Taboada is a great teacher. He helps an enormous amount and goes over everything so you really get it. There is no reason why you shouldn't get an A in his class

Taboada is awesome and innocently funny. He makes normal words and phrases sound funny. A very nice guy. He explains the material very well. I took his 6-week class and it was extremely easy. He gives you 10 extra points in your test if you do the textbook homework. Mandatory online homework worth doing as it is worth the same as a test grade.

Awesome teacher! He can go a little fast sometimes but his study guides helped me understand the material much better. Study guides are similar to tests so you know what to expect. Would recommend.

I am so happy that I took him for MAT1033. I am horrible at math, but he made it seem sooo easy to understand everything and he helps you if you don't. do the hw for extra cred towards test, test are just like the reviews, and you'll enjoy the class! i promise you, you won't regret this class, easy A for you!

This class is hard to do poorly in. The homework is all extra credit, ten points on your test so take advantage of that. He gives a review for the test which are very similar to the test. He was very good in the beginning at instruction but kind of fell short towards the end in matrices. He is there to help you. Yu will need the book for hw

Prof. Taboada was a God sent, for me. I came back after 20 years and was absolutely lost. He was available for extra help, he assigned extra credit and he is patient and wants all the students to do well. You will get an A if you really want it. He is a fantastic Professor!!!

Professor Jorge Taboada is the BEST math professor for Broward College, he deserves an award. I was horrible in math until I took a math course with him. I learned so much for him. He is so patient. He makes sure you understand everything. If you want to learn and not feel stressed please take this professor. HE IS THE BEST!!!

Although there are only 4 tests for your entire grade, if you pay attention everything is explained in great detail; never a surprise on tests. He's also very approachable.

The nicest, funniest, most generous professor you will ever have in college. Handwrites all of the notes for you and explains every single problem as many times as you need. Stays after class to help you and gives a review JUST LIKE THE TEST. If you miss a class, he will be more than happy to help you catch up. I highly recommend him for any class!

BEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER!!!!!!! This class one of my most laid back class for the semester. i took this class along with 5 other classes. He gives 3 exams and if you passed all 3 you wont have to take the final. also gives 10 points extra credit per for each test when you turn in the hw.

He is the best professor I had since coming to this College. Math was my weakest subject, but he made me love it and I am very happy. From I started taking the Tests and doing the homework, Ive been getting an A. Take this Professor, he is the best. He has the students best interest at heart. Easy A if you do the homework which sometimes may seem overwhelming. Need to complete at least 70% of Aleks online. If you've done MAT0028 pretty much a repetition with a few extras. He gives a review prior to the test and basically is very similar to the test. Lets U use a cheat sheet so you can't go wrong. Strong Spanish accent though but great.

He is the easiest math teacher ever! I really wish he taught statistics or business calculus. All you basically have to do is complete 70% of aleks which he gives you the whole semester to do and take the 4 test. For the test he lets you bring a cheat sheet and even for the final as well.

This is the best math teacher alive! Very nice and easy to understand.. I never got less than a 95 on my test! He's very one-on-one.. I passed with an A, it is impossible to fail. Ok so I have taken mat1033 twice and have had to withdraw both times because math is just not my subject. I wish I would've known this professor existed when I first enrolled at BC. Where can I start with Professor Taboada! He's an amazing man. He clearly doesn't want to fail any of his students. Gives extra credit it will help you on the test if you're not a good test taker! Most of his test the questions are on the study guide he just changes numbers. On all 4 test I got over 100% because of the extra credit! Hes Amazing!

Professor Taboada is an amazing teacher ! I took Mat 1103 and MAC1105 with him and it was the clearest math teacher I've ever had. Homework is extra credit, test are easy if you study the study guide. TAKE HIM !!!

He offers a substantial amount of extra credit and his test review sheets are amazing he works out the problem for you in the test review packet. The test are not hard at all. Just do your aleks, study via the review sheet and you will pass the class. If you're not good in math study HARDER! He is the best. I'm taking him again for MGF!

This professor was a cool guy and funny at times. Lectures are kind of boring and confusing but it's worth it. All homework is extra credit. 4/5 tests are exactly the same as the study guide, final is take home. If you suck at math you MUST take this professor!!!!!!

If you study the study guides there's no way you can fail the test. He also has YouTube videos to show you how to solve a problem. He offers about 40 extra credit points if you do the homework. He is the ONLY professor that I would ever take on a Saturday. His classes fills up quickly for a reason. I recommend!

