Professor himself was nice enough. Only 6 tests, drops the lowest. The lectures and free textbook he provided all made perfect sense, but the exams were extremely difficult, even though they were open book. I wish that our grades weren't just based off the exams, it isn't fair to people who aren't the best test takers.

Tests are difficult, but passable. I would suggest reading all the chapters assigned and looking at the material posted under modules. There are tons of extra credit opportunities, which really helped my grade. The professor is very understanding and passionate about econ.

Challenging course, but Prof. Rodriguez makes it manageable. Utilize the free textbook, attend lectures, and leverage resources like unstuck AI for study prep. Fair grading if you put in the work.

Hello! The professor's lectures differ from the exam content, with assignments not aligning with the exam questions. The majority of questions were unclear or lacking context, making the class failing. The professor does not allow retakes and the entire class is failing, making it unsuitable for acceptance.

The class itself is really hard, but Professor Rodriguez is amazing. he makes sure his students understand the material and is patient, he will explain the material till you get it if you ask. He also gives a lot of extra credit assignments that help boost your grade. took him for 201 and 202, extremely recommend.

He writes his own tests and has vague answers. He asked us what the cost benefit of a $300 gym membership was and the right answer was apparently that you would save money at the doctors. He said most people got that wrong and that meant we were not understanding the information, but that was just a stupid oddly specific question

Hes a nice human. He's pretty hard to understand during lectures, which of course isn't his fault. He was merciful with grading and I enjoyed having him.

Overall I enjoyed his class, however the way the class is graded can be very stressful. All tests combined are 90% of the final grade. So do not take this professor if you struggle with test taking. His tests are also all online (with lockdown browser) and have to be done on your own time. Attendance is not mandatory but used for extra credit.

Prof. Rodriguez put a lot of effort into making a very organized and manageable course. Great lectures, easy to reach out to, and genuinely cares about his students. Tests are 90% of the grade (open-note & online w/ lockdown browser). A lot of extra-credit opportunities, including attendance. A 75%+ final exam grade replaces your worst unit exam.

His lectures were always very informative, and I genuinely learned useful things from him that would benefit me in real life. If your bad at taking tests however I would look somewhere else. However his grading with attendance as well as getting a bad exam replaced by the final if you get 75% or over is very useful and makes it easy to pass.
