Best professor at BC!!!

I took Professor Rude during summer school. He's such a good teacher..tests are not too difficult as long as you show up and take notes. He also plays a song before each lecture which really helps you relate to the topic..I would recommend him to anyone! He really loves what he teaches and wants his students to do well..One of my favorite teachers!

Professor Rude is an awesome teacher, he is truely passionate about what he does and he knows his material! He knows how to single out each subject and pinpoint it to the point where you can understand it. I HIGHLY recommend taking him, there is no homework from the book and everything that he hands out is easy and straight from the lectures.

I wasn't excited about taking Statistics for nursing. Prof. Rude takes a not so fun subject and makes it fun and easy to understand. Go to class, take notes, and read the book. You can bring a note card to each test; make sure you understand the material or else the note card won't help. One of the best at BC. Loves his job and students.

Professor Rude really wants you to understand the material. I asked him questions on the handouts, and quizzes, and he always helped me. But you HAVE to attend class, or you'll get lost, and you HAVE to ask questions if you don't understand. Professor Rude lets you use a notecard for each test, and drop a test grade. Easy math, too.

He is a great teacher, the tests are all multiple choice plus u can use ur notes. i didn't miss a day of class and it was a breeze. he's a good guy, caring and very helpful..plus he keeps you smiling. i would reccomend him to everyone

AWSOME!! he explains everything so well and even if you dont do good in your test you can still save your grade by doing all the handouts he gives you.. i have been doing not so well with the test but handed in all the handouts and i'm keeping a solid B in the class...hes awsome take him if you want to have some fun in stats...

Professor Rude is seriously amazing! He made the subject really interesting and made you want to come to class. His teaching style is great and he has a way of relating the material to you that way it is easier to understand. Best teacher ever! The class is fun and easy and you actually want to show up! Also the homework is sooo easy!

WONDERFUL TEACHER!!! i took rude for psych 1 (my first psych class) 3 years ago, he was such an influence on me that i changed my major to psych and now i am at csub going for my Master's. i would recommend him to any and everyone. no more notes now in his upper division but his style is great u will learn alot and enjoy class too! he is the best!!

He is the best professor i've had so far at BC makes the class fun and makes you WANT to come to class the material is very easy and you will learn a LOT. i really loved his class. I fell behind in class for not showing up for about a month but i was able to pick up my grade from his extra credit assignments. he allows you to do as much as you want

In took this class in Summer 2011 with another teacher and received a "D". I took Jordan and he was so helpful, funny and knowledgeable, made me want to come to class. He will even adjust his office hours to accomodate the student. If you need to take Stats, no one is better than Jordan. Jordan wants you to succeed & will do what needs to be done.

This class was really easy. One of my easiest at BC so far. Rude is really laid back and funny, but knows how to present the information to the class in a way that's interesting. Quizzes were easy, exams were based on the quizzes, and if you DO the writing assignments, he'll give you a good grade on them. Glad I took PSYCH B1a with RUDE!

By far, the best professor I've had at BC. Really reaffirmed my decision to study psychology. Rude is really kickback but knows how to teach a class. Has many personal as well as professional examples for the concepts he teaches. The tests are challenging, but not really tough if you study and do the mini quizzes that he assigns. Totally recommend!

He was one of my favorite professors this semester. This is a teacher that really cares about his students.The class is hard if you dont study but if you dont get the work he will help you out. I loved this class!

I have always hated anything involving Math, but Jordan did such an amazing job teaching. His passion for teaching and learning was one of the reasons why i learned so much! AMAAAZING teacher!!!! I recommend him to anyone who thinks math is hard! His tests are fair and the work is easy enough if you go to class!

I was terrified of Statistics when I first when into this class, but it has been mad fun by Professor Rude. He teaches the concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand, and if you don't he will help you every step of the way to make sure you understand them and do well. I have greatly enjoyed this course, because of him.

Great teacher with a very refreshing personality! He made this class interesting even when the material was a bore! Make sure to ask him to tell a joke before every test if your looking for a laugh, he actually eases your nerves over a test in a psychological way with his jokes, brilliant! I would highly recommend Mr. Rude for PSYC B5.

I was pretty darn terrified going into this class. Professor Rude was born for this job. He understands the students' fears of stats, and helps you WHENEVER you ask. Genuinely cares about his students. Very funny. Great stories. Very organized and clear. Group project at the end of the semester, but it was cake. Get the book for this class.

