Easy class, just read the book & do the questions in the end of the chapter. He talks a lot, and it gets boring at times, but it's an easy A.

This is the easiest class ever. All you have to do is come to class, listen to him and study the powerpoint. All tests questions come from the powerpoint you do not need a book. If you need an easy A take him you will not regret it:)

He's great! Though I had him for college survival, you can tell he knows his psychology and even incorporates it in his survival class. He's very nice and I can honestly say that I miss him. When I take psychology I'll definitely be taking it with him.

Although this professor is a psychology teacher he does well in this college survival class. i mean he works with what he can basically because the class is just simple. introduction to new responsibilities and rights and morals in college. I like his class, in fact i actually enjoyed it.

Prof. Guntin creates a fun, productive learning environment with his intriguing lectures and power points. He encourages group-work and he also offers extra credit. Book is not necessary. This proffesor is one of the best ones i've had during my 2 years at MDC he is really helpful, tries to give as much extra credit as possible all tests are directly from powerpoints which he goes over a lot during class. If u dont get an A in the class is simply because u werent trying at all.

Seriously the best professor at MDC. If you don't like working in groups you probably wont like this class but it's really simple. Just make sure one of your group members always has a print out of the powerpoint or has an iPhone and can look it up in class. Easy A and I actually did learn a lot!!

Great prof. After each chapter test, watch a film, then write an opinion paper about it. Easy tests, just study off of his slides. Real nice guy.

He I a great professor! He gives you 45 extra points in extra credit (a lot!) and all of it is relevant and interesting to do. His lectures are clear and funny, and he always stays on track. His tests are not bad, if you know the power points lk your favorite book. And You barely use the textbook. He also assigns a group project which I think was really fun, and he gave everyone an A! Take Professor Guntin, he is truly the best!

His examples are very fun and make you remember things. He really does care about your grade and gives you the best possible grade you can get. If you are not a group person then this might not be the class for you. There is one presentation you will do with a group of people, other than that he's great.

In the beginning, I hated this professor. He was all over the place, he wasn't sure when the tests were going to be given, but he is an extremelly helpful professor. Probably one of my favorite professors so far! He made the material easy to remember as well as sent power points for every chapter.

Pretty good teacher, we only had 3 tests, no midterm or final. No homework, attendance is MANDATORY. If you miss class, he deducts 3 points each time you were absent and that goes into his weird grading scale at the end of the semester. Only thing that was annoying was doing service learning, which is another grade.

Easy class if you have common sense. You take a quiz every class but they're easy as long as you look over the power points he emails you. 4 tests and no final and an overall AWESOME professor. I didn't buy the book & passed the tests with 80 or above; quizzes with 7pts or above because he sends out power points of the chapters. gives like two 200-word assignments that are pretty easy. theres a 10 hour service learning requirement, for 100 points. & one group presentation, teaches good, would take again. 2pts per class, total 100pts

This professor was great at his job. He made the class interesting by playing videos and real-world scenarios. He respected the students very well. Personally reading the chapters of the book was sufficient enough to get a high grade. He expects students to come to class but more importantly on quiz and exam dates.

Okay so I took him this semester and let me say you need the book and exams are pretty hard if you don't read. And by reading I mean actually reading not just skimming he said no extra credit then towards the end he noticed people were failing so he offered extra credit. I'm having a great time in this class. I love the way he teaches and the fact that he is always available. He responds emails quickly and he comes up with good advise and gives good tips to improve your grade. He doesn't give study guides but you can use the power points as study guides and you will do fine.

What I quickly learned after the 1st test was how hard this class was going to be. I have never been in such a difficult class. (HARD) but they'll save ur final grade. 4 tests - 4 ch. for 2 tests and 3 ch. the other 2 tests. USE QUIZLET for vocab! Read the book a couple of days before the quiz and you'll be fine he gives the quiz before the chapter starts which is odd but they are all 12 questions long which is easy and requires 10 hours of service learning for homework it's annoying but achievable and he's pretty funny and kind.

The only thing I don't like is that he gives quizzes and THEN teaches the material. You have to teach yourself for the quizzes which is every week. He gives study guides which are helpful.

