GREAT TEACHER! He is a pretty funny dude who teaches very well and gives pretty minimal homework. The work is simple but teaches what needs to be taught, a lot of group work (you'll probably end up working with most of the students in the class). Provides a good amount of extra credit, and a very fun class to take. He is flexible if you communicate

Hella Funny, was nervous going into this class but first day he makes you feel welcomed. There are lots of group assignments but if you have a good group no need to worry. Exams are really easy if you study or do the study guides and sometimes he lets you even have a cheat sheet and tells you what you need to focus on.

Enjoyed his lectures and I'm an individual who dislikes lectures. The most important assignment was a business plan and he assigned everyone into groups. Not to mention you will do group activities averaging once every week You might have to read to do well on exams. Drops the lowest exam score. Offers extra credit towards the end of the semester.

His lectures were surprisingly engaging, despite my usual aversion to them. The focal point of the course was crafting a business plan, with the professor organizing students into groups for collaboration. Additionally, group activities were a regular occurrence, happening roughly once a week.

This is a really great class if you're just starting our your business journey. He answers any questions during lectures and the material is easy to understand. There's only 2 essays following APA format and I got an A on both. He's a really fun professor and I think if you're reading this you should 100% take the class.

Surprisingly one of my easier classes, as long as you try to show up everyday and get the work done you'll be good! There is daily quizzes which are multiple choice but he only gives 10 mins for 10 questions which i personally thought was a bit short but i got used to it, everything else was great. would take again

This professor is very understanding and supportive with things that happen, just make sure to let them know ahead of time if something comes up. Make sure you can make it to as many classes as possible, a lot of information is given for each lecture.

Absences are gonna hurt because he may assign pop quizzes during the first 10 minutes of class and they are password-locked. Loves to have group participations and will often raise the stakes by having the losers bring food. Assignments and tests are very easy, lots of opportunities for extra credit.

The papers have to be formatted in a certain away but overall, professor Ramirez is a great professor and great class!

If you don't like group projects this class isn't for you, there was 5 group projects for our class which didn't help my grade in some cases when other students were difficult to work with. If you're looking for a new class take revolving around litigation and regulation in the business world take this class . Mr.Ramirez is a super cool teacher that creates an engaging curriculum to learn from in ways that stick with you .

Attendance matters. Not many assignments but they are heavily weighted.

A professor that makes class feel worth it

Overall a great professor who seems to really care for both the subject and students of the class. A very understanding professor that is willing to help and work with you, even when circumstances appear very messy. Definitely a professor I would take on again.

Dr. Ramirez is super funny and always making jokes. We do a lot of educational games, group projects, and a few presentations to help us build our skills for the business world.

Great professor, took him for ba-113 as a first yr college student and he helped me learn the course clearly and gain a new understanding of the material. Would always give students feedback on every assignment and was very clear about the rubric and structure even goes over it to show the students exactly what he expects.

Took back to back semesters with Dr. Ramirez, BA-100 and BA-113, enjoyed both semesters thoroughly. The class has relatively few assignments throughout the semester, but they weigh heavy, so you can't really miss them. Class is super easy to pass as long as you have proper time management, and stay on top of the assignments.

Great teacher. Lots of group assignments. Not recommended for those who don't like to study or read textbooks.

Professor Ramirez is a great professor. Most his classes are just straight lectures, and attending class is a must because you will be dropped if you miss more than 4 classes, so be there, but the class it's self was fairly easy. 10 quizzes, 2 case studies and around like 4-5ish group assignments.

Professor Ramirez is very knowledgeable about Business Law and gets his point across every class. The amount of group projects may be intimidating, but they are fun and in business it is essential to collaborate. It's a class that properly prepares you for what will happen in the business world. It'll help you get over your fears of presentations.

Great Professor! This class, there are a lot of chapters but he explains them well, helps with questions and having access to the note and textbook helps. Quizzes aren't bad, take good notes and you will be fine. Group assignments were cool, the competitive ones were the most fun. Homework isn't too bad, usually once a week. Overall great professor

Good teacher , fair grading course material provided

Beware of pop quizzes if you're late then you missabout 14 points per quiz. Has a lot of group projects so be mindful of that. Majority of the extra credit given comes as add one to the group project. Along as you study and turn in assignments on-time you should be able to scrap together a C.

Professor Ramirez is honestly amazing professor. He makes the class feel super comfortable and always make sure everyone is involved in the class lectures. He makes understanding difficult lectures easy. You can tell He really cares about class. He is one of my favorite professor.

He is somewhat of a harsh grader but it's very clear what is needed to be done.

Professor Ramirez is an excellent teacher and person in general. He gives extra credit so if you need a boost it's there. But don't relay on it heavy. He also gives out group projects that are fun and interesting. He also has group activities during class and it's more like a game show. The people in my class were great and meet a lot of people.

Professor Ramirez is someone who often encourages people to work together through group projects. He also is just a chill guy. There's not much else for me to say since he's just a good Professor.

He was a very funny professor, always related the topic we were learning to him. He gives very good examples from his life and makes it easier to understand subjects. It was easy since he lectured and let us use notes for pop quizzes. Overall, if you want an easy class and funny professor take him i guess..

Great class, pretty easy to get a good grade if you do all the assignments and do all the extra credit opportunities he gives. A lot of group projects as well.

Honestly, this class can be somewhat difficult because it covers a lot of topics and makes you make an effort, but the teacher's way of teaching makes him fun, one of the best classes I've ever had, without a doubt I would take another class with Professor Jorge Ramirez

He's a talker, but it's relevant stuff. A lot of it was oddly inspirational. Solid unsolicited advice about life. One thing I would warn y'all of is that there's a big group project that you will be working on for basically the entire semester with the same people. They can bring you down (how far varies) so watch out for that.

Really good at explaining the instructions for assignments

He is an outstanding professor who truly knows how to engage his students and make every class session feel meaningful. From the moment you walk into his classroom, you can tell he cares deeply about the subject and about the people he is teaching. One of the things that makes him stand out the most is his storytelling.

Very fun class and as long as you stay consistent you'll pass.
