She is an awesome teacher!!! I can not remember the name of the textbook, its around here somewhere. Dr. Flowers is a nice woman and if you need help, she is there to explain something to you. Also, in my class if you needed more time for an assignment she would listen as to why and then usually give you the extra time. Tak her you will not regret

Dr. Flowers is very nice and helpful if you have questions about assignments. It is a little tricky getting all of the required information for assignments because you need to check all of the areas in WebCt to make sure you meet her criteria. Some of the dates are incorrect and need to be updated but overall a great class.

Participate in her class! That's all she wants. Turn in your assignments, which can be done in 30 minutes and you're good to go.

Dr. Flowers just wants the class to participate. She was very helpful but if you don't turn in your assignments you will do poorly in her class. It's a great learning tool and as long as you are there and animated, you will do fine.

If you do the work and do it as directed you will do fine. She is a great teacher and really wants participation as well as attendance.

I would reccommend. Took online 4wk course. If you are taking more than 1 other course & work & have a family be prepared to work your butt off. Many doable assignments but are time consuming. Every 2 days something major is due for the 4wk course. If you can take it in 8wks it is the same load.She is very helpful.

i would recommend the class online if you are willing to log in every day to the class also you have to be patient because some of the assignments are a little confusing, but as long as you ask questions do your work and participate you will get a good grade. bonus: there are no tests! I liked that she records her lectures so you can listen to them

Dr. Flowers is a very wonderful professor I had bronhcitis for 2 weeks and couldn't talk because of no voice she understood completly and said that she hoped I get better soon very organized learned alot wonderful class

Took the online class. Must log in bout every other day to keep up. Post, do your assignments & participate in the Wimba online chat mtgs and you will do fine. Group project was fun & I enjoyed the class. Just make sure you clarify your assgnmnts. Best way is through the live Wimba chats. Dr. Flowers is very flexible as long as u communicate.

I took the technology in education class and thought she was very nice and clear on instructions in the syllabus, and during class. I would reccomend her to everyone. TAKE THIS CLASS!

I took the technology in education class and thought she was very nice. There is no textbook, just lots of computer work,i liked the assignments, some were easy and fun, and some were hard and tedious. I enjoyed this class!

Some of the assignments were very interesting others were not! She grades very hard, she expects good work. She responds to emails late at night but she responds the same day or the day after.

This class is really easy. If you keep up with the assignments, that are so simple by the way, you will pass with ease. Although I will say, 3 hrs of this class kills me its pretty boring. But an overall easy A class and Ms. Flowers is very polite and easily liked.

Easy, easy class. Chances are, you probably already know how to do half the stuff she'll teach you. (Powerpoints, flyers, etc.) But she did teach me somethings I didn't know how to do! It's all for a portfolio you'll make and you have a partner lesson plan presentation at the end. She is funny and entertaining. Class was an easy A! Take her!

This class is extremely easy! There are a lot of assignments so it is quite time consuming but overall I actually thought most of the assignments were fun. She is very nice and explains things very well. If you need this class, take it with her!

Ms. Flowers is such an amazing professor! She is so professional & truly cares about her students success. The class in general is easy as its all hands on computer work. She always responded to my emails when I had questions. Grades on angel were always posted up. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Flowers is a great instructor. No book required. There are 11 assignments,long mid-term and extremely long final. This course is not hard, but you will need the time and dedications to get all the work done.

Dr.Flowers is a great professor and she cares about her students. However, her instructions aren't always clear but she will answer any questions you may have. I have taken almost all my education classes with her and her classes require a lot reading and writing assignments. Just read the assigned readings.

GREAT PROFESSOR. I took the online 8 week course. Her lectures are very clear and explain exactly how to do each and every assignment. Then she also writes out exactly what she is requesting. You put everything in the assignment that is requested it is an easy A. I am going to take any and all EDU classes I can take with Prof Flowers. AWESOME.

This teacher is so helpful. The class is homework heavy but she is a true leader that will help you out in anyway possible. Dr. Flowers is is everything a teacher should be!

This class is the intro to educational technology class, and the ONLY things we got "familiar" with was microsoft word. I really was hoping to get introduced to the smart board, the elmo, and all the other technological advances that are in schools today. It was easy but not what i hoped for at all.

Follow her assignment and you would pass the class. She also gives good feedback's on anything you need and homework or assignment is not hard. This was the best online class that I have taken thus far and I would take this same class again! Professor Flowers provided very clear and concise online lectures, visually demonstrating how certain programs work. Her expectations were clear and her grading is fair. I am walking away from her class with a plethora of knowledge!

Her expectations are clear, give her what shes looking for and you will get an A, she is big on group discussions and participation, Dr. Flowers wants the online class to still have that in classroom feel... which is nice.

I had her for fall 2016 and she was all right. I would not spend a lot of time on her assignments but still got A's on almost all her assignments. The instructions can be unclear at times. I was docked points off the final because she was not clear enough and I didn't want to do half of the midterm.

This is my second time taking a class With Professor Flowers. She is not a hard grader. Just actually try at your work and you will get a good grade. She uses the book for this course but she also gives yo lectures that she recorded herself.

Professor Flowers was a great professor in my opinion. I had learned a lot in her lectures, and I enjoyed her class because she went over our turned in assignments with us, and had the class critique them in some way. It was nerve-wracking of course, but it helped a lot to learn how to do things correctly. She excited me to become a future educator

Flowers was a great professor I took her eight course. She gave really good feedback when I had a hard time understanding. I have nothing bad to say about Dr Flowers. When I didnt understand, she took the time to take my phone call and help me through. I am now taking her EDU280 in the Spring. Her EDU214 was so easy because of her great lectures and detailed instructions. Was a fun class because its all about your own creativity. Follow the rubric and you'll pass easy!