It was a wonderful and valuable experience. You can tell that he loves his job and cares about his students. When he tells you read, he is not joking but he gives study guides and he is always available to help.

Hes amazing , funny and makes the class so interesting , I recommend him so much . You do have to read a lot from the textbook so if you dont want to read then dont take this class also 10 hours service learning and a paper about it but overall excellent class you actually learn a lot

The tests were hard over all, but the main thing you need to do in order to pass, is to read the textbook! He gives us PowerPoint lectures and I like that he sends you the PowerPoints and a study guide for each test as well. That helps a lot! You really have to know your study strategy in order to do well in this class (flashcards, etc).

I took this professor for Spring 2017, There were quizzes every week The quiz comes before the lecture so you have to study using the book on your own. You will have exams, but there is a test review for it and he takes care of finishing the study guide in class. There were extra credit questions in each quiz and test. Service Learning also.

He gives you study guides before hand(or you can request of him to do so), which is great to follow in class with; his test are LITERALLY his guides. Gives exta credit and is funny + makes class interesting... Just read the book/power points and do the guide + take advantage of extra credit, youll pass forsure!!!

This guys is A-MAZING! He truly love Psychology. Easy A overall but READ the book and pay attention when he say "this might be in the exam" cuz is gonna be lol. Lots of extra credits. Beware of quizzes, there is one quiz before each chapter! He also requires a Service-Learning but it helps a lot your grade.

A very good choice for a professor. Hes a good teacher and gives easy tests. If you want to get an A in the class, you must do Service Learning and show up every class and take the quizzes he administers often. He also gives extra credit opportunities very often whether it be for campus activities or extra essays. I highly recommend taking him.

He makes the class fun and makes everything easy to remember. He doesnt give a lot of homework but you do have to read the book and notes in order to remember everything, keep track and pass quizzes and exams. If you have any questions about anything you can always contact him and hell be there for you. BEST TEACHER IVE HAD IN COLLEGE!!

Gives good feed back and is always very welcoming to students and is always very very helpful. A good amount of reading is expected but nothing absurd. Will definitely choose him again in future.

This class requires a lot of effort but the professor is very passionate about psychology. He made the subject very interesting and uses very good examples in order to make vocabulary and terms easier to remember. Pay attention in class, and you should get an easy B or A!

He is awesome! This is my second time taking him and I couldn't love him more. He's super chill, hilarious, gives a bunch of opportunities for volunteering and internships, and his class is super easy. As long as you pay half attention to what he's saying and do the study guides, you'll pass no problem.

Amazing psychology professor, he values his students and the subject very highly and has interesting lectures and class activities. Read the textbook, follow the syllabus, and show up to class every day to easily pass, you will be guaranteed to learn something transformative once you leave. Would instantly take him again in a heartbeat.

His class is very straight forward and attendance is mandatory. You will definitely need your textbook; you will read in his class!

My favorite professor this semester. Yes, the workload can get a bit overwhelming but as long as you time manage it is nothing out of the ordinary. His lectures are amazing and very insightful. He is open to any questions and will make sure to explain until you understand. Really good sense of humor and always wishing the best. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!!

Jose was an amazing professor, he takes care of his students and really wants the best for them. He assigns a good amount of work, but it's nothing the average student can't handle. He's very funny and makes jokes in class, which makes the class lighter-hearted and fun for everyone. I would highly recommend him to a friend, take him without worry.

Super sweet, I recommend you take him. There is a proctored midterm and no proctored final. A lot of homework to bring up your grade and he gives extra credit I ended up with a 101%.

This professor provides multiple resources to help students study for their ch./module tests. Also, gives extra credit for those looking for security in attaining a higher grade. Also, is willing to allow you to turn in late work for partial credit. And trust me a zero is much worse, compared to a half credit.

This professor was amazing. I took him in the summer and the class consisted of a midterm and final (not proctored due to covid), 1 paper (easy), and like 5 discussions and 5 quizzes. All the work is easy just make sure you do it. You can reach him out of class. It is a 6 week class but its an easy A if you complete your work. No late work allowed.

