I took his class over the summer and it was not easy. About 7 out of 15 didn't pass. There are 4 exams multiple choice 60-70 questions, and an essay on the final. The questions are confusing. I don't advise you taking this class over the summer, unless you love reading or know the material. But overall I liked the class, very interesting and fun.

He is so sweet and funny. And he is so willing to help. Also, he grades his tests easier than most. For instance, when most people count each question as a point or two, he counts them at say, .40 points. On one of my tests, the scantron said 63%, but because of his point system, I really got an 83%. He's really awesome.

Dr. Hernandez is a really inspiring person, and he made the course tbh. He's super strict on allotting points to attendance and he grades written notes, so if you only do one thing then make sure you make it to the lectures! He notices and reciprocates if you acknowledge what he talks about, and if you're a nice person then you'll do fine.

Dr. Hernandez is truly inspiring, extremely passionate, and hilarious. His lectures are content heavy requiring lots of notes, and he wants you to read a lot, however his method of teaching is so great that going to class becomes entertaining and educational. I took this course in the Fall and as a mother, full-time worker and part-time student, this course was difficult. The instructor isn't organized and he posts a lot of PowerPoint presentations that go more in depth than the book. His tests were difficult to study for and he requires a lot of essays. If you're a FT student, this class is easy.
