Best teacher I ever had very hip and makes want to come to class. I learn so much from him. I signed up for his English 101 class in the fall

Throughout my semester with Jordan Bell my experience with him was very positive . he is a very well and understanding teacher my grammar has improved since being in his class . I would recommend him to students that need to get to English 101 with the ability to work as good as the others .

Mr Bell's classes are easy to attend. Don't expect his classes to be boring. He's enthusiastic and very energetic. He made the class very understandable and always would help out with any situation.

As a student with a focus in engineering, English is my least favorite subject. Mr. Bell turned this around during my summer class with him. The methods he uses to discuss literature kept me interested in normally dull material. The class was a perfect mix of work, discussion, fun, and often hilarity as well.

He made the class extremely enjoyable with his sense of humor. Doing the readings is a must; it will help you in class discussion and quizzes.

Jordan Bell is an amazing teacher, he is outgoing and is always giving you extra credit. If you don't take his class you will regret it. We use the books and you get reader response quizzes in class. If you don't read the small stories he gives you for homework then you wont pass the quizzes. Not much studying needed.

Professor Bell is a great Teacher, this class is easily passed if you do the work, is a very fun teacher if the class participates.

Mr. Bell is a more than exceptional teacher. He prides himself on bettering those in and outside of the class. He is an inspiration to me to try and better myself.

Exceptional teacher, the lectures were fun and educational all together. Something other teachers should incorporate into their classes because a straight lecture is boring and interest is lost. Mr. Bell holds the students interest and I have improved nicely thanks to him.

Best teacher at DCC by far!

The only English Professor that has told me that I should get my doctorates diploma. He is the reason why I love writing essays and going to class. My essays have gotten better every time. Hes really funny and you will never be bored. P.s he loves when students bring him fruit. Everyone who has had him understands what I'm talking about.

Professor Bell is awesome! I took him for a summer class at south, you have to your homework, he does grade for participation so he knows who didn't do the reading. He loves teaching and cares about each and every student. He does a group project that I was not excited about, but we ended up having so much fun filming it. Papers are due every week

Professor Bell is awesome. I'm so glad I registered for his class. There's readings and reading responses almost every class. If you like to write, it is easy to get an A in his class. He's really hilarious and gives great feedback on papers.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!! I always looked forward coming to his class. Would spend time asking the class what they did over the weekend and stuff, and it shows that he really cares about you rather than just teach. Read the readings because he gives out quizzes to make sure if people read them or not. Do the essays because he gives amazing feedback on them!! Mr. Bell is so chill, I wish i could have a class with him every semester. Coolest professor ever!!!

I only have a few characters, so I'll just list off things about him. Easily reachable any time of the day, and welcoming Accommodating Good at debating Hilarious- you'll never have a dull moment in class. However, easily gets distracted. Gives good feedback Assigned readings every week and quizzes based on readings Really awesome teacher

Recommend taking Mr Bell for 102 if it's the last English course you have to take. I took it over the summer and it was the easiest class I've taken. He does a ton of group projects but half the class he talked about random stuff. He showed up 30 minutes late some days. If you want an easy A, take this class. If you are an English major... don't.

My favorite teacher of all time. You're in good hands with professor Bell. He truly wants the success of all his students! One will learn from his class, not just about english, but social issues and things pertaining to our world today. If you have the opportunity, take professor Bell!

I took this class over the summer. Prof Bell is very laid back but expects quality papers. His quizzes are easy as long as you read the material. I would definitely take him again.

Took this class in the summer and so happy I did. I heard from other students that attempted this class with other professors and dropped the class. He makes it very easy to participate, and gives you the necessary tools to get an A. Keeps it very real and honest. You can miss class a few times but don't abuse it. Def recommend him.

Mr. Bell is genuinely a great teacher. He doesn't give much work, just a few essays & short reading assignments, which are easily doable. In Mr. Bell's class, everybody is always engaged in the discussions. He's funny and his class is an easy A.

Jordan Bell is literally the best teacher at DCC. He does a great job teaching. He really enjoys putting smiles on students faces which is rare from a prof. He also gives amazing advice for in and out of school. Hes taught me a lot about our campus and literature. Hes a super helpful guy and really loves his job. I would highly recommend!!!

I was never a fan of English classes but this one was my favorite this semester. Bell is very considerate and caring. He is always doing his best to help all his students out as much as he can.

Took this class in spring of 2020 so I had the chance of both in person and online with professor Bell. Let me tell you he will literally bend over backwards to make sure every one of his students does not get left behind. He genuinely cares about his students education and wellbeing and is willing to work around your schedule if need be.

I took this class in a summer session back in 2019. It was my first college class after taking a semester off, and let me tell you- this man is the reason I went back to college full time. He is considerate and actually CARES about each student. He will never leave someone behind. If you show you're interested, he shows it 10x more. GREAT professor

I love bell so much this is my 2nd time taking another one of his classes. And my 2nd review about him as well. He isnt like most teachers. He understands we are human just like him, you can practically talk about anything with him. Hes very open minded so dont be scared to say how or what you feel. Coolest teacher ever!

I took ENG101 with Professor Bell, and let me tell you, he is amazing! Professor Bell is super accessible outside of class and offers great feedback on assignments, allowing me to feel confident in my writing. Not only did help us become strong writers but, we developed our racial literacy, which was my favorite part of this course!

Absolutely PHENOMENAL professor. Clear grading criteria, excellent feedback, great lectures (it was an RA course, but he did weekly zoom classes for those who wanted to join, which was so helpful), always responsive to emails, always willing to support students however he can. Also a great, chill dude in general. Can't recommend his classes enough!

Professor Bell is an amazing person. He is very interactive with our class and goes out of his way to make sure we can do the best possible. He'll do zooms and in person meetings. I highly recommend this professor he is amazing!