Dr. Flowers is a great Professor! Her class is hard, but you will learn! I learned so much about various softwares and new technology's. I was frustrated at times in her class, but nothing I couldn't handle. Dr. Flowers is always there to help in anyway that she can. She has positive feedback and overall she's a great instructor.

I loved Dr. Flowers class. I feel way more prepared now to use technology in the classroom. The assignments/projects were somewhat difficult and they really helped me understand what was being taught. She also did a great job at moving the class to online since covid-19. Overall she is very patient and makes sure you understand the material.

Great teacher! I took her for edu214 online and there was only one assignment per week and they we pretty easy. All you have to do is watch the video lectures. The most time consuming assignments were the midterm and final so make sure you start that a least a week before its due. She messages back fast. Make sure to do the reflections on time.

Took this class in person, pretty easy class just follow what she has on the rubric and you'll be fine. There is one assignment due at the the end of the week, and a midterm and a final.

Took Professor Flowers for EDU 201 and 280 and she's absolutely amazing. She is very organized, her feedback is timely and honest, and she's someone you will learn a lot from. I appreciate a teacher who actually puts in time and effort for her students and she really does. Good luck!

Dr. Flowers is super sweet and makes the class interesting. Her grading criteria can be confusing at times but if you show effort and care she is generous and gives full credit. You can also revise and make up lost points if you email for help. Emails back quickly, overall enjoyed her class and her kindness!

Dr. Flowers is great. She assigns a TON of homework, but her instructions are really clear. Just follow the directions to a tee and you'll get As. She responds to emails quickly and is really nice and respectful.

Flowers is a great instructor and her class is very manageable. It's 1 assignment and 2 discussion posts a week. Midterm essay, reflections, e-portfolio, and final presentation. If you do the work correctly, it's an easy A. Her emails can be vague, so ask classmates for help too. But her class is NOT HARD AT ALL. Definitely my favorite class.

I loved taking Dr. Flowers classes so much I have taken multiple and will any chance I can. She is truly a professor who cares.

I took an 8-week course. I've had her before & I was surprised this semester. 4 times she graded my work wrong or missing before the due date. On my final, she took off 150 pts for a "mistake" that didn't make sense. I've had an A all semester with no missing or late work and one slip dropped me to a B. I worked too hard to get 89.91% last second.

I loved having Dr. Flowers, she has been the best professor Ive had at CSN. She is understanding and very good at teaching her curriculum. Her lectures are outstanding and I love her use of posting them as videos so I can pause and write down things she said that arent on the pwrpoints.

Her class was not hard at all. The only reason I got my grade to be B- was because for midterm you need to interview a teacher and a Principal from any school in Clark County. I was only able to get a teacher to interview. You write a 2-page essay on each one. Assignments are mostly using PowerPoint, google docs, and Google slides.

Professor Flowers is an awesome professor! I took her 4-week long EDU214 class. The work load was tasking, but instructions on assignments and discussions were very clear! - She is extremely nice/caring and quick to respond. I really enjoyed this class!

Professor Flowers is very helpful and clear with her directions and grading criteria. She gave great feedback on each assignment and answered any questions via email in a timely manner. I would 100% take another class of hers!

Dr. Flowers is very clear and thorough in her lectures. The syllabus lays out all expectations and dates so you can follow along easily with the class schedule. Every assignment is posted to a discussion board for your peers to review and respond to, so that is something that may motivate you to put forth your best work each time.

Honestly, I was nervous about taking her class bc of all the other reviews that I read about her... BUT I'm glad I had her. Maybe she wasn't that great in the past, but she definitely was great this year. Read the syllabus & you'll be fine. No quizzes/tests. No crazy "10 page essays". Discussion posts are easy.

I am so glad I didn't skip taking this professor. I loved her class so much I signed up with her for 280 as well. WATCH the lectures! Email her if you need- she is super responsive. Great feedback, and is a very fair grader. Decent amount of homework. Super kind! If you can not handle feedback- you are not going to want to be a teacher LOL

I really enjoyed this course and one of my favorite professors at CSN. Very passionate about teaching and I learned a lot from this class. She gives good feedback and made the class engaging.

Professor Flowers is generally clear and helpful, though her instructions can be vague at times. The workload is manageable, and using resources like Unstuckstudy alongside the class discussions helps a lot. Overall, it's a solid class worth taking.

Professor Flowers was a wonderful professor. She would demonstrate how to do the assignment during class. The assignment was easy to do if you follow her demonstrations. The midterm is easy to do if you don't procrastinate and the same thing goes for the final project.

Dr. Flowers was great to have as a professor. She is great at responding to emails and explaining assignments throughout the semester. Stay on top of your assignments and attend her big blue button conferences and you will breeze through course. It was a fun course with many projects!

Great teacher, in my experience she does tell you what to correct if you do the assignment slightly wrong or things of that degree. This is a nice and easy class, 8 weeks for me. Most of the weeks are just discussion posts, a well written paragraph or 2 is enough with 2 comments on others posts. Final and other assignments easy, just stay locked in

This professor is a great one. I took her 4-week course it had a lot of work to submit in four weeks but none of the assignments took forever to complete. As long as you follow the rubric you'll get an A in the class.
