Don't get me wrong, some people like that, but I do believe that is the definition of being monotonous.
A hate him or love him type, Warren is very quick, intelligent and witty but also can be cruel and unapproachable. Think very carefully and thoroughly before you voice your thoughts and you will be rewarded with his respect. Lectures are a blast.
Hes a tough teacher. His vocab is too extensive which makes it hard to understand his point. I had him as a TA aswell: he will pick on u if u dont contribute so come prepared & he notices attendance so let him know if u arent coming or wtvr. Hes a very hard marker, not helpful in that he'll explain it the way he did in class. Nice guy, bad teacher.
His use of more than just the lecture screen is interesting and entertaining. This is class is worth taking if you are into comics. If comics aren't your thing, the class comes off as a bit boring. His lectures a pretty clear, and easy to understand. The exams are on the tougher side, but his essay assignments is fair and straight forward.
completely unapproachable and doesn't give the help needed outside of class
He is completely in his own world when he lectures. He is talking AT you, not to you. Simply reads off a prepared script, not much entertainment. He is snobby and thinks highly of himself. Would not recommend if you are looking for an enjoyable class. In terms of an elective, the material is easy.
I don't know why everyone is complaining, Prof Warren was great. Funny, intelligent, charismatic, and interesting. His lectures do have a TON of information and its a bit hard to keep up sometimes, but as long as you pay close attention and are analytical about the material instead of thinking "LOL, COMICS", you'll do well.
Sure, Prof Warren's lectures are dense and the reading list is massive but if you want to take an English class with a SUPERB lecturer, his is it. He has very well-rounded knowledge of his topic and the material is engaging. Don't take his classes unless you're prepared to work and have an interest in the readings. If you are, you will enjoy it.
He is a very good lecturer. The course is interesting. There is a lot of readings, but I was fascinated with his lectures. I'm a business major and this was my first english class, I thought it was great. Do all the readings, go to class and go to tutorials, and you will get a good grade.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS-He seems nice and polite but his essays are BRUTAL along with his exams he takes everything too seriously and loves himself to death! He is so mono tone it puts you to sleep and he uses 20 readings for one week when the first 3 explain the period perfectly and all years readings-OVER 100 peices-are on the exam he minimizes nothin
Has been my professor for a couple of courses. Flips between friendly and rude, approachable and unapproachable. Office hour is a waste. He uses 1 office hour for all his courses combined. Challenges his students to do quality work, but does do over kill at times. A 2nd year, half course with a 12 page syllabus??
He's a great lecturer. A bit unapproachable. Office hours, a waste. rely on your text book for "hints" on the exam. His slides are key for the quotations portion of his exam. he is fair overall, just be genuine when speaking with him.
I took Comics I and II. They were some of the best classes I've ever taken in my educational career. His classes are extremely interesting and well prepared. Tutorials with him were extremely engaging. His ability to weave subjects together in his lectures makes them both interesting and relevant.
comics and cartoons II: His lectures are really fast paced. It's interesting material but he simply reads off of his lecture notes. There was not one question asked all semester b/c even if someone DID raise their hand he wouldn't have seen it b/c he was too busy reading off of his notes. He knows his stuff and has some interesting ideas
Completely unnaproachable. The year starts off fun and then he flips, insane amounts of work is given and the essays are difficult. The exams are far worse, VERY demanding with insane details that all but 2 in my tutorial failed it. Very intense readings. The most I've had in my 5 years at two universities. Would NEVER take anything with him again
His lectures are fast paced, clear and easy to understand. He even posts his notes and records everything he says as a podcast, so if you miss a lecture it's usually not the end of the world. Thing is you'll want to go to his lectures. He doesn't spoon feed you like most profs with exam information, so make sure you go to class, tutorials and read!
whats with all the negatives. He's eccentric but thats awesome. He's incredibly passionate about what he teaches, his lectures are funny, informative and awesome. He treats his students like mature individuals and always gives them the time of day. One of the best profs ever
One of the best lecturers at York. Does not expect you to simply regurgitate info. Extremely intelligent and passionate about what he teaches. There is nothing he asks of you that he doesn't touch on before. He is, in fact, quite approachable.
Great class. Interesting prof. He puts his lectures on podcast so attendance isn't mandatory, but his exam questions are based on mostly on lecture material so you have to be dedicated to going or listening. Saw him a few times during office hours & he was good about helping me figure out essay topics & guided me towards some great secondary source
LOVED HIM! My favourite prof so far! I would take a million more classes taught by him if i had the chance!