One of the best math professors I've ever had! His lectures are clear, study guides are straight to the point, and YouTube lectures are VERY helpful. He also gives extra credit HW for you to boost your grade. Show up to class, do the extra credit, study your review, & ask questions if in doubt. Only Saturday class worth it!!

Easiest math professor I high recommended him for students who struggle with Math. He gives extra credit which is used for exams, and the homework is Math Lab which is simple just a lot and time consuming. He gives reviews for all the test , which are exactly the same questions but different numbers. Overall awesome professor !

My favorite Professor at Broward College. He is patient and will ensure everyone has a clear understanding before moving to next problem. Clear grading scale and lectures are like test. If you attend class you will pass. He is extremely funny and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure going to his class on a Saturday morning. I wish he taught sta2023.

I suck at math, so I'm happy that I took him. He was recommended to me by a classmate. If you don't understand he will take his time to explain the topic to you again. This professor is heaven sent. I have always prayed to pass math classes with a C and I'm happy to say that I may actually get an A in his class. I dont regret having to drive to Miramar every Saturday morning just to take him. I would recommend him to anyone who has math challenges. I promise you wont regret it.

(MGF1106 and MGF1107)He is the best teacher I ever had!! He has the ability to help all of this students in many different ways from extra instruction, credit , notes and video's. I would take him again and again. I was not very good in math but he made it possible, take him you won't regret it .

I took him for MAT1033,MGF1106,MGF1107. Where ever he went, I followed. He is worth getting out of your bed on a Saturday. He gives you study worksheets and he even records himself on YouTube to help you with the study guides. We had two in class projects that went towards as extra credit for our test. He is nearly a Cuban God. A gem!!

I failed MAT1033 the first time with a different professor I'm taking him now and I'm registered for him again for MAC1105 easy A or B only ALEKS is time-consuming but you can use mathway he only wants you to do 70% of it. You have 4 test and a final he give you a test review a day before and he go over it as well.

By far one of the best math professors in Broward College. Let me tell you, Differentials of Equations is not easy, but he will do everything in his power to help you pass. Gives tons of extra credit and will help you outside of class and through emails. No homework, no quizzes, no final, just 4 tests. Do the extra credit and its an easy A!

He's an engineer and he's extremely smart, so once you get past the thick cuban accent you're fine. He lets you bring in notes/book for the tests. Diff. Eq. is a tough course, but he makes it a lot easier. Only problem is if you like to do HW at home from the book he doesn't really know what section you should study. But still, AMAZING PROFESSOR!!!

Definitely wants you to pass. Do the study guides and take notes in class and you'll do fine. The first 2 tests, 10 questions each, pick five. The second 2 are takehome, but you must do all the questions. His accent is strong but math is universal. Just copy wants on the board and you won't be lost. Ask questions in class! He's eager to help :)

Great professor, I am terrible at math and he gives you every opportunity to pass! test reviews which are basically the same as the test, scientific calc use during test and extra credit. Take him if you need to pass and are not so great at math.

I personally despise math and everything to do with it, but this is the FIRST time I've gotten a 100 on a math test. He has a heavy Cuban accent, but he means well and hes one of the best math professors IMO. So far I have a B after 2 tests hopefully I pass but if you struggle or even if you're good at math. This is my second attempt taking this class first time in college I passed mat1033 with an A this guy is a amazing take him do not think twice his test are multiply choices super easy class I wanted to take him for college algebra but his class got full so fast the first day of registration now I am praying my college algebra teacher good.

If you take this class and do not pass something is wrong. This professor is the best on campus. I failed Mat 0028. So I skipped it and went to Mat 1033 with this professor and I passed with an A. I was terrible at Alek is a must home work is optional. He help you with the review and the tests are all breeze. Trust me, take him you must pass.

This classes is amazing.I wish I was able to take all of my math classes for college with him. He has a way of teaching that is so different from anyone but is very effective. Even if you do not understand by the end of the class he always has time for his students outside of class. He is a "complicated man" but he is so down to earth & lovable.

At first I was a little nervous taking his class, but he was amazing! Do the homework throughout the semester even though its due at the end of the term cause theres a lot. I took professor Taboada for 1106 and 1107. Thats how awesome he is. Very knowledgeable and is always willing to help if you dont understand something. Tests are only 20 questions, all multiple choice and are very similar to test reviews and gives extra credit. Overall a great professor. Take him. Easy A.

Professor Taboada, Is an amazing teacher his lessons are easy to follow and he is hilarious. If you are having troubles with the classwork then he will gladly go over the questions with you and if you simply don't have the time he has a YouTube channel which he explains how to solve a problem step by step. For MAT1033 Aleks work is required.
