I was lucky enough to have Jordan as my Linear Algebra prof last semester and he was by far my favourite professor that term. The course was difficult but Jordan was able to pare down the concepts into understandable material and his exam review sessions are lifesaving! Jordan is really available to help and is an amazing and engaging professor.

Prof. Hamilton once again proved that he is the best instructor at Waterloo. His teaching is phenomenal and he is constantly trying to improved. Amazing prof that really knows his stuff. He has no problem helping with assignments and makes sure people actually understand the solutions. If you have him make sure you go to his help session before midterms and finals. It's a full out review session formatted around what you need to know and has been super helpful attending them for 115 & 118.

Take his courses whatever mandatory or not! Extremely amusing lectures and always helpful professor! Do not miss any lectures especially Fridays' ! BTW, amazing review session, go to it then you will pass the course for sure ;-)

Best Prof ever! The way he organised his lectures and notes is the best I've seen so far. And if you have any questions, he will be there to help you via e-mail or in person. His extra office hours is useful as well. The best part is his exam review session. All in all, if you see him in the list, register under his section straight away.

Jordan is an awesome prof. Out of all my courses, I struggle with calculus the most, and Jordan's lectures, amazing notes, and willingness to help outside the classroom just helped me get a 63 on my calc midterm - I got a 43 last year when I failed 1A engineering... thank you, Jordan!

This prof is amazing. He is pretty helpful, and he is very nice, he even gave the 1 bonus mark in the final exam. It is very useful to go to his office hours. Also, he has done review sessions for both midterm and final. I like him a lot.

Simply amazing, we give him a standing ovation after every lecture because he always finds a way to amaze. He makes a boring class engaging and interesting to go to. People line the stairs just to catch a glimpse of him teaching. He is honestly on par with the other great math profs, and is an inspiration to use all.

So so so nice and kind and caring -- definitely one of my favourite profs this term. Considering the course was mind numbingly boring at the beginning (basically a review of high school calculus) he did a great job of keeping things interesting for us. Also very approachable outside of class and always ended friday's with something fun!!

I didn't have Hamilton as my prof, but I was one of those kids that would leave their calc lecture to go to his because he just makes things so much easier to understand! He really cares about his students. Class was always packed.

I LOVE JORDAN HAMILTON. He cares so much about his students, his lectures are extremely clear, and he is an overall incredible prof. If you have him, you're lucky. He's the only prof in this entire school worth waking up for 8:30 for. His sections always have a higher average than the course overall, so GO to his lectures. Also, fun Fridays!

J Hammy is a legend. He teaches material in a clear manner. He also did fun logic problems every Friday. He runs lots of office hours for students. Lots of students respect him. He posts his weekly notes to Learn so students can study them. He also ran review sessions during midterms and finals. All profs should be like him.

This man is a gem. Calculus sucks, but somehow I enjoyed his classes? He explained everything clearly, without rushing through details. I took calculus in highschool so I may have had an advantage, but this is the first time I really understood it. He tells good stories and gives out candy. 10/10 would recommend.

Best First Year Calc Prof at UW. His notes are amazing and so are his lectures. Fun Fridays are always something to look forward to at the end of the week.

My class is a sorta disruptive class, but when Jordan started speaking, there was not a single noise made. He made difficult topics into something comprehensible. He is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. He truly cares and will teach in the style the class will understand. It was a pleasure being in his class.

J Hammy taught us for Calculus 1 in the fall term. He enjoyed our class so much (and we enjoyed him) that he requested to teach us again for Calculus 2 (MATH 118). His teaching style was mostly the same as before. He encourages questions in class and provides lots of help in the form of review sessions and office hours. He's a pretty chill dude.

Jordan is an amazing prof!!! ME118 got really hard after the midterm so be ready because I was not. You're so lucky if you get him as a prof!!!

Jordan was the BEST prof for Calculus!!! I switched into his class partway into the semester and instantly many of my confusions were cleared up. Math 137 is a difficult course but Jordan gets you through it! His extra review sessions before the midterm and final saved me!

Nice instructor, always available for extra help. Notes and lectures are pretty good. Has a quirky sense of humour but its never too intrusive. Assignments and exams are more fair than some other instructors in the math faculty, so his courses wont be too time consuming.
