Professor Walk is the best! He is engaging and really wants to help all of his students. He's really funny in class and very open for questions or if you ever need help. Extremely approachable and wants to get to know everyone as much as he can.
Dr. Walk is a great professor! He keeps his lectures entertaining with tons of jokes and anecdotes throughout, while still staying on topic and clearly explaining everything. He really makes himself available for anyone who needs help. Do be aware that the class isn't easy by nature, but definitely take his class if you have the opportunity!
Dr. Walk is a great professor - you can tell he is very passionate about the subject and cares that his students understand the material. His lectures are very detailed and entertaining. He does a good job responding to emails and offers help outside of class. Highly recommend taking a class with Dr. Walk if you can!
Dr. Walk is the only professor I've had this semester to ask what my name is. He shows obvious caring for his students and the subject he teaches. I'm 10x less scared of organic chemistry next semester knowing I can be in his class again. The class is well-organized and straightforward. Studying and homework assignments are manageable as well.
Dr. Walk is very helpful and flexible with his schedule. His lectures are always fun especially when he has a demonstration. He will always have you laughing. Expect to have homework due once a week but its not a lot. Test can be kinda hard if you dont study.
I absolutely love Dr. Walk! His lectures are very clear and easy to follow, and he clearly really cares about the students. He tells funny jokes a lot, and draws cute pictures. He is quick to answer emails and is willing to meet one on one to answer any questions you may have. I am not very good at chemistry, but his lecture is my favorite class!!
Dr. Walk tries and succeeds at making lectures both fun and easy to understand. He uses demonstrations of various reactions,(especially combustion reactions) to keep class interesting. He is always willing and happy to help with any problem his students may have.
Professor Walk was a great teacher! I had taken Chem in high school so I took Gen Chem just to see if I would like college level chemistry. Not only was Professor Walk always open to questions (thru emails and meetings) super helpful but, I always looked forward to going to his lectures. If you struggle with Chem, he will be there ready to help.
This is organic chemistry, a legendary weed-out class. And there's no better teacher at W&M to walk through it than with Walk. He's extremely clear with what to study and makes an amazing effort to connect with every student. He also hands out starbursts! Great guy, great professor
amazing
He's pretty much available 24/7 via office hour, e-mail, or review session. Since He doesn't have any TA's, it's hard for him to give individualized attention. He tries as best as he can to make the testing criteria VERY clear. Very fun to listen to and has a unique sense of humor. And yes professor, we know you read these comments.
All around good guy who genuinely cares for his students, and is a pretty good teacher to boot. Don't expect the test to be easier than what you would expect in a chem class just because he is nice though.
Dr. Walk is incredible. His lectures are well organized and he is constantly looking for ways to help students succeed like twice weekly workshops and lecture podcasts. That being said, organic chemistry is not easy. You have to put in a ton of work to succeed, but Dr. Walk will be there to help you. He also tells funny stories, esp. about his dog.
Professor Walk is so dedicated to his teaching position. He goes above and beyond to be there for his students including practically daily review sessions, podcasts of every lecture, and posting practice problems. Orgo is hard but if you do the practice problems, go to class, and study hard, you will absolutely succeed. Very fair curve on tests too
Prof. Walk will be a fantastic professor in a couple of years. Right now he's still pretty new, and feeling his way into teaching. However, he's totally open to suggestions and changes his ways when needed such as adding more office hours and recording lectures when asked. He's funny and he used to be a W&M student so he gets what its like here.
I went into Organic Chemistry extremely terrified. I even emailed Doctor Walk weeks before the course started to state my concerns. From the start he has been extremely encouraging and helpful. Now that today marks the day that I'm finally done with Orgo 1, I gotta say, I am going to miss it. It ended up being my favorite class this semester.
I couldn't have asked for a better professor to teach orgo. Hilarious, caring, and sweet, Dr. Walk does everything in his power to make lectures entertaining and relatively painless. While the exams were certainly tough, the curves were always reasonable and fair. It's very clear that Dr. Walk wants everyone to succeed in his class.
Dr Walk is very caring. If there is anything that he can do to help students with understanding the materials, keeping entertaining during lectures, or life advices, he will do everything. It was blessing to take Orgo from him, yet the course itself is hard if you are not genuinely orgo person ( rxns....)
