Extremely helpful! Can be a bit tough but you def learn from his class. Pretty funny too sometimes.

Had him last semester and miss him so much. He was awesome. Very helpful and great all around. No complaints for this semester so far but miss his overall teaching, professionalism and subtle jokes. Take him if you have the chance.

The course is pretty hard but he makes it easy to understand. Very professional and handles the class with ease. Hope to get him for 213 next semester minus some of my classmates...lol

I had him for second semester spanish. (whatever that course number is) I learned a lot from him, he's VERY patient and overall a very nice guy. I agree with other comments.. just showing up isn't enough.. he makes you work for your A! I hate Spanish, but I'd take him again just because he's so hot! :)

Great Professor!!! Tests were not that easy, but if you pay attention you should have no prob. Took him in the summer and it was a great class. Fair warning, he made us have a conversation in spanish in front of the class. Even that was not to bad. He is patient and very clear. Take the class if you can.

Awesome teacher, took him over the summer for 213 which was very intense, but he is very patient. There was an oral presentation at the end but it really wasnt bad. Stick it out if it seems to intense at the beginning, its gets easier. Very fair grader, would definitly take him again :)

REALLY hard class but REALLY helpful and funny. Makes the time go by fast but he doesnt let up so u better pay attention and keep up. Had to really earn my B+ and it wasnt easy.

I agree. Great Prof! Really helpful but you have to earn your grade. I had him for 2 semesters and he's always on the mark. He's upfront and prepares you well for everything that comes up including the next semester.

Have to thank him for a great semester. Took difficult work and made it as easy as he could. He seems to have a very busy schedule yet always makes time if you ask. Hope to have him again for the next level. Be ready to work or you wont do well. He helps but also expects you to work independently b/c you cant just learn in class for 1hr and a half

REALLY NICE! Very intense summer class though. A lot of work but he makes everything easy. Just be willing to be called on EVERY day more than once. But at least he makes you feel comfortable in class...and watch out...he knows your name after the FIRST day...CRAZY!!! LOL

Extremely helpful, very endearing, and a fair grader. Exams and assignments cover the material that is taught in class, and are very simple if you pay attention during class sessions. He does everything within reasonable limits to ensure that you pass the course, but if you don't have the discipline to actually study, he can't help you.

Great Prof for the winter. Really good if you do what you're supposed to do. He's tough but very easy if you pay attention. Try spell check before you post bad comments. LOL.

Okay I had him in high school and he's the best Spanish teacher ever! I always flunked Spanish besides with him and Professor Gonzalez. They make you want to be there. He's nice ask him anything and he will help you. Every time I had him I received an A and top of all the Spanish classes. I was always excited to learn in his class and I hate school

Is an awesome teacher! He is an all around great guy. He is very helpful in person, or via email. He is also patient. I taking 213 with him now. He knows every students name after the 2nd day of class. That is great since that is something that rarely happens in college. He explains the subject well, and gives great notes. I highly recommend him!!

AWESOME TEACHER! Took him Summer 2010, I was never confused and he was very thorough and personable. Overall a great experience. Wish all college profs were like him. This guy has such an ease about him that makes the class flow. Good guy overall.

Took his Saturday class and was tough but very clear. Made the LONG class go by quickly. Just participate, do the homework and study from the practice tests and you're guaranteed a good grade. Really nice guy and really patient if you're trying.

Great Professor! All i new in spanish was to count form 1 to 10. But when i took Spanish 113 with him, i got a 38% on the first exam which made me slightly believe i wouldn't do well in the cousre. Miraculously i got a B+ for the course. If you want to pass the cousre do all the online assignments for practice and grading along with tutorial help.

Best professor at CSI. So helpful and clear to understand especially when learning a different language. Take him for all the spanish courses you need and you will pass with flying colors!

Very good professor. He's very clear in what he wants us to do and helps you along the way if you get stuck. He creates an atmosphere where even if you're wrong, you won't feel bad.

He is willing to help you and doesn't make you feel bad when you're wrong. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something. Very nice and is fair with grading. I took him for two semesters and got an A both times. You definitely need the textbook, it counts as participation. Tests are based on exactly what was taught in class.

i thoroughly enjoyed taking this professor! he is very thorough in what is expected of you, the only thing that threw me off sometimes is when he'd only give us 5 minutes to work on an exercise that we had just learned. he really appreciates participation and will call on you if he needs participants! lots of pearson work

He really cares about his students. He is very clear about what he puts on tests and when homework is due. Do all the Pearson work, it boosts your grade even if test scores are bad. Just do the work and you'll get a good grade. He's very understanding and helpful. Also, the grade you have in his class is available 24/7 which is nice.

Incredible professor. Best one I've had especially coming back to in person. Clear on what he expects and if you do everything he tells you to do he holds up to his end. Took advantage of some tutoring and that helped. Lots of Pearson but definitely helped my grade overall. Wish he was teaching the next level. Loved him and his class.

Best around! Anyone who doesnt love this guy probably isn't doing any work. Pushes you to want to do great and want to learn Spanish and really looks out for you. Never really liked learning languages but he made it easy to understand and bearable. Try not to miss classes and do tutoring. It's worth it.

Great guy. Really helped and gave everyone a chance to pass. Doesnt mess around with late hws but they werent bad once you actually do them. Wish he was teaching the next levels cause I would def take him again.