Amazing prof!of all the lecturers I have had in my 3 years at York, he is the most dynamic and creative. His powerpoints contain a lot of visuals that help create the picture he is going for. When he lectures, he transports students to the setting of the text. His slides don't have that many words and what he actually says is a lot more interesting

Great lecturer, very smart and interesting. Very approachable, polite and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend taking his class!
Professor Warren seems like a great professor at first, but if you talk to him in person you quickly realize he is very condescending and quite rude. His marking is absolutely ridiculous, I have never received such horrible marks in my University career. And this was only a comics and cartoons class :\ I would not suggest taking his class!
He fires information at you. Doesn't have a linear lecturing style, kind of says a point, says another, then loops back to the first one and restates it in a different way. Make note-taking annoying. He would be interesting to listen to if you weren't goint to be tested on the material.
By far the best professor I've had at York University. His lectures are so interesting and engaging. He is extremely helpful outside of class and proposes ideas that you would never even think of. I would take any class with him
Jonathan also ran my tutorial and did an excellent job. His feedback on essays was very helpful and made dull texts very entertaining. Incredibly passionate. In addition, attendance wasn't mandatory as he records the lectures.
He is very charismatic and seems like a very likable person. His lectures were very enthusiastic but overall the course has way too many dull readings and it was very difficult to get a good grade. Would not take again.
American Lit: Warren has clearly made an immense effort in putting his lectures together, he's clear, concise but don't fall behind on the readings. This survey course consists of the most readings week that I've ever had to do and he uses the full 2 hours to lecture. He's very helpful and gives us a lot of freedom for our essay topics.
Warren tries his best to make his lectures fun and enthusiastic and while he's PERFORMING his fast paced lecture that seem to never end, the class is miserable. There is no break at all he uses all the time he has. He lectures very very quickly and it is very hard to take notes.
Lectures were engaging and he is very passionate! Tutorials were interesting and quite open for discussion. Outside of class he is extremely approachable and helpful. His grading is pretty tough, but his commentary helps a lot with future essays. If you do the readings, pay attention, and edit those essays to perfection, you will do well!
Amazing. one of the most inspirational and best profs at york
Jonathan is brilliant and makes very creative connections. But his exams are EXTREMELY difficult and you will need to memorize a lot from the readings. The readings can get quite boring but there are a few good ones. Take the course if you can stand long lectures with no breaks and are good at memorizing.
Most readings I've ever had to do. Tough grader. Tough tests. Hard to keep up with readings and lecture material. Visuals are nice on powerpoints but it's also nice to have key concepts which he does not include. Can be rude to students. Wouldn't take anything with him again.
Readings are an absolute killer, especially come exam time; there's too many authors and titles required to have memorized. Exams are tough as well. Lectures are long and although he has nice stamina and cracks a few jokes here and there, it becomes hard to follow for so long. And he can be blunt and rude to students at times.
Very arrogant ands rude.
I gained very few knowledge from the instructor and regretted taking the course.
Very rude to students. Not approachable at all.
I took Comics & Cartoons because I wanted an easy summer elective that was going to be online. Well taking this course was the worst start to my summer. Avoid this class at all costs. If you are that interested in this course, take it with another prof. Although knowledgeable, this prof is boring, a hard marker, and the class itself it unclear.
I would like to raise the point that Comics and Cartoons syllabus needs to be revised. It is stated on the syllabus if you complete discussion posts and replies each week you will receive 50% of the course total in which I have received 10/10. You do not get grades/feedback but doing them all also doesn't guarantee you marks... how is that FAIR
Best thing about this class was I caught up on sleep during the boring lectures. Warren has a very abstract thought process and makes connections out of left field. The midterm is tough and multiple choice questions are worth 5 marks each so if you get one wrong you lose 5 marks!
Most organized online class I've ever had at York. The key to doing well in his class is listen to his lectures, which are long but packed with vital information, and read the textbook. He won't go over the textbook in class only the comic readings, but you must read the accompanying textbook as that is where many of the test questions come from.
He's clear and concise and seems like he's super passionate about what he's teaching, but his lectures are incredibly boring; you can be interested in the first half hour, but it's pretty easy to lose focus; his rude nature towards students is a major put down; tests are hard af because they rely so much on memorization; wouldn't take him again
I would never take a course with him again. I found him condescending and disrespectful toward his students.
Interesting material but a very unpleasant prof. Rude and arrogant when you approach him and doesn't seem to want to help students at all. If you take this course take it with another prof. I would never take a course with this prof again.
York University ought to put him on unsuitable list of instructors so that students will know what to expect.