Dr. Walk is easily one of the best professors here at William and Mary. He really cares for his students and he's genuinely an awesome guy. I had him for summer course and he tried his best to make us understand in the short month that we had. To do well in his class do all the ungraded homework he assigns and ask him questions about it.
He really wants his students to succeed. He makes the material as easy to understand as possible, but I still had to study a lot outside of class, just because chemistry is a hard subject for me. He's a fair grader who does curve exams, and he also has review sessions before every exam/lots of office hours.
Professor Walk is so great. Sometimes I think he needs to do less--he's so available all the time, review sessions, office hours, after class--he does everything he can to help students out, and knows most of them by name. Explains Orgo really well, makes class fun, and plays THEME songs every day!:) Orgo is cool!
Professor Walk is easily the best professor I have ever had. I really struggled with the class early on and he helped me form new study habits and was extremely encouraging. He is so kind and goes out of his way to help you succeed. The class isn't easy but it is well worth the work. Also, J-Walk makes some great Chem puns.
Its a weed out class so its definitely not going to be easy. Having a chem background is extremely helpful but Walk posts lectures online and has great office hours. Would recommend
Professor Walk is awesome. Instead of using the textbook, he followed this workbook that made organic chemistry a lot easier than most textbooks do. He's very down-to-earth, funny, genius, and attentive. He helps a lot in office hours, and easily clears up confusing concepts. Take Walk and you won't regret it.
He puts videos of his lectures online, which is really helpful. I would recommend watching his videos and writing down what he says along with what he writes down to absorb the material fully. Most of his test problems are similar to the problems he does in class, so really understand his notes materials and you will be good for his class.
What a gem. If I could take Walk for every chem req I had I would. He makes chemistry fun and explains difficult concepts clearly and simply. He also posts lecture vids and has great office hours. Walk is the epitome of amazing profs, highly recommend.
Dr. Walk is easily one of the best professors at the school.I had him both for Chem 103 & Chem 206. His lectures are crystal clear, he posts practice tests, holds review sessions, has tons office hours, and responds to emails within a few hours. What's not to love? Orgo 1 is a very difficult course, but Walk does his best to make it understandable.
HE IS FABULOUS! Best professor ever! He makes everything crystal clearlecture notes, grading criteria, what's on the exam, everything. His lecture is fun and comprehensible, with lots of interesting demos. You just need to go through lecture notes before every exam and you're ready for an A. Textbooks are not so necessary for this class.
Grade was the 3 midterms, the HW, and the final. Textbook is the klein book, use it. I actually understood Orgo and I think that's only because of Walk. Really wants to work with students. Curves test scores, if you get an A on the final you get an A in the class regardless. This is a hard class, but I'd rather take it with Walk than anyone else
The best science professor I have had at the college by far. Truly enjoys and understands what he teaches. He is always available for office hours and does everything in his power to help you get an A.
Please DO NOT take Prof. Walk if you're also taking CSCI 241. Organic chemistry and computer science are both demanding, and even if his lectures are okay, I barely passed a single exam. No extra credit is available, his class is HUGE, the grading is confusing, and I switched majors. I mean it!
Professor Walk is a great teacher and you can tell he loves what he does; lectures are never dry, and there's usually a demo. He's a fair grader and the tests reflect what was covered in class, would definitely recommend him for this class!
Dr. Walk is an amazing professor! You are graded on 3 tests, homework sets, and a final. He really wants to see you succeed, and he is very passionate about chemistry. He makes himself very accessible outside of class. Although his tests are challenging, if you study the textbook, lecture notes, homework, and extra problems, you will do well.
Walk is the best choice for Orgo 1 hands down. The class is just as hard as everyone hypes it up to be, but you have a way better chance if you take it with Walk. He puts a lot of care into his lectures, gives each one a theme song, and does everything he can to help you succeed: review sessions, office hours, extra credit. He is great.
Professor Walk has a genuine love for the subject, and much more, a love for teaching it. Despite the lecture hall having 120 students, the amount of energy and effort Walk puts into his lectures makes it feel as if you were in a 20 person classroom.
Walk is the best! 3 midterms, a final, and about 10-13 homework sets comprise your grade. The material is fairly difficult but Walk does an amazing job breaking it down! Do lots of practice and stay on top of your studying to do well on the tests.
