he is a great professor, at the beginning you will think he is kind of crazy but thru the days you will get to know him and he is a great professor.

People should never expect an easy A for chem and his class is extremely doable. Tests are simple and to the point, just pay attention to the powerpoint, book problems/examples, and read the book so you aren't completely clueless. He wants to see his students succedd and he's willing to work with you if you seek help. Gives extra credit if you ask.

I took the lab with him. He really helps students to get a good grade. Gives extra credit. He will never return any of your lab reports but he will keep you inform about your progress.

Prof. Lagomasino is simply great. He explain very clear and he bring us a lot of excellent examples, all applied in life. He is always ready to help students. I am doing CHM1033L. He is very well prepared in Chem, Bio, Phys, and in Biochem "WAO" more than excellent. I recomend him for any class.

I've never seen a Professor of Physic that teach so clear than him before, and he is actually a good professor of Chemistry, teaching also so clear and simple that I recomend him to all who want to learn easily and deep.

Prof Lagomasino is actually also an excellent professor of Organic Chemistry I. I dropped it last semester because I couldn't learn a grain of rice in other Campus, but with Lagomasino, I could learn all. I had him before in CHM 1046 and he was simply excellent. MDC-IA has a great professor in Mr. Lagomasino.

Most students got an A or a B, except for the few slackers who got C's. He loves chemistry, and his passion is contagious. I would love to have him for Orgo 2, but he's not teaching it.

there are 5 exams. he gives lots of extra credit like 1 exam he gave 40 ques but 15 extras. everyone got an A in that one. but another exam he gave only 1 extra and ppl got Cs and Ds. and no netta go to class cos he reads off ppts and u will still be clueless afterwards. it works perfect with my busy schedule. pero if u really wanna learn, get out!

Great Professor

Mr Lagomasino is actually a very good Professor of Chemistry, who said opposite is because they were bad student. He teach very deeply so you we needed to study hard, his English is good, he always gave us several of applied examples, others did not. It's a pitty that he is not now teaching CHM1046. I do recomend him for all Chem.

I had prof Lagomasino in Chem 1046, he was as a big leagues pitcher, with him you need to study all weeks, he is helpful, but if you don't study, you will fail totally, I had to study pretty hard for my "A", and now, I will continue with him in Org. Chem-I, I knew that he is better in Org Chem. With him you learn Chem if yoy like Chem, he loves Che

He is a GREAT professor but I would not take him again because he is a little too over the place. He actually stops the class if you have a question and he will make sure you understand before moving on. If you wanna learn chemistry TAKE HIM but STUDY HARD :)

Dr. Lago is the best. He cares about his students. He teaches Organic Chem in a way that you will be able to understand it. He is an excellent teacher.

He is an amazing professor, very helpful. I got an A in his class and I learned a lot. He uses presentations based on your book and leave you exercises to do at home at extra credit.If you study you'll be fine. Even if you take this class easy you'll do fine as long as you go to each class. Has a strong Spanish/European accent.

At First Prof Lagomasino "seems" very intimidating but as you get to know him you understand his passion to "help his students and Not to break them". Just follow everything he says and you will be Okay. He understands what it is to work full time, go to school and raise a family. I really wish he was teaching chm1045 again, maybe next sem.

Really nice professor, down to earth type of guy. Understands that the class it self is hard so he works with you. I got an A. Show him that at least you are trying and trust me you will pass. Do all the homework they are worth 45% of your grade and his test have mini-reviews. I love him as a teacher I would recommend him to anybody. Awesome!!!!!!!

Prof. Lagomasino is a sweetheart. He was extremely helpful for lab. Yes, he has a thick accent but it's bearable. He gives u chances to bring up ur grade & truly helps u prepare for the exams.

OMG he is SOOOO hot. LOL. He is a very cute Cuban professor, very helpful and easy going. His accent is strong but once you are used to it the class is very enjoyable. If you speak Spanish he gives you extra explanations and you will be able to get better understanding. It's a shame he doesn't teach any Organic Lab. Highly recommended.

He is a great person , i have him for lab and he is very good at explaining , he does however have a strong spanish to english accent but if you know spanish you can ask him to tell you in spanish and use it to your advantage he loves for his students to understand and is very thorough ! love his class !

I ADORE this teacher. He helped me so much. The class consist of 4 test some easy some hard & HW but he will help you so much. Talk to him. He teaches you easy ways to learn things. I would not have passed my CHM lecture if it wasnt for him. Got an "A" but thought I would get a B, he grades fairly and tries to help you as much as possible

Best lab professor, I had prof Lagomasino for chem 2 Lab and Orgo 1 lab. He is helpful, funny and an incredible teacher. Orgo lab can be really stressful, but he will answer any questions you have. I wish he was teaching orgo 2 lab this summer. If you have the opportunity to take his class, take it! you will not regret it.

I was scared at the beginning because it was a while without taking a chemistry class. However, this professor made it easy. A lot of extra credits. The test are very clear, and everything that he mentioned in the lectures it will be test. If you do the extra credits and pay attention to the lectures and take notes you will be fine. 5 starts

Was really scared about CHM class, but taking it with this professor was easy, he is a very good professor who cares for their students, gives a lot of extra credits and always able to help you with some questions. I strongly recommend him if you want to get an A

This was an asynchronous class . Prof. lagomasino did a fine job with grading and feedback. You need to work for your grade and self study to be able to success. He is a good choice for lab class .

You have to write the whole procedure and draw the materials for each lab, he grades lab reports, he has quiz before each class on the lab for the day and midterm and final is HARD. But regardless you have to read and write all labs so you are likely to pass.

If u take this class expect to work. It's a LAB class. Some of ya expect everything handed to u. Lab report after each lab. 1 midterm & final. He provides extra credit in his test. He knows when ur cheating on his labs don't be slick. Overall loved Prof. Lagomasino, he's an awesome charismatic teacher. Ya the problem.