Wow this was absolutely the worst class Ive ever taken in my life! Its just a second year English course and he teaches like its some Masters or PhD course It was so difficult Im so glad I dropped it out and I feel so much relief! Absolute waste of money and time, no exaggerations do not take this course at any cost! Its a guaranteed failure!
I joined this class thinking it would be a fun and easy online course since I am into comics and needed an elective. Worst decision ever. It's a 2nd year ONLINE course and I felt like I was in an English masters class. Gave me a 40% on my essay just because I summarized too much instead of analyzing. Like c'mon man that's not worth failing an essay
I dont really know what to say about this professor. He likes to make connections out of left field and very much expects you to do the same, so long as theyre not different from his way of thinking. Really does not know how to teach or to lecture.
He's is a very tough grader and expects the most. This is a 2000 level class but is not treated as one. I highly recommend you change profs if you can
Extremely arrogant when approached. He picks and chooses emails to respond to, and gets defensive when asked questions. Overall he seemed like an incredibly rude person! Did not learn much from his class at all. Super disappointed.
He is the hardest professor at York University in the English department and is an extremely hard grader. If you don't read the material you will not know what is going on in class. He expects more from you than he teaches, his lectures are long and he does not follow PowerPoints so it's easy to get confused. He teaches this course as a 4000 course
He is very hard to get into contact with. Unclear grading for tutorial forum posts, next to no feedback on any work in the class. Lectures are basically really long podcasts. would not recommend taking this class with him
He's quite arrogant and is a tough marker, barely gives feedback and won't go into specific grades for forum posts, even if he's your TA. You can't fake your way through this, he knows the content too well and will call you out on it. However, if you do the work and put in the effort of reading and responding properly, you'll get a decent mark.
The lectures are audio only and doesn't follow the slides provided, which makes it really hard to follow and understand. I haven't even finished this course and I want to drop it
Straight up incredible teacher. If you are interested in American literature/culture take his class because you will learn so much! His lectures are detailed and comprehensive, and if you actually listen to them and put thought into your responses you will get a TON out of this course.
super tough marker. no useful feedback. Super mean + intimidating. His online lectures are audio-only and slides are useless. the class is super dry eventho I love the subject, he made it hard to listen to. He's also super strict. didn't give 2 days extension even tho i have accommodations and asked 10 days prior to the due date. too many readings
One of the worst online learning experiences I've had, perhaps he is better in person but I can only vouch for my own experiences. Lectures are long, confusing, and difficult to follow. Not accessible for all learning types/environments. Understanding professor and seems like a good guy, but his online teaching style is not my cup of tea.
I don't even know where to begin with this man. I genuinely think this man tries as hard as he can to make his students fail. If you send him an email, he won't answer. If you have covid and want an extension, he won't grant you one. He doesn't give constructive criticism he just disses you. Absolute wasteyute if you ask me
If you want to cry yourself asleep every night take his class.
This professor teaches this course like a fourth-year course. If he disagrees with your points throughout any discussion, he will be disrespectful and makes you feel so dumb and clueless. I understand he's clearly passionate about what he teaches, but there are better ways to approach those ideas that you might not agree with, Prof! Avoid!
I've never written a bad review about a prof but I feel obligated to do so regarding Professor Warren. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. I repeat, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. I'm a fourth year student, and this was by far the most unnecessarily difficult course I've taken (and it's a second year course!) He seems to go out of his way to make his students suffer!
Took this class online during the pandemic, I've never felt the need to rate a professor but he was awful. The workload was too much and he was not lenient or understanding in any way possible. ended up failing the class due to the fact that I missed a couple discussion posts, mind you I'm a B student so this grade is not a reflection of me.
This is coming from a A/B+ EN major, in third year. Instructor is the second worst I've had at York. Doesn't respond to emails. As for the course, quantity over quality. Course is structured for you to try to memorize every last passage, where as the other EN courses I've taken prioritize the analysis of themes and concepts learned.
Prior to taking his course last sem, I checked to see what his ratings were like. I should have been scared off by the bad reviews but I decided to keep the course since everything else was full. I'm so glad I didn't. He's a great prof. Really makes you think outside the box and is a fair marker. Gives elaborate feedback, just don't slack.
I can see why students dont like him. Professor Warren does not hold your hand. He provides you all the information and students must critically analyze his lectures to arrive at a point. Just convince him with evidence and you will do fine. The multiple choice tests are killer. 8 possible answers for one question. Come on dawg!
For someone who teaches comics and cartoons he takes himself way too seriously. He takes all the fun out of this subject. I heard great things about the class before I took it but it turns out it was another prof. This prof seems to want to make you hate the subject as much as possible. If you like comics avoid this prof.