I took CLP 1006 and it was an easy class. He will give you a kind of weekly assignments and like two or three tests plus the final. The thing is that I didnt studied that much for the final so I got a bad grade and ended up with a C, but thats on me. He is super hilarious and a really good professor! I recommend him to you all!

Genuinely one of the sweetest professors I've known. He listens to his students (there have been multiple times where he pushed back due dates because the class was overwhelmed with other work) and a lot of the work is pretty easy.

I took ClP1006 with this professor hands down one of the best classes Ive ever taken. Gives so many opportunities to pass the class. Its almost impossible to fail.

this class was so much fun to learn in. He truly cares about his students and will help you out as much as possible. There is homework weekly but you are able to go ahead and finish them all. there is a midterm and final not proctored, research report, and many quizzes and case studies.

He's genuinely a kind human, I took him for CLP and I actually learned a lot. You can apply a lot of his lectures to your life and to me that's the best kind of teacher. His class was very straightforward, you have an in class assignment almost every class but they're simple (like three questions) and his quizzes are not proctored no HW, TAKE HIM!!

Professor Guntin was an amazing teacher. He will do everything he can to help you succeed in his class. One chapter was read every week with corresponding assignments and a quiz. All the assignments were easy and the quizzes were open note and book. The class also has SharkPack for those who are opted in. There is one paper, a midterm, and a final.

This was the easiest class ever! literally a easy A you have to make sure that you study for your quizzes those are the only semi hard work about the class but everything else is literally a easy A just make sure you do your work and study for the proctored final exam.

Straightforward and easygoing professor! I took him for an online class and the workload was fairly easy and doable. The quizzes, however, require textbook reading in order to get a good grade, so be prepared to read. The work consisted of module discussions, chapter video quizzes, and tests. Quick and easy grader, would recommend.

He is one of the best I've had so far, he genuinely cares about the subject matter and the students. There are online assignments to do every week, which are easy, and then there's a mid-term and final (in person) as well as a research paper. Overall very easy, and would take it again.

Homework 25% every week per chapter. Midterm 25% and Final 25%. Group project 25% of your grade and what you'll be doing most of the semester. Super chill guy takes time to explain topic and answers emails quick. Would take again

The professor knows his information and explains it very well, there is one midterm, one final, and one presentation, hw each weighing 25%, the class is easy if you put in the time to study, also their is extra credit which can bring up your grade up a letter grade.

He is not a bad professor but will never ever extend anything! A lot of homework so make sure to study them for the final and midterm. The Midterm is proctored but not the final. So study and do not slack off.

Good lectures, you can tell he's passionate about what he's teaching and he loves his job. Very sweet and cares about his students. Also accessible after class to ask for any questions/clarifications about any assignments.

Supper nice and attentive. He explains everything clearly makes it easy to ask questions. The 50-minute lectures go by fast, but he covers everything on time. Homework is on Top Hat and is pretty easy. Midterm and final require Lockdown Browser it's straightforward if you study. There's also a group project that's simple as long as you plan ahead.

Professor Guntin was super nice & funny sometimes. I didn't pass my midterm but i didn't study at all so i had to study good for my final and i passed. The material covered isn't hard it's just a good amount of info so don't procrastinate. His midterm & final are lockdown browser in class you can't take it if you're not in class lol so study.

I recommend taking Professor Guntin. He is super chill and passionate about psychology. His class consisted homework, a midterm (proctored), one group project presentation, and a final (proctored) that are each worth 25% of your grade. Also, he adds a lot of extra credit assignments which helps your grade by a lot!

Professor Gutierrez is a very kind and reasonable professor. You have one online homework assignment per week and one extra credit opportunity. In the second half of the semester there will be an increase in EC for last half of the chapters. There are 3 big assignments/tests. Worth 25% each (Mid term & final) and group project also worth 25%

Prof. Guntin was very nice and sweet. No make-ups, but lots of extra credit. Take good notes! Lectures start boring but get more interesting. You'll have an in-person presentation, so be ready to speak in front of class. Tests are proctored, but do the extra credit and you'll be fine.