As long as you understand the concepts you'll do fine on the tests
Walk consistently delivers the material in a way that is easy to understand. He keeps the class engaged for the entire class time.
Professor Walk clearly knows what tf he's talking about. The material is really boring, but he does a good job of trying to make chemistry more interesting. I liked when he would tell little stories during lecture. The tests were pretty difficult for me and that was the majority of our grade. Thank god he had those problem sets.
Someone once told me, "You're with professor Walk? You're in gooood hands." Passionate prof., breaks things down nicely and makes everything easily understandable. Online homework is automatically graded and gives you good immediate feedback! No *real* need to read textbook if you follow the lectures (which are all recorded).
Jordan Walk is by far my favorite professor so far at William and Mary.
Intro chem is a weed out class but Walk gives you chances beyond just the tests to boost your grades. He's also good at explaining concepts in an easy to understand way.
Had Walk during the COVID spring semester. He made the exams extremely hard and was very inflexible with them. The tests are so specific and so much harder than the work done in class and the practice exams. Super unhelpful and hard to do well in this class. Not a good lecturer like people say, seems to enjoy making it hard for students to succeed
Walk's passion for ochem AND teaching really shines through. All lectures are recorded, and he holds several group workshops alongside normal office hours. Professor Walk is always willing to answer questions, whether they be in person, through email, or on Piazza. Frankly, the best professor I've had in my undergraduate career. Take this class!
Professor Walk is an overall great professor; very funny, caring, sarcastic, and knowledgeable (sometimes too much, and we get extra information that wasn't really needed). My few complaints are that his lectures can be very fast and disorganized, and Chem 103 itself seems overly rigorous for an intro class (didn't take HS chem? Good luck...).
I took Walk for Chem 103 and loved him so much that I was going to put off orgo if i didn't get him again for 206. I went into college dreading chem he made my required chem a blast. It's a hard class but the B's I'm getting are worth it because he's just such a great professor. He records the lectures but I never wanted to skip a lecture.
I've had Professor Walk for both CHEM103 and CHEM206 and he is by far one of the best science professors I've had so far. He cares so much about his students and only wants them to succeed. Both Gen Chem and Orgo are tough classes but he tries to make them manageable yet academically challenging (hence, why you are at W&M). Highly recommend!!
If you are going to take chemistry, take it with Jordan Walk. He is by far the most amazing professor I have had a William and Mary because he teaches with our best interests in mind. Orgo is no piece of cake, but Professor Walk makes it manageable by recording class lectures, having many review sessions, and being very available. Walk is AMAZING!
With the craziness of the virus outbreak, Professor Walk has done his best to make sure every student is able to exceed (curving exams, open-note tests, responding to emails or Piazza within hours, etc.) This class is just hard, ( a lot information!), but it's not his fault because he is a fair grader and super accessible outside of class.
I love professor Walk. He is so kind and really loves the things he teaches about. His lectures are very detailed and flow very well. His class is definitely hard, but he is super caring and will always be there to help you along the way. Definitely choose walk!
Professor Walk is a great person and if you enjoy chemistry, I'm sure you do well. However, he makes this class extremely difficult. If you want to get a B or above and aren't naturally gifted at the material, you need to go to every class, do all the homework and put in all the time. Print out the notes he provides or you cant keep up.
Cold take: Walk is the best! Not only does he actually properly use technology such as piazza and blackboard (recorded lectures, yes!) but he cares about you getting the grade you deserve and learning for learning's sake. He's been great about responding to people 's needs during covid19 by being accessible and understanding different situations.
makes topics interesting .go lectures on time (don't watch later, u could get behind) and try to do HW ((un)graded ) the week it is introduced. Ask for help the moment you need it (office hrs/Piazza). u must work for grade - actually understand his lectures & notes well. thats why people say his tests are hard. put in effort & u'll be fine:)
Professor Walk does an excellent job teaching Orgo 1 (which obviously by nature is content-heavy), especially explaining and clarifying content and questions you may have. He is also very accessible and kind, and despite COVID, his online lectures and Zoom sessions felt genuine and helpful. Definitely would take again! Also love his dog and cat
Orgo is hard, there is no sugar coating it. But Walk does what he can to help his kids succeed, so it's really up to the student to take advantage of everything he offers. I probably could have done better in this class had it not been for COVID pushing classes online (& thus not being super busy with other classes). Put in the effort-it pays off!!
