It is extremely easy to pass his class as long as you know how to use a calculator properly and write down a few formulas on his cheat sheet. Im so happy I picked prof taboada! He really cares if you understand the material and hes always asking if you understand. I wish all the Miami dade professors were like him. Theres no professors left like him! Im going to take the hesi knowing he taught me well. Thanks Profe for an amazing semester and making a hard subject to understand.

Do the homework, 10 points are added to test grades. Only have one chance to redeem yourself by taking the Fifth exam which will replace the lowest grade of the 4 exams your going to take

He taught the material very well and a very easy grader. I found him to be quite hilarious and very relatable.

This professor is great one of the best I would have to say. He will help you if you are not doing so well in his class. After each class he always lets students know about his office hours and helps students after class is over.

I'm currently attending FAU but I've took this professor three times at BC for intermediate algebra, college algebra & liberal art math. I got A in all three classes & this is coming from a person who sucks at math. I need statistics & I'm a transient student at BC for the summer and I was hoping he was available but his not. His the best at BC!

Show up, listen to his lectures. If you miss class, he has a youtube of his lectures. He does a review of the test material right before his tests and lets you bring a "cheat sheet" to use during tests. He lets you redo 1 test if you fail it. Easiest and nicest teacher.

Amazing teacher honestly. I took MAT1103/College Algebra(2 in 1) class with this professor and hes such a dedicated person. He actually want the students to pass no matter what. He will go over a review for each exam and the exam is exactly the same as the review exam, except different numbers. He also allow cheat sheets, but honestly u dont need

Great proffesor i suck at math and passed his class with an A he allows a cheat sheet on each test he lets yu makeup failed test he has an optional final which makes up your lowest test score if you fail this class its because you didnt try.

I was honestly expecting the worst of the worst. But I was completely wrong!! This professor is honestly a sweetheart! He helps everyone to completely pass every single test he gives. There's no way possible for you to fail this class. If you bring your computer every day to class and practice with the study guide he gives you, it's a automatic A.

Simply the best! He's a professor that truly cares about his students understanding the material. If you don't know something, he'll explain it until you understand it. His reviews before exams are great as well. Not enough characters on here can describe how helpful and amazing he is. He just explains math in a way that you understand clearly!

This professor, is really funny and chill. He is there before class and willing to offer help. hIs lectures are short and clear. Before ever test he offers study guides to help on the test and the study guides are identical to the test. I would really recommend taking this class again with this professor.

Professor Taboada is really nice and his assignments are EASY !Homework is extra credit NOT mandatory and short 20-30 max with 2-3 weeks to complete them. There are 2 test for each chapter one on aleks and one on paper none of which are proctored and he gives you 3-4 days to turn in the test ! I would definitely recommend taking his class !

Professor Taboada is a great professor. his homework is optional so you really only have to do two exams every 2 weeks or so. if u pay attention, you'll do fine on the exams. he asks that you show work on the exams but thats it. great attitude and even funny

Professor Taboada is excellent! The questions in the exam are very straight forward. He is the absolute best!

He's awesome! I recommend taking him. The homework is optional and before the exams he gives a study guide and the exams are identical. Literally the same type of questions and just with different numbers. He also goes over the study guide so that you know how to do it. Overall, he just makes the class really easy, so take him!! Won't regret it!!!!

Mr. Taboada is a fantastic professor, very kind and dedicated. He helped me immensely, and I learned a lot from him. I can say that he is the best professor I have had. I will 100% recommend him and retake him if possible.

If you have math anxiety, there is no better teacher than professor Taboada. He explains the material effortlessly and simplistic; Grade-wise there are only tests which he dedicates multiple classes for review right before.

Amazing professor. He knows that his students have lives and gives you a lot of time to do assignments. On top of that, he gives you two attempts on exams and they are not proctored at all. He posts the class recordings on YouTube which is very helpful for reviewing and just learning in general. I would recommend, he explains everything clearly.

This course has been an amazing experience. Professor Taboada cares about his students. His lectures are very understandable. He also records every class and posts them on Blackboard, YouTube and he sends them via email so we don't miss any material. Homeworks are extra credit. The class is based on 4 Online and 4 Written Exams.

Professor Taboada is amazing! He is super understanding and knowlegable. He records his lectures, perfect if you miss a lecture or for studyig. A lot of HW but easy. Four exams and he does reviews for them each. No midterm and the final was optional for us. All Online. As long as you do the work, you'll pass along with the extra credit he gives.

I don't use to rate professors but he totally deserves it. I had him for Mac 2311 tutoring sessions and he was the best tutor a student could have. If you are interested he takes you to success. He is the type of professor that knows how to explain math in a non abstract way. 100% recommended.

This professor makes sure that you learn Calculus 3. Best professor for Calculus I have ever had.

Very good professor. He goes over the concepts clearly and will answer any questions you may have. He gives reviews for every test and does them in class, and it is very similar to the actual test.