Jordan (as he wants his students to call him) is a great guy. He has TONS of experience in his field and therefore has real life examples for a lot of what he teaches. Made a scary class not so bad. Will let you make up late work and use notes for exams.

Mr. Rude is a very fun teacher. I was intimidated by his class at first(statistics for gods sake!?!) but he makes you feel comfortable the very first day. His lectures and class handouts were helpful and he lets you use a not card on exams. A++ teacher

I did not think i could pass stats. But he was clear and helpful. I took him in the summer so there was plenty of busy work and a group project. Great class just do the work and you will be fine.

He is a very good professor, very helpful as well, but the math is a bit tough. You take a lot of notes!

Professor Rude is an excellent teacher. Yes, the class can get a bit tough but he is always there to help you if you're struggling. He truly cares about your grade. I didn't buy the book and still managed to get an A. Just show up, take notes and study up. He lets you use a cheat sheet for every test so you'll be fine. Recommend him! Good Luck!

Jordan was a great professor! He has a lot of personal experience with stats which he uses to make lectures relatable. Very passionate about stats. Extremely helpful. I was terrified before I started this class because math is my downfall, but Jordan made this class as easy as possible. He made sure everyone knew the material before proceeding.

Jordan is a really good choice if you struggle with math, he will put you at easy from the start and will make the subject interesting and understandable. as long as you do the work and put in the effort it will be ok.

Mr. Rude was an awesome professor. The lecture material wasn't the most interesting but he made them fun and funny. He definitely cares about students passing and grasping the material. HW and exams are average. Read the chapters, follow the Power points, and do the HW and you will pass easily.

He was awesome and you can tell he cares a lot about his students. the powerpoints he makes for his tests are very helpful. go to class because there are participation points. He is very enthusiastic and his examples help the material

I have had the pleasure to be in Mr. Rudes class for Psych B5 and Psych B6 and I have to say by far one of the most caring and passionate professors at BC.

Makes statistics fun and is able to give examples that bring the concepts into perspective. Tests arent easy but you can use a notecard. Homework handouts after most classes but if you do them you will pass the class. They prepare you for the tests and work as great study guides. Professor has a good sense of humor and genuinely cares.

Jordan Rude is my favorite professor so far!!! So funny and sweet! I HATE math and I passed his class with 86%. Getting a B is totally doable. He makes the long boring stats lectures fun. Lots of work sheets to ensure you understand the material and its easy points. So sad that the semester is over.

Professor Rude is the best professor of this course. He will help you with anything you need help with and makes things easy. He allows one 3x5 card written front and back for exams. He is the most awesome professor, so I would recommend him for any student in need of PSYCB5.

Best professor I have had. Hes funny and has a lot of experience on the topic. Cares about his students and makes the material easy to understand. The final was an easy group presentation. Would definitely recommend him.

Pro. Rude is awesome. He's very laid back and funny. But don't take that for granted, with any class you get out of it what you put into it. Show up and take good notes (because you WILL need them), Go to office hours if you need help, Study and you'll have no problem.

Professor Rude was AWESOME!!! There are homework assignments every class but typically simple 5 to 10 questions. 4 tests 1 group project . Show up to class and do the 10pt HW everyday you will be fine Quizzes on CANVAS but u can take as many times as u like until u get an A.

Professor Rude is one of, if not the best professor I've had in college, as long as you do the online reading and study what he tells you and do the work it will be easy to pass, he is very enthusiastic about the subjects he teaches and even tries to make the boring subjects entertaining. If you get a chance and need a course he teaches take it!

I took PSYC B1A, B5, B6, and B30 with Rude, he is the absolute best professor there is!! He is super understanding and really cares about how well you do in his class. Hes funny and always makes lectures fun and engaging. Study for the tests and you should do great.

I was really scared to take stats, but Professor Rude taught really well and gave a lot of real life examples in his lectures. He genuinely loves talking about stats and cares about the students. We only had 4 tests, on e group project and daily homework which was usually 10 questions. The final was a group project presentation.

Professor Jordan Rude is the best teacher I have had on this campus! He makes sure you understand your material and in my opinion grades fairly. He is lenient and very understanding.

Tries not to make the class seem difficult. He goes over homework assignments not all just one question from the problem-solving side. He explains the formulas very well. This class is not a math class. But get ready to study terminology and formulas and graphs and shape distributions etc.

BY FAR THE BEST PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR EVER ! I enjoyed attending his class and listening to his lectures. :) Show up to class and take notes, he provides outlines for the exam!