The lab protocols weren't always clear and could be difficult to follow. Lab quizzes/exams were super specific and hard to do well on (significant portion of grade). Video discussions were well structured and informative.
Dr. Walk has a god given talent at teaching organic chemistry, as his lectures are very easy to follow. He's also very good about making sure that you get the grade that you deserve, and as long as you watch all of his lectures and do all the practice problems. You're almost guaranteed an 80% or higher on each exam. Overall, would recommend.
Hes very funny and tries to be available outside of class. Lectures are have a lot of information crammed in
I loathed chemistry in hs, but Prof Walk guides you through content in a way that's comprehensible and relatable. I could intuitively connect past content and understand the real life application. He listens closely to the students and always reminds us that he's on our side. I'm looking to take more chem classes bc of him. One of the best at WM.
A god among men. Seriously though, Prof Walk not only knows his stuff but also how to explain it very well. He was extremely flexible and accommodating this semester and really seemed to understand the students' struggles. HIGHLY recommend taking a course with him. You won't regret it!
Professor Walk was a great choice for gen chem 1. He was very understanding and flexible throughout the remote semester. The exams weren't too bad, but he curves the grades when he realizes that he made some aspects of it too difficult. The homework is simple and a great way to study. Overall, Walk made a difficult class super easy to understand.
One of the most organized online professors that I had. Lecture notes were okay, they were confusing when you go back to review them. Wish we didn't have back to back exams as some materials were too dense to understand in a few days. Homework was decent but personally, it was too much especially with the condensed semester.
professor walk is amazing. i don't love chem but he did a great job making a remote course feel like a real lecture experience. he's very goofy, down to earth, and a natural entertainer. and more than happy to help u. the class itself is very lecture and test based, a challenge at times but not awful i suppose.
I was really scared for chem, but Walk is a wonderful prof. His lectures are really easy to follow even though the content is difficult, and he was very accessible. The tests were as difficult as the content but actually very straight forward, no trick questions. If you have to take chem, I highly recommend taking it with him.
Walk made taking chem in a pandemic enjoyable! He sang karaoke before lectures and tried to get to know us. Go to his office hours for clarification/get help with sapling. He was so accommodating and fair; he even let me take an exam on a different day. Only complaint is my final ended up being worth 50% of my grade because it replaced lowest test.
I did not like chemistry by any means, but Professor Walk was a pretty good professor and he made the class interesting. Your grade is basically based on the exams, but he did curve for the most part. However, the exams (in my opinion, since I am not too fond of chem) were difficult. With the remote setting, it was difficult to gain partial credit.
This is a very hard class but Professor Walk makes it more interesting and fun. I am not a STEM major so this was more out of my element but if you do a lot of studying and practice problems, you will be fine. He gives a lot of opportunities to reach him outside of class and just makes really good lecture recordings.
I'm no good at gem chem and I don't think there was anything he could've done to get me a better grade. Walk made his lectures engaging and funny and I definitely learned a lot. He began a lot of them with a song he recorded on his new karaoke machine. Didn't get a lot of feedback, however
Professor Walk is the best professor you will ever receive for Orgo. He uses analogies that will allow you to understand all his content and plenty of office hours that feel like a real classroom. If you watch his lectures you will not be bored and you will learn a lot as well. He is a very fair and really cares about his students
AMAZING. If you're taking chem103, take it with him. He's hilarious, engaging, gives you an outline to take notes with, and is the kind of prof who makes hard material seem easy.
I don't know what I would do without Jordan Walk. I'm not good at chemistry, but I took orgo over the summer and somehow got an A? It was insanely difficult and fast paced, but he's always available to help. Lectures are dense but clear; textbook says required but I didn't get one and I was fine with just the homework on sapling. Don't fall behind!
walk is great but if you skip class ur probably screwed. exams are hard and unfortunately are most of your grade. he grades fairly and gives some credit for correct work on tests. good luck tho if you skip class or don't study
I loved Walk so much. He made lectures interesting and genuinely wants you to do well in his class. If you have to take chem, take it with walk. The HW assignments are really helpful in studying for the test, and he's good about being available to answer questions.
Honestly, the reviews for this class are misleading. I had previous chemistry experience through AP chem, and that is the only thing that has saved my grade. Walk is disorganized and his exam questions are hard to interpret. If you like structure in lectures, this is not the professor for you. Read the textbook and rely on youtube and khan academy.