I took Professor Taboada for Calc II tutoring sessions and he is the best. He cares for students and does everything in his power to help you to understand the content. If you are interested in learning, you are going to take an A with him. Best Professor ever.

Super easy! As long as you complete your homework on ALEKS (you must purchase), follow along with the lessons, & listen to his reviews, you will be fine with the tests. I took this as an MDC Live course and I didn't need to have my camera on.

Very understanding prof, he records each lecture and uploads it to Youtube. There are a total of 4 tests broken up, one is by paper and the other online. The final is optional. He gives long study guides that he goes over in class, and they are very similar to the tests. It took me a while to get used to the "Spanglish" but I would take him again!

Best math teacher.

I took a 12 week course online/Live. Professor Taboada is very knowledgeable and helpful. There were 10 graded tests, 5 online fill in or graph and 5 hand written show all steps. Lectures are recorded so if you miss you can watch later. Show up though and participate by responding when he asks. Problems? Talk to him, he will help.

I'd say this professor is pretty decent. He shows that he cares and hes willing to help with anything you do. H e is also willing to extend due dates for his students. He does have an accent so it could be hard to understand. The class is tedious but as long as you pay attention and study, you'll be fine.

With clear passion they ensure that you pass the class, letting you know that if you need extra time to complete a lesson due to excused absences they will ensure to teach you the subject before making you take the exam. He gives a fair opportunity to all students because he knows that his subject can be learned by everyone.

Professor Taboada is an exceptional professor. Once teaching a topic , he ensures his students understand before moving forward to the next topic, he encourages you to believe in your self. As many think Math 1033 is hard and scary , professor Taboada will take away all fear and ensures himself to teach you all the way through. 10/10!!

I highly recommend anyone needing to take Mac1033, to take it with Professor Taboada. He has a passion for teaching math. Makes the class a lot of fun. Dr. Taboada is spectacular; he is always open to help and answers all your questions. He has a great heart and personality. I can't tell you the number of times we laughed together. I enjoyed taking MAC 1105 with him this summer. It was a short and fast class but he made it easy and enjoyable. I rate him a 100/100.

Amazing professor. If you want to learn and genuinely feel like you are not wasting your time, take his classes!!! the classes are long but he goes over EVERYTHING and is super helpful. He truly cares about his students success and his main goal is for his students to understand. You won't even have time to be bored. I recommend him to everyone!!!!

Taboada is more than willing to help even with other class math homework. He had to break things down for me, but never once made me feel bad about it.

The class was very easy to follow, the lectures are clear and concise and he hands out practice exams. He goes over it so you're very prepared for the exams so long as you show up to class. Attendance isn't really mandatory he doesn't give a grade for it, but I suggest showing up to class since the exam is based off what we went over during class.

This professor is 10/10!!! Best math professor I have taken at Miami Dade. He is super knowledgeable about his subject and wants everyone to pass. There are opportunities for extra credit and he always responds to emails immediately. He always says every question is a good question and never makes you feel bad for not understanding. Super funny guy. His lectures can be long but he makes it entertaining for his students.

This professor is passionate about his subject and it shows. He wants everyone to pass. Plenty of opportunities to pass but if you don't put in the effort obviously you won't do well. His tests are super easy since he reviews the study guide with the class.

He is an excellent progessor. Without a doubt, I want all my math classes with him. He has patience and explains everything slowly. You can always ask outside of class. If you have doubts when studying, sending it to an email is enough because he responds the same day. It also gives many extra credit opportunities

This is the best mathematics professor in all of Miami Dade College. I highly suggest taking his class. You will not regret it one bit. One hundred percent the best professor I have had in my two years at mdc.

Professor Toaboada not only has the expertise, but he's an excellent educator. He's methodic and organized. He makes sure the explanations are clear and is always available for questions. Before each test, he gives a review, which is excellent preparation material. He motivated me to participate in an integral competition, and I won 2nd place :)

I've had this professor since college algebra, pre-calc, and now calculus 1. His teaching is clear and concise, the grading is generous too. If he sees you try your best, don't worry you will pass the class.

Professor Taboada is an amazing math teacher. His passion for the subject is contagious, and he genuinely cares about his students' success. While the class can be challenging, he makes it enjoyable and provides plenty of support. I found Unstuck study and the free textbook super helpful for preparing.

Professor Taboada is amazing! The reviews didn't lie. He GENUINELY cares for his students and says he is available 24/7 to help. He gives 10 tests (5 written & 5 online). His lectures are great and he really explains the material really well. He does have a heavy accent so it can be hard to understand him at times but otherwise, he's great! :)

Professor started off intimidating and fast paced, but after getting through the first test falls into a rhythm. Homework topics aren't always inline with the class topics, but it comes together before the tests. The professor takes time to fully review before the tests and the professor is a generous grader.

He is a wonderful professor. If you speak Spanish, you'll love his humor. He takes it slow for anyone who needs help. If you need further assistance, stay after class or email him! If you need extra time on an assignment, let him know; he does extensions. I've had him for two semesters, and I'd have him again if my career map would let me lol.
