Giving points and grades does a disservice to the students. Upper level professors will expect alot more from you. Will you prepared? He should giv you the real grade that you earn. oh alright some points but not 20. when you flunk out or have a hard time in other courses you will know why

this is the best biology teacher i have ever had. he is funny, easy to understand. i always fall asleep in my classes at least once in a semester. however, last time i was in his class i did not fall asleep at all. the reason why is that he makes biology very easy to understand and fun. highly, highly recommended.

Prof. Chestnut really cares about you learning and how well you learn the material. He does not feel comfortable teaching a class of students who are not comfortable with what they are learning.

I have not had a better prof. in ECC than Chestnut. He knows how to interact with his students and makes the enviroment more relaxed. You have to study and read the book but he works with you and gives you every opporturnity to do well. I earned my highest grade ever in a science class and its al thanx for him.

Chestnut is simply the best Anatomy Professor in Essex. He makes it easier for one to understand the material by keeping you interested on the subject. He does talk alot about other things, but thats what makes the class fun. I Personally loved it, and im taking him for A&P 122 as well.

Love this Professor, if you;re interested in the course, it'll be even more fun than usual. He's very helpful, even though it took me like 3 weeks to understand the accent. He's the best professor to take for anything in the Sciences and he actually cares if you pass of fail unlike some people. His tests are really insightful and they help you.

He was an excellent instructor. His knowledge far exceeded what the textbook or course outline covered. He incorporated life lessons that made this otherwise dry subject exciting. He provided real-world examples to provide clarity to scientific and latin terminology. We had helpful review sessions that prepared us for tests.

If you can zone out the joking around you will learn a lot about A+P. But you HAVE TO prepare for his exams. Some say its an easy A, but don't be fooled! This man is literally a walking Angel. Took him 3 semester in a row (For Different Courses). He really cares about his students and makes sure we all pass. He even calls you if u're absent or late. Even after the semester was over he took the time to help and guide me to take the right courses.. he's the besstttttttt! I really recommend him.

Jose Chesnut is your ride to success. Bio 121&122 is an extremely hard subject,however it breaks it down to the bare minimum for even a baby to understand it. He's always ready to help at any given time. It's impossible to fail his class.

Chestnut taught my mother back in the 90's, she actually recommended him to me. I am glad I took my mother's advice because Chestnut is a very caring man that will go out of his way just to make sure his students understand the material. He is 100% RECOMMENDED! He does have an accent but if you took the required bios to be in this class you should understand him. I had him for pharmacology quizzes and tests were all online. He's a great professor. He helped me so much last semester!! I cant thank him enough for what he did for me. When my chemistry professor said no to me when I gave her my accommodations letter, he was right there and he was the one who gave me what I desperately needed. I really want to take one of his classes someday! Whenever I think of what happened, it makes me cry.

He is very silly, although I must admit its not everyones cup of tea. However, very passionate about helping students succeed in their academic careers. Write down the topic he touches on in class, highlight them in your book, read, take the quiz to further test your knowledge, and you will get an A. Quiz questions are on the exams.

I was very nervous on the first day of class because Biology sounded so difficult. But it was a piece of cake. Do the work, participate, come to class and be respectful to the professor and students and you will pass smoothly. He Is WONDERFUL!

Professor has an accent but let me tell you just pay close attention in class and make sure you come to class prepared, also he lets you retake your test if you have below 80%, he is very understanding and you just have to be participating in class and you will be good trust me, and also be respectful.