I really enjoyed Walks class this year. He has an enjoyable personality and does a good job of simplifying enough to be easily understood. The exams similar to homework and practice in class. I was hesitant to give 5 stars because the final was absolutely ridiculous. 30% of grade and didn't feel reflect what was taught well. Good class, bad final.
Nothing he says will be tested will actually be on the test. No clear organization and overall I felt unprepared for every test. Lectures are interesting, but he tells you things, not teaches. He will also go back on what he says in his lectures. Otherwise not too bad. Homework and lots of practice problems. Terrible experience even tho I love chem
Chem 103 is and will always be a very difficult intro-level class. However, Walk gives a lot of good quality practice material throughout the semester and is funny, which makes going to class a lot more enjoyable. He also uploads videos and transcripts of the notes, which is really helpful. The final exam will 100% tear you a new one though, so rip
Disorganized, chaotic notes, absolutely no context/why/how for concepts, disgusting exams. I studied myself into burnout, and my effort/mastery were NOT reflected. If you're a student who needs clear explanations/lots of structure/had weak hs chem, you're gonna have to work your butt off. I really don't even think I learned anything.
I liked weekly problem sets with unlimited attempts, recorded lectures, lots of office hours, and lectures are entertaining & Kahn Academy-like. He had four midterms and a final exam which were fair I am just a bad test taker but I feel like I understand the material really well and can do the math. Come with chemistry knowledge, it covers a lot!
Walk spends so much time on math but our tests were very heavily weighted on theory so if you don't understand the theory he barely covers you'll struggle. Hard to tell what will be emphasized on the midterms and final because of that. Lots of problem sets help with the math but... that's not the most helpful for his exams.
Having 4 exams and a final was too much in my opinion; we basically had an exam every 2 weeks. Exams emphasized concepts over math, even though lectures breezed through concepts and heavily emphasized math.
Although I didn't do well, I really appreciated having Walk for this class. I thought his exams were fair and his lectures were clear/recorded, but the final was horrible and much harder than the regular exams. I'm not sure if the hard final is normal for him, though. Overall, a doable class, but the amount of work you have to put in is a LOT.
Professor Walk's class was overall pretty good for me. His tests are extremely difficult, especially the final, but you will often have a good idea of what questions will be on it based on the lecture. He was a bit disorganized (last-minute office hour cancellations, late posting notes, etc.) but that was probably because he recently had a baby.
Was going to flame this professor harder until I saw my grade. The greater than, less than, or equal to conceptual questions are literal ape garbage bollocks. Would recommend Red Bull and instant coffee as a must-buy, back to school shopping for this class.
Intro Chem is hard regardless of who is teaching. Do not get behind like I did, and you will be alright. Our final was fair but skewed towards the things we learned at the end of the semester. This screwed me because I did not prepare for that section adequately, so with this class I really emphasize not getting behind.
Walk is a fantastic professor. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and goes out of his way to make the experience personal, even in a 100 person lecture. But you will absolutely have to put in the work. Take detailed notes, do the homework, and study in advance for the tests. Not even a STEM major and still loved it!
I really enjoyed Dr. Walk, he is a great lecturer and really engages with you during class. Despite the course being a bigger lecture class, he is super available and is quick to email back. Chem is a difficult class as a whole, I recommend doing a lot of extra homework problems and making sure you understand concepts. His exam questions are hard.
Walk was good. I kinda got bad vibes from him the whole time. Never went to him for extra help. After AP Chem this class wasn't the worst. Fair grader but made some mistakes. Overall I feel like this man is overhyped wayyyy too much but that doesn't change the fact that he is a solid prof and would take another one of his classes.
I took AP Chem in high school, and this class was def harder, but that's to be expected. Prof Walk was super nice and funny, and showed us pictures of his baby and pets a lot lol. I'd highly recommend him, esp if you're a freshman because he understands that you're going through a transition and tries to help how he can.
Professor Walk's fun personality made difficult lectures enjoyable. Lectures were sprinkled with mistakes which caused confusion before the final exam. Not very accessible outside of class. The final did not accurately represent the topics we spent the most time on or help session discussions. This class was valuable to my chemistry understanding.