Great professor, takes his time to ensure you understand the material. Also very lenient when it comes to turning in late assignments. One group project but he lets you choose the topic. Would definitely take professor Rude again!

Very nice and considerate professor. He takes a while to respond to emails. He has canceled a lot of classes so possibly expect to have some rushed lectures. He is willing to work with you if you have any issues.

Great professor would recommend for sure I took him for psyc b20 social psyc and psyc b30 Human sexuality and got B in both classes. Definitely would recommend him. Not a lot of work just pay attention and hell answer any questions you have. Interesting lectures for sure

You have to do a couple papers throughout the semester but theyre pretty easy. Attendance is not mandatory which was great and hed cancel class often which was also great.

Professor Rude was very helpful. If there were any problems understanding the material, he was readily available & offered drop in days on Zoom, where he was there to answer any questions. He provided clear examples on how to do the work, all you have to do is follow it, watch the videos he provides, and let him know if you're struggling. Very nice

Professor Rude was a joy to be around when we actually had class; he seemed to have a rough semester, so I wish we could have spent more time with him. When we did have class he lectured very well and was thorough when introducing us to new formulas or concepts. I struggled a bit, but that was likely my own fault. A wonderful guy.

I took a short human sexuality class with him and by far this was my favorite class at BC so far. This Professor was very caring and was very nice. There is one final paper at the end but it is easy enough. Professor Rude makes the class so fun and as uncomfortable as possible.

easy A im taking 2 of his courses Human sex and stats and all im going to say is TAKE THIS CLASS! If u want little to no work thats all on quizlet this is the perfect class finished it in one week and it supposed to be a semester long. Easy grader and just a really cool teacher to have.

Professor Rude canceled class a lot, which in turn caused a lot of assignments and projects to be canceled too. A textbook is technically required, but we never used it. He says there's really not a lot of math, but there is. It's just not hard math. His lectures are really easy to understand and his examples for each lesson are really helpful too.

Professor Rude is a very caring professor who cares about making sure the material gets through to his students. He is respectful of the time of students, and understands if work would need to be turned in late. He provides fun lectures and, although he can sometimes cancel class for health reasons, he has fun lectures. Would definitely recommend!

I took this Professor twice in different courses and he's fantastic he makes class fun and leaves you wanting more of what he has to say. He's very caring and will try to help you as much as possible with school or personal stuff. Will make sure you pass the class as long as you're willing to pass.

The course is really straightforward and the professor is great and can be reached easily by email. The course load is not overwhelming and the textbook and video lectures make concepts easier to understand. Highly recommend.

If your taking psychology, this professor is the ONE! HE IS AMAZING, VERY EASY CLASS! 16 modules with a discussion and quiz for each and 4 exams as well as 2 essays. His grading is very fair and as long as you do the work u will get a 100 for essays and discussions. Quizes are easy and based from the book. Buy textbook online. :)

Awesome teacher, enjoyed the lectures. He has quizzes for all chapters, midterm and finals. He had discussions SPSS activities. Enjoyed the class and learning about statistics. Very caring teacher. Math in the class is not hard.

He uses pop culture references in lecture to make the material more relevant to me. He's funny and witty so the class is more interesting. He cares and is accessible by email and office hours. Professor Rude is hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. His classes are laid back but informational. If you are having issues he does his best to help you and is very understanding of those issues. He teaches class like a adult conversation and respect any input you contribute in discussions. Classes are never boring.

Professor actually enjoys his job and cares that his students actually understand (SO RARE) and you can tell and I respect him for that and send him blessings! Also grades extremely fast literally same day. 10/10 There is math involved but I feel he does a good job of explaining it (as someone WHO IS NOT GOOD AT MATH) Seriously a great teacher.

I took his human sexuality online class and he was a really good professor and his lectures are not boring or difficult. He is very understanding and his quizzes and assignments are not too difficult. He gives a reasonable amount of time for deadlines. As long as you try your best and complete the readings and assignments you will pass.

Professor Rude's class was amazing. The lecture videos were very interesting, and you can tell he knows a lot about this subject. The class was pretty easy, you have one chapter, lecture, quiz, and discussion every week, and then an exam every 4ish weeks. Just do the work and you will be fine.

Overall, I enjoyed Professor Rude's class. He is really funny and enjoyable to listen to, however some of his lectures kind of feel like he is talking about the same thing, It gets a little boring. Other than that his tests are really manageable and he provides study guides. Overall he is a super sweet dude and I would totally recommend him.