The online and condensed version of Comics and Cartoons was pretty miserable. The lectures were recorded audio only and the powerpoints were so long and hard to follow along because you had no idea where it was. Prof just talks on and on and honestly the material seems like a stretch at best sometimes.
Probably the worst way I've seen to run an online course. Lectures are audio files with associated PowerPoints. At no point is it indicated which slide he's on because they're all just pre-recorded from lecture halls with some extra bits edited in. This means that you cannot ask any questions. A shame, since the material COULD have been interesting
This is a comic course. It should be fun but it isn't. Prof used old recordings and was over an hour to 2 hours long. It is impossible to follow the PowerPoint while he is talking. The tutorial with another TA was great, I can't imagine being in Prof Warrens's group though.
Like other ratings state, Warren uses old lectures that are 1-2 hours long & is not at all understanding of the ongoing pandemic and any related stress. He doesn't hold your hand, but he doesn't even try to check in on or support his students. I am an enthusiastic EN major with a B+ GPA, but any enjoyment of this class is lost with this lazy prof.
nearly ruined my lifelong appreciation for comics and cartoons singlehandedly. i would have loved to take comics 2 but this was so excruciating that i'd never want to endure that again.
As a mature student, I have attended many post-secondary institutions and by far the best professor that I have ever had is Professor Warren. He is not only brilliant, but passionate, engaging and approachable. He hails from America and teaches about American literature and I don't think there is anyone better qualified to do so.
Professor Warren was great! He expects a lot from you but if you put in the work you will get a good grade. He is very knowledgable and passionate about what he teaches which is refreshing. People don't give him enough credit for being a good prof, if you watch his lectures and do the readings you will succeed in this course!
First of all, he makes the course so hard with 2 hour long recorded boring lectures and multiple choice questions worth 5 marks each on exams! Second of all, he speaks rudely when you ask him for clarification during office hours! Third of all, he is against students having a group chat! He joins group chats and rats you out in an email!
Lol to the previous review about being ratted out in an email. Haha
The lectures are long audio files. No video and it is extremely hard to remain engaged in.
I do not find this course to be effectively taught online. His lectures are structured with minimal points on the slides with long dragged-out voice recordings to be synced up. I find that he could get to the point whereas he drags out a lot of the topics with rhetorical questions. Would not take a course taught by him again.
The way his lectures are structured is very hard to follow. Very little content to the slides while he talks with theoreticals in a speech-like tone, almost like storytelling. He very well could be more concise and to the point, while also making readings hard to access through online platforms. Would not take a class taught by him again.
J. Warren bombards you with too many required readings (at least 3-4 per week, all essays and novels), which makes his lectures (PPs) difficult to follow. Participation is ESSENTIAL to each week, so do not skip a single in-person lecture. His exam "reviews" have NO substance, and he doesn't take responsibility for students' bad performance.
Do NOT take this course if you want to keep your love for comics. Ruined any joy I had for comics. He spends too long on one topic, and you never know what's important. No words on his slides and just talked on and on to fill the time frame of the class. Had him for 2 classes, and both were awful. Never again
Avoid at all costs. Very hard-to-follow lectures, difficult marker, memorization heavy course rather than theory. Lectures feel like a repetitive script. If you have trouble with lectures that drag on and don't invite participation or questions, do not take this professor's course.
Absolute terrible professor, the worst I've had. Extremely unaccommodating, very confusing and boring lectures. His exams are the hardest I have ever experienced. Lots of memorization of dates, names, and works, with no accommodations- expects you to read multiple books per week. Please, do not take his classes if you enjoy your happiness.
Dr. Warren's American Literature course was excellent content-wise, with most readings being interesting and engaging. However, his course's oversight felt many times punitive at times. Thankfully, my TA graded my work and was more understanding. Opt for the TA, and you'll likely enjoy EN 2230 more for the great course it is!
Terrible, just awful. His lecture style is so strange--the absence of text on the slides makes it difficult to understand. Rude in emails, SO many texts to memorize, and the lectures are just tedious. The TA was awesome though, he's the only person that taught us anything and was super helpful. Do NOT take this guy, and if you must, choose the TA.
So so so so so so so bad. Doesn't care about his students and their success. Literally think I've read about more likeable villains than this guy. DONT TAKE HIS CLASSES!!! Unless you had the TA, he's literally gonna watch your GPA tank in real time
Please run away if ur thinking of taking any of his courses. Horrible lecturer drones on his online classes are all pre-recorded lectures that he reuses every. he manages to make interesting topics lifeless. Decentish grader but so mean when you ask for extensions - whether or not it's medical or emergency unwilling to actually help.