Walk was an amazing professor and lecturer! He makes gen chem super engaging. Honestly confused by some of the other negative reviews. He gives practice exams before each test so you know what the format is going to be and what to expect. The tests were extremely fair if you study a decent amount and go to class. Extra points bc he shows baby pics.
Walk was a good professor and made everything clear until the final exam. I had a really good grade before it, however, the final was so much more difficult than everything that we had previously done and most of it was only on a very small part of the lectures. This caused my grade to plummet so if you take him beware of this.
Highly recommend printing out/filling out notes on iPad to follow along during class. HW is ez points if done early and you consult him or classmates. He purposely makes his exams predictable, so working the practice exams and going to review sessions is a must. Do ALL assigned optional textbook problems. Repetition really helped me succeed here.
Professor Walk is simply lovely. Chemistry is admittedly difficult but he makes it extremely accessible. Offers practice tests that are extremely accurate to the actual exam. If you put it 2 or 3 hours of studying in a week you will get an A. Cannot say enough kind things. Do be willing to work though, it's still intro chem!
Best gen chem teacher to take. I had him for T/Th classes at 8am, and his lecturing style makes the block go by superrrr quickly. Will tell you what to study directly for exams and holds extremely helpful review sessions. You can also just tell how passionate he is about the subject he's teaching, which makes learning easy.
This class was very average. He is a solid teacher but his final was so much harder than the midterms and he was not very empathetic to students after the final. He did however round the final grades which was very nice.
Prof Walk was clear and direct with his lectures and offered multiple resources (ie textbook problems, practice workbook, office hours) to help his students. His class was fast paced and dense but he made the material seem like it was easy (it wasn't). Def take his class either online or in person
Top tier chem professor. Take him if you can get his section. He is hilarious and the way he gives exams and materials to study for them is absolutely insane. He gives a redacted versions basically giving you the exam before you take it just with the specifics blacked out.
If you aren't a chemistry person, take Walk. He made me actually enjoy learning chem despite the pretty difficult concepts. Lectures felt like he was just having a conversation with us. His exams are fair, but even though he gives you the redacted version they can be rough. Do the hw and get klein to practice and read when you don't understand.
Walk is a very enjoyable lecturer and very passionate about chemistry, he is always willing to help. Orgo is hard, but he does his best to make it as easy as it could be. One of the best professors I've ever had
Walk really deeply cares for his students, is hilarious, and his lectures are easy to follow. He also teaches the class in a different, but more intuitive, order than other professors. I went into my first day in his class massively intimidated by orgo and left the semester with new confidence. He says some stuff tho I'm scared he's terminally ill
If you are taking Orgo, take it with Walk. His lectures are always funny and engaging, but better yet, he teaches chemistry in such an intuitive way. Rather than teach right out of the textbook, he takes time and effort to ensure that his students understand the "story of chemistry" and how everything relates. I couldn't recommend him enough.
Highly recommend Walk for orgo, loved his lecture style and he's very personable. Cares for his students and wants them to succeed. Provides lots of practice problems and is accessible outside of class
One of the best professors I have ever had. He is funny, explains tricky concepts flawlessly, and truly cares about his students. He teaches orgo as a story that builds on itself, so that it feels like he is merely revealing to you what you already know, rather than constantly learning new concepts. He ties fun stories with kids into lectures.
Fantastic professor; I learned so much!! While I would slightly rearrange the structure of the last third of the course, the class is still very doable. I recommend getting the Kline book---its explanations and problem types are very similar to his. The homework and OpenStax are okay, though often more complicated. I didn't take the lab, BTW.
Avoid, avoid
Enjoyed this class a lot---the material was tough to learn, but Prof. Walk made it super interesting and explained everything incredibly well. The exams can be pretty tough (I personally definitely didn't do great on some of them), but if you work hard in this class, your effort will pay off by the end. Prof. Walk clearly cares a lot.
Walk was a great lecturer and his tests were very fair. The only issue is that I don't feel prepared in Orgo 2. I don't think he set us up as well as other professors and I find myself needing to review things that people who had other Orgo 1 professors understand very well. If you don't need to take Orgo 2, IMO he's the definitely the best option
I had him last spring, my favorite professor at William and Mary still. Lectures aren't mandatory but he's great at explaining and funny so I recommend going. Material isn't too bad and he's great at explaining it if you need extra help.
