professor saab, makes you feel like you need to be at class at all time and on time, he is off the hook

He's the best professor I've had so far at York. He wants you to learn the language and also the culture and history behind the language. His exams are fair and you need only to study the material he gives and you will get the grade you deserve. Calls on students to keep you on the ball. Knows all his students by name. Great teacher!

I have never in my College career experienced a professor that was so willing to help his students. Prof Saab is so determined in making sure everyone learns the material and is willing to stick on one topic until everyone gets it. I would recommend him to EVERYONE. He's by far one of the best professors teaching at York.

Hi is a great professor. You do not only learn spanish but also have fun and enjoy doing it. I took him for spanish 101 and 102 would recommend best professor in york college. When the semester is almost ending he takes you to a restaurant to experienc first hand to order in spanish. You would love this class.

Professor Saab is one of the only professors who shows passion in what they teach since I transferred to York. He is extremely patient when it comes to slower-paced students, he makes sure that each student is on the same track, he's not there to just give us a grade, he is preparing us for the future since spanish will be the majority language.

I took his winter class for 4 hrs per day M-F. At 1st I thought it was going to be boring, but Prof. Saab made it to be so interesting, it felt wrong not going to school on the weekends. His techniques for teaching is amazing, and he is full of stories. He also took the class for dinner at an spanish restaurant.

Professor Jorge Saab is patient and explains text well with more than one examples.he also repeats himself so you can follow. he always ask if you have questions before he moves on to a next topic.he also goes over homework which is very helpful to me.i think he is a very good Professor. oh! did i mentioned he is also funny.

Profesor Jorge is a wonderful teacher. He explains step by step every single rule in the spanish language. He won't move forward unless every student fully master teh topic being discussed. If you really want to learn spanish and understand the grammar parts, Profesor Jorge is definitely the one you want to take. Take him, you won't regret.

Professor Saab is a GOOD prof. I had him for Span 101 and took him for 102. Prior, I didn't know Spanish and because of Prof. Saab I can now speak and understand the language. Best professor I've had at york. This guy really cares about his students and he makes Spanish fun especially with his jokes. I would advise anyone to take him for 101,102 or 110. I took someone else for Spanish 102 and I preferred Saab's teaching methods because he gives alot of additional information (such as cultural etc) in addition to the text so you have a deeper understanding of the language!

I took this professor in fall of 2017 and he was a great. He shows that cares about his students tremendously and his passion for his students to understand the language really shows. He does take the extra time in class to explain himself clearly and make sure everyone is on the same page. I highly recommend!

Prof. Jo Saab is a very good professor. he gives like 13 to 14 homework but its due at the end of the semester. he gives about 2 to 3 extra credit that can be added to whichever exam u want it to be on. He's fun and also he can answer one question a thousand time yet won't give an attitude. I wish if he could teach Spanish 102. Take him!

Prof. Saab is a very caring teacher & always has a story to tell in relation to his lectures. Be prepared to read the required text though(Panorama). Homework is given on VHL super-site(online). There is a review before each test(which is very helpful),and a mandatory cultural event to visit & order food a restaurant. Participate & you will be good

Prof Saab was decent, you can learn a lot from his lectures because he uses examples. He also cracks lots jokes to add humor to his lectures. He is a decent grader. If you study and score high on his exams, you will get a good grade.

Be aware, his accent can make things difficult at times and his hand writing is not good. Do all the homework and come to every class. SPAN 101 I must say Prof Saab is a great profressor to take for Spanish. He really takes the time out to make sure you understand what you are doing. This is a no non-sense class that if serious about your studies you will truly enjoy. If you believe that you can just show up when you feel like it, moreover, walk out mid-class and still get a high grade you have another thing coming.
